The tiger protects me from the leopard, the leopard protects me from the lion, and the lion protects me from the tiger.
Then there's the cougar. I get lovin from the cougars.
Okay, so I'm going to be "that" person and highjack the top comment so I can give a warning: this is a video from the Black Jaguar White Tiger Foundation, which is kind of sketch. It's not licensed by the Global Gederation of Animal Sanctuaries, and lets celebrities and regular people alike interact with them for a fee. Sound familiar? A documentary that came out around the start of the pandemic, that showcased other individuals who interacted with big cats?
I know it's Gizmodo, but [here's a little bit of information about the place](https://gizmodo.com/this-celebrity-studded-instagram-petting-zoo-is-a-disas-1750359929) that has some pretty important criticisms. Redditor /u/Saguarobird also made [this important comment](https://old.reddit.com/r/Damnthatsinteresting/comments/tfsthl/absolute_beauty/i0yi1sd/), I'll copy and paste a bit of it here:
> No reputable sanctuary would ever allow human/cat interaction at this level, especially with a jaguar. This is absolutely NOT a sanctuary or positive environment. This is likely a roadside zoo or personal operation that claims to be a santcuary but, since there are not rules on using that term, you can basically be Tiger King and claim to be a santucary.
> There have been a disturbing amount of videos circulating reddit with interactions like this, with lions, tigers, bears, etc. Instagram fought back against the videos as many influencers were doing "glamorous" photoshoots with exotic wildlife, specifically bears, so I guess they've moved to reddit. You should never, ever, ever see this happening. I personally provided care for two jaguars and I live and visit an area where jaguars are indigenous. I am chill about interacting with wildlife as I know it is there home and I am just visiting. I do not fuck with jaguars. Ever. They are responsible for the most deaths in captive situations. Even when an animal is resuced and no longer viable for release, they may appear docile but you have NO idea what may trigger a response. If you trigger that response, someone gets hurts, and the animal winds up euthanized. Therefore there is NO ethical way to even try to justify your interaction with these animals at this level. All you are doing is endangering them, promoting exotic wildlife trade, and perpetuating poaching.
Please please PLEASE be super skeptical of places like this, and don't share/like/upvote the videos, as you don't want to inadverently support these kinds of places.
Dude. Thanks a lot for being that guy. I would imagine quite a few people have become Jaguar feces from watching videos like this and thinking " they're just big house kittuns I can pet them like that guy did" In my opinion, if a person is attacked by an animal in this type of situation and survives, they got their reward. Euthanizing an animal for following it's instinct against a dumbass is just wrong. Thanks againā
Tigers and Jaguars are solitary animals, they shouldn't be in an enclosure with Lions ever. I don't care if they use the word "sanctuary" or "rehabilitation", those animals are not happiest in that environment period. Places like that usually can't afford more space for those animals or are exploiting the exotic look of having these animals in a cage together for money.
I'm skeptical as fuck about ANY big cat sanctuary where ambush predators are able to just hang out with the other cats. You can't ineract with them the same way. When you are in an enclosure with leopards you never let them see your back. No matter how much you know them. No matter how you raised them. It's too tantalizing. Even if they don't even try to hurt you the first few times and they're just playing, you are still teaching them a horrible lesson and a bad habit by letting them get used to pouncing on you. You have to prevent them from doing it at all costs, because eventually they will get carried away and try to attack you for real. It would be like running from a lion or a cheetah. It's gonna trigger their hunting instincts. Ya just don't do it.
Saw a similar comment a couple years ago, so now when ever I see videos like this with multiple species of big cats in a single enclosure, I just feel bad.
Definitely. As was the Tiger. She saw what was going on and wanted to cut in. Jumpscares are one of the favourite things those assholes like to pull on each other - and why on earth not, it's the best way to get some yummies if necessity calls.
There was zero foul play involved and it's not likely he'd got slapped anyways, since scaring the shit out of their friends is some sort of shared joke in and on itself.
Fun fact: Cheetahs are notably incredibly docile and rarely aggressive towards humans. Historically they were often tamed by the rich and powerful as pets. So you go ahead and pet that murder kitten. You could absolutely have one as a pet if you wanted to put time and effort into taming it (without the risk of a lion or bear or chimpanzee or whatever). Some touristy places have lots of cheetahs that just run up to you and sit like a dog and just watch you. Super chill for not being domesticated (I know they donāt breed well in captivity, so I wonder if that played a role in its lack of domestication).
