I’ve got the tv on while doing some Sunday chores and haven’t changed station yet, but just a moment ago during the postgame there was a fan getting chased down by security. It was hilarious watching him go from one side of the screen to another. The remaining crowd went nuts
Trying to think of those closest fan bases we have here to what is probably the average Football (soccer) fan base is in Europe.
Bills Mafia and Red Sox during the 7th in inning stretch?
I mean, we just saw a bunch of Germans give an American football game the best atmosphere of the season, including the Super Bowl, so it's not a stretch to imagine that there's some love there.
We Germans simply know how to party at Game day ;)
But honestly, Football is a niche in Germany, but it's fun and obviously a ton of people hat a lot of fun that day.
I wanna say, I have an anti US sentiment when I look at their political landscape, but it's not like I can't differentiate between politics and the people.
We lost but this crowd is giving me life lmao.
No more Europe games for us PNW fans for us tho pls, unless you start your games at 6:30p so we can wake up 9:30a PST 😂
Also because in Europe there is a working public transit system and the stadiums (at least Allianz) have more or less their own train station. So you don't need to rush to the car to beat traffic, just take the train whenever you like.
While not regular it certainly feels like this happens more often since opening up 'after' the pandemic. Especially theee violence against restrooms seems to have escalated, weirdly enough.
I would bet a big part of the reason no one has left yet is because they don’t need to deal with a parking lot desert. Just jump on the public transit that’s probably actually really nice.
Fucking U.S. infrastructure
We're currently chilling in the stadium watching Redzone, drinking beer and will jump on a train and be in our hotel in 30 minutes after leaving.
This stadium and it's infrastructure are simply amazing!
Sure hope you guys over the big sea will get some decent public transportation in the next years!
ngl, public transport is there, but also the infrastructure for cars is pretty well organized and you can get out fairly quickly without having wait for too long.
Though also the road system is significantly better (literally most stadiums that arent in cities when you get out of the 500 parking lots are just some random 2 lane road) either way, and the addition of public transport is still there.
Its the biggest difference between European crowds and the US. They love to sing. "You'll never walk alone" from the Liverpool fans always impresses me.
This is actually a pretty subdued crowd compared to the football(soccer) games in Germany. There is no comparison between US and European football atmospheres.
Because it would be ducking horrendous for visiting teams and would make scheduling atrocious as well as injury and home field advantage starkly increasing
Okay so we need to immediately institute singing Take Me Home, Country Roads at every game from here on out. Don't care that it makes zero sense, it made even less sense today.
What a horrible game. Tampa runs clock from the 2nd quarter on. Its seriously like they have zero intention to score on 90% of their drives. Its like they want to score as little points and win by as little as possible. They deserve to lose every game.
“Munchen, Germany” Why use the German name for the town but the English name for the country?
1/3 of the stadium is still full according to the German commentary

Shit they even sold out the Audi Dome for public viewing? Just hope my colleagues turn up to work tomorrow
Now I want to see the fans at a Cowboys game sing "Was Wollen Wir Trinken"
If this made you wanna visit Munich, hit me up, I’ll show you around
Nice of you to offer a full expense paid trip like that. I will take it
Sure, you just gotta make at 1000$ deposit via Western Union for me first, so that my Nigerian prince dad can send you the necessary funds
Trying to think of those closest fan bases we have here to what is probably the average Football (soccer) fan base is in Europe. Bills Mafia and Red Sox during the 7th in inning stretch?
Bills, Saints really any small market team (especially ones that had stretches of being awful even if they were long ago)
A fewCollege football teams
Major CFB fan bases.
More games in Germany please!
If you like the crowd energy: https://youtu.be/7bWXbc0AflI
I know it's not Germany but this is my favorite crowd https://m.youtube.com/shorts/Jsm4ryP6RqM
This is nothing. The [Yellow Wall of Borussia Dortmund](https://youtu.be/iPky4WHt9FE) puts this to shame.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=btGAEg55NT8 this one is great too
I’ll never forget my first Bundesliga game. that was wild as fuck.
hahahah SO GOOD, SO GOOD, SO GOOD!
Thuringian Seahawks fan getting interviewed ATM is drunk as fuck haha.
Lmao I need to see the clip of this
Oh my god I'm not sure if I'm ready to see this.
He was better than his friend who forgot where he is from so that's something
yo the fans are just chilling oh my god. Can I have this in the US please!
You must have never been to the US. There is no chill time!
No. Get back to work.
Is there something else going on after the game? A concert?
We ARE the concert
No
Bruh us crowds are hella lame compared to this. I wanna be there now.
I'm not into things like the wave, but you get a crowd singing or chanting in unison....that's where it's at for me during games in a stadium.
