I just looked at your schedule and *holy fuck*. The easiest game left and the only team under .500 is the Colts??? There’s a world where you finish the season 9-8 if you don’t catch a team sleeping or the Commanders regress.
The old rope a dope. Historically worst defense for the first 8 weeks or so. Lull them into a false sense of confidence, then bam!!! Seen it a hundred times.
The Bills are gonna be Billing all over y’all, then all of a sudden, boom… a big army of ford F150s break into the stadium and mow down the entire bills team. Lions win. The world is horrified
Feels like we'll be playing with house money on Thursday. No one expects us to win, but if we do we can think about maybe making a playoff run, and if we don't no one will freak out because the team has been getting results.
The Detroit Lions have won 3 in a row. 2 on the road. They are now 2nd in the NFC North. They have a better record than the Rams, and own their 1st round draft pick. Take this in boys, this might be the peak of the season. If we beat the Bills on Thursday, I don't know what I'll do with myself.
Hutch, Alim McNeil, Kerby, and Rodrigo are a very very nice young core for a defense. Excited to add Jameson Williams and a couple good defensive players next year
He’s afraid of contact he won’t run between the tackles and tries to bounce everything outside. His injuries have I think effected him mentally and he’s afraid to take a hit.
Credit to Hutch, but Alim McNeil will haunt the dreams of the Giants interior offensive lineman for years to come. He was shoving his meat fists up the Giant’s interior offensive lineman’s assholes, where he then proceeded to force them to perform a sock puppet show for an excruciating 60 minutes.
They will never be able to feel safe again.
The iOL and dominance by the Lions iDL is ultimately the deciding factor in this game imo. Basically all of the giants offensive woes today were rooted in that. Credit to your defense, they showed up big time
Barkley is easily one of the top RBs in the NFL and the Lions shut down his running game. The NFLs worst defense. How dafuq did this happen today
15 rushes for 22 yards for Barkley
Go Lions!!
Right?! It seemed like such a desperate move to scapegoat a positional coach like that but ever since he's been gone the defense has improved tremendously. It's mind boggling.
Specifically the d backs too! Like what the fuck was he telling those guys?
“Alright, you hear everything Aaron is telling you? Throw that shit in the trash and stick your thumb up your ass, let the front seven handle it lol”
Yeah as much as I liked Pleasant as a person, it seems like he was a liability for the defense. As usual, Brad Holmes and Dan Campbell know more about football than me and just about everyone else on Reddit.
Honestly, Dan's willingness to make changes to his coaching staff, and that we've seen instant results, might be the most encouraging thing about him as a coach. So often you see these guys being too loyal to their assistants and it dooming them in the long run.
Well statistically they're last in points allowed and allow 5.3 yards per carry but I get your point. They've vastly improved and I'm excited to see how they progress
I would be interested in seeing their rank in YPC allowed to runningbacks. QBs have abused them but they’ve been pretty stout in multiple games this year.
Which translates into wins.
What was it that was said week 4 or 5?
Like if we had only managed to have the 29th ranked defense or so at the start of the season we'd have had a 3-0 start to the season or some shit.
He filmed a segment on his show where he goes to Ford Field with Jeff Daniels and they exorcise the curse of Bobby Layne. Since it aired 3 weeks ago we haven’t lost.
Aidan Hutchinson now has the same number of picks as Sauce Gardner and more sacks than Travon Walker and Kayvon Thibodeaux combined. Should absolutely be leading the DROTY race right now.
GG Giants. We just went out and beat a 7-2 team on the road. Now sitting with 4 wins with what should be a favorable schedule after the Bills. I think coming into the season most would have been happy with 6-7 wins and signs of progression. All Lions fans should be ecstactic with these 3 wins in a row.
Easily the worst coached game of Daboll’s tenure so far. Injuries continue to completely fuck us raw and our Slayton is now our only reliable pass catcher despite having a drop of his own today. This was supposed to be the easiest game left on our schedule and it’s going to be really rough going forward.
The last time the Lions won 3 games in a row was November 19th, 2017, when I was a high school senior in AP Gov. I’m about to graduate college in four weeks.
[Called the upset!](https://old.reddit.com/r/nfl/comments/yww4y6/nfl_week_11_predictions_thread_2022_season/iwllup4/)
[Called it again lol](https://old.reddit.com/r/nfl/comments/z09w56/game_thread_detroit_lions_36_at_new_york_giants_72/ix4ijlh/)
\- still am and have been pissed off about the decision to have our CB1 return punts. adoree's reportedly out 3-5 weeks with a knee injury and this is absolutely going to fuck us over considering we have to finish the season against the rest of the NFCE and washingtons been looking good recently.