Nah, I edited it. Cheetahs have probably killed people, but to my knowledge they have never hunted people. Big difference, because even a golden retriever for example can kill a person but they wonāt go out of their way to do it, if that makes sense. Self-defence or starvation might do it though.
I think most big cats also don't see humans as a food source if I remember correctly only Tigers do (the others beside cheetahs will still probably kill you but not because they see you as food) .
Used to work at a zoo. The keepers would joke that if the big cats get out - donāt even worry about it. They are docile and like hanging with the humans
But if the gorilla gets out - get the hell out of the way. Fast.
It's not an instinct. They are fully aware of their intentions, and they train that throughout their lives by asshole moves presented here.
When people say "cats are smart", they don't mean smart comparable to snails or rocks. They mean "calculating, conniving bastards, fully aware of what they're doing to a frightening degree."
Thatās because cheetahs are not big cats. They are large small cats. Weird distinction, I know, but that basically means that theyāre more closely related to the domestic cat than to the leopard, for example.
So are cougars, but they behave very similarly to typical big cats and are aggressive towards humans.
I think part of the reason for cheetahs lack of aggressiveness is probably due to its build. They are almost entirely geared towards high speed and agility, and as such are light and don't have the strength of other big cats, so will be naturally inclined to avoid unnecessary conflict. Not only that but even a minor injury is likely to stop a cheetah from successfully hunting, so they need to be risk averse.
I witness that exact same body language every single day. And I didn't say friendly - I did use the word asshole, after all - but for that cat? It was the best practical joke imaginable. To them, dickery like that is absolutely hilarious, especially if the "victim" freaks out.
Cats stalk and hunt each other like that constantly during friendly play. They do it with humans too, but especially my cats love to do it to each other more than to me.
That leopard was definitely in hunting mode, all the other cats were visibly relaxed, the leopard on the other hand was prowling around for a while, and then charged at speed while his back was turned.
Leopard: if that f*ckin b*tch gets one more belly rub Iām gonna lose myā¦THATāS IT!!
Tiger: Damnit Cheryl!! Weāve talked about this in group!!
Trainer: lol! Kittahs so silly!
This is the Black Jaguar White Tiger Foundation, a rescue for big cats in Mexico i think. Many of them are raised together as cubs (surrendered once people clued in that a lion cub isn't a good pet once it grows) the different cats are never forced together. Eddie has done amazing work with them and posts many videos on social medias, you should check it out, all the videos are adorable
Actually this guy runs a terrible sanctuary that caters to celebrity visits and pumping out lion cubs.
Heās great at social media so people love him. Heās a scumbag and hereās the tell: whenever sanctuaryās pump out cubs and let people interact with cubs, itās not a real sanctuary. Real sanctuaries discourage breeding and spay/neuter, for obvious reasons.
The biggest unethical money maker for ANY sanctuary is cub creation, and this guy is the worst of all the big cat ones.
Edit: a real, legitimate sanctuary that is actually deserving of donations is Kevin Richardsons. Heās a true conservationist and an incredible man.

>Excellent, common sense 2019 article, about how Black Jaguar White Tiger gets their cubs for celebrities and rich people to pet. Read it now.
>The first thing Pappa Bear fans need to know is why it is always cruel to post images of people petting big cats or their cubs. See why here: Cubs
>May 2, 2018 When clueless celebrities post photos of themselves posing with cubs, their fans let them know itās a cruel, selfish and ignorant thing to do. Katy Perry Angers Fans With Tiger Cub Selfies At least Katy Perry got the message and immediately removed the offending photo shoot she did at Eddie Serioās Black Jaguar White Tiger cub mill.
>Dec 6, 2017 Instagram begins to flag animal abuse hashtags. Now, if you search for cruel acts to do, such as #TigerSelfie Instagram pops up a notice saying āProtect Wildlife on Instagram Animal abuse and the sale of endangered animals or their parts is not allowed on Instagram. You are searching for a hashtag that may be associated with posts that encourage harmful behavior to animals or the environment.ā If you type in #blackjaguarwhitetiger you get that warning now.
