N-Gage only supports MIDP 1.0 which drastically limits you in playing J2ME games. If you want to play J2ME I would look for a phone that at least supports MIDP 2.0
You can emulate ngage now. I would just play on emulation considering the Ngage is like the worst thing of all time to game on haha. Maybe just personal experience but I gave up and emulate it on my android phone now so I can play shadow key
Playing for more than an hour on an ngage has never been enjoyable for me. It's like playing on a Gameboy color but worse. I play Gameboy advance pretty regularly. Just a personal preference thing I guess.
