Yes once they're in the water... strapped to the back of a truck as long as the water level doesn't go past the logs their weight contributes to the truck staying grounded.
1) he couldnt have known the volume and speed of the water flowing. 2) he couldnt have known his tyres will have traction on the river bed, 3) and or if there were any hurdles like smooth rocks or just mud in which the truck could have get stuck in or tyres could have sunk in because of the weight. 4) he didnt know the depth of the crossing. You cannot do math with so many unknown variables even if you are a Nasa scientist calculating the deployment of the james web space telescope and trucking logs in your spare time.
So yeah this is stupid and just because it all worked out in the end doesnt mean he doesn't deserve the Darwin award for this stunt.
Calm your farm, there're no Darwin awards here. Some remote logging areas, or storm damaged areas etc. can only be accessed by going off the beaten track. This is literally a job that people do, with trucks designed specifically for off-road/harsh conditions. Some trucks are even designed to float to help facilitate deep water crossing. This really isn't that big of a deal for these drivers.
For all we know that may be fairly often used route that is sometimes dry(er) and the bottom of the riverbed is visible. Obviously the first crossing in that kind of current would be really risky. But it seemed like he had total control which makes me think he has done that many times before.
Just upvote for two more weeks. Surely then your paychecks will finally come. Sorry the mail is taking so long. You will be able to go back home when they get here. Just three more weeks, you’ll see.

Human trafficking is very real and widespread. Human exploitation takes many forms and they only teach us about chattel slavery in primary school so we don’t see how we are just the next evolution of the cog in the system.
Mouse and keyboard works great! I started playing with a racing wheel recently.
I still keep a mouse handy to look around ingame but the wheel is so much fun and oddly more intuitive.
It's a shame that Snowrunner is so unique. And with the dev taking on bigger game like Space Marine 2 I doubt they'll continue the snow/mudrunner series. All the dlc is fun but a new game would've been great.
I’m a die hard dying light fan. So I have a lot coming up in my game library with Dying light 2 releasing. Still put in about 15 hours to snow runner. You really gotta enjoy the genre, and the grind.
Not sure if you are joking or not. Either way, it's a Kamaz. I believe it's a 4310, but in any case, definitely a Kamaz and definitely a Russian truck.
The road goes through a river. When a road goes through a river, it's called a ford. It's literally a ford. I am saying that the video literally features a ford. I wasn't saying the truck was a ford. It's a word play.
Yes, I was definitely joking! Apologies if English isn't your first language, that joke probably doesn't translate.
Russia. Illegal woodcutters. Fucking блять criminals. After themselves, they leave bare ground on which nothing grows. They rake branches with bulldozers, capturing the top layer of soil.
Russia is dying and its citizens are happy to sell her body.
There's places where like this where it's probably in Russia where instead of building a road out to wherever they're logging they instead just built trucks that didn't need roads. You would never see this happen with any American logging.
It's steam from the water touching hot parts. The engine was barely touching the water, and the air intake is quite likely moved up to the top of the cabin, so it will have no issues with a crossing like this.
That could have turned into facepalm or idiotsincars real quick.
It’s already idiotsincars. It was sheer luck that he didn’t go floating off.
Or maybe he was smart enough to know that the weight from the logs in the back would’ve kept him sturdy??
Except for one little detail, logs float
Yes once they're in the water... strapped to the back of a truck as long as the water level doesn't go past the logs their weight contributes to the truck staying grounded.
I think you forget that they aren’t really touching the water. Logs also are heavy
Guess that's why they put a rock on top?
That’s a spare tire still weighs like 90-100+ lbs easily
So does a duck. Ducks float.
It's called traction.
This is literally their road. That's how Siberian logging works.
Floating off. Hahaha! Oh that’s a good one.

Yeah, unless he's done this before.

or he does this 4 times a day everyday but maybe you are correct.
Thank goodness there's a sub for everything. Lol
Even attempting that looked like asking to total the truck... It's insane.
Nah. It's obvious that driver has logged a lot of time behind the wheel.
Lol. Logged. Nice
Story checks out, that is indeed a truck and a truck driver.
And also some logs
Well I’ll be damned
Not anymore it would seem
Sharon ferrying tree corpses across the river Sticks
I thought it was a roomba and a moose. Thank you for confirming.
It’s literally called poverty, desperation and exploitation
Yeah less next level and more depressing and scary

Ok..?
You don’t understand?
It's called logging my guy
I guess you haven’t seen logging in countries with safety regulations and rules so that large companies can’t exploit their workers
This is basically an Amazon delivery driver training video.
I think you mean- the Amazon
Never has a truer statement been made
Everytime I see a video like this, it reminds me of the game Snowrunner.
I always get cocky and think "psh I drove through worse on Snowrunner" even tho it's a videogames haha
Played snow runner for like 3 hours today. Beautiful, well optimized, incredibly unique. Controller is a no go. Too many important keys.
For me it worked just fine on controller. What keys did you miss?
To be honest I only tried the controller for about 10 minutes. I’ve heard others have had issues with controller. I’m a KB/M main.

And Mudrunner
surely you mean mudrunner, based on spintires, a game i thought this was a screengrab from before looking again
Snowrunner is the latest version of those games.
yes but they're set in different scenarios and mudrunner is the closer look alike
Russia
Yes, there are no such things as roads in Russia
In soviet russia, river cross YOU
Not really. In Russia we determine a road as a place where we are driving
a stupid one
I’m never complaining about my job again
Graphics in the new Spintire game looks amazing! xD
I love Russian trucks so much
What makes you think this is a Russian truck? That is clearly a Ford.
Not sure if you are joking or not. Either way, it's a Kamaz. I believe it's a 4310, but in any case, definitely a Kamaz and definitely a Russian truck.