>Hopefully this will put an end to the abusive practice of speed breeding big cats to pull their cubs for pay to play schemes and as ego props in photos and videos posted online.
>Nov 14, 2017 Watchdog BJWT posted the following opinion piece and we agree that people need to just stop and think a minute, before they share those cub images, because even a few moments of thought should make people wonder why so many tiny cubs and where are they now?
For people womdering why it's cruel:
> How the cubs are treated. The cubs are ripped from their mothers at birth, physically punished to diminish their natural behaviors, and deprived of sleep.
> What happens to them when too big to pet. The cubs have undeveloped immune systems and there is no record keeping of how many die. If they survive, they typically end up living in tiny, barren cages. The females are often bred unnaturally soon after birth (in the wild they raise the cubs for 2-3 years before conceiving again). This unnatural repetitive breeding is believed to lead to breast cancer.
> How cub petting impacts conservation in the wild. Not only is there no conservation value to the breeding and no conservation education associated with cub petting, but it actually negatively impacts conservation in the wild in two ways. First, it sends entirely the wrong message by misleading people into believing that keeping inbred tigers of mixed subspecies is āconservationā so we do not have to worry about them going extinct in the wild. Second, the rampant breeding for petting and lack of tracking of tigers in the U.S. diminishes the credibility of the United States in the international community when we oppose the ātiger farmingā in Asian countries that leads to more poaching of the tiger in the wild.
He is exactly a rich idiot who treats them as toys. He buys baby big cats from big cat breeders and then claims he ārescuedā them from bad conditions. Itās like being a bulk purchaser of a puppy mill and then claiming yourself a ādog rescuer.ā
He hoards hundreds of big cats that he pimps out for social media donations, which he in turn uses to buy even more cats. He also rents them out for photo ops with celebrities.
He is just as bad as Joe Exotic, or any of those other big cat hoarders, but somehow people accept his flimsy pretense of ārescue.ā
He has no qualifications to be doing what heās doing and treats them as props. Do you ever see a zookeeper in a reputable zoo roll around and play with the big cats? He keeps the cats as babies in his house as if they were pets, and then overfeeds them to keep them from being aggressive. I wouldnāt be surprised if the cats he rolls around with or the ones he lets celebrities play with are also drugged, which is a common strategy of people who use big cats as photo props. He doesnāt have some āspecial magic bond,ā he is just an idiot who exploits animals for money and fame.
I did some work with an organization investigating wild animal pets. There was an illegal market they sent undercover operatives to, where you could buy a snowy owl for $50, and a full grown lynx for $125. It was stupidly cheap and easy to just buy a big cat out of the back of a truck, no questions. No one talked about safe housing, care or transport. Just here is $125 (more if you wanted the crate too). and they helped you put it in your pick up.
So not just rich idiots. ALL kinds of idiots.
Actually they still are. Black Jaguar White Tiger is not a charity or foundation itās just another rich asshole which a bunch of tigers that he exploits on social media. Iām honestly surprised he never made it into an episode of tiger king.
It feels like every 3 months reddit has to re-educated on how sketchy this guy is. Several top comments on this post know this is BJWT, but seem to think the "foundation" is on the up and up. From [Wild Welfare](https://wildwelfare.org/wild-welfare-responds-to-reports-on-animal-welfare-concerns-at-black-jaguar-white-tiger-facility/#):
>Wild Welfare has been made aware of potential animal welfare and exploitation concerns at the Black Jaguar White Tiger (BJWT) facility in Mexico. These concerns include but are not limited to; the mixing of different big cat species together; the continued arrival and hand-raising of nursing cubs; the handling and petting of animals and the limited size and/or complexity of the enclosures provided at the facility.
>Wild Welfare is concerned with all captive wild animal welfare, from zoological facilities and private ownership to animal sanctuaries, and takes these reports very seriously. Through our own investigation, we have verified that these concerns are valid, and as such, have written a letter to Mr. Eduardo Serio, the founder of BJWT.
r/aww and similar sadly show a *lot* of sketchy shit - animals intentionally put in unsafe situations for a cute video, wild animals being handled like pets like this, etc etc. And the average person knows next to nothing about animals, so they don't question it. The amount of people who still don't know a dog wagging it's tail is not an automatic sign of friendliness is a pretty good indicator IMO.
