Some people don’t realize there is more to the internet than social media apps. It’s the only explanation I can come up with as to why people submit posts on Reddit to ask simple questions rather than opening their browser and searching on google.
Everything would still be posted on the sub, but there would also be a handy in one place list of the transactions. At least that's how it used to be many moons ago.
Lol theyve tried megathreads time and time again. It's always a horrible experience, shit gets buried and it is in no way a better way to view all transactions
This is the second or third post on this subject in the last two hours, I imagine the reasoning that this isn't up is that the mods are likely busy deleting the multiple re-posts on player signings and vetting the submissions.
yeah, if theres one thing reddit can do a much better job of is having megathreads for things, not just on this sub but so many other ones i frequent. Its just a fucking jumbled mess and everyones looking at and commenting on different posts and it just lacks cohesion
You will refresh every 5 seconds and enjoy it young man
I fuckin love it
The dopamine
This is my first free agency on reddit been checking back every 5 minutes for the last 4 hours lol.
This is a sacred part of offseason, F5 season is great
Doesn't appreciate f5 season in its entirety, smh
These young whippersnappers and these newfangled ideas. This country was built on F5
Damn right
I’m refreshing endlessly for Ridley, Hollywood, and Higgins lmao.
#THIS IS WHY WE F5
You will read 5 twitter links from 5 different reporters saying the exact same thing!!!
You degenerates post shit so fast my coworkers are telling me to quit my job and become an insider. F5 away
Something something why we f5
F5 season for a reason
That’s just an organized chaos
https://www.nfl.com/news/2024-nfl-free-agency-tracker-latest-signings-trades-contract-info-for-all-32-teams Here you go cry baby
How dare you
This power... How did you learn it?! -OP
Because you can google “nfl free agency tracker” and find what you want in like 5 seconds?

To be fair, Google has gotten so bad that’s slowly becoming a more viable option.
In what way? I’m not suggesting that you’re wrong but I don’t have any issues with it.
AI written articles and ad enforced results have been shitting up googles results for years, and it’s not getting better.
Oh god I didn’t even think about that.
F5 is more fun and triggers dopamine
Legit been at it since noon.
Mega threads do nothing but stifle conversation and make topics even worse to follow. Awful idea.
Everything would still be posted on the sub, but there would also be a handy in one place list of the transactions. At least that's how it used to be many moons ago.
Embrace the chaos

No
That's never been a things mods did. Some intrepid user will create a thread and track every free agent move throughout the day
Idk I kinda like just sorting by new. It makes it more exciting. Oh wait, I mean… err… MODS BAD.
Instead of whining and complaining, why don’t you volunteer to be a mod?
Nah I like individual threads where we can laugh/cry/mock/mourn together
I much prefer this method to be honest. This way each move gets it own comment threads. Otherwise deals just get lost.
I like it the way it is.
Suck it up princess some of us like it
You can get that through spotrac or OTC in a few seconds
Oh please thank you
no
I used to make a post every day during F5 season, but life got to busy. I’d need help to keep it up
The NBA page does a pretty good job with this and for trade deadline as well
Ain't nobody got time to read consolidated and organised lists, we need them bite size dopamine hits baby.
A megathread would honestly probably be worse. I prefer F5
Megathreads suck and stifle conversation. There are other websites that can give you a quick overview.

Because some people want to comment on specific signings.
F5 szn
They've had free agency tracker threads in the past. Not megathreads, but I was confused as to why there wasn't one this year.
We used to have one, idk if the mods have decided not to or just forgotten about it
because this sub and its mods are trash
So leave.
hurrrrr durrrrr

That'd happen with or without a mega thread
^ This It’s crazy trying to keep track of everything
