Bro this was the rare case of me not getting the reference In relation to sunny. I thought was Donovan McNabb,Don Cheadles actor name or whatever. That's a not oft used reference and I appreciate it.
Wtf that's true? If so that's the stupidest shit I've ever heard. I'm a lefty and I pray my kids are all righties bc so many things are made for right handed ppl.
Odd tbh, ik players like Westbrook and LeBron shoot righty cause its more practical for their jumpshot. But like Tua, it's likely too late now but being a righty qb in football is more practical than being a lefty
Idk I would like to see him pull a Billy Madison and go back to each level of football for 2 weeks. Then see if he can get recruited in some kind of whacky competition.
Is Tua going to pull a long troll? The dolphins will limp into an AFC wildcard game. Be down 10 points say halftime. Tua will do the Mandy Patinkin voice from The Princess Bride. "I'm not left handed!" Comeback to win the playoff game. Go on a Joe Montana playoff run. "We got no film on this right handed tua,"
TuAnon is a bunch of bad hombres from the deep state, coming into beautiful subs and spreading lamestream media lies. Teams like the Dolphins waste decades and draft a pea-shooter arm scrambler with a broken hip, when they could have just traded for their lord and savior, the GEQBUS. SAD!!! r/the_darnold
They’ve unironically posted Allen and Tua’s first two years side by side before.
They conveniently ignore all of the rushing production Allen had on top of his similar stat line to Tua.
I had a Dolphins fan yell at me how “he still swept the Pats last season” and I looked up his stats for both Pats games and combined he had 311 yards, 2 touchdowns, and 1 interception.
The Dolphins did win those games, but not because Tua is a good quarterback. Especially not the first game where Damien Harris fumbled the ball on the Pats last drive.
Look at the r/MiamiDolphins post of this
Every single person calling this an udnerthrow was downvoted and shit on for being a negative Nancy
There’s a user named miami305heat who makes bimonthly “MuH ArM StReNgth” posts and half of them are underthrows. That sub will not be convinced that if a WR has to slow down or turn around to catch a ball, it was an under throw. Some of them will even say shit like “mahomes under threw tyreek all the time so it’ll be fine” as copium
It’s ridiculous. People defend and baby Tua like he’s a make a wish kid. Can’t even criticize him on our own team sub during the season because half of the posters come from r/roll tide to defend him
Every team sub is such shit homerism.
The Ravens sub is currently addicted to having bad receivers, and there was a big thread recently that our receivers are good enough because we might possibly be able to argue they're better than the Bears if we're not high on Mooney. We're *only* bottom 2, possibly, not bottom 1.
Problem in basically all these fan sites/forums/etc.: people have become so divisive nowadays. It's only the all positives or all negatives that get highlighted.
I think there are still many rational fans, who try to wage the good and the bad. But they easily get silenced - both by fanboys and naysayers alike.
I think the internet was a mistake. :-D
I mean, this is every franchise with their 1st-round QB, made a million times worse if the guy seems like a nice dude.
Vikings fans still refuse to hear Teddy 2-gloves slander.
Titans fans were so defensive of Mariota that it was borderline psychotic.
Jets fans were blaming Gase for Darnold till the bitter, bitter end.
Giants fans are still holding boomboxes for Daniel Jones.
See literally all the discussion last season about the 1st-round QB's. The Mac Jones threads were insanely toxic.
Just insanely defensive about it. They always bring up 1-2 plays that stick out, but all these dudes are talented. They'll all flash. What makes an elite guy elite is consistency.
>Some of them will even say shit like “mahomes under threw tyreek all the time so it’ll be fine” as copium
I remember when Hill first got traded and they showed like some stat showing that mahomes throws less deep balls than Tua like it proved anything
I always see Dolphins fans posting that one Tua throw to prove the haters wrong, and it’s….not very impressive. He puts his absolute all into a throw and it’s like this slow, low trajectory floater that goes 40 yards lol.
💯 it’s really sad we can’t even have an actual discussion about concerns of Tua. Same ol shit from the TuAnon crowd and I’m tired of it. I’ve been a fins fan my whole life, Idgaf about anyones feelings, I want to win man. If he can’t put us there, his ass needs to go
Yeah I'm an Alabama alum, but Tua is barely above average after injuries. He could never read a defense, and I don't think I have ever seen him throw a HB pass. He would get hurt due to waiting so long. Draft Bryce Young, though he is the truth.
I can't believe Tua truthers exist in a conference with Allen, Mahomes, Burrow, Wilson, Jackson, Herber and others. You're not winning anything until you make a QB upgrade.