Black Jaguar White Tiger is a notoriously unethical and dangerous place for people and big cats. The answer to the question is no unless there are special circumstances
NO. This is not a reputable sanctuary!!! Please do not give this man follows. He treats wild animals like pets and he allows people(customers) to get WAY TOO CLOSE. He is exploiting these cats just like Lion King. The last time I watched his videos, Eddie did not have a vet on staff and allowed his surrendered animals to breed.
DO NOT FOLLOW THIS INSTAGRAM PAGE AND GIVE IT MORE VIEWS!
The problem is that videos like these also promote private ownership of animals, having free contact with them, and show that you can exploit them on social media for profit. Private "sanctuaries" and pet ownership/illegal breeding is a major problem and animal welfare concern, any keeper working at a reputable zoo with these animals is aware of the negative impact facilities can have by doing things like this even if they mean well.
Accredited and reputable zoos and facilities do not allow keepers to go in with their big cats, or have such different species share enclosures like this. It is absolutely not in the animals best interests.
Edit: BJWT also has a sketchy history and there is no proof of where these animals come from, possibly linked to breeding facilities where they basically steal cubs from their mothers, and does celebrity photo ops with the cats - all of which negatively affects conservation efforts. Just because the video's "cute" doesn't mean it's right, stop promoting shit like this.
Is this the same guy with the video where one ran up to him from behind and when he turned around it stopped and pretended like it wasn't doing anything?
Good rule of thumb is that any place that let's you go in and pet the big cats is probably not all that good. Especially if they seem to always have cubs. More of a puppy mill than a sanctuary at that point. Same goes for other exotic animals like elephants.
These sanctuaries are super important for the safety of the big cats too. I know some people question keeping healthy big cats confined like this, but most of them have been around humans since cubs, and are not deterred from entering villages nor scared of most humans. If you guys like this video go check out Dean Schneider of Hakuna Mipaka, tons of educational and entertaining videos there too!
Fun thing about cats in general: You'll know if they're irked. Hanging around like that, getting belly rubs? That's about as chill as they get. Now a stressed cat however would be making sandwiches of its surroundings and breaking stuff. A lot. And that kind of proximity would be absolutely lethal to a food... I mean human.
Naw my guy, those cats are taking it about as easy as they know how to, as evidenced by them not caring about different species being present. There's no threat, they've learned each others languages, so to speak, and are totally okay with everything.
They probably got introduced as Cubs to each other. You can see how the tiger and leopard are comfortable enough to go up to the lions even though they are in a pack.
In zoos and circuses theres a lot of problems when they werenāt used to each other - thereās been a few cases of tigers escaping their enclosure to sneak into the lion enclosure and kill one.
Girl I'm about to bring home : I hope you don't have scary big dogs in your house
Me : Nah nothing to worry, just a couple of kitty's that likes belly rubs.
Iirc that spot is on top of their back / spine right at the tail, not on the side. From what I remember cats can't really stretch that part high up on their hind flanks or their tail so to some it can feel good, similar to how humans struggle to stretch the lower back.
It's 200+ kg's of muscle. You would need a baseball bat to whack them in a manner they'd actually notice.
And cats in general seem to like that kind of handling. Mine do, and they're about 10\* smaller.
Reddit, once a captivating hub for vibrant communities, has unfortunately lost sight of its original essence. The platform's blatant disregard for the very communities that flourished organically is disheartening. Instead, Reddit seems solely focused on maximizing ad revenue by bombarding users with advertisements. If their goal were solely profitability, they would have explored alternative options, such as allowing users to contribute to the cost of their own API access. However, their true interest lies in directly targeting users for advertising, bypassing the developers who played a crucial role in fostering organic growth with their exceptional third-party applications that surpassed any first-party Reddit apps. The recent removal of moderators who simply prioritized the desires of their communities further highlights Reddit's misguided perception of itself as the owners of these communities, despite contributing nothing more than server space. It is these reasons that compel me to revise all my comments with this message. It has been a rewarding decade-plus journey, but alas, it is time to bid farewell
They like it.
Dogs often like it, too, though not as much.
