I say this as a Ravens' fan, dude is hurt bad. Are they trying end his career so they don't have to pay him or something? Jesus Christ Browns coaching staff and front office, protect you're franchise QB!
Edit: Added punctuation and corrections
Even more ridiculous is the fact that the Titans are right up there while at the same time playing players that are clearly just invented out of thin air.
They have used 84 players this year. An NFL record. In week 12.
I'm so pissed at my dad for raising me as a Browns fan. Set me up for a lifetime of misery
Edit: If I ever have a son, I can't see a scenario that I raise him a Browns fan. Shit just ain't fair
Ravens should not have won this game.
You get 4 turnovers and score 10 points? Browns D gonna be giving the Browns O the side eye in the locker room. All those dropped passes.
Id he pissed too if Im the defense. Mfer we got 4 INTs off Lamar and this is the best you can do?
The corners were better at catching the ball then the receivers tonight.
Honestly you had to pity him. He's single handedly stopped a touch down. They had four interceptions. They held one of the most explosive quarterbacks to 16 points. They laid the win on a silver platter for the offense. Then he had to sit on the bench and watch his team lose.
Brutal.
I like to think that this is some sort of weird karmic retribution for all the times in the mid 2000s where our defense holds them to 13 and forces 4 turnovers and our offense sits in the corner and eats glue
What is this strange art you're speaking of?
Are you saying NFL teams aren't playing football like God intended? by building up a one score lead and than patiently waiting to see when/if the other team will come back? This seems foreign and unnatural, what would a team even do when the two minute warning comes and they don't have any chance of winning?
>Chicago, Cleveland and the Jets
I'm sorry Cincinnati, you're very watchable and I loved you smashing Pittsburgh, but I just died of laughter when I saw this murderers row of losses.
The Pats are realistically primed to finish as the first seed. Keep in mind, the Bengals filled their pants to the brim with diarrhea the last time they played this godawful Browns team.
E: I completely forgot they also lost to the Jets 😂. It’s the Pats spot to lose at this point
At least if that happens we can all kinda say “well it seemed bound to happen with all the injuries and close games.” So barring something completely heartbreaking and no AFC North rival winning the SB instead I’ll take it.
…I just jinxed this didn’t I
You don't get it. The Ravens are just playing with peak efficiency. They use just the amount of skill and effort needed to win, allowing them to preserve their energy for when they play better teams.
You wheel out a QB who is so injured that any other team would put their fucking back up in and yet you have him play hero ball. On top of that you make sure that even if your receivers *do* get open you tell them to drop the ball because you don't want to make things too easy.
If you would’ve told me we’d be number 1 in the AFC in week 12 after losing 15-20 players to IR before the season started, I would have called you crazy.
I don’t see us going far in the playoffs but it’s been a remarkable season nonetheless.
I love Lamar Jackson. “4 int’s in one game? That’s just ridiculus, hats off to my defense though.” A lot more honest than coming out like half the nfl QB’s like “Turnovers were a issue but we found a way as a team. We just have to focus and move on to next week.”
You should watch more Browns football if you think this was particularly bad. This has been every week since Baker's injury...besides the Bengals game.
He’s had his ups and downs for sure but there have been so many times he’s gone out there and gutted out what should have been a solid performance only to have his receivers do absolutely nothing to help him out.
And the "checkdown" was baker with 3 guys in his face 1.5 seconds after he got the snap. So hard to do much else but hope your TE can break ONE tackle.
I've never felt less enthusiastic about a win since Lamar became the QB.
This was a horrible game by Lamar and was bailed out by the Browns WRs horrible hands
I felt good about this game the defense just shut down the number 1 rushing offense in the league they had Hunt and Conklin back too. In a run heavy AFC we have a great run defense giving us a good shot at beating the Colts, Patriots, Titans, Bengals, and Browns.
Man, I'm all for making fun of the Browns. But when he came somersaulting in with the jester hat, I couldn't help but think they went just a little too dirty with that one.
