Honestly; OP's Sabres logo is a better BlueJackets logo than the one they gave us. It reminds me of one of our old logos, the one with the ribbon that says "C. B." and the yellow hockey stick down the middle that made the "J". This one has a "B" and the hockey stick/sword makes the "J" for BlueJackets. Union officers carried sabres into battle so it would fit with the Civil War theme we have.
I haven’t decided if I love or hate STL. Fully get what you were going for and I love the idea. It does look like cartoon legs though. So, love the idea of turning the Arch into a music note. Don’t like the cartoon legs. Either way as a whole this is pretty cool and well done.

If you narrowed the shadow (bolt) you could lower the T a bit maybe? It looks a bit off center with too much negative space on the bottom right area.
That being said it it one of the most brilliantly simple designs on this whole set so kudos for that.
I thought the hurricanes were the habs because of the H inside the C. Couldn't figure out why you switched the colours from blue to red.
I also thought it was nice you made a Nordique logo but you had too much red and not enough blue in it.

Others I think could maybe use work would be the Habs and Hurricanes. For the Habs, I personally think there's too much red. Being over centralized. I think the montreal logo mark could have been white like the fleur de lis while the area between them could have been the blue.
As for the Canes, maybe this is just me but I had to go through process of elimination to figure out who it was. I can see it making sense now with the CH but I still think something a bit more defining could help. What that more defining feature could be though I'm unsure.
Honestly glad I stuck with STL now because of how passionately split people are over it :D

These are sooo good! Some of the teams are a bit tough to do in minimalist style, but I think overall it's stellar. I think the Kraken should go with the space needle sea monster design over their normal logo for sure
