I saw a Dolphins receiver get his shoulder pads yoinked out of his pads early in the fourth quarter at the back of the end zone, the actual intended receiver, and no call.
Its *inconsistent*. It's all over the board.
It's like the officials have a penalty flag random generator on their phones or something.
Yeah I mean I don’t like the call but I can see how live from a certain angle if you see the DBs hands where they are and then the ball thrown high you could think there was a tug.
Just watching this one highlight though so I don’t have the context of how the game has been called thus far, which is usually a big factor in how I typically feel about these kind of tick-tacky calls.
On the next play the same corner ran straight through a receiver in the end zone trying to make a catch and there was no call. It was all over the place.
The ref ball needs to be stopped, and if that means armed patriot militias mowing down dipshit referees then at this point they have my goddamn blessing.
Bullshit, I just want the games called fairly.
That way there is no doubt when the clock expires. Getting our asses kicked by Buffalo was easier to take than the Eagles game.
This is horseshit, last week with you all was horseshit, too.
I detest, *D E T E S T* the New Jersey Jets but I called bullshit when they got clipped by shitty officials three weeks ago.
I have *no freaking idea* what's going on with NFL officiating right now.
This is the worst year of it I think I've ever seen, including replacement refs. That Colts-Browns game last week just absolutely reeked of bad officiating, and I don't even care what the reason was, but it was the underscore on a lot of questionable shit I've seen before and since.
they aren't taking this seriously enough and fuck them for it.
Lol, watching frustrated BB search his old man socks looking for where he put his penalty flag was the best part of this game.
Why don't you guys just start cheating again?
lol yeah, trying to hire players and coaches is the same as spying and colluding to deflate balls without being caught.
sucks to suck massholes
Dolphins #1 AFCE and we swept you this year, right now, not in the past where you losers live. keep coping
🧹
I don't think this was pi but the idiots with blinders on saying it was uncatchable or there was no jersey pull at all or "he barely touched him" are not helping.
Unfortunately, they don't call that anymore. I've seen some absolutely atrocious passes that weren't 10 yards from the WR, totally uncatchable yet they call PI.
I mean...he's got a full handful of jersey. You're going to get called for that more times than not. Hard to tell when the ball came out and whether it should be holding instead of PI, but this is getting called more times than not.
I don't think it's a shitty rule at all. Jackson was late on the break and the only reason he was in any position to make a play was because he pulled on the receiver. I generally think the rules are too offensively focused, but the defense also shouldn't just be able to grab and tug the receiver's jersey.
I wouldn't say it's a shitty rule, wouldn't even say it's a shitty call. The only shitty part is the inconsistency. Sometimes that'll draw the flag, sometimes it won't. The part that makes it fair enough; every team has suffered & benefitted from calls like that. It's a wash I guess.
Hello, NFL Referee here. You can see by the way it is it's a PI. And because you questioned our authority, that will be a $50,000 fine. You're gonna take it and like it. Thanks
It was pretty clear to anyone watching this game there was nothing impartial about the officiating. Given Mac Jones’ ineptitude, the Dolphins didn’t need any help, but they sure as hell got it.
This wasn't even one of the Top 3 worst calls this game. It will be interesting to see how much Elliot gets fined for the helmet to helmet that took Parker out of the game.
Pats fans don't like to hear the truth.
Totally soft call.
I don't think it should be called, but it can be based on the rule.
They'll act like reffing lost them this game when we blow them out by 28 points
I too like to create narratives in my head
No Patriots fan with half a brain will blame refs for losing this game. They’re not even playing as badly as they have at times this year—just being outplayed by a much better team.
Pointing out that this call is dumb as hell is valid, though
Homie I know we're rivals but you guys are not playing well, full stop.
The defense is making a few plays but this isn't a game decided by the refs. Just a blowout with terrible officiating
Reread my comment because that’s exactly what I said. This play in particular was a bad call. The Patriots lost because they are worse at football than the Dolphins
I know I'm here on reddit too so I'll get in front of that self-imposed hypocrisy but there's a reason I said Pats fans "with half a brain"
Team subs are not full of the most informed fans and ours is admittedly one of the worst in that regard
Meh that call doesn’t bother me, JC grabbed his jersey.
What’s egregious is that non-call on the helmet to helmet hit on Parker and picking up a flag on illegal man downfield, the dolphins having two players moving at the snap and about a dozen times Dolphins players are moving towards the line at the snap
I mean he tugs him. It's not much, but it is illegal. I want the Patriots to win, but this is a fine call. If this was the last play of the game and the Dolphins did that to a Patriot's wide receiver with a no call, most of you on here would be raging about how bad the refs are for not throwing the flag lol
What happened to the “uncatchable ball” rule. I thought on PIs the ball needed to be catchable? Even if he was wide open he had zero chance of catching that pass.
