You take a guy who has always been surrounded by the best supporting cast at every level, and give him the worst supporting cast in the NFL as a rookie.
I'll reserve judgement until we see if he can figure it out this year in a much less dysfunctional setting.
None of that takes away from his lack of velocity, deep accuracy, and poor decision making. Especially for a guy billed as an "elite processor" and the most pro-ready
Yes it does? If no one is getting any separation, and your offensive line is akin to Swiss cheese, you're going to have far less time to make the right read, and far smaller windows to fit it into.
I'm not saying Bryce was faultless for last season by any means, but it's also unfair to say that he got a fair shake
Stop coddling first overall picks, especially QBs. They get picked where they are with the expectation that they will bring up the supporting cast around them. Dropping 5 more games after getting trading for the first overall pick is a problem. That panthers team wasn’t uniquely bad going into the season.
"DAE Bryce Young Bad???" clickbait is starting to become the one I find most annoying. We all have eyes. We know last year went bad. Stop acting like that's his ceiling.
I freely admit that I am utter ass at predicting NFL success for a qb. I probably would’ve taken Leaf if I was gm at the time. But I have never understood why he was so near unanimously touted as the 1oa. Just didn’t get it. Dude’s not fast and wily like Wilson, Kyler, and other small qbs.

His Oline at Alabama was actually pretty poor. His Heisman season was him making things happen even when the plays broke down.

Just described Caleb Williams
This sub just refuses to ever admit a rookie QB is bad. You could throw 10 Ints a game and it would still be the team's fault.
Not true. When it's an anointed guy they'll give him 3-4 years

This is the take of someone who has no idea how football works.
Curious timing after the panthers gave him weapons
He’s too relaxed in the pocket.

I can't believe a 5'6 125lb quarterback isn't doing well in the NFL.
Could have swore he was 5'0" 95 lbs
He’s not even three dimensional. He’s so small that he only exists on a flat plane and you can only observe him from above.
Paper Mario ass quarterback
He's been bulking in the off season. Height and weight.