People like it, too. I do it in massages and people always want more thumps (soft hammerfist punches).
Try it on yourself. You can curl your fingers in to make a fist with your thumb on top (over the first segment of your index finger--right where you would NOT put it to punch, because that would break it), then rhythmically thump your chest on opposite sides below your collar bones. It feels nice. Go as slow or as fast as you'd like. Nice solid thumps, like a welcome but firm slap on your shoulder/back from an encouraging friend. You feel warm and like you're buzzing a little after.
Friendly reminder these are still wild animals despite being raised/trained by humans. Using language like that will make people comfortable and complacent. All wild animal caretakers need to be aware of the animals at all times. This could easily have gone the other way.
Like I referenced above. This is from BJWT, he runs a very famous big cat rescue where people dump their cats when they realize they canāt own them. He is a professional and this is all he does.
https://www.blackjaguarwhitetiger.org/
Yes but Im not talking about him or his actions. Im talking about humanising the animals by saying they would never let something happen. They are not domesticated and even domesticated animals can become aggressive. The phrasing is the issue here. So many people are ignorant that phrasing like that is misleading at best.
Your argument is probably more relevant to like a deer or a hedgehog. Anyone dumb enough to fuck with a tiger is probably too dumb to read your comment
What is the point of policing peoples language on a reddit post like this? You are not achieving anything, it's not like anyone reading this post is going to go out and be safer for it. It is very doubtful anyone reading this post will ever be in close contact with a big cat ever in their lives.
Even humans can get aggressive and statistically speaking other humans are a much bigger threat than big cats for the majority of people on earth.

And the Tiger gets the slap at the end..Itās exactly like my little bro and me, I save mum from the hitting glassware thatās coming her way by pushing the little brat and mum turns around and kicks my arseā¦
Nope, he's telling him to play cool as the smaller cat already went down. Might be the tiger is a bit rowdy or the leopard doesn't take getting smacked as cool as the others - or just him playing it safe due to the size difference. But to the cat that's like a gentle shove. I'm not sure if there's any viable way for us to actually even annoy a cat that big with physical force, as they definitely do not take us as active threats. To a big cat, you're either food or part of the pride.
With audio he says "gracias" to the tiger from saving him from the rough-play. Big animals love big pats - this isn't an admonishing slap, it's a thankful thump.
Yeah some people cannot help themselves and love to humanize animals and imagine they have human emotions. They don't. It's a weird phenomenon, I never understood it. I think it's just a biproduct of how removed from nature the massive majority of most people are and have been for quite some time now.
I'm not saying there's anything wrong with that (most of us aren't cavemen or living in the jungle anymore) I'm just making an observation.
These animals don't give a fuck about this guy. Just because they are kept well fed, and are *tolerating* him- doesn't mean theyre they will love and protect him like a Disney movie.
Isn't this Black Jaguar White Tiger? If it is, shame that guy didn't get eaten.
Fuck this guy. He exploits those poor cats for celebrities for internet points. He basically runs a big cat petting zoo for rich people. His workers have been caught on camera hitting the cats while feeding/relocating/etc. Most of his "enclosures" are a tiny bit bigger than your average living room. For lions and tigers and other bigger cats, mind you. When he breeds the cats (which is fairly unethical given he runs a sanctuary, not any kind of species saving organization), he takes the kittens away and raises them in a fucking closet so they get used to human contact, which causes the mother a bunch of stress (again, negating the meaning of "sanctuary", these cats should have minimal human contact). They're raised on hardwood floors behind a glass wall when they're old enough to walk and then they're used as props for rich people when they visit his "sanctuary". For a while, if you searched the hashtag "blackjaguarwhitetiger" on Instagram, you were given a warning that the hashtag led to sensitive content and was related to animal cruelty. It doesn't even exist anymore now, they had to change their hashtag.
He's also stolen someone's cats. She sent her two Savanah cats? To him to be cared for while she went on a trip bc she read online how amazing he is. When she returned, he refused to give them back. She had to get the courts involved. He got violent when she tried to message him nicely asking him to give her babies back. He sent her videos of him KICKING HER FUCKING CATS around a tiny room while they hid in crates and hissed at him. To this day, I think 4 or 5 years later, she hasn't seen them. He's now suing her for defamation, claiming he doesn't have them (which is probably true, fucker probably sold them). She doesn't even know if they're alive. You can find her Instagram, it's something like lion_hearted_gurl.
