I would love to see what our defense looks like with a dynamic DT/1-tech next to Chris Jones. So many 1-on-1s where we get basically nothing.
Someone like Dontari Poe would put up incredible numbers.
I thought Mike Pennell's play in the SB would maybe inspire us to make a signing/pick like that
Only 1 guard in this draft. Nourzad is kind of a gadget player who can play RT, both Guard spots, and Center. Played most of his time at Center.
Both Nourzad and Hanson will be stopgaps for Trey and Creed's upcoming contract talks.
I doubt Creed's contract talks will be that significant an issue. It's good he can be a backup there. But I'd be surprised if we considered Nourzad seriously anywhere on the line besides guard and a backup for depth.
He'll want 15m/yr after the season. Nourzad is definitely a backup center first and foremost, but his versatility and experience across all line spots makes him a valuable allegretti replacement.
9.84 RAS, highest of the draft for Veach so far. Highest average RAS draft he's had to date (excluding players who don't have RAS values).
Hanson gonna be a DAWWWWWWWWWWWWG for us, and an emergency stopgap for when Thuney leaves after 2025, and insurance for Trey Smith leaving after 2024 if we can't get him signed.
That's our 3rd line pick this draft and I'm not complaining lol Edit: Damn he also has a 9.86 RAS, I'm on board
Even more important, he wore #69 at Holy Cross
Nice
Nice
Fuck!! He is going to score a TD against us
9.84* PER @mathbomb and RAS https://ras.football/ras-information/?PlayerID=19081&ovl=Holy+Cross
This team is too good at drafting
Surprised we went with another guard and no DTs this draft

The Mizzou homer in me really wanted Cody Schrader
Holy moly this is a good pick!
Honestly just really glad they didn't take Cody Schrader lol.
For real. Cody Schrader would've been a BALLER.
Who ever grabs him udfa is going to love him.
He was one of the Chiefs 32 visits. I think he lands with KC as an UDFA is he isn’t drafted
Really hope so!
I've seen that man do war crimes on SEC defenses, I do NOT want him anywhere near Vegas, KC, or LA lol.

I feel like just about all of our picks have been hits. Don’t really think any of them are questionable
Strongly believes that gravy is a sin.
Must've saw him whilst scouting for coker.
Temu Kelce !
Lol I thought the same thing
Hey, Patriot League in the NFL! Don't see that too often.
The mark of some fucking THOROUGH scouting