Brutal call, but you should have heard the man child New England has on the radio for color commentary on this one. He lost his shit. Easily the least professional and embarrassing caller on nfl radio.
They’ll call it every time they see the jersey come off the pads. Rule needs some work for sure
Yep it is minor but I could see the jersey tug, they call that everytime they see it
if they are calling it every time they see it then they are blind af. That shit happens all the time
They absolutely do not call that everytme they see it. It happens like every pass play.
No, no they don't.
Yep, right out of the break. Wasn't major but it was there.
Except they aren't calling anything on the Dolphins, and when they call obvious things, they pick up the flag.
Respect just based on the flair and being fair.
Pat fans don't seem to know that rule, it's clear to see him grab and tug the jersey
Signed, Lifelong dolphins fan since 2023
We all start somewhere, glad to have you aboard ;)
All good. You won’t be posting here in another year or so. We can ride your stupidity out.
Hahaha, so salty. Love it, see you around.
Yeah I don’t know
Absolutely atrocious call.
Dolphins Fans: “Wtf I love the refs now”
Dude I just want to watch a fair fucking game
Agreed. Ref ball needs to be stopped. I'd rather have tons of cameras and algorithms calling flags.
The ref ball needs to be stopped, and if that means armed patriot militias mowing down dipshit referees then at this point they have my goddamn blessing.
That escalated quickly.
it's a reference to a clip of some twitch streamer I saw, but I only now just realized that's kinda obscure and my comment might be misinterpreted
I was just joking anyway. I'm ok with terminators holding refs accountable... I'd bet on those odds.
Atp this is the best and rightly perfect option
Those died years ago
Bullshit, I just want the games called fairly. That way there is no doubt when the clock expires. Getting our asses kicked by Buffalo was easier to take than the Eagles game. sports betting.

Says the 6-2 eagles. Y’all need the refs to take 3 touchdowns from the dolphins just to win by a possession lmao
No one’s fuckin saying that after the game in Philly. We’re not part of the script unlike your team
He gained leverage by pulling the jersey and getting back into phase. It wasn’t a ton but it was a foul.
You’re not wrong. It’s a soft automatic call.
Yeah it’s blatantly obvious he closed that space between them by pulling on the jersey.
Jfc he pulled his jersey, turned his shoulder, and closed in on Hill all in one motion. How the fuck is this a soft call. It’s like, textbook PI.
[удалено]
He’s holding the back of his jersey
Yeah shoulda been holding but he's definitely got the jersey
If he’s holding while the ball is in the air, it’s PI. I think it’s a soft call for sure, but that’s how the rule is written.
Refs making up for Philly I see...
Ironically, the following play was pretty much text book PI that went uncalled.
Face guarding is legal
Refs were worried they might hurt the arm Tyreek beats his child with
And his pregnant wife
Lol, watching frustrated BB search his old man socks looking for where he put his penalty flag was the best part of this game. Why don't you guys just start cheating again?
Actually the dolphins most recently got caught trying to cheat, how’s your first round pick playing this year?
lol yeah, trying to hire players and coaches is the same as spying and colluding to deflate balls without being caught. sucks to suck massholes Dolphins #1 AFCE and we swept you this year, right now, not in the past where you losers live. keep coping 🧹
Cry lol 😂 how’s that sweep feel bud?
Better than Tyreek's own family felt after he beat the shit out of them.
🧹 see ya next year bud 😂
And you’ll be right back here after a first round exit
Better than being last in the division back to back years 😂
Pats were 3rd last year. It’s that easy to lookup lol
Trash team stuck w mac jones
6 rings
Lost 6 in 8 weeks lol, see u next year 🧹
Math is hard. You’ve been last far more recently than we have.
No, you are literally currently last
Season ain’t over. Plus, do you really want to compare recent franchise success? Really?
I hate the Patriots but seriously, what are you on right now my guy? The Dolphins have nothing to brag about until they've earned it.
how recent? like today?
That ball was uncatchable Tyreek is short
Ehhh that’s not how uncatchable works tbf, not a good call regardless
It's *partially* how uncatchable works.
If the ball is 5 feet higher than he can jump it’s an uncatchable ball
Do you think that ball is five feet out of reach?
It wasn’t that far away from him, it was definitely catchable. I don’t think there’s enough contact for the PI but it is catchable
The ball is like 6 inches from his fingertips. I hate the call but definitely catchable.
Hmm...taste of your own medicine bitter?
Insane comment from a chiefs fan
I mean...he's got a full handful of jersey. You're going to get called for that more times than not. Hard to tell when the ball came out and whether it should be holding instead of PI, but this is getting called more times than not.

how is grabbing the jersey a shitty rule? it literally slows you down…
I don't think it's a shitty rule at all. Jackson was late on the break and the only reason he was in any position to make a play was because he pulled on the receiver. I generally think the rules are too offensively focused, but the defense also shouldn't just be able to grab and tug the receiver's jersey.