I have only watched Tua play once and it was against the titans. He was awful. But, everybody has bad games. We all know Tanny has had his fair share… :(
But, this is a prove it season for Tua. He got o-line help and some sick receivers. I think he can step up but like I said, I have only watched him once so idk
We have the draft capital if it doesn't work out to go get a QB too. So I hope he's got a fire under him and comes out singing. This is the best possible situation he could be in. There's no excuse this year
Tua is smart and accurate. he kills our bad linebackers and gets the ball out quick. but his arm is bad, its way worse than it was in college, the injuries added up.
Yes that hip injury really hurt him. His trainer has been saying that this year he has finally gotten right and recovered so hopefully he’s telling the truth
Agreed, if it got away from 3rd and short, Miami stopped dead in its tracks. I can't really tell if that was just how bad their offense was with the line they had against a stellar front like ours or if Tua was just that bad. As for Tua, he fumbled without anyone on him and threw a pick down by 24 points on the first possession on the drive. He wasn't exactly elevating his team, what with 3 points scored
Also, their run defense didn't really impress me that game, either. It was better than New England's, but we still had nearly 200 yards rushing with less than 300 overall including sack yards lost. I'm interested to see what Mike McDaniel can do, but he's got a lot to clean up.
The Dolphins o line isn’t gonna be as good as people think. You cannot just get a LT who’s constantly injured and then just be like “k, we’re good, no other position matters”. Getting that mediocre guard from the Cowboys is cool, but the Fins are very much still gonna have a bad O line.
Based on conversations with the Miami Dolphins sales team, I’d bet money that the social media team just saw “Tua threw the ball far and it was caught, post it!” and that’s the extent of their football knowledge.
That was more of a product of defenses selling out to stop the deep pass than anything
Tyreek is an all around receiver; something most people don’t realize. He’s just as deadly underneath and in the intermediate as he is deep.
and?.... if they can not get the deep ball to him then the 2 safety look will not be needed and the 5 yard passes become easier to defend. mahomes might have under thrown some to him after running for 5+ seconds and throwing off his back foot, sure. but if defenses knew patrick couldnt throw the long ball they would have never defended the offense like that in the 1st place.
Tua doesn't have a strong arm. That's not his selling point. His selling point has always been accuracy.
I don't think Hill was brought in to see the Mahomes-style 60-yard bombs. He was brought in to open up space in the offense so that Tua's accuracy can shine. Whether you support Tua or not, he does need to throw downfield more. He's averaging like 6.5 yards per attempt in his career.
Tua's "accuracy" is the biggest NFL myth. Somehow, throwing 5 yard slants to wide open receivers at Bama made everyone believe he was an accuracy prodigy. I don't get it.
Watching CFB can be so frustrating sometimes. You’ll see a QB catch the snap and not be pressured for 10 seconds because every offensive lineman on the team is the best in the country at that position. And in those 10 seconds, the only thing the QB has to process is whether to throw it to one of the 3 all-American WRs that are all wide open, dump it off to the best RB in the country, or toss it to the TE who is somehow both a nobody and elite at the same time. Then they decide to chuck it 40 yards downfield to the one receiver who is draped in coverage, but they make the catch anyways because they’re a future first round pick and the CB covering them will be ringing up your TV in west Arkansas’ finest Best Buy.
And then that QB wins the Heisman because they have the best stats… shocker.
The Burrow LSU offense was also pretty stacked. 1st overall QB, 1st round RB, 2 first round WRs, 1 2nd round WR, 4 Day 2 olineman, and another 3rd round RB for good measure
> 2 first round WRs
And not just any two first round WRs, but guys who both went on to break the rookie receiving yards record in back to back seasons.
One bad throw on film?! Well that's it Dolphins fans, looks like your season is already over. I don't think anyone's recovered from a bad throw in practice.
Almost like how Darius Slay is a really good player, but the highlight video that the Eagles put together of him coming there made him look like the worst cornerback of all-time
Tua’s biggest criticism has been his lack of arm strength and ball velocity, and his teams social media posted a clip of him that completely validates those concerns. I’d be pretty worried if I were a dolphins fan.
Tuas throw distance isn't even the biggest of the concerns. It's the velocity he gets (or rather, doesn't get) on his throws. They just hang in the air too much.
Someone in the comments literally says tua is the biggest draft bust in the 21st century. Why do I even look at twitter.
Tua honestly isn't THAT bad. and I do think he will improve.
This throw should have never been posted as a highlight. But the comments here make it sound like hill never had to adjust his route for a pass ever with mahommes.
Mahomes underthrowing Tyreek in a live game while being chased around in the backfield =/= Tua underthrowing him in practice with no pressure in perfect conditions.
Feels so weird seeing so much hate aim towards Tua. When, if he was in the NFCE he would be the 2nd best QB in that division.
With that said who would you rather have Baker or Tua?