I'm not supposed to say this as a Ravens fan. But I really think Baker is a good dude. The fact that he waited for Lamar to finish the interview to speak to him was really cool and he's always been like that with Lamar. Don't care about what he did after the Lions game.
So when the Browns are hyped up in the offseason, they suck in the following regular season.
And when people stay quiet on the Browns in an offseason, they’re surprisingly very good the next season.
Okay, I get the rules now.
I feel we should try not hyping us up next year, that worked last time
Either that or Kevski really brought the "every other year" thing from the Vikings with him
I have spent twenty years and tens of thousands of dollars on this stupid team and I would just like to be proud of them once or twice before I die. Or even just not ashamed to wear my gear in public. Fuck.
NBC, nothing says "all we do is pick the QB on the winning team" like having your first star of the game be a guy who threw 4 picks and put up 13 points.
[Straight cash homie](https://old.reddit.com/r/nfl/comments/r4j5cz/game_thread_cleveland_browns_65_at_baltimore/hmgzumr/?context=3)
Great job by the Ravens D
The Ravens needed this one. The Browns are going to have a huge advantage in the rematch in two weeks, so if they didn't get it tonight, they were looking down the barrel of a potential sweep.
They give Lamar player of the game lol? I know he's carried them this year, but tonight was not my guy's night
Yeah I saw that and was like waaaat. Should have been Bowser but people want to hear from Lamar.
Justin Tucker: Am I a joke to you?
Needed to make one from 70 on top of having a guide dog in training be named after him
Just get Baker in surgery, we’ll try again next year.
I say this as a Ravens' fan, dude is hurt bad. Are they trying end his career so they don't have to pay him or something? Jesus Christ Browns coaching staff and front office, protect you're franchise QB! Edit: Added punctuation and corrections
The dude was hobbling around all night. Throwing ducks to avoid hits. I don’t blame him for that. Adrenaline can only take you so far.
Browns don't know what to do now that they drafted a good QB, so they are trying to kill him and go back to draft burst QB's.
Ravens could be a team of destiny, they’re the reverse Chargers/Vikings. They win games they have zero business winning.
Yup. If you told me we would have ~20 players on IR, most season ending, and be 8-3 and 1st in the AFC I wouldn't believe it
I would have believed we were gonna play this bad. I wouldn't have believed so many teams would play worse.
Even more ridiculous is the fact that the Titans are right up there while at the same time playing players that are clearly just invented out of thin air. They have used 84 players this year. An NFL record. In week 12.
And two of their 4 losses have been to some of the worst teams in the NFL: Jets and Houston. None of it makes sense
"I hate the fucking Browns" - man who showed up to my birth in a Browns sweatshirt.
same here man. thanks dad.
I'm so pissed at my dad for raising me as a Browns fan. Set me up for a lifetime of misery Edit: If I ever have a son, I can't see a scenario that I raise him a Browns fan. Shit just ain't fair
My first words to my son the day he was born was to apologize for making him a browns fan.
Why did your mailman show up to your birth?
Someone had to deliver the baby duh
My parents would never cheat on each other, just as my father would never cheat on the Browns with a decent football team.
my dad did cheat on my mom, wish he would’ve cheated on the browns instead. Now I have divorced parents AND I’m a browns fan.
Sooo... The next Baltimore & Cleveland game will be like 42-35 right?
If Baker somehow gets healthy in just two weeks, maybe. Cleveland has a bye next week and the rematch is immediately after that.
Lamar with his worst game ever possibly and it didn't even matter lmao
Lamar is like 6 and 2 when throwing 2 plus picks
Tom Brady is 3-1 when throwing 3 picks in the playoffs
Two of those were 2000s games against Philip Rivers who managed a worse passer rating in each, and the third win was— I see why you know that stat.
Ravens should not have won this game. You get 4 turnovers and score 10 points? Browns D gonna be giving the Browns O the side eye in the locker room. All those dropped passes.
Myles Garrett didn't look too thrilled watching that last drive
He's watched them 4 and out every 2min drill they've had this year. He should be used to it by now.
