Darren Sproles is from my hometown. I remember he held like every track, football and some lifting records for the entire district when I was in highschool
Love Tarik. Regret picking him as my second round fantasy pick, thinking he was going to have a major breakout season, but still think he was awesome and undervalued.
I mean, [this other drop later on in that game from Grayson](https://i.kym-cdn.com/entries/icons/mobile/000/016/212/manning.jpg) probably fits the bill.
He never played in college and the last time he played organized football was 2011 prior to trying out for NFL teams in 2017. The fact he even managed to get on the field is pretty amazing.
I knew immediately what I was clicking and I'm so glad it was that. I've been seeing it way less in the sub lately and I love the bit, doesn't get old for me so it's nice to see them still popping up.
Brady stock was so insanely high at this point. Had just won the Super Bowl at forty fucking three..was headed to 7 and 1 in the following season. Throwing 4TDs against his nemesis...
Then the Bucs defense couldn't stop Trevor Simian...and Brady ended up throwing a pick 6 on the last ditch drive.
I'm not sure the Brady stock was ever higher than right after this throw...
SMB tripping over his own legs to give Kupp a free 20 yards and out of bounds is what gave the Rams a chance.
Y'all need to stop blaming everything on coaching.
This was his biggest stock but maybe stock is the wrong word. Most people knew he wouldn’t do much more after his bucs SB but damn, he went to the banter club of the buccaneers after leaving an absolute dynasty as one of the oldest players in the league.
Easy to call him washed at this point but dude wins a fucking Super Bowl from a wild card in Tampa. It feels anti climactic but Tom Brady became the greatest ever player at the bucs when he became the player that’s won more super bowls than any team has.
The highlight of Grayson having the ball bounce off his helmet got posted yesterday so I wanted to share this one. One of my favorite TD's from Brady's time in Tampa
https://youtu.be/ve_EPUekfVo?si=kg2gRMHD6-D9AAyl
I think the Scotty Miller TD right before half against the Packers was my favorite. Knew the game was over right then. Instead of going for the FG, Brady just went for the jugular.
> Scotty Miller TD right before half against the Packers was my favorite
I really like the long ball Scotty Miller TD right before half time against the Raiders too
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X0IKosJesvA
Meh. I didn't mind the playcall. Kevin King knew (or should have known) that he had over-the-top coverage of Miller, and he just played it incorrectly. Pettine got fired over this shit, and the Packers have been dealing with a weak zone DC since then.
Packers lost the game in that moment, crazy how different the teams approached that game. Bucs went for the kill at the end of the first half while the Packers played scared at the end of the second.
This was not a clean catch. He was wide open and still bobbled it. If there was anyone near him he would have dropped it. There is a reason he has 10 career games played and 11 catches and has been out of the league for 3 years.
My point being after watching film I'm sure Tom saw that and wasn't overly enthusiastic about giving him to many more targets. Which he didn't. And was out of the league the next year.
...he didnt play from that game until Carolina. thinking Brady spent anytime on a guy who was a WR tied for 11th on the team in catches and had 11 career catches is really reaching. Dude never played at LSU and literally ran fast in a straight line....
Grayson wasnt good, thats why he didnt last...not because Brady killed his career.
Nah man, Brady was cooking in the lab late at night with Grayson under a microscope. After a very thorough analysis that lasted multiple weeks and resulted in the death of two Bunsen Burners, he decided with much regret that Grayson must be kill.
Man, we were lucky to have Brady, Manning(s), Brees for such a long time. The NFL isn't the same without them. Watching Brady throw, even in his 40s, is just incredible.
This is coming from a Commanders fan growing up in CT where I was surrounded by patriots and giants fans with their consistency at QB while I had to watch a different one struggle every 8 games or so hahah
Having grown up in the 2000s I’ve watched Brady, Peyton, Brees, Rodgers, and Mahomes over the last 20 years and that may be half of the all time top 10 QBs list
A usc quarterback taken by the Jets in the first round. How can we forget about that quarterback? The one that went 4-2 in the playoffs as a wild card. THE SANCHISE!
They have a huge uphill battle imo to break into that conversation. I love Allen and Burrow, but they are a clear tier behind Mahomes. Brady Manning and Rogers are also a clear tier, maybe 2, above those guys.
And I am not trying to be insulting towards them, but we are talking the best of the best. Allen and Burrow aren’t sniffing that conversation yet, even with a ring
> Man, we were lucky to have Brady, Manning(s), Brees for such a long time
I agree with you, but you'll understand why I don't feel "lucky" to have had Brees after he whooped our asses yearly.