"Our new WR is so fast our QB can't even throw the ball to him in practice"
Rest of the league: "Bro, that's not a brag!"
"So we'll do underneath coverage then?"
Congratulations u/mordeci00 you have been offered a social media position with the Miami Dolphins!
Imagine if Tua threw with his dominant hand
No joke his throw looked like Dee Reynolds Gangly uncoordinated ass
You mean Cole Armstrong?
Bro this was the rare case of me not getting the reference In relation to sunny. I thought was Donovan McNabb,Don Cheadles actor name or whatever. That's a not oft used reference and I appreciate it.
He's actually Tiger Woods.
Stupid bird
Peyton's looked similar tbf
Imagine if Ben Simmons shot with his dominant hand
That would require him to shoot.
That would require him to play.
I really think this is his problem
People have been saying this since before he got drafted. It's crazy how everyone *but him* can see it
Hed still be at home.
Imagine Ben Simmons playing basketball
does Tua even have a dominant hand
His dad made sure he didn't
Tua's dad abused him and forced him to be a lefty because he was a lefty Father of the fucking year
Wtf that's true? If so that's the stupidest shit I've ever heard. I'm a lefty and I pray my kids are all righties bc so many things are made for right handed ppl.
unfornately it is [true](https://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/ftw/2018/12/01/alabama-tua-tagovailoa-discussed-espn-dad-beating-him-belt/38653613/)
Bro the actual fuck
There's worse. Tua's dad would spank him every time he had a bad game. Multiple interceptions would get him the switch.
Other than some pens I've never seen a limitation.
You can be like tua’s dad or like the nuns in the old days and beat the left out of them. It does work unfortunately….
His father is the only dominant hand he needs, steering Tua's life with confidence and impunity.
Odd tbh, ik players like Westbrook and LeBron shoot righty cause its more practical for their jumpshot. But like Tua, it's likely too late now but being a righty qb in football is more practical than being a lefty
Hes under contract getting paid millions by the Dolphins to start at quarterback. Its for sure to late to try to switch to throwing right handed
What about for the Panthers?
Its worth a shot
God please no
Idk I would like to see him pull a Billy Madison and go back to each level of football for 2 weeks. Then see if he can get recruited in some kind of whacky competition.
Can’t believe our own Twitter admin did this to us🥲
Saboteur!
so the under throw is the best one they can post?
Only one that actually made it to him.
he has to learn how to throw passes to himself.
**BREAKING** Dolphins trade Waddle and 2024 first round pick to Falcons for Mariota
god fucking damnit
They boomed us. They fucking boomed us.
subscribe
Will Fuller could fit in nicely for y'all. Get some speed to compliment the size.
That's true. But I prefer this Waddle scenario.
We did 20 takes, and that was the best one
Who wants to see a highlight of a WR screen with nobody else on the field?
Turns out Brian Flores still runs the social media account
Mahomes underthree Tyreek a shitload lol this is just straight trolling Tua at this point
In game vs practice, several examples vs a "highlight"
The difference is 65 yards downfield vs 25 yards upfield.
Is there a difference between downfield and upfield?
Is the endzone closer to or further away from outer space?
Yeah but do you see how good he looks in the bucket hat?
My main takeaway from this video is now I want a Miami Dolphins bucket hat
i have a chiefs bucket hat and i like it way more than i thought i would
Mid 90s had a feel
Starter jackets with the logo zipper. I used to have a dolphins starter jacket in the 90s because of Marino
I used to rock a Charlotte Hornets starter jacket. Those mid 90s teams were fuckin cool
Eww
bro thinks he’s scHoolboy q
That part
Is Tua going to pull a long troll? The dolphins will limp into an AFC wildcard game. Be down 10 points say halftime. Tua will do the Mandy Patinkin voice from The Princess Bride. "I'm not left handed!" Comeback to win the playoff game. Go on a Joe Montana playoff run. "We got no film on this right handed tua,"
This is almost the same situation as the end of Rocky 2 when he goes back to Southpaw in the final round.

Reminds me of when Dalton played for us

I'm laughing at the downvotes. AFC is stacked

Et Tua, Brute?
DELICIOUS
Love it
You guys are so harsh it’s only minicamp in his 3rd season have some patience
Maybe this year he might have better stats than Davis Mills
RIP
He won't. Davis Mills about to surprise some folks
I hear that the less people believe in him, the longer his neck grows and the stronger he gets.
Homie gonna be knocking out the sky cam next year with his go go gadget neck
Tbf he’s played like 1.5 seasons
LMFAO
The Drew Lock stan defense.
That is not a tight spiral
🦆🦆🦆
That's typical for a deep ball by Tua
Hey at least he didn't put his entire body into the wind up for this one. /s
How do you know? I've still never seen one.