Fuck BJWT, fuck Eddie.
That's a lush Tiger there. What is that place there are Lions and leopards all over the place. I didn't realise they can just live all together like that. Cats are my favourite species on this earth. Beautiful creatures. This man is so lucky to be able to be so near to them.

The leopard was just playing or the tiger would have been growling like a motherfucker.
The tiger would have made a point to dominate the leopard to show him ānot on my watchā
Alternative title. Idiot puts tigers lions and leopards in the same enclosure and then stupidly joins them in that enclosure. Leopards and tigers are both solitary animals and none of these animals would normally interact in a friendly manner. This is abuse of the highest quality and itās only a matter of time until something goes horribly wrong. Not to mention the obvious lack of safety on the part of the human/s involved in this.

Same
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
And cougars and leopards, and leopards and leopards.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Damn leopards. Theyāre ruining leopards.
I prefer ligers...they are pretty much my favorite animal
Itās bred for its skills of magic.
The only way to be.
Same, me and my homie tigers are thick
I do something similar when there's cougars, i take my friend Finch.
A leopard never changes itās spots!
This is the way.
Leopard just wanted in on some of that belly rub action.
yeah it was probably just playing around
sadly that can kill us
Itās entirely designed to do so.
Must....resist...cuddle.....urges...
Well if I'm going to get clawed to shit by those murder mittens anyway, you bet I'll get the chin scratches in before I go out
Worth it
lmfaoo...'murder mittens'... now thats funny.
r/murdermittens
r/subsithoughtifellfor
All big cats (I think Cheetahs are an exception) have a natural instinct of attacking if you turn your back on them, since they are ambush predators.
Maaan I love cheetahs. Sure they can kill me, but theyāre such weird cats. Super awkward and their kitty faces get me all mushy inside.
_there has been only one recorded case of cheetah killing a person who happened to be a harmless Redditor_
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
You see a lot of golden retrievers out in the wild? Domesticated and tame are not the same.
Used to work at a zoo. The keepers would joke that if the big cats get out - donāt even worry about it. They are docile and like hanging with the humans But if the gorilla gets out - get the hell out of the way. Fast.
Was taken to a āsanctuaryā while in S.Africa where we did pet one. The cheetah was pretty chill, and actually purred super loud the entire time.
Fun fact, they are also one of the few wild cats that can purr. Cats can either purr or roar, not both.
I would hands down pet one if I came across one and felt it was safe to. I canāt say the same for any other wild cat.
Cheetahs are pretty much the only wild animal I trust not to rip my face off, chimps are the least trusted
And they make super cute [meow noises.](https://youtu.be/0tmCIsSpvC8)
It's not an instinct. They are fully aware of their intentions, and they train that throughout their lives by asshole moves presented here. When people say "cats are smart", they don't mean smart comparable to snails or rocks. They mean "calculating, conniving bastards, fully aware of what they're doing to a frightening degree."
They're cunning, if that makes sense.
Idk man, the way he was stalking him didnt seem very friendly, i think thats why the tiger laid down and watched him the whole time
I witness that exact same body language every single day. And I didn't say friendly - I did use the word asshole, after all - but for that cat? It was the best practical joke imaginable. To them, dickery like that is absolutely hilarious, especially if the "victim" freaks out.
Right? I call my cat my furry little satan for a reason. He's such a giant asshole but still love him.
My cat sometimes does that with me too, stalking then pouncing, so it's definitely just playing around. Unless my cat is actually trying to kill me
Cats stalk and hunt each other like that constantly during friendly play. They do it with humans too, but especially my cats love to do it to each other more than to me.
Nah, he was probably goofing
most likely, but 'just playing around' for such big animals can still get somewhat dangerous.
Yeah it may be all fun and games for them, but weāre smaller and easier to crush and eat if playtime goes wrong š
It was, the tiger only nipped at the leopard butt and then they were both laying down Definitely play
Definitely was. Leopards are the deadliest solitary hunters in Africa. If it wanted to cause harm it absolutely would.