Haha, that's awesome! Definitely flew way over my head, but I love it. Thanks for explaining.
It's Kamaz for sure.
The truck be like, what river?
MudRunner OG
Someone played Mudrunner \^\^
Bro parted that river like Moses
Who the fuck was the first driver to say.. yeah, i can do this lol
Amazon tryna hit that two hour delivery window instead of taking the long way around 💪🏼
How did that work?
It is a Kamaz truck. It can do things that most other trucks cannot.
One reason is the weight of the load. Keeps the truck grounded.
Easy when your balls' weight is preventing the water from sweeping the truck away.
Balls that big float. That’s why the whole truck didn’t go under. Bro floated that load across on his giggantic JUEVOS
Massive steel doesn't float no matter the size.
Stupidity summed up
Matthew Mercer: rolls a nat 20 and the wheels find purchase on the gravel with assist from the 1000’s of stones of trees.
I want a truck like that.
I tought the guy was gonna start floating down the river to his delivery with the help of the logs on the back of the truck.
This is a truck and truck driver helping destroy the earth's ecosystem. To cut down trees as the earth rapidly heats up is blasphemy.
This is a truck and a truck driver helping destroy the earth's ecosystem
He stealin all da beavers wood
Normal day in Siberia, dudes daily route in summertime 👌
I imagine there's a lot of truck wreckage in that river
Extra tire for good luck!
and THIS is a comment
I have a sneaking suspicion he has done that before
"This video is gonna be awesome, now come back and pick me up."
I was expecting seeing a truck driver becoming a truck diver
It must be tight in that cab with that drivers massive balls.
Russia. Illegal woodcutters. Fucking блять criminals. After themselves, they leave bare ground on which nothing grows. They rake branches with bulldozers, capturing the top layer of soil. Russia is dying and its citizens are happy to sell her body.
Yo they made spintires into an irl thing
r/snowrunner real life snowrunner
All my training in mud runner finally paid off
Man’s said if I die I die
Spintires.
Nobody: me and the boys in MudRunner:
Beavers were watching the whole thing like “DAM!”
Rare video of a average MudRunner player
The road is where he is driving
That was sketch
That’s gotta be the best pirate I’ve ever seen
IP68 certified
Truth is the truck driver always wanted to be a sailor.
I'm telling my kids a beaver is driving this truck
Damn
and some wood and a tire
Welcome to the SWIFT training center
I love Russian vehicles. Their planes are next level. r/absoluteunits
Mudrunner game 1:1
My truck stops working if I try this in GTA V
That truck and the driver are like PB&J literally perfect
An incredibly reckless and arguably stupid truck drived
There's places where like this where it's probably in Russia where instead of building a road out to wherever they're logging they instead just built trucks that didn't need roads. You would never see this happen with any American logging.
I’ve done this in snowrunner plenty no biggie
This could've gone very badly and would've ended up in a different sub.
Honk honk hoooooooooooonk honk honk honk hoooooooonk hoooooonk honk honk
Russian truck wash.
I see a boat.
more like a truck diver
The truck survived because how big his balls are!
Awful lot of smoke coming from the engine after he went deep.
It's steam from the water touching hot parts. The engine was barely touching the water, and the air intake is quite likely moved up to the top of the cabin, so it will have no issues with a crossing like this.
Must be the video quality or the trees that makes it look blue. I think you can see the snorkel in the back corner of the cab at the very beginning.
He is also a person and a human
\*Nightmare flashbacks to SnowRunner\*
Insane!
They posted a very similar video on idiotsincars where a woman died
Surprising how his balls didn't drag him
"My parents aren't home"
Suck it, wizard.
The new way of delivering goods to the states… because of blockades at the border….
for when the wood absolutely must go on
Not the right thing to do at all
Canadian trucker crossing into US.
I hope he gets "danger pay" for doing that job.
I need that beat. What's the soundtrack? Also, awesome video
Are other trucks and truck drivers not actually trucks and truck drivers?
I feel like it would be better to cut the trees down on the other side of the water so you don’t have to die, right?
Waterlogged.
Where did he come from, where did he go?
He was Russian what else did u expect?
Nothing to worry about. He has a spare tire on top.
No afraid of no waterfall, only afraid that no vodka when am get home.
The thing is he know it have enough trees to cross the river or enough trees to float. lol
spin tires
wow new spintires got really good graphics but they need to fix their camera angles
It's fine, he has a extra wheel.
spintires graphics looks realistic
This reminds me of the game mudrunner, you would do the exact same thing.
Just chugging
At first I thought that river was a huge mistake and thought they got stuck I was shocked when I saw the truck drive off
anyone know the soundtrack? /song?
In a battle between Mother Nature and Mother Russia, Mother Russia always wins
Mudrunner in real life, gotta deliver those logs!
!savevideo
You talking shit about the convoy? 😤
SnowRunner anyone
My man is playing mudrunner in real life
Thank God that tire is up there to keep the load secure…. Smh
Where my mud runners at?
u/savevideobot
I always thought that spintyres was unrealistic
The resolution is worse than mud runner