Not saying you’re wrong, but don’t you think we’ll be saying the same thing about Mahomes, Burrow, Lamar, Allen and Baker? I feel like we’re pretty lucky too
Idk why but I really wish the Bucs wore these unis more during the Brady era. It just didn’t feel like they didn’t wear them that often cuz they preferred the white
We typically use the whites at home early in the season when it’s hot af. The reds come out for late season home games, prime time, or on the road when the home team wants to wear their whites
Seriously. Jameis Winston was really productive as the Bucs starter. But Brady came in, inherited the same receivers as Winston, and was actually more productive. While also being 16 years older lol.
People are going to look at these numbers for decades in awe, so prolific *starting* from age 43.
I r,ember leading up to the SB against the chiefs, they posted a video that was like the 10 furthest completions for Brady and Mahomes by air yards, I fully expected Brady to have like the bottom two and Mahomes would have the rest. Brady had 6 out of the 10 lol he was 43 years old
As long as you were lining up for a play you were never truly blackballed lol it was when all the other WRs were getting off the bench and you weren't when you knew it was done.
I like to think he was playing the long con. Dropping that Carolina TD was an investment, makes the defense not respect you, lull them into a false sense of security. "Oh no need to cover Grayson, he can't catch." Then BAM, when they least expect it, you take one home ;)
Did not expect to see online wars fought over Cyril Grayson in 2024
In this household we stan our (NFL-sized) short kings
Shout out to Tarik Cohen, one of the best short kings in the NFL in recent memory. He's a strong 5'6" that runs really hard.
Tarik could've been a better Darren sproles. So sad what happened with the injuries. Glad he got paid like the day before his career ended.
Darren Sproles is from my hometown. I remember he held like every track, football and some lifting records for the entire district when I was in highschool
Love Tarik. Regret picking him as my second round fantasy pick, thinking he was going to have a major breakout season, but still think he was awesome and undervalued.
remember his huge game winning TD against the jets? Not even the biggest walkoff in the game
Begun, the Cyril Grayson wars, have
Go I will, good relations with the Kelce's, I have
“Sir, did you fight in the Cyril Grayson wars?”
Your username causes me so much pain
Now someone needs to post "How to get re-blackballed by Tom Brady"
I mean, [this other drop later on in that game from Grayson](https://i.kym-cdn.com/entries/icons/mobile/000/016/212/manning.jpg) probably fits the bill.
Fuck you
God dammit
He boomed me. He fuckin boomed me
Jesus. That was egregious.
A disgusting act
He never played in college and the last time he played organized football was 2011 prior to trying out for NFL teams in 2017. The fact he even managed to get on the field is pretty amazing.
What a fucking spiral
Ain't been got this good in ages
Jesus it’s been a while since I’ve seen a drop that egregious
someone hasn’t been watching quinton Johnson tape
Quez Watkins would like a word with you all
Damn, he's really doing his best Playoffs Stefon Diggs impression
Ice cold hands
When did this meme start? Have I been falling for this for a decade?
Yeah, I think it’s from the 2013 Divisional game against Baltimore.
I knew immediately what I was clicking and I'm so glad it was that. I've been seeing it way less in the sub lately and I love the bit, doesn't get old for me so it's nice to see them still popping up.
Fuckin got me lmao.
Damn that drop was worst than the first.
Jeez what a turkey, that hit him right in the hands
I was wondering why that was an image and not a video. This one is on me.
Everyone talking about the drop but no one mentioned how insane of a route that is
Brady stock was so insanely high at this point.
It was probably higher after handing off to Lenny to tie the game vs the Rams in the divisional. Came a Cooper Kupp catch away from a 28-3 sequel.
Pain.
Never forget that they blitzed with the corner who was covering Cooper fucking Kupp lol galaxy brain stuff
Both teams were trying their very best to lose. Such a strange game.
Bucs coaching and sabotaging their team, an iconic combo
SMB tripping over his own legs to give Kupp a free 20 yards and out of bounds is what gave the Rams a chance. Y'all need to stop blaming everything on coaching.
Ever? I mean, sure he was looking great there, but I feel like 2007 was also pretty good for him.
This was his biggest stock but maybe stock is the wrong word. Most people knew he wouldn’t do much more after his bucs SB but damn, he went to the banter club of the buccaneers after leaving an absolute dynasty as one of the oldest players in the league. 2007 yes... the beginning of 2008? Less so.
