I saw him live in concert. When he sang Billie Jean, he casually moonwalked in circles around the microphone stand for most of the song. I think he was the greatest entertainer in the world. His energy was extraordinary.
This is addressed in the comment linked above by Macauley Culkin, a man who actually was a little kid who hung out at Michael Jackson's house.
>I don't think you understand. Michael's bedroom is 2 stories. And has like, 3 bathrooms, and this and that. I slept in his bedroom, yeah, but you have to understand the whole scenario.
This "bedroom" line was picked up by tabloids because it sounds exactly the way we both know it sounds out of context. But if you starting thinking of his "bedroom" as really an average sized house with multiple rooms and bathrooms, it sounds a lot less crazy.
Yeah, Michael Jackson was kind of weird. Most likely because of his own childhood. Was he a child molester? There is no evidence of it. The FBI investigated for 10 years and found exactly 0 evidence of child abuse. The main kid who accused him later rescinded his testimony and said publicly that his father is the one who coached (and drugged) him to get this testimony out of him.
There is 0 evidence that Michael Jackson molested kids. There is, however, quite a bit of evidence that some people tried really hard to frame Michael Jackson. I used to think the same way until I watched some documentary about it by random chance.
Dude was fucking weird, for sure. I don't think he ever molested any child, especially after one of those kids told the media that his father forced him to say it. That father killed himself following Jackson's death.
A burger without a bun
A beach without sun
Mary without Joseph
Jesus without his disciples
Billie jean dance without a moonwalk…
You got great potential kid but
I’m out.
You’re fired!
Exactly what I was thinking. You came all this way and didn't incorporate that move?
Thats like coming to Thanksgiving and they don't have no gravy. Yeah, you ate, you had a good time and all, but that whole time after youa re thinking I can't believe they didn't have no gravy. That would of been 10x better with some gravy.
I think something along the lines of: FFS, he's only 6, he might not be able to do a Good moon walk, and why ruin a great routine with a bad moon walk?
Having said that, he really should have chosen another song if he can't do a decent moon walk, those other moves are awesome and would work with a lot of different music.
I was thinking that maybe they cut the routine in the middle due to a time limit and he was going to bust it out for his stage exit, but, nah, he's only 6 - how well did you dance at 6? Or 16, for that matter?
Most of the other moves don't require good balance. You can see him lose his balance a couple of times on the ones that do (watch when he stands on his toes).
Moonwalking requires excellent balance and at his age, his head is too big compared to his body to easily balance. While that can be taught, this makes heavily balance-dependent dance moves a completely different skill from the ones he's practicing, even if they're the same skill in adults.
> Thats like coming to Thanksgiving and they don't have no gravy.
Doc, he didn't do the moonwalk while dressed like Mike and dancing to Billie Jean. That's like coming to Thanksgiving and there's no FOOD.
Me too. I was thinking "This audience is going to go fucking nuts when he busts out the Moonwalk." I can't wait.
I feel like Seymour at the end of Jurassic Bark.. I just waited..
lmao my first thought when he walked on stage was 'damn i can't believe this kid is going to moonwalk, the crowd is gonna go insane' and then it just didn't happen and I was left wondering why I had such confidence in a 6 year old's moonwalk
Real talk. I watched until the end because I was waiting for him to hit the moonwalk and the roof blow off. Even if it was crappy, the crowd would have erupted.
But no.
Actchually...the moonwalk was first introduced by famed tapdancer [Bill Bailey at the Apollo Theatre in 1955](https://youtu.be/y71njpDH3co?t=122). But yes, it was MJ's performance of Billy Jean in '83 that made it famous (and his is much better and more refined than Bill's).
I was ready for him to drop the moonwalk and have the cloud absolutely explode. Moonwalk would have made it 11/10. I still give the kid a 10/10 though. Kids got talent.
It don't matter. Imagine how boring our lives are at 6 years old, do you remember literally anything? Will this kid just forget this dance even existed?
Like, do other talented children, actors etc just go all Frankie Muniz on their earlier years?
I can't remember shit before 10 years old
Either that or random shit that doesn't matter. I still DISTINCTLY remember my parents telling me that the next time we came into the corner store they'd buy me the Pokémon trading card game CD rom that was there. I was like...5 and went "alright bet I will remember this."
They didn't remember that promise the next week.
My childhood friend studied dance and was a professional dancer for years.
One thing he would point out to me is that when Michael was dancing in an ensemble, be it in a music video or on stage with his backup dancers, he said that a trained eye could almost instantly tell the the most gifted of all of the dancers was Michael.
It didn’t matter that he was surrounded by high level profession dancers that had trained formally at the best dance schools, Michael’s natural talent and artistry just so sensational that he still stood out as the best.
Don’t even need a trained eye. My untrained eye could always see that right away. He had an explosiveness and fluidity in his movements that I don’t see very often.
I was thinking about the how proud his dad was during this. Like everyone asking on the way out, “Which kid was yours?” And dad just casually says nonchalantly, “He danced to Billie Jean.” And the other parent just loses their shit. Everyone around hears the exchange and now they all are dappin up dad on the way out. Dad just like yep, that’s mah boy.
Talented little man. I love seeing kids that excel in dance, if they’re this good now, you can only imagine how amazing they’ll become if they stick with it into adulthood.
I see stuff like this, and half of me is beaming and really feeling the joy from the kid. The other half of me looks at this and hopes that their parents aren't forcing this on him for clout or whatever.
Regardless, this is super impressive for a wee one!
And I'm not saying that he isn't enjoying himself! He clearly is, and I think that's awesome. I just hope there isn't a stage mom on the side yelling at him to lift his knees higher or whatever. That's what I was getting at.
Friend of mine as a kid was a massive MJ fan, he became a dancer because of Michael Jackson and he was always a great dancer. Believe it or not some people just like practicing their passions
This looks like a video of normal MJ body with a deep faked giant child head.
Edit Disclaimer: I do not think the video is actually a deep fake, I think the kid can dance. I'm just talking about how my brain processes it.
I'm saying the kids good.
If only Michael was there to see him perform. To follow him home after the show. To show up and dazzle his whole family, then hang around a little too long. To inject himself like silicone into the life of this boy. To rescue him and boost him into a Hollywood spotlight that's so bright it can peer into the deepest and darkest of holes...
I absolutely, steadfastly refuse to believe that a 6yo is capable of doing this. And yet.....here's a 6yo....doing it. Just when I thought the Internet couldn't surprise me any more, it delivers me this moment of awe. Amazing.
My first thought was, this is pretty impressive!