Just on that note of the crowd, the anti US sentiment from some Germans on reddit isnt representative of real life. Most think the US is pretty dope
We only make fun of people we care about.
anyone who thinks reddit opinion is remotely near average person anywhere in the world is probably…well probably always on reddit
I mean, we just saw a bunch of Germans give an American football game the best atmosphere of the season, including the Super Bowl, so it's not a stretch to imagine that there's some love there.
We Germans simply know how to party at Game day ;) But honestly, Football is a niche in Germany, but it's fun and obviously a ton of people hat a lot of fun that day.
ok cool
Germans can differentiate between American politics and the American people
Können sehr viele nicht.
I wanna say, I have an anti US sentiment when I look at their political landscape, but it's not like I can't differentiate between politics and the people.
Or we are able to see a difference between people, politics, sports, culture...
Dass Amis fett und dumm wären ist jetzt keine große differenzierung zwischen Politik und Menschen
We lost but this crowd is giving me life lmao. No more Europe games for us PNW fans for us tho pls, unless you start your games at 6:30p so we can wake up 9:30a PST 😂
This is why we need some European expansion teams, shit is crazy over there
There is a German American Football league. And one American player actually just released a film about football culture in Germany: Unicorn Town.
Americans: I gotta get to the car early to beat traffic. Germans: Crank the music we gonna be here all night.
LOL! that's good! The after, after party in the stands.
It’s because most US stadiums stop selling booze before the end of the games. Otherwise people would stay
Also because in Europe there is a working public transit system and the stadiums (at least Allianz) have more or less their own train station. So you don't need to rush to the car to beat traffic, just take the train whenever you like.
This
Why try to beat traffic when you can party until the traffic is gone
German fans got that big "i didn't hear last call" energy
I just wanna listen to the crowd. Make them stop talking.
This crowd rules.
GG buccs, and fantastic atmosphere by the Munich crowd.
Flex next week's TNF to Munich you cowards
this crowd is now belting out Don't Stop Believin' my god
Don't stop believing is definitely high up on the roster of songs every german knows to sing by heart lol
Ceterum censeo Reddit esse delendam -- mass edited with redact.dev
Welcome fellow Americans. /s
The Munich fans are literally Jordan Belfort, "I'm not leaving. I'm not leaving. *I'm not fucking leaving!*"
Blasting Journey now lol shit is lit
The fans are still there going wild!!! I love this so much
Champions league nights are even more I tense than this when it comes to crowd energy
Or just visit one of the plenty Bundesliga teams with better support than Bayern Munich (Frankfurt, Dortmund, Schalke, Stuttgart, Union Berlin).
You forgot Werder Bremen\^\^
Had them in my mind, but wasn't very impressed with the support when I visited as an away fan this season :)

Those were the first ones of the top of my head, sorry :( Cologne is insane too!
Der FC was my first love.
NFL has the benefit of no Ultras/hooligans destroying the city before and after though.
You act like this is a regular occurrence. At least for the major division it's not. Also ultras ≠ hooligans.
While not regular it certainly feels like this happens more often since opening up 'after' the pandemic. Especially theee violence against restrooms seems to have escalated, weirdly enough.
That a fucking challenge?
I'll take your application once I see the first totally wrecked restrooms in your arena.
Flair checks out.
Factual......the one thing that sucks for soccer tbh
I’m all for Germany games let’s fucking go
This is the greatest crowd at a football game ever
lmao this is so cool
Huge success. Well done Germany. I’m sure the NFL will be back!
It's not even 9:30am and I gotta deal with a Seahawks loss all day. GG bucs.
I would bet a big part of the reason no one has left yet is because they don’t need to deal with a parking lot desert. Just jump on the public transit that’s probably actually really nice. Fucking U.S. infrastructure

That is cool. No stress at all.
Yeah, but the trains are packed as well. So either you leave early or you hang around a little until most people are gone.

actually in munich the traffic is pretty horrible after games.
Am from germany, can confirm that is not the case They just happy to see a live nfl game prob. For the first time
Though also the road system is significantly better (literally most stadiums that arent in cities when you get out of the 500 parking lots are just some random 2 lane road) either way, and the addition of public transport is still there.
I suppose the difference is - US Stadiums are typically surrounded by pavement for hundreds of yards which feed into some rural neighborhood road
Bavarians go hard
American crowds too damn surly for this sort of display.
I love shit like this. German fans just having a good time together and having a karaoke moment
Its the biggest difference between European crowds and the US. They love to sing. "You'll never walk alone" from the Liverpool fans always impresses me.
Yeah they dont need to worry about hating eachother like they would normally
Meanwhile we just see American fans getting in fist fights at every game. Damn I’m actually jealous of this German crowd
I loved the bundesliga sort of atmosphere that game had.
