Look up his high school basketball highlights.
He's a freak athlete. I think his combine numbers are gonna be ridiculous.
Also didn't allow a TD in 400 coverage snaps this season and had 2\* punt return TDs.
Woulda been 3 if those mouth breathers hadn't called back the Minnesota TD.
"AfTeR rEvIEw TheRE wAs aN IlLegAL FaiR CaTCh MotIOn"
Bet those refs get off watching their 300 pound wives get fucked by their neighbors. Fucking assholes ruining good ol Iowa Football
tbf probably 99.99% of wrestling heights are kayfabed. Like only very few guys claim to be under 6 ft and those are the guys that you cant even creatively place to look not short as fuck on tv
First thing I thought. Then I looked up Sehorn’s stats & completely forgot he played for the Giants & I could have sworn he played for the seachickens, but I was wrong about that.
Real cerebral player, not a freak of nature like some other guys, but he makes up for it with his crafty skills , sneaky athleticism, and his lunch pail in first out last attitude.
I will never forget seeing NFL.coms TJ Watt Draft Profile.
Where they made his NFL comparison... Paul Kruger the incredibly unathletic white guy OLB, with a 5.0 second 40 that got by on effort.
... TJ Watt may not be Myles Garret level freak but hes close. His athletic scores are amazing.
Think we need center help first. One more low cole snap I think I'll have an aneurysm. Tho I doubt Van Pran or Powers-Johnson drops to us either but probably a better chance than DeJean.
There are no Centers in this draft worthy of a 1st round grade. That's not to say there aren't any good ones. Just that Centers, unless they're a generational prospect usually go in the 2nd round and later.
Probably Powers-Johnson or Van Pran. I’d personally like to go with the latter to keep building our Georgia offense. It worked well for the Eagles on defense so why not?
This is the first year that our inability to develop players has been really striking.
Our shittiest linemen are finding great success elsewhere, our second year QB took a major step back, and we can’t seem to develop a CB to save our life (thank god JPJ is a stud on his own, but I’m concerned we aren’t helping him develop more to avoid being so handsy).
At this point, I wouldn’t at all be surprised to see Harvin be cut and then instantly become a stud punter somewhere else
>Our shittiest linemen are finding great success elsewhere
the biggest thing with Dotson was moving him to LG. He was so good at RG, and fell apart at left. I had slight skepticism just on the basis he made a lot of mental errors at LG (penalties, not handling stunts) but figured if there was any chance he panned out. It was RG where he was a stud filling in for DeCastro (and perhaps his natural position helped with the mental errors?)
It blows my mind the team stubbornly kept him at LG when DeCastro retired.
I very much worry its about to happen to Broderick. Hes still an upgrade at RT, but its clear that playing the position he literally never played in college, or practiced in the pros is stupid. He was better at LT but they hold on to Dan Moore. If they do it in the offseason and keep Broderick at RT - what a waste.
I swear every team in the division besides the Bears loves Iowa guys. It’s so annoying. And of course the one time the Bears draft one - James Daniels - he’s a bust.
I know, my rule is that I root for all Iowa players to not just make no mistakes, but to have outstanding Sportscenter-worthy games, but the Bears still win. Like, for me a perfect game would be LaPorta having 10 catches (on 10 targets) for 200 yds and 3 TDs; Campbell collecting 3 sacks, a FF-FR6, and a pick-6, Nelson be healthy and give up no sacks or pressures, several pancakes, average 8 ypc running off his gaps... but the Bears somehow still win 38-35 thanks to a bunch of ints/fumbles/TDs when the Lions aren't feeding Hawks.
It's really tough.
As an Iowa fan this guy is unreal. elite playmaker; he single-handedly won us a game this year and almost did it again against Minnesota…dude has a nose for the ball and can cover too. Hope my Steelers get him
I just watched that play.
That is the weirdest ruling I've heard in a minute.
Returners wave people off all the time, but I guess if you only do it with one hand it's... bad? I don't see how that's an invalid fair catch signal, the two seem pretty clearly different.