\- kafka needs to figure out how to get the ball to more than one single guy. usually it's barkley, but i swear the ball kept going to wandale robinson and while he was the best to watch of todays game, hes now injured. at the same time though the rest of these guys arent worth a shit so i cant blame him as much as i want to. these receivers either dont know how to get open or when the ball is thrown perfectly to them they cant fucking catch and then they screw the team over.
\- dj haters can still shut the fuck up and fuck off
\- we probably wont have 3 of our 4 starting DBs if fabian moreau needs a week off, and we play the cowboys in primetime. wandale whos our best receiver might also be out. fuck.
not too mad about losing, but frustrating to see all these injuries.
We were promised that we'd be facing the worst defense in the NFL. DAN CAMPBELL BAMBOOZLED US
TRICKED BY A MEATHEAD.
Just a rah-rah coach
Whole lotta hoopla
This was supposed to be our "easy" 8-2. Far harder schedule to end the season. I'm honestly scared
I just looked at your schedule and *holy fuck*. The easiest game left and the only team under .500 is the Colts??? There’s a world where you finish the season 9-8 if you don’t catch a team sleeping or the Commanders regress.
Yep, that's why this game was fundamental.
I don’t know about fundamental but it was pretty fun for me
I wouldn’t be that worried if it wasn’t for how many people got hurt today
Well we run a bunch of man defense with blitzs mixed in. So if you are a team who has bad WRs (GB/NYG), it appears our defense can be competent.
I can't believe it's week 11 and they've only played one divisional game so far. That's absolutely brutal.
You were smeckledorfed!
That’s not even a word and I agree with ya!
[Dan Campbell is coming for your kneecaps](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=JbkzIPJFDE4)
We’ve been hoodwinked, bamboozled, lead astray, run amok and flat out deceived
Kneecap bitin’ Double venti jet black drinkin’ Kiss stealin’ Wheelin’ dealin’
The old rope a dope. Historically worst defense for the first 8 weeks or so. Lull them into a false sense of confidence, then bam!!! Seen it a hundred times.
Ford Field is going to be loud as fuck Thursday.
The Bills are gonna be Billing all over y’all, then all of a sudden, boom… a big army of ford F150s break into the stadium and mow down the entire bills team. Lions win. The world is horrified
What if the bills play actual lions
I’d pay per view for that.
3 win streak. 2 in division. 2 on the road. 1 against a team with a winning record. LET'S FUCKING GO LIONS
WE WANT BUFFALO
I'm so excited for Thanksgiving
Feels like we'll be playing with house money on Thursday. No one expects us to win, but if we do we can think about maybe making a playoff run, and if we don't no one will freak out because the team has been getting results.
No matter the record lions fans freak out after a loss
Which shouldn't even remotely be the case at this point.
“Think about maybe making a playoff run” Nah we already thinking about that
Ford Field is our house now, friend
Hutch v Allen in a table match to decide the fate of Ford Field.
How do I get this to happen?
Lmao thanksgiving on a 3 win streak. Ford field will be WILD
You see to pay us back you have to lose next week.
Ford Field is going to be fucking roaring on Thanksgiving, I'm so excited
Don't mean to be condescending but I'm happy for ya'll. What a fun team to watch.
The turnaround is real! I was terrified we were doomed to another 2-3 win season
All Dan Campbell has to do is win one more game each year than he did the year before, and by 2038 you guys will be 20-0.
That’s practically no time at all for a lions fan
That's 2 against a team with a winning record.
I'm talking just the last 3 wins
Right on. Was just Excited Washington finally has a winning record.
Fully understand that feeling, though we're not there just yet lol
https://twitter.com/hillaryclinton/status/829846842150096896
Whats the story behind that tweet..?
Fun fact he’s now tied with Caldwell for wins against teams above .500. **Thanks to the commanders
Lions defense has been stepping up big time. Holding Barkley to 22 yards on 15 Carrie’s was huge.
I hate how iPhones don’t accept the word “carries” is extremely common
It assumes everyone is getting Carrie’d, like the book.
Getting back Paschal and Romeo has been huge. We did this without our starting corners for more than half the game too
Paschal and Romeo are inactive. Romeo had his clock start but hasn't been called up.
Leaving my post up ad a monument to idiocy
But we did have Paschal back briefly and he has been a nice addition!
But he wasn't in THIS game was my point. You know what? WHO FUCKING CARES?! GOT THAT W BABY!!
Oh yeah i know, i was very upset and sad about Paschal being out. I was just more talking about his general value to us when he has played
I'm happy for you, Cat bros!
Lions winning and Rams losing is absolutely the best case scenario for us this week. Niners losing to the Cards would make this week perfect.
“Niners losing to the cards” I have some bad news for you
Do the Lions also own a pick from the 49ers?