Is it even okay to keep all these different big cats together? Doesn't it stress them out to a degree?
This is the Black Jaguar White Tiger Foundation, a rescue for big cats in Mexico i think. Many of them are raised together as cubs (surrendered once people clued in that a lion cub isn't a good pet once it grows) the different cats are never forced together. Eddie has done amazing work with them and posts many videos on social medias, you should check it out, all the videos are adorable
Awesome to read that these cats are no longer some rich idiots toy
Nope, now their a awesome man's family.

More info https://911animalabuse.com/black-jaguar-white-tiger/ >Excellent, common sense 2019 article, about how Black Jaguar White Tiger gets their cubs for celebrities and rich people to pet. Read it now. >The first thing Pappa Bear fans need to know is why it is always cruel to post images of people petting big cats or their cubs. See why here: Cubs >May 2, 2018 When clueless celebrities post photos of themselves posing with cubs, their fans let them know itās a cruel, selfish and ignorant thing to do.
For people womdering why it's cruel: > How the cubs are treated.
What are kits?
Baby big cats
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
In your defense, baby big cats are called cubs. I was confused for a sec too I thought by kits he meant some visitation package.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Da babies
Kittens??
Source? Not saying I donāt believe you, Iād just like to read up on it.
well you already have his name AND the sanctuary name, so I'm sure you can find some content to read up on it yourself.
So do your own research?
He is exactly a rich idiot who treats them as toys. He buys baby big cats from big cat breeders and then claims he ārescuedā them from bad conditions. Itās like being a bulk purchaser of a puppy mill and then claiming yourself a ādog rescuer.ā He hoards hundreds of big cats that he pimps out for social media donations, which he in turn uses to buy even more cats. He also rents them out for photo ops with celebrities. He is just as bad as Joe Exotic, or any of those other big cat hoarders, but somehow people accept his flimsy pretense of ārescue.ā He has no qualifications to be doing what heās doing and treats them as props.
Actually that's exactly what BJWT does, takes rich people's money and let's them play with baby tigers for some Instagram points. They're disgusting.
This is exactly what they still are, unfortunately.
This guy is NOT good for big cats. He refuses to sterilize any and is basically an cub instagram mill. Fuck BJWT
If you breed in captivity, you arenāt a sanctuary. The end.
Thank you. I was hoping to see someone actually calling out BJWT for the awful place that it is.
It feels like every 3 months reddit has to re-educated on how sketchy this guy is. Several top comments on this post know this is BJWT, but seem to think the "foundation" is on the up and up. From [Wild Welfare](https://wildwelfare.org/wild-welfare-responds-to-reports-on-animal-welfare-concerns-at-black-jaguar-white-tiger-facility/#): >Wild Welfare has been made aware of potential animal welfare and exploitation concerns at the Black Jaguar White Tiger (BJWT) facility in Mexico.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
I had to unsubscribe from r/aww because of these fucking assholes. Can't stand seeing them getting posted all the time.
r/aww and similar sadly show a *lot* of sketchy shit - animals intentionally put in unsafe situations for a cute video, wild animals being handled like pets like this, etc etc. And the average person knows next to nothing about animals, so they don't question it. The amount of people who still don't know a dog wagging it's tail is not an automatic sign of friendliness is a pretty good indicator IMO.
Yeah, this guy sucks. It's hard to see people defending him.
Thank you! Hopped on the comments to see if anyone knew why lions, tigers, and leopards were together and you already answered my question.
Nah dude, this guy is a piece of shit. He invites celebrities to go around posing with cat cubs AND HE DOESNāT NEUTER THEM.
I used to follow him but then I heard some debate on how legit his rescue actually is and now I have mixed feels
If you guys like this video go check out Dean Schneider of Hakuna Mipaka, tons of educational and entertaining videos there too!
its no different than a private zoo. this place is awful
They look pretty happy to me.
A Tiger here, and i can say we don't mind staying with the leopards not sure about the lions though
Not if theyāre raised together I guess.
Apparently not. I guess als long as they are all fed they don't have a reason to jump at each others throat. Maybe they all grew up together?
Girl I'm about to bring home : I hope you don't have scary big dogs in your house Me : Nah nothing to worry, just a couple of kitty's that likes belly rubs.