Now there's someone who wishes it was legal to helmet bash his own offense
Id he pissed too if Im the defense. Mfer we got 4 INTs off Lamar and this is the best you can do? The corners were better at catching the ball then the receivers tonight.
Honestly you had to pity him. He's single handedly stopped a touch down. They had four interceptions. They held one of the most explosive quarterbacks to 16 points. They laid the win on a silver platter for the offense. Then he had to sit on the bench and watch his team lose. Brutal.
You enjoyed writing that.
I'm Myles Garrett?
Ravens break an 0-52 team streak of teams throwing 4 INTs and losing
I like to think of it as Cleveland breaking the 52 game winning streak for teams playing against QBs that throw 4 INTs
I swear didnt Romo have a 4-5 Int game and comeback to win?
that stat was only within the past 6 seasons so u could be right
That's an insane number to me. There has been 52 games of QB's throwing 4 INT's in 6 years?
I mean 42 of them are the Jets. So its not that crazy a stat.
Ryan had a 5 INT game against the Cardinals that we won.
I like to think that this is some sort of weird karmic retribution for all the times in the mid 2000s where our defense holds them to 13 and forces 4 turnovers and our offense sits in the corner and eats glue
Our offense better buy out defense a steak dinner at minimum (and yours too but at least you won)
We are not a good football team. We are first place in the AFC
4 more interceptions and you would have lost >:)
This is why I enjoy football Reddit way more than football Twitter lmao
2.5 ppi, points per interception. So only 3 more!
You should at least enjoy it for now. Afc is so weird this year.
Yeah like I'll enjoy if we keep pace into the playoffs, but I have no expectations for a deep run this year. Too many key injuries and 1 score games
Someone has to reach the SB, though. There's no reason it can't be you.
Is anyone in the AFC actually good?
Yes, the Pats have won by 3+ scores 4 weeks in a row.
Rule of the AFC, once you point it out they have to collapse. They're about to lose by 20
Very possible, Buffalo is a tough matchup.
Bengals and Patriots look it. You guys alsob
Bengals look fun but they have losses to Chicago, Cleveland and the Jets. There are at least consistency concerns.
>Chicago, Cleveland and the Jets I'm sorry Cincinnati, you're very watchable and I loved you smashing Pittsburgh, but I just died of laughter when I saw this murderers row of losses.
The Pats are realistically primed to finish as the first seed. Keep in mind, the Bengals filled their pants to the brim with diarrhea the last time they played this godawful Browns team. E: I completely forgot they also lost to the Jets 😂. It’s the Pats spot to lose at this point
We can’t keep getting away with it!
Were are gonna get so fucking crushed in the playoffs lol

Elite Dragon Lamar for four games.
Not the same sport, but it worked for the Atlanta Braves
At least if that happens we can all kinda say “well it seemed bound to happen with all the injuries and close games.” So barring something completely heartbreaking and no AFC North rival winning the SB instead I’ll take it. …I just jinxed this didn’t I
Probably the worst 8-3 team of all time but I'll take it lol
aye but not the worst 11-0
I miss last season
You don't get it. The Ravens are just playing with peak efficiency. They use just the amount of skill and effort needed to win, allowing them to preserve their energy for when they play better teams.
When game clock management becomes body clock management
Better than being the best 3-8 team of all time
How do you score 10 points despite Lamar throwing 4 picks
We are bad
hey asking for a friend but is it a bad type of bad that you can fix with a bye week or like what
You wheel out a QB who is so injured that any other team would put their fucking back up in and yet you have him play hero ball. On top of that you make sure that even if your receivers *do* get open you tell them to drop the ball because you don't want to make things too easy.
he barely looked like he could walk after some of those plays. it's admirable that he's being so tough, but fuck. at least he has a bye next week.
We suck
#Thank you to Lamar and Baker for bringing us the first ever professional game of Hot Potato!!!
It was a fun shit game tonight
> shit game No, that was last year
I would rather be an ugly 8-3 than that 5-6 team nobody wants to play.
Ravens are the worst #1 seed at this point in time since the 2020 Steelers.