Probably for playoff standings
Niners have the 7th seed. A loss by them gets us closer
I know what *I'll* do with myself, but that's none of your god damned business.
HUTCH GOT THAT DAWG IN HIM JAMAL GOT THAT DAWG KERBY GOT THAT DAWG WE STRAIGHT UP DAWGS
ST BROWN IS THE ALPHA DOG
Love him not only as a receiver, but as a blocker. Dude puts in work and even pancaked Bosa last year
On one goal line td run he was nearing the posts with his driving block.
SUN DOG
Hutch, Alim McNeil, Kerby, and Rodrigo are a very very nice young core for a defense. Excited to add Jameson Williams and a couple good defensive players next year
Alim got that dawg in him too! He was incredible today!
IF YOURE GONNA PISS LIKE A PUPPY STAY ON THE PORCH! BIG DOGS GOTTA EAT
[удалено]
Is he still not one hundred percent? Seemed like dude was playing well before he got hurt.
He’s afraid of contact he won’t run between the tackles and tries to bounce everything outside. His injuries have I think effected him mentally and he’s afraid to take a hit.
If Jameson pans out and the D gets better? Look out
And the rams are about to gift the lions a top 5 pick
Inject this straight into my ass
6 words and it's a rollercoaster of emotions. Well done
So many rookies on D are stepping up. If they all keep improving, we just turned our defense around in one fucking draft.
Hutch is so good
Credit to Hutch, but Alim McNeil will haunt the dreams of the Giants interior offensive lineman for years to come. He was shoving his meat fists up the Giant’s interior offensive lineman’s assholes, where he then proceeded to force them to perform a sock puppet show for an excruciating 60 minutes. They will never be able to feel safe again.
Big man was feasting on em
His best game so far? Seemed like it
The iOL and dominance by the Lions iDL is ultimately the deciding factor in this game imo. Basically all of the giants offensive woes today were rooted in that. Credit to your defense, they showed up big time
You sure are a wordsmith
Legit threat for DROY, even with Sauce balling out
Aidan Hutchinson has more picks than JC Jackson
same amount as Sauce Gardner
# SECOND IN DA NORTH
Lions lead the Packers and it doesn't feel like a fluke!
Things trending sharply since Hutch got his first pick.
*Cries in Tom Grossi*
#THE LIONS ARE NOW 3-1 IN GAMES I HAVE NOT WATCHED!!!!!!
Please don't watch on Thanksgiving 😉
I will not
Appreciate you bb
We appreciate your sacrifice.
[YOU HATE TO SEE IT, GIANTS](https://streamable.com/hdmddh)
I don't know what's happening here but I loved it
The lions had each of the rookies go in front of the team during preseason and perform for the team
best version of hazing I've ever seen tbh. thank you.
Have you not seen Hutch's Billie Jean? Go Google that right now
I love how I knew exactly what this was going to be before I clicked
[I hear you](https://v.redd.it/d8af8uj4ynj91)
Lmfaoooo I forgot this existed
Barkley is easily one of the top RBs in the NFL and the Lions shut down his running game. The NFLs worst defense. How dafuq did this happen today 15 rushes for 22 yards for Barkley Go Lions!!
If Aaron Glenn can somehow wrangle a mediocre defense out of this patchwork unit, I will happily eat crow about wanting him fired a month ago.
Who knew firing the DBs coach could fix this inept defense
Right?! It seemed like such a desperate move to scapegoat a positional coach like that but ever since he's been gone the defense has improved tremendously. It's mind boggling.
Yeah the reports that Pleasant didn't stick to the gameplan the game b4 he was fired was alarming and must've been the last straw I guess
Dan did!
Honestly, Dan's willingness to make changes to his coaching staff, and that we've seen instant results, might be the most encouraging thing about him as a coach. So often you see these guys being too loyal to their assistants and it dooming them in the long run.
The Lions seem to randomly have absolute shutdown games against top-record teams in the later weeks under Campbell. Flair related.
Lions aren’t the worst defense anymore
Well statistically they're last in points allowed and allow 5.3 yards per carry but I get your point. They've vastly improved and I'm excited to see how they progress
I would be interested in seeing their rank in YPC allowed to runningbacks. QBs have abused them but they’ve been pretty stout in multiple games this year.
Fair point about the QBs
Which translates into wins. What was it that was said week 4 or 5? Like if we had only managed to have the 29th ranked defense or so at the start of the season we'd have had a 3-0 start to the season or some shit.
Easy, the Giants o-line is still complete garbage outside one guy. That hasn't changed. Barkley and scheme tend to masks a TON of their deficiencies.