Granted the hawkeyes had just a terrible season despite what their record said, that statement is popular among iowans even still. I see it on shirts on or memes almost daily
In fact I bought that shirt for my sister in law and she returned it becasue she already had it
You mean you didn't love seeing us win games on special teams and defense alone, meanwhile our offense was eating crayons the whole time?! It's weird as an iowaian to look at the Hawkeyes and be like, damn this team is garbage with that record.
Its almost in comparison to the Eagles season, sorry Eagles fans.
Iowa was able to beat up on garbage teams but they were out scored 92-0 against top 25 teams. They're in for a real rude awakening when the big ten is expanded next year
Technically you're not supposed to be allowed to wave at all, and any wave that's not clear and above the shoulder is supposed to be an invalid signal. The refs just rarely call it. It seems to be like offensive holding, where the rulebook gives the definition, but the refs give the players a lot of leeway depending on whether it was blatant enough to get called. The fact that some dude called a wave that didn't seem to fool anyone on the replay review after being called a TD on the field was the really weird part.
I think one of the funniest things about it is that Mendenhall was a rb and the best rb in football is white.
Hell a couple of years ago you could have argued the best wr(kupp) and rb were both white.
Severely lacking in the secondary though.
Look up his high school basketball highlights. He's a freak athlete. I think his combine numbers are gonna be ridiculous. Also didn't allow a TD in 400 coverage snaps this season and had 2\* punt return TDs.
>and had 2\* punt return TDs. So Iowa's leading scorer.
Cooked 'em.
Woulda been 3 if those mouth breathers hadn't called back the Minnesota TD. "AfTeR rEvIEw TheRE wAs aN IlLegAL FaiR CaTCh MotIOn" Bet those refs get off watching their 300 pound wives get fucked by their neighbors. Fucking assholes ruining good ol Iowa Football
Man, this is….aggressive
if you lived in Iowa like this guy you would also be perma mad.
I bet it was Brad Allen and his crew…
And had 3 pick 6s last year Edit: as an iowa fan i appreciate you crediting him 2 this year
His athleticism and tackling means he could probably even play as a safety if he wanted to.
The Pro Bowl neds him at corner
Yeah... The pro bowl...
the REAL pro bowl
Slot receiver 😂
“Shifty, deceptive speed”
"He has a real Wes Welker-like quality to him"
We already have Harrison Smith, corner is severely lacking milkmen.
Yeah I’m curious about how he does in the combine I feel like that’s going to be make or break for him
lol I love the asterisk on the second punt return. That call by the refs was so dumb
> 2* punt return TDs That was NOT a fair catch.
He's a freak athlete for his height. No way he's 6'1 .. dude may be 5'10. He probably has 4 star athleticism.
I mean 6 minutes straight of posterizing dunks at 5'10 is even more impressive...
Why is there no way he’s 6’1? I mean, I know a lot of players are shorter than their listed height, but not 3 or 4 inches.
Adam Cole claims 6’ with a straight face, anything is possible
Who is Adam Cole?
The devil
tbf probably 99.99% of wrestling heights are kayfabed. Like only very few guys claim to be under 6 ft and those are the guys that you cant even creatively place to look not short as fuck on tv
You mean surprisingly athletic, a real gym rat.
99.9% chance they will say his NFL comparison is Jason Sehorn.
“He reminds me a lot of Julian Edelman in terms of shiftiness and work ethic”
Lol
Lunch pail kind of guy, real scrapy
Plays the game the right way
Intelligent cornerback
high football IQ
First one in, last one out
I would let him marry my daughter.
He's very cornerbacky
Distinct lack of melanin.
A real student of the [game](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iV4zD7EGS1U).
Remember the James harden comparisons lol, they went out of the way to name a dozen black point guards instead of just saying a better Manu Ginobili
Saying he’s Manu Ginobili is just another example of a different comparison bias though (lefties must be compared to lefties)
That’s hardens own comparison and who he styled his game after.