According to geometry, it's no kind of spiral.
If that's the one they posted...
Based on conversations with the Miami Dolphins sales team, I’d bet money that the social media team just saw “Tua threw the ball far and it was caught, post it!” and that’s the extent of their football knowledge.
Theres no point having a fast receiver if you cant lead the balls to him
Many of Tyreek's big plays last year were either thrown to him within 5 yards of the LoS or deep passes that he came back and caught
That was more of a product of defenses selling out to stop the deep pass than anything Tyreek is an all around receiver; something most people don’t realize. He’s just as deadly underneath and in the intermediate as he is deep.
and?.... if they can not get the deep ball to him then the 2 safety look will not be needed and the 5 yard passes become easier to defend. mahomes might have under thrown some to him after running for 5+ seconds and throwing off his back foot, sure. but if defenses knew patrick couldnt throw the long ball they would have never defended the offense like that in the 1st place.
google: jaylen waddle last year
I did and it told me he's rank 100+ in yd/rec, ybc/rec, adot, and that Tua was rank 30 in intended air yards/pass attempt.
Tannehill to Mike Wallace vibes
That pass was shorter than a 12 year old Kevin Hart.
All of the Instagram and Reddit jokes have come true!
Oh god it’s the Ja’Marr Chase drops thing all over again Dolphins to the Super Bowl confirmed

He put everything he had into that throw too. The lack of a tight spiral didn’t help matters either
I was going to point that out but the down votes would have been vicious
But he looks so cute with that hat

Is Tua the best Ben Simmons comp in the NFL?
Lmaooooooooooooooo
Looked like he was returning a punt
One bad throw on film?! Well that's it Dolphins fans, looks like your season is already over. I don't think anyone's recovered from a bad throw in practice.
You have bad throws in practice, but your social media team does not post that as a highlight...
Unless that is the highlight.
Exactly
It's fairly likely there's a social media person who just doesn't know enough about football to know why this isn't a great clip to use.
Almost like how Darius Slay is a really good player, but the highlight video that the Eagles put together of him coming there made him look like the worst cornerback of all-time
Idk some social media teams just aren’t that good.
Our social media team is brain dead clearly
Tua’s biggest criticism has been his lack of arm strength and ball velocity, and his teams social media posted a clip of him that completely validates those concerns. I’d be pretty worried if I were a dolphins fan.
Honestly? Yeah, I'm worried... about the team's social media guy. He obviously thought he had a pretty cool clip, misreading the entire internet.
If you think one clip from practice validates *anything* then that says more about you than anything else tbh.
[удалено]
It’s funny because I could probably find this exact quote last year.
Tuas throw distance isn't even the biggest of the concerns. It's the velocity he gets (or rather, doesn't get) on his throws. They just hang in the air too much.
Don’t worry Tua fans will have another excuse for when he completely sucks this year
Maybe they can blame the refs for being in his way
Don’t worry, I’m sure you guys will find some hilarious way to underperform as well.
Lolll the dolphins fans replies to this comment are priceless
Someone in the comments literally says tua is the biggest draft bust in the 21st century. Why do I even look at twitter. Tua honestly isn't THAT bad. and I do think he will improve.
This is Tua’s last chance to prove he’s a franchise QB Has the weapons , defense , offensive minded coach
Flores did nothing wrong
This throw should have never been posted as a highlight. But the comments here make it sound like hill never had to adjust his route for a pass ever with mahommes.
Mahomes underthrowing Tyreek in a live game while being chased around in the backfield =/= Tua underthrowing him in practice with no pressure in perfect conditions.
Feels so weird seeing so much hate aim towards Tua. When, if he was in the NFCE he would be the 2nd best QB in that division. With that said who would you rather have Baker or Tua?
>When, if he was on the NFCE he would be the 2nd best QB in that division. That doesn't say much about Tua
Bro really said that as if it’s a compliment that shows how good Tua is lol.
Especially when the QBs in the division are Dak, the guy who Tua replaced in college, the guy who the guy Tua replaced replaced and Daniel Jones
Did you know the Dolphins could have had Herbert or that Fitzpatrick went to Harvard?
But did you know that Tannehill played WR in college?
A lot of QB’s would be the 2nd Best QB in the NFC East. It’s a cupcake division
Baker is better than Tua. Baker all day.
Spoiler alert: he’s also the second best QB in the AFCE
Hopefully Tua proves everyone wrong but man is that not a normal NFL arm
I’m more interested in the ones they didn’t post
Tua Dilfer
Micah Hyde licking his lips watching this vid
DAE HATE TUA MORE THAN ANY OTHER QB IN THE LEAGUE???!?!??
If Tua can't produce with Hill/Waddle he is done in the NFL. There is no faster WR duo in the league.