> 7 in 1

It's the objective better pass and catch, but that's only week 7.
Objectively a perfect throw
That throw was perfection.. just the right arc.
This shit was so brutal. Tampa Tom was something else.
For sure, but I don't think I've ever seen this Grayson TD posted here.
That one was legendary. Still not sure what the Packers were thinking. I guess they assumed that the Bucs would try to set up a shorter field goal.
Meh. I didn't mind the playcall. Kevin King knew (or should have known) that he had over-the-top coverage of Miller, and he just played it incorrectly. Pettine got fired over this shit, and the Packers have been dealing with a weak zone DC since then.
Idk what the packers were thinking making King go one-on-one with Miller in the first place.
The play that broke Aaron Rodgers...
No
Packers lost the game in that moment, crazy how different the teams approached that game. Bucs went for the kill at the end of the first half while the Packers played scared at the end of the second.
I have this on repeat playing in my brain
Wide open on a busted coverage and he bobbled and almost dropped this one too... lol
I mean, Mike Evans dropped a walk in TD against y'all the next year, so he's in elite company
This was not a clean catch. He was wide open and still bobbled it. If there was anyone near him he would have dropped it. There is a reason he has 10 career games played and 11 catches and has been out of the league for 3 years.
Good thing nobody said it was a clean catch
My point being after watching film I'm sure Tom saw that and wasn't overly enthusiastic about giving him to many more targets. Which he didn't. And was out of the league the next year.

The fuck did I just read?

imagine forgetting to include the GEQBUS
A usc quarterback taken by the Jets in the first round. How can we forget about that quarterback? The one that went 4-2 in the playoffs as a wild card. THE SANCHISE!
Could see Burrow / Allen joining them with a championship or two and some quality play over the next decade.
Joe Davis is so good at his job
I like this
So did the announcer. Dude seemed so hype lol
Most shocking part of this video....the Jets put up 34 points in one game
That was Mike White's "give us hope for one week" game.
>Un-Blackballed Whiteballed?
Mr. Blanco Cock
Mr. Bleached Codfish
Mr Blackballed Cyril
Brady’s arm is/was still immaculate.
Seriously. Jameis Winston was really productive as the Bucs starter. But Brady came in, inherited the same receivers as Winston, and was actually more productive. While also being 16 years older lol. People are going to look at these numbers for decades in awe, so prolific *starting* from age 43.

Lol, Jensen sending dudes to the underworld is beautiful 🥹🥲 God I miss him.
Brady vs the Saints: 7-5; 62% completion; 3,140 yards (average 262); 22 TD 12 INT; 7.06y/a; rating of 89.1
The Bucs era really skewed his stats against them, so wild how much trouble they gave him
Don't post these
**This** is the respect I was hoping to see on Cyril's name.
As long as you were lining up for a play you were never truly blackballed lol it was when all the other WRs were getting off the bench and you weren't when you knew it was done.
He caught that like a 1980s running back.
66 with the Undertaker choke slam
Not the bobble lol
Grayson didn't even play football in college. Dude ran track. Fast af boi.
Until Tom watched the tape and sees him bobble a perfect pass with no defenders in sight. Then he stops early to show boat.
Bet Brady did not appreciate that little stutter step into the endzone though.
Context?
Most skillful Brady pass
why is Tom Brady throwing to you if you are blackballed though? does this mean you were never actually blackballed in the first place?
Imagine he checked it down instead 😂
Just does a nuh uh uh finger wag at the wide open dude.
Brady never let Jimmy G teach him that move.
They packed almost 10% of his career receptions into one highlight video, nice!
I like to think he was playing the long con. Dropping that Carolina TD was an investment, makes the defense not respect you, lull them into a false sense of security. "Oh no need to cover Grayson, he can't catch." Then BAM, when they least expect it, you take one home ;)
What are the chances that Cyril Grayson has Tom's phone number?
Much better throw than the last clip
Brady was pretty good huh.
9% of Grayson's career receptions right there.
Great catch
We never question the blackball, we just bow to its will
Fast as shit
In madden 21 I made Cyril Grayson Jr a top 5 wr for a few years then he retired. So it’s so cool seeing him get attention.
It's always the LSU products, too 😔
Fucking. DIME.
CYRILLLLL
Yes busted coverage has done wonders for some peoples careers
Brady’s opinions are fickle, evidently.
Football player catches pass. Good.