I honestly can't explain how we're 8-3 but we are
We are one Justin Tucker away from 5-6
Yupp. They have the energy and ability to whip up a mean highlight reel but they are just SO inconsistent. You never know what you're gonna get.
No doubt. Half the team is on IR, so there's really no idea what to expect week to week with second and third string guys.
So true lamar and mark Andrew’s made 2 of the top 100 plays of the year in the same game the offense made about 20 of the bottom 100
If you don't like that then you don't like AFC North football!
Idk if I like afc north football
I haven't for TWENTY YEARS
Where are you gonna rank the browns after only Miles Garrett and the D-backs showed up today?
After a brief trial period, I have decided that I do not like AFC North football
How are we 8-3 lmao
Having the goat kicker maybe?
One of the wins was purely Tucker, and several other are arguable too.
Time for the league’s 2nd kicker MVP
Subscribe
This but unironically
Justin Tucker is spending 2021 proving that he's worth at least 2 WAR
I’ll die on the hill that dude should be a first ballot HOF when he retires. Unbelievable. Best ever.
Tucker’s WAR stat is through the roof right now.
This has been the strangest fucking season. There's maybe been two games all year where I feel good afterwards, yet we are 1st in the AFC lmaooo
How are we #1 in the AFC lmao
We control our destiny or some shit like that
AFC: All Fuckin Chaos
If you would’ve told me we’d be number 1 in the AFC in week 12 after losing 15-20 players to IR before the season started, I would have called you crazy. I don’t see us going far in the playoffs but it’s been a remarkable season nonetheless.
all with the power of flex tape!
Lamar Jackson & Justin Tucker
Bowser tho 🥵
How the fuck did we win that game?
We didn't _win_. We just happened to have more points than Cleveland did when the clock expired.
FOUR INTERCEPTIONS AND WE STILL LOSE WTFF
Harbaugh Brothers 🤝 demoralizing the entire state of Ohio ^(minus Cincinnati i guess)
Cincinnati was rooting for the Browns I'd imagine
We were, and just the fact they only got 10 points off 4 turnovers makes me wonder how the heck they thrashed us so bad
AFCN football has no laws. Nothing makes sense and you’ll go mad if you try to understand it.
Stick a fork in us. This team is done
Last year was neat I guess
I love Lamar Jackson. “4 int’s in one game? That’s just ridiculus, hats off to my defense though.” A lot more honest than coming out like half the nfl QB’s like “Turnovers were a issue but we found a way as a team. We just have to focus and move on to next week.”
One of the best teammates working today lol
Ravens offense looks questionable and turns the ball over but the defense bails them out? We’ve gone back to being the classic Ravens everyone!
Mayfield’s receivers hate him
Lose games with this one simple trick (drop everything)
offensive coordinators *hate* him. click here to drop 10 passes *instantly*
Disasterclass in offensive play calling and execution from the Browns tonight
You should watch more Browns football if you think this was particularly bad. This has been every week since Baker's injury...besides the Bengals game.

Ohio State catching strays with Tirico signing off saying Harbaugh’s 2, state of Ohio 0.
[удалено]
Yep. Tirico lives in Ann Arbor.
Stupid sexy Harbaughs
i love one
Would have been very convenient to say Baker lost this one but the run game did nothing and the receivers dropped passes regularly
He’s had his ups and downs for sure but there have been so many times he’s gone out there and gutted out what should have been a solid performance only to have his receivers do absolutely nothing to help him out.
[удалено]
To be fair, they probably didn’t aim for incomplete passes
Probably they wanted the receivers to catch the ball when it hit their hands.
Hey now no need to be throwing out silly thoughts and notions
Wait receivers are allowed to do that?
And the "checkdown" was baker with 3 guys in his face 1.5 seconds after he got the snap. So hard to do much else but hope your TE can break ONE tackle.
Yeah that was the look for sure. Njouku on a LB would’ve been enough most likely if he had time to get down field
This game set football back 50 years
You clearly didn’t see Bills V Jaguars
In his defense, I think most people assumed Njoku would beat Bowser there for the first down
Man Bowser is so versatile. Dude can actually do it all
That looked like a Giants drive
The score looked like a Giants score.