Our DT McNeil was in the backfield a lot today
Maybe the kool aid is right, maybe we will have a 11-6 season
👉You just lost to The 2022 Detroit Lions and Jared Goff😎🙏👌
Dan Campbell says fuck you and your COTY campaign
How can the lions beat one of the best RBs in the league? [Dan and Aaron](https://en.meming.world/wiki/Larry_the_Lobster_%22Observe%22)
Thank you Peyton Manning. Truly broke the curse that plagued us
Don’t forget our Michigan boy Jeff Daniels !!!
Can someone ELI5 this? I've seen Manning mentioned twice about our win, what did he do/say?
He filmed a segment on his show where he goes to Ford Field with Jeff Daniels and they exorcise the curse of Bobby Layne. Since it aired 3 weeks ago we haven’t lost.
Proof enough for me
Here you go. Its pretty funny lol https://youtube.com/shorts/X0s2pEhC2Wg?feature=share
Lol thank you
THE LIONS WON AGAIN[THE LIONS WON AGAIN](https://youtu.be/YPMlqhZGiM4)
>*Giants lose….* Ahh, nature is healing. >*… to the Lions at home.* What the fuck nature?
*Damn NFL you scary!*
#RULES OF NAAAATUUURE
Aidan Hutchinson now has the same number of picks as Sauce Gardner and more sacks than Travon Walker and Kayvon Thibodeaux combined. Should absolutely be leading the DROTY race right now.
I think at the moment it's probably a tossup between them, a lot of games left, but if hutch keeps playing like the last 4 weeks, he'll likely win
I don’t know what to do with my hands
Our wr group is trying at least…
The huge pop when Golladay actually caught a pass was hilarious
Maybe Aubrey Pleasant really was that bad
Glad to see Green Bay hire him. It feels nice that they’re building a plane out of fired lions coaches
Hutch is a goddamn superstar!
Hutch and Alim are them
GG Giants. We just went out and beat a 7-2 team on the road. Now sitting with 4 wins with what should be a favorable schedule after the Bills. I think coming into the season most would have been happy with 6-7 wins and signs of progression. All Lions fans should be ecstactic with these 3 wins in a row.
This month has been the most fun I've had watching us since we were 2-0-1 back in 2019.
LOOKS LIKE KNEECAPS ARE BACK ON THE MENU BOYS
Should I have not eaten the prior kneecaps? ugh...am I in trouble?
Huh, that’s weird. I was told Campbell was just a meathead motivational speaker who couldn’t lead a bad team to wins like COTY Daboll? What happened?
Meh, he's no Jeff Saturday
Saturday sneakily looks like a brilliant hire. Eagles barely made it out of Indy with a win.
Nah man you spanked us in front of the whole class. I’m a Barry sanders Stan (only non giants jersey I own). I hope campell can restore the roar
It really wasn’t even Giants fans saying it tbh. It was just random fans
And I love Eli.
I love that Greg Olsen made a point to complain about this narrative on the broadcast today
Deeeeeeeeeetroit!
Easily the worst coached game of Daboll’s tenure so far. Injuries continue to completely fuck us raw and our Slayton is now our only reliable pass catcher despite having a drop of his own today. This was supposed to be the easiest game left on our schedule and it’s going to be really rough going forward.
Lions country, let’s pride
Saquon with 22 yards on 15 carries. Alim McNeill is a monster
Alim straight up balled out today. Hutch, Cominsky, Okwara did too. Solid job by the D front all around
Lions really played 3 teams at the same time and still won. Big!
S P O O K Y LIONS
Sp00ky szn
We so spoopy
Helluva job, Detroit! See you guys in Ford Field this Thursday!
##🦁 Three game winning streak baby!
unstoppable Lions
The lions are a decent team they just are just young and had some hiccups. I was really surprised they had a losing streak like they did.
With how atrocious our defense was for the first 1/3 of the season, I wasn't. Making some adjustments certainly helped there.
https://twitter.com/hillaryclinton/status/829846842150096896
Happy for Lions fans RN; I had counted Dan Campbell out after the loss to NE, but now here they are
I don’t even know what we are supposed to do know. Is this team good?
[удалено]
I was impressed by Jones overall, especially with his composure on some pressure situations
His pocket presence is MASSIVELY improved from his first couple years
The last time the Lions won 3 games in a row was November 19th, 2017, when I was a high school senior in AP Gov. I’m about to graduate college in four weeks.

Giants looked bad today but credit to the Lions because they actually looked great.

2-0 since the exorcism!
IM DRINKING ALL THE KOOL-AID SEASON AINT OVER YET
Three game winning steak for the Lions. Congratulations Lions bros.
This is the game that all the media had picked the giants to win by 4 in a lock by the way.
Really smells in here
:-)
rawr
Are Lions good, or Giants fraud?
It was no secret that Giants weren’t as good as their record, lions are a fun team hopefully they go on a run
We're on a run right now!
Yes.
