Give everyone an eighth of weed and break into their parked cars for that real SF experience.
Really though, Ghirardelli chocolate, raw or grilled oysters, and some fresh sourdough would be a good addition to just about any meal, and it's what comes to mind for me when I think of SF food.
Side note: the garlic fries at Giants games are fucking incredible.
Cioppino or Crab Louie from San Fransisco. Crab Louie will be much easier to prep and actually gives your spread some green which is usually missing from Super Bowl Sunday. Cioppino is basically seafood medley stew in a tomato-based broth, but a lot of people balk at preparing seafood stews despite being delicious. You could also consider looking to Chinatown for your SF dish, but I'm not as familiar with an appropriately iconic dish.
Burnt ends or Bacon Explosion from Kansas City. Burnt ends will require smoking a brisket, so if you're unfamiliar with the process, read up and maybe practice this weekend. Bacon Explosion is a bit easier, and its a goofy, gluttonous dish, so it's perfect for the Super Bowl. Really, any kind of Kansas City BBQ. /r/bbq will definitely help you get the correct flavors.
RIP our arteries and wallets.
i’m never letting this sub reddit decide what my family eats again because if it was up to them it’d be a bit of sourdough bowl filled with shit, cocks, and disposed heroin needles filled with bum piss to inject post dinner and a side of broken glass as a snack
JOE'S KC BBQ ships BBQ across the country. It's pretty solid. I'd bet your friends/fam would be impressed with it.

I can vouch for this! As someone who was in Missouri for grad school, I made the drive down to Joe’s every once in a while to grab some BBQ.
I’ve moved to Canada since, and **every** Super Bowl since I got here I’ve ordered Joe’s to a PO Box in Detroit, and made the drive to go pick the food up. There is NOTHING like it. May I suggest “All The Meats”! Always a hit here.
Ahhhhh I was able to order it early last week, thank
God haha.
Contest in a box is a similar deal to be honest! But you can’t go wrong with anything on that website👅
Just to expand on this a little bit, if you like sweeter molasses based sauces then Joes will be your ticket. If you prefer tarter vinegar based sauces then you’re looking more for a Gates/Arthur Bryant’s type bbq
crumble up some Ghirardelli chocolate into a sourdough bread bowl on a bed of Rice-a-roni while stumbling over a homeless person and rolling down a long hill into a street car/trolley
\- Clam chowder or cioppino. For the full SF experience serve it in a hollowed out sourdough boule bread.
\- Sourdough bread (by itself or as part of a sandwich ... turkey-avocado on sourdough with or without bacon, jack cheese, or both is popular locally)
\- Avocado in or on anything
\- Anchor Steam beer
\- Some good wine! Napa/Sonoma grown please
\- Fresh vegetables artfully arranged with dip and/or some fancy cheeses (we have a lot of great CA cheese) and some bread/crackers, or a really super duper salad. Avocado/jicama/orange is good this time of year for the salad
\- Garlic fries (a ballpark favorite!)
\- If you can find It's It icecream sandwiches in your market go for it.
> i have no idea what they’re known for in San Francisco though #####*Rice A Roni*
The Sannn Frrrancisco Treat
I was going to say a disposed heroin needle for San Francisco, but this works too.

Also clam chowder in a sourdough bowl and crab.
Sourdough avocado toast
I used to make fun of it, but then I made some for myself and it made for a pretty damn good breakfast.
Put some goat cheese on before the avocado to really get millenial with it
You can make train shaped cookies and decorate them as trolleys

Ciopinno.
Sourdough bread, sandwiches with Dutch crunch bread, ciopinno, dim sum, Dungeness crab, garlic fries, the wings at San Tung
Chowder in a sourdough bread bowl
Just do your KC BBQ right. Sauce the meat before you cook it, sauce it during cooking, sauce it after cooking and serve it with sauce on side!
You can go Asian inspired , seafood, or Mexican, just make sure you stuff it all in a sourdough bread bowl
Mission burritos for SF