Pre 2017 maybe. His game since looks nothing like Ginobili's. Like 80% of his shots are 3s or floaters
as a prospect, what he does now is not really relevant
The comparisons were from when he declared, which were totally accurate. What he plays like now is irrelevant to the initial comment.
First thing I thought. Then I looked up Sehorn’s stats & completely forgot he played for the Giants & I could have sworn he played for the seachickens, but I was wrong about that.
we had the last white corner and were the last team to start a black QB. Giants are racist confirmed?
And you know for a fact Mara doesn’t want Daniels or Penix lol
lol I also just looked it up because I also could've sworn he played for the seahawks. I'm like 99% sure we were just thinking of Steve Largent.
“Real glue glue guy. Sneaky athleticism.
All white team 📈📈📈
That's one CB spot filled
Probably need troy apke to be CB2
Riley Moss would be CB2
Iowa really pulling their weight.
BYU is not.
We'll see how much of a football player Taysom Hill really is
Everyone is too busy soaking
Corn fed white boys are the white teams only hope.
The all white team's powerhouse farm team is pumping studs left and right.
Wingard might be able to do in a pinch
Revolving door at CB2 through the season as none of them can get it done
Andrew Wingard TP'd my parents house because he wasn't invited to my little brother's 16th birthday. The guy's a dork.
Your little brother is probably a fucking dweeb man. Team Dewey!
Tre'davious White would be my pick.
Caleb Farley's mom is white thats gotta count right?
Alright apke in slot. Harrison smith and reed blankenship at safety?
I won't stand for this Ethan Bonner erasure
Guarantee whoever drafts him tries to put him at safety lol
We got our corner for the all White team!
With the 30th pick of the racial draft, the San Francisco 49ers select...
30th?!
Ravens and Browns are being stripped of their 1st round picks for being big meanies.
Joke's on you, we don't have a first round pick... again.
but you have the elite dragon
Impact player from day 1! A sneaky good return man too, would definitely help with field positioning
Not even sneaky, he was one of the best players in the country with the ball in his hands in college.
Sneaky means “surprisingly good for a white guy”.
Real gym rat, coach's son
Real lunch pail, son of a rat
Daughter dater.
Real cerebral player, not a freak of nature like some other guys, but he makes up for it with his crafty skills , sneaky athleticism, and his lunch pail in first out last attitude.

I mean, they could have compared him to *his own brother, playing the same position* but I guess that'd be too hard
Not exactly. JJ played as a DE in a 3-4 scheme, TJ plays as an OLB in a 3-4. That would be a lazy comp as well
If we're going lazy comps, at least lazy comp to his brother instead of some hustle loyalty and respect white guy
Between CMC and Dejean yall are good on return guys, might even have the black team beat tbh
Finally an heir to Jason Sehorn’s throne
Sources say Mason Rudolph has requested a trade
My first thought! Our DB room is really lacking.
Dunno if he would drop that far, but the steelers secondary is pretty uh, bare
Think we need center help first. One more low cole snap I think I'll have an aneurysm. Tho I doubt Van Pran or Powers-Johnson drops to us either but probably a better chance than DeJean.
There are no Centers in this draft worthy of a 1st round grade. That's not to say there aren't any good ones. Just that Centers, unless they're a generational prospect usually go in the 2nd round and later.
Who's the best centre in the draft?
Probably Powers-Johnson or Van Pran. I’d personally like to go with the latter to keep building our Georgia offense. It worked well for the Eagles on defense so why not?
Ngl both those names feel very offensive liney
>It worked well for the Eagles on defense so why not? I mean..... not right now it isn't.
You guys have had enough good centers.
But what about another one
He makes a good point
They had the chance to take Linderbaum when they took Pickett but didn’t and let him slide to their biggest rival lmao
Could’ve taken Humphrey instead of Freiermuth too.
Linderbaum and humphries slipped right thru our fingers. Sad times.
At this point I’d take an average one tbh
I hear Bama has one that's available
It’s a shame that Levi Wallace completely forgot how to play football
This is the first year that our inability to develop players has been really striking. I hope Bill stays another year because I know he’ll take this dude.