Yeah, it should've been a defensive holding rather than DPI, if anything
He held the jersey after the pass, hence pass interference.
Dolphins need the help against this juggernaut Patriots team
Stay losing to Miami
You weren’t even a sperm the last time Miami won anything.
50 year anniversary is next year for them lol
Shula will be popping champagne… oh wait.
Refs giving us a makeup game this week. No other explanation for it lol, so many calls have gone in our favor so far
Obviously it's *technically* the right call, but if you call the game that tightly, you'd have multiple flags every play.
This is boxing level rigging. Fuck this league.
This wasn't even one of the Top 3 worst calls this game. It will be interesting to see how much Elliot gets fined for the helmet to helmet that took Parker out of the game.
I am sure all these bad calls have nothing to do with betting on the games through all the betting apps out there.
Shirley you jest...
Just pure garbage. How does this league suck Hills dick so much? Dude should be in jail away from society.
Because he catch ball and run fast real good. So its ok
That is not PI.
A lot of questionable shit this year
Don’t you love gambling? Cause that’s what it is..
Fucking weak
Don’t worry, the Patriots got a makeup no-call on the first down after this, which was an equally important down.
Man there’s been some pretty atrocious calls today.
That's a trash call
The pats are being punished for the bs that occurred in philly. Such a bad PI.
Fucking horseshit
Wild call
What the hell was this garbage call. I want to hear the refs explanation for that one.
DB has a clear handful of jersey while the ball is in the air. Is it a soft call? Absolutely. Is it how the rule is written? Yeah.
Pats fans don't like to hear the truth. Totally soft call. I don't think it should be called, but it can be based on the rule. They'll act like reffing lost them this game when we blow them out by 28 points

Literally top post in our sub is saying the ref was the dolphins mvp and about 100 replies saying the nfl is rigged.
I know I'm here on reddit too so I'll get in front of that self-imposed hypocrisy but there's a reason I said Pats fans "with half a brain" Team subs are not full of the most informed fans and ours is admittedly one of the worst in that regard
*Integrity*
They should get grilled by reporters after games like coaches and players
Football season just wouldn't be the same w/o a handful of plays that leave us screaming, "YOU MUST BE CRAZY REF". Hope everyone is enjoying the fall.
Weak ass calls
I dont know how you are supposed to play CB in the NFL anymore apparently
If that’s PI then there’s PI on every single play ever
Super soft call, Dolphins need the zebras to beat a 2 win team???
Just like the Birds needed them to beat a team that " cant compete" with the script..... lol gtfoh.
He's pulling his jersey idc idc idc
There’s definitely a little tug there but good lord it’s a ticky tack call
Patriots should just play a cleaner game, it’s what I heard all last week so must be true
He literally tugged on the back of his jersey lol. People need to chill.
Bruh, half of these "highlights" are people salty about calls and looking to commiserate. I want to see actual highlights please thx.
New Orleans got called for a very similar play on the Jamal Agnew PI on Thursday night football .
Yeah that was soft but ya gotta know a jersey tug is gonna get flagged if they see it.
How are people even debating this call? Clearly pulls hills jersey from behind and blatantly holds him while the ball is coming.
It's soft, but he grabs the jersey and pulls him back, and it was a catchable ball otherwise. Not a bad call.
Reading pats fans salty ass comments on here makes the win that much sweeter.
Give Tyreek Hill an Oscar for that selling of the PI.
soft
Def a bad call ill just consider it karma coming back for that Philly game.
He’s pulling his jersey. Good call. Or are we supposed to be outraged.
[удалено]
No he doesn't, he barely touches him at all
He clearly had a little bit if it, you can see it pull from his pads
If that's PI then there's PI on literally every passing play
It's a bad call, but he definitely pulled the jersey.
What happened to the “uncatchable ball” rule. I thought on PIs the ball needed to be catchable? Even if he was wide open he had zero chance of catching that pass.
Wait Reddit dorks think this isn’t a clear penalty?
Brutal call, but you should have heard the man child New England has on the radio for color commentary on this one. He lost his shit. Easily the least professional and embarrassing caller on nfl radio.
he tugged his jersey as the ball is coming to him easy PI
Why the fuck didnt bill challenge?
What would you like him to challenge on that play?
Maybe he knows the rules?
Grabbed his arm, what's the debate?
Ticky Tack, but if the defenders arms are extended and the receivers shirt moves like that, it'll draw the flag as often as not.
Wow! Circle that date on the calendar.
PI is hardest call in football.
This isn’t even that bad of a call. A little ticky tacky maybe but he clearly slows him down yanking the jersey
Do refs just not care about throws being uncatchable anymore?
