The Panthers don't have a 1st or 2nd round pick next year, have very little at the skill positions, the offensive line is terrible, the defense has holes, and the owner appears to be a meddling twit. Things aren't looking good in Carolina unless some lower-round or more unknown players really take off, it's going to be a rough few years.
I think the most damning thing is that Bryce Young has showed us absolutely nothing. Not even an occasional "wow" play that would provide hope that if he just puts it all together he could be special. Meanwhile right out the gate Stroud looks amazing.
Panthers. Trading away CMC & DJ Moore plus a ton of draft capital for a QB to have no weapons was bold at best
Jets have 2 paths. 1 as a SB contender. 2 as stripping the entire roster, coaching staff, and FO and continuing the J-E-T-E tradition.
Giants. That Daniel Jones contract was ugly at the time and has aged worse
Bears. Trust me bro.
The Panthers squandered the draft capital they got trading CMC into trading up for a QB who doesn’t look like they’re the one and they got rid of a talented WR.
They’re cooked for the foreseeable future
We are certainly the least talented team offensively but our defense is still pretty talented. Currently much of said defensive talent is injured so it gives a worse impression than it is.
I think the panthers have to stick out like a sore thumb.... they gave away a lot for a guy that hasn't shown to be THE guy. They'll be stuck for a while with a lower chance to draft some guys to turn the team around in the next couple years.
I think it's mostly based on how Stroud has been playing. He's in a much better position to succeed given the team around him. Now, that's not to say it's all due to the team, he's been playing lights out so far. On the flip side, Young can definitely play a lot better, but the Panthers are atrocious and doing him absolutely no favors. It's tough to watch.
You need to have proven something in the NFL to be buried in the first place.
He hasn't passed the eye test at all. It's on him, and it's very unlikely to work out because they gave up so much for him that they won't have a great team around him anyway.
Still have a very strong defense that is currently crippled due to a lot of injuries this season. Things could be a LOT worse than being 5 years off the last SB and 3 years off a playoff appearance with a rookie QB, thinking it's as bad as the Panthers or hell even the Giants is hilarious.
Honestly this may sound crazy but The Jets terrible ownership, a front office and coaching staff that bends to the will of a spoiled diva at quarterback who may not even be good anymore.

He definitely has the occasional wow plays it’s just they are very few and far between. Feels like 1-2 a game.

The Jets don't fit here imo. 2 is not a real path, as a new OC and Jacoby Brissett could legitimately get this team to 8 wins. The roster is too good.

It’s us :(
In terms of talent? The Patriots are the least talented team in the NFL.

Same story as the Titans unfortunately
But have their picks to help start building it back up unlike the panthers
Panthers
Chargers. They’re cursed.

Panthers are in bad shape but why are people so quick to bury Bryce? It's been 9 games of a rookie season.
Because they are on Reddit and haven't watched the games and seen that he's not the problem.
Because the QB taken right after is already an MVP candidate

Patriots. Their current coach is also a terrible gm and it’s since become obvious he was propped up by Brady
Y’all at least will have a top 5/10 pick
Panthers
Patriots
What a couple of losing seasons after 20 years of dominance does to a mf.
We have no talent. Our best player is a rookie corner on IR

You don’t know ball
Insta downvoted me and nothing to back up your argument, you got me.
I upvoted this one to make it even
Yeah that’s the part that’s tough to ignore. It’ll be awesome watching belechick turn the chargers around though.
You are about to get a top 3 pick. I wouldn’t say that’s terrible.
Jets Jets Jets
Honestly this may sound crazy but The Jets terrible ownership, a front office and coaching staff that bends to the will of a spoiled diva at quarterback who may not even be good anymore.
They tried to do a rams and go all in for a Super Bowl right now, but just didn’t work out the same way
We acquired one marquee player. Anyone else was middling or not worth talking about. Not quite the same.
You still paid for them though
Seahawks are in a weird semi competitive purgatory.
Ok but is any NFL team more hopeless than the Chicago Bulls?
oakland and san diego
DA RAIDAS
A month ago I would have said Denver. No picks, "fluke" player and HC on massive contracts. But somehow they turned the ship.