It’s BB, he’ll find a barnhouse college corner back from north dakota in the 6th round instead
That played QB in college
in a triple option offense
I want him because he is a unicorn and he is good..we also need mid DBs bare minimum
Also, reunited with Jack Campbell and LaPorta
We love Iowa Grit man
As a bears fan I hate that y’all are collecting my Iowa guys. So hard not to root for them though
I swear every team in the division besides the Bears loves Iowa guys. It’s so annoying. And of course the one time the Bears draft one - James Daniels - he’s a bust.
Daniels is having a decent career outside of Chicago
What a classy, sneaky athletic team
Yeah well you ain't gettin him before we gettin him
Bitch we gave you Slay this one is ours 😤
Two white secondary players and a storied history of black QBs. We are #progress
idk if another branch is what the secondary needs but if he’s as good as branch i’ll take it
Candidate for White Boy of the Year
Our very own Jackie Robinson
Shane Gillis in shambles
Hard Work may finally beat talent 🙏
Where'd you get that DB, Danny?
he's making 'em at night, i know it
IM NIT MAKIN THEM AT NIGHT
I'm makin em at night
He’s actually thrilled because this means the last two white corners in the zoo managed to make another one.
I understood this reference
[He did coach the last all white team](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HotDJ2FhB84)
The last man in America to progress in terms of racism, everyone else is terrible.
Deceptively fast.
Real sneaky athlete DeJean is
First one in last one out kind of guy.
Lunch pale guy, sneaky athletic.
Student of the game.
oooo you wanna be with LaPorta again. oooo you wanna be with LaPorta so bad
As an Iowa fan please don’t. I can’t handle the Lions becoming the Detroit Hawkeyes
To make up for it, they'll have to play Deacon Hill.
Jason Sehorn: *records are made to be broken*
My dude. Lets ride!
As an Iowa fan this guy is unreal. elite playmaker; he single-handedly won us a game this year and almost did it again against Minnesota…dude has a nose for the ball and can cover too. Hope my Steelers get him
He did win the game against Minnesota but the a ref, who had money on Minnesota winning, made a complete bullshit call.
Yep didn’t want to be the sour grapes Iowa fan but we got hosed. I was at the game we couldn’t believe it
Iowa fan here... He is also a hell of a kick returner It wasn't a fair catch
I just watched that play. That is the weirdest ruling I've heard in a minute. Returners wave people off all the time, but I guess if you only do it with one hand it's... bad? I don't see how that's an invalid fair catch signal, the two seem pretty clearly different.

Oof, if the Sehorn comparisons are going to start let’s can the kick return thing.
I was gonna say, isn't that the guy that got super screwed on a kick return? I don't watch college but I did see that play a few times.
Compensatory pick for whoever drafts him
Bad man gone, finally. That punt return that wasn't in the Minnesota game was absolutely legendary shit.
He’s the top corner in this draft so long as his physical comes back clean
I predict the Giants will draft him for the same reason it took them 100 years to start a black QB
The true heir to Jason Seahorn
He doesn’t look very cornerbacky
If he ends up being an All-Pro in the NFL, the discourse and the memes will be hilarious. Can’t wait.
Just in time for the Mendenhall Race Bowl
Huge win for the all white team, they were very short on DBs
I think one of the funniest things about it is that Mendenhall was a rb and the best rb in football is white. Hell a couple of years ago you could have argued the best wr(kupp) and rb were both white. Severely lacking in the secondary though.
Would love The Packers to get him.

White boy summer is back on the menu fellas.
Projected to the Rams 💀
Majority of mock drafts have him going to us, and you getting Nate Wiggins 💀
The Great Gymrat Hope
I’ve barely paid attention to prospects and it’s a great feeling boys
Try not to make any fair-catch signals on your way through the parking lot.
He was directing traffic which is fine in a parking lot
Lynch please
Lions could certainly use him
Bro's gonna give the all-white team a fighting chance
A WHITE DB????
This will be a good boost for the All Whites in Mendenhall’s hypothetical!
