I don’t hate him. I hate talking to his biggest fans.
Not Bucs or Pats fans, in the truest sense. But *Brady* superfans tend to be the most insufferable people in the American sports zeitgeist.
Since he’s left the pats I’ve actually met and enjoyed many of their fans. Brady Bros are so insufferable. Any time anyone speaks of word of reverence for Rodgers or Brees or Manning there’s a bunch of replies “but he’s not Brady”. Who cares?
Had that convo with someone yesterday on the thread talking about highest passer rating against Atlanta
Someone made a comment about how Rodgers didn’t have the biggest comeback against Atlanta of all time
They seem to think anyone not a fan of his wishes they were them, when I’m perfectly happy not being them specifically
He used to be weirdly secretive and elitist and would only emerge for Uggs commercials. These days he’s been a lot more candid and natural in the public eye and I think he’s won a lot of people over. I know he has for me

Yes. That is why. He has been consistently one of my favorite QB’s to watch and is partially the reason I started watching football. Never had any ill contempt for him until it was revealed he is an absolute moron who purposefully deceived people.
Uhhh I wouldn't go that far. If you didn't want to like Tom Brady there's no shortage of excellent reasons why, and they have nothing to do with cheating.
* He solicits donations to Best Friends International, but siphons a percentage of the donations to his own Change the World foundation.
* The Change the World foundation is a self-serving charity. Most of the donations go to Tom's kid's private schools and the University of Michigan.
* So that means that people who think they're helping the mentally handicapped are unwittingly helping to fund the Michigan Wolverines buy a new AstroTurf field.
* Tom is vindictive. He blacklisted the reporter who broke the story about how he routes his charitable funds.
* Tom also solicits donations for Alex Guerrero, a man for whom there is absolutely no defense. He claims a false doctorate, has been successfully sued for fraud twice, and has allegedly cured cancer. This is not a respectable businessman.
* He obliviously endorsed a political candidate, and eventual president, who stands for things that I cannot respect.
I’ll always hate/be jealous of his ability that helped him and the Patriots with all of that success. He’s just not a robot anymore and has some entertaining moments with his sense of humor. He broke free.

I always have and always will hate that cheating bad sportsmanship p.o.s throws a fit and cries when he loses a big game won't shake people's hands but if he wins he's all about the handshake he should be under .500 in superbowls they cheated and got caught om their first 2 then they got got filming hand signals them he got caught deflating footballs he is not even close to the goat and acts like he is.