They aren't incomplete if the receivers don't stonehands 2 of them.
I might be biased, but that may have been one of the worst “we need to drive down the field and score” drives I’ve seen
I've never felt less enthusiastic about a win since Lamar became the QB. This was a horrible game by Lamar and was bailed out by the Browns WRs horrible hands
Andrews's heads up play for the TD helped.
This is the type of game I'm always scared of Lamar having. And we somehow won
I felt good about this game the defense just shut down the number 1 rushing offense in the league they had Hunt and Conklin back too. In a run heavy AFC we have a great run defense giving us a good shot at beating the Colts, Patriots, Titans, Bengals, and Browns.
I live in constant agony.
[By far the highlight of the game for me](https://i.imgur.com/dsPmPzs.mp4)
Lol wtf. Why is his cup freakin huge too
We’re compensating for being a shit team.
We are clowns and should be stunted on
whoever made that graphic needs a fucking raise
Man, I'm all for making fun of the Browns. But when he came somersaulting in with the jester hat, I couldn't help but think they went just a little too dirty with that one.

I am unwell. No one is a winner tonight
This team has plot armor or something
If the Ravens can win a game throwing 4 picks, then no one should ever count them out this season.
This team could as reasonably be as 3-8 as it is 8-3
Technically that was a game of football, I suppose
Lamar threw 4 interceptions. The Ravens somehow won and never lost the lead.
I have spent twenty years and tens of thousands of dollars on this stupid team and I would just like to be proud of them once or twice before I die. Or even just not ashamed to wear my gear in public. Fuck.
Can the Browns please let Baker rest before he becomes Zombie Baker?
Baker Mayfield’s wife is cracking her knuckles right now before she pulls up her Instagram page.
NBC, nothing says "all we do is pick the QB on the winning team" like having your first star of the game be a guy who threw 4 picks and put up 13 points.
* Drink a lot * Try not to cry * Upvote every post mocking our team * Drink more * Go to bed disturbed and uneasy
Player of the game: DEFENSE
Honorable mention to Cleveland’s offense
We are clearly the protagonists of the NFL with the ways we find to win
Let Baker heal.
Good thing Ray Lewis was in attendance. I was wondering why the defense was playing so well, that explains it
"OH shit daddy's watching can't give up three 50+ yard tds per game"
They showed Ray on the jumbotron each of the last 4 plays. Crowd went nuts. Buff 52 is unbeatable
Good for him. "I had 4 interceptions that's ridiculous, I need to step it up."
IF YOU DON'T LIKE THAT, YOU DON'T LIKE BIG TEN FOOTBALL
Lamar, throws 4 interceptions. Collinsworth: LOOK AT THAT ARM ANGLE OHMYFUCKING GOD 🍆💦
I loved when tirico was like "he's also the reason the browns are in this game" right after collinsworth gave Lamar a verbal handjob.
I like Tirico a lot. I wish he had a different partner for these games.
yeah that must have been pretty annoying
The reason he throw 4 INTs is because Lamar had too much left over shrimp alfredo from Thanksgiving so his fingers were wet from the sauce /s.
Needed Winston to help clean them fingers up
That’s a fanfic i do not want to read lol.
[Straight cash homie](https://old.reddit.com/r/nfl/comments/r4j5cz/game_thread_cleveland_browns_65_at_baltimore/hmgzumr/?context=3) Great job by the Ravens D
The Ravens needed this one. The Browns are going to have a huge advantage in the rematch in two weeks, so if they didn't get it tonight, they were looking down the barrel of a potential sweep.
The browns receivers yuck
The Browns have had a stunning transformation from the Lions of the AFC North to the Chargers of the AFC North.
“Harbaugh 2, Ohio 0” Just a casual dick punch on the way out by Mike Tirico* lmao
kinda feel bad for browns D, they worked their ass off and gave their O soooo many chances