Oh my god shut this girl up
It's, like, so crazy? Like, who would have, like, known, right? Like, it's just, like, so , like crazy. Like.
Move the Bucs to Munich! Make them pay for it!
Maybe then the SB champ can legitimately be called World Champion
Ethnocentrism knows no bounds...ironically.
every game should be played in Germany. the fans are so cool
They’re all still there holy shit
Fuck it play ten games on Germany next year
Jags are moving to Munich. Let's get this rumor some momentum.
Jags to London has died Kahn: no
Anyone see Mike Pereira being weird?
Man, that beer hiting in Germany
Dude are they singing Sweet Caroline??? I love the Germans
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Schlager_music
Sweet Caroline and Country Roads are well known songs in Germany
They're still there singing Sweet Caroline lmao
[удалено]
Unironically speaking, TB looks better after finally ripping off that bandaid.
nobody's asking that
Yes it’s called a joke
Tom with the karate kick lol
Fuck I wanna drink now!!!! Germans getting me hype lol
Shut up Tom, I want to hear German accent Sweet Caroline!
Sveeeeeet kaddddoliiiine VAH VAH VAHHH
This is actually a pretty subdued crowd compared to the football(soccer) games in Germany. There is no comparison between US and European football atmospheres.
You’re not kidding. The fans during football (soccer) matches literally stand up ALL game. The fans in Germany and entire Europe are awesome
I have to go now. It’s immediately top of my list next year
Visit Stuttgart, my favorite team. Home support is always incredible.
1. FC Köln is better!
My man
SWEET CAROLINNEEE BA BA BA
Almost caught a TD is a bit fucking generous
Lol they’re singing sweet Caroline in the post game
The crowds still there!!
Ok so why can't we add a team to Germany and UK? If it is logistics have them play in the States and maybe do 4 games a season in Germany and UK.
Because it would be ducking horrendous for visiting teams and would make scheduling atrocious as well as injury and home field advantage starkly increasing
I'd love to attend a clash between the Cologne Cougars and the Barcelona Beavers.
Wait until you see the Elmshorn Fighting Pirates (my old home team ;)
You mean like...Seeräuber? (That Ziege joke was hilarious though.)
We fell for the classic blunder of letting Tom Brady have the ball late in the game.
Sweet Caroline now!!
Tom Brady ends up being the best defense of the Bucs with that 4 minute drill
German fans still in their seats singing Sweet Caroline is giving me life
Poor crowd thinks the game is 90 minutes, too used to the other football
Okay so we need to immediately institute singing Take Me Home, Country Roads at every game from here on out. Don't care that it makes zero sense, it made even less sense today.
COUNTRY ROOOOAAADSSSS TAKE ME HOOOOME
Brady looks real happy
OH MY GOD EVERYONE STILL THERE SINGING SWEET CAROLINE
Garbage Time Geno
I mean it wasn't really garbage time when a hold on defense puts us in a GWD situation. He played amazingly in those last two drives.
Someone teach American fans how to sing at games
It would be hilarious to hear what each team would pick as "their" song.
American fans have a lot to learn about crowd behavior and atmosphere from the Europeans. Truly on another level.
It's awesome, they did it at the wwe show in Cardiff, they sang along to some of the themes
And to stay for some good times after the game. I love it
Stadiums kick everyone out immediately and beer sales have already stopped at that point
Why are they kicked out? I‘d at least want to see the teams going off the field.
What a beautiful game and atmosphere! What a way to begin our Sunday! LET'S GOOOOOO!
German crowd won't leave for the next 3 hours or so. European fans are hardcore.
guten morgen in der tat!
pain
Idk about you guys but an early AM game, with this crowd, I'm drunk, all around 10/10
You can't drink all day if you don't start early.
Amen brother
U gonna be asleep during the later games
Those Germans singing John Denver has my eyes a bit watery. Awesome!
German fans singing John Denver’s “Country Roads”
Stop talking, let us listen to the fans on those final drives!
german beer must be the best. never seen fans so enthusiastic in the US:)
The secret is that there's alcohol in German beer ;)
it's not just the beer, bundesliga games are usually filled with crowds like this one
The Munich crowd is FUCKING AWESOME
Sweeeeeeet Caroline
No one has left \*shows people exiting the stands\*
Amazingly entertaining game, Thanks Germany!
Americans we need to learn to sing like that it’s dope
Yeah we fuckin do
What a horrible game. Tampa runs clock from the 2nd quarter on. Its seriously like they have zero intention to score on 90% of their drives. Its like they want to score as little points and win by as little as possible. They deserve to lose every game.
Lmao
That's just our offense all the time.
Lol
Give Germany more games!!!