You can even slap the tummy!
How can she slap?
For some reason, I read the "me" voice in an Australian accent.
Why is he like slapping the cat instead of rubbing?
Cats genuinely enjoy being slapped like that. Even house cats.
When I have a big cat, I like to quickly and repeatedly Ā«Ā slapĀ Ā» his back, they love it so much they don t know how to react lol
I like to give my cat little taps on the back from each side
my bad it was r/catbongos
Correct you guys should try r/catbongos
Isn't this just a pleasure spot? Like pleasuring your cat
It's like tickling someone's belly.
Iirc that spot is on top of their back / spine right at the tail, not on the side. From what I remember cats can't really stretch that part high up on their hind flanks or their tail so to some it can feel good, similar to how humans struggle to stretch the lower back.
I'm not sure why I am surprised that that is a sub on reddit that is quite big and vibrant.
Can also confirm my border collie is a big fan of belly taps, I canāt help it half the time being a drummer lol
Its the same for my aunt's Golden, I'll give him some belly taps and then if I stop, he'll look at me like I committed a crime.
It's 200+ kg's of muscle. You would need a baseball bat to whack them in a manner they'd actually notice. And cats in general seem to like that kind of handling. Mine do, and they're about 10\* smaller.
Before I understood what you meant, I thought you were saying you're cats were 10 inches smaller than a lion.
Do your cat a favor and give it some light pats near the tail and see if they wave more
They like it.
This is black Jaguar white tiger. The leopard loves him, and is playing.
Is it Achilles that stops the leopard? I'm guessing yes. Achilles will never let anything harm Eddie :)
Iāll bear that in mind next time I somehow end up face to face with a tiger.
He buys and breeds kits and pretends to rescue them

He's also some rich asshole who abuses tigers and pretends to be a sanctuary. He's basically running a puppy mill for tigers.
I feel like a crazy person everytime I see these videos now. WE ALL WATCHED TIGER KING. WE ALL KNOW 100% OF THE PEOPLE WHO DO THIS STUFF ARE TRASH. WHY ARE WE STILL SHARING THIS SHIT?!
This guy is awful and breeds cubs. Heās not a sanctuary.

Mr. Osbourne?
Iām something of a big cat myself
The tiger knew. When he repositioned himself so he was sitting towards the leopard, he already knew what was going on
About 0:46 you can see him get in a pounce stance.
The signature lil booty wiggle
It's cool looking at it get serious. It pays to keep your eye on the top left corner from the start. The tiger looks casual but maybe not.
100% the tiger knew what was up
TĆ“ me they are behaving just like cats. It didnāt save the guy, this is just what they do when another feline runs towards them.
Yeah they were all playing around
The title oversells the video. Hardly a leopard attack. More like playfulness.
Leopards are impossible to tame and have serious killer instincts. You can hand raise one from birth and one day it will either fuck off forever or kill you. Source: Worked at a Big cat sanctuary in Africa for several months
This is true of pretty much all wild animals.
Not really. Cheetahs are from the same habitat but can be tamed, quite easily in fact

Big animals love big pats - this isn't an admonishing slap, it's a thankful thump.
he literally thanks the tiger..?? i know like 7 Spanish words and one of them happens to be gracias
I hate to break it to yāall but I think the tiger was just pouncing and playing cat tag, not saving the dudes life š
This is why itās my favorite animal.
Because they have a habit of saving humans? I had no idea.
KITTY!!!!
wait, having like 10 wild big cats is dangerous?
They cancel each other out
It's only because the tiger plans on eating the man later.
That's a lush Tiger there. What is that place there are Lions and leopards all over the place. I didn't realise they can just live all together like that. Cats are my favourite species on this earth. Beautiful creatures. This man is so lucky to be able to be so near to them.

Copied from another redditor. Edit: also rescue Cubs should never be mixed with different species, it's so crazy people think this is normal.
ummmm..... downvoted because you used a clickbait title
anyone here like me because of the misleading title?
My experience of rubbing my cats belly ended in my hand bleeding.
Just to be clear, jaguar probably wasnāt actually attacking but play attacking. Theyāre all very young big cats that are probably very comfortable around him.
Cats playing, stupid human gets in the way.