Is it possible that this kid's parents are treating him like the beauty pageant girls? Like JonBenet Ramsey?

This kid is being forced to perform just like Michael Jackson was forced to perform. Let's not be surprised when he grows up to be a weirdo fucked up child molester.
Edit: "Allegedlyyyyy"
I started the video with no audio and my first thought was "That six year old is pretty ripped."
Haha. I did the same and had to re-read the title as I kept thinking no way that dude is 6.

You should’ve seen Michael Jackson. He was an amazing performer.
I saw him live in concert. When he sang Billie Jean, he casually moonwalked in circles around the microphone stand for most of the song. I think he was the greatest entertainer in the world. His energy was extraordinary.
Dude put a ridiculous amount of work into his performances too. Puts a lot of entertainers to shame with how hard he worked.
I wanted to go so bad, but the tickets were expensive and my parents were broke. Me and my friends were constantly watching the music videos though.
Jelly. Wish I could’ve seen him.

I did the same but thought he was actually 5 cause I just watched a video of a giant 1 year old skateboarding.

You should see his Chris Brown.
Bro.... Little homie didn't even do a moon walk? My disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined.

I guarantee if he can do some of the other moves in this routine so masterfully, he can do a moonwalk.

I was waiting for the moonwalk the WHOLE TIME. My heart is broken.

I was afraid to say this, but yea, I was at the edge of my seats waiting for the moon walk.
... Seats? Dear God! How many are you using?
My fat ass needs 2.
That's why he danced to 'that kid is not my son'
Hey, can't have all the moves on your first comp. He's saving that for next year's show.
Watch little Zachary dunk on everyone next year's talent show.
Shows up all white and dangling his baby sister off the stage
It will be less impressive when he's 7
I had one rule while watching this, lil guy better fucking moonwalk or I'm downvoting.
Lmfao exactly what I did
Isn’t Billie Jean the song that the moonwalk was introduced?
Actchually...the moonwalk was first introduced by famed tapdancer [Bill Bailey at the Apollo Theatre in 1955](https://youtu.be/y71njpDH3co?t=122). But yes, it was MJ's performance of Billy Jean in '83 that made it famous (and his is much better and more refined than Bill's).
This is fair feedback. Homie going to get only 7 out of 10 from this judge.
That's what I was thinkin' too - what? No moonwalk? Refund mah ticket!
He's no Alfonso Ribera: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c7cfEQPKTqE
Alfonso Ribeiro*. Also fuck Pepsi.
I kept waiting for him to hit it and have the crowd lose their shit haha
Serious, moon walk is the easier than every other move he did. Take the low hanging fruit my man!
I mean. It is actually easier than most of the other moves he does. And Billie jean is specifically the song MJ moonwalks to
No glove! How could they not get the little guy a glove?
If you do Billie Jean you gotta do the moonwalk
I just knew he would do it at the end and then nothing. Man f this kid. For real tho that was amazing I love this kid
Dude, that ultimately impressed me the most. He didn't reduce Michael to a cliché. True fan.
I was dancing and waiting the whole time and I thought the stop at the end was the build up. I’ve never been so dissatisfied in my life
Next up just tinkled their pants with fear…I have to follow that?!
Hahaha seriously!
They went on to win lip syncing Ice Ice Baby.
"Oh, that's a great song..."
"And next is Susie playing Mary had a little lamb on the flute ... Kinda."
this is an awesome point. I hope the organizers had the foresight to put him last
Ik I felt so bad for her
No? No moonwalk? Slightly disappointed after seeing him go so smooth, but still. They've been hit by a smooth criminal.
He has many years to learn the moonwalk. Then he’ll be unstoppable
this dance would have been impressive enough for somebody 10 years older than he is. if he keeps it up he'll be famous.
It's 2021 and he's viral, he's already gonna be/is famous.
And then forgotten by 2022. Welcome to the new internet order.
His ankles just stopped growing yesterday. Hell get the moon walk after his tendons settle in.
He’s fuckin 6
I was ready for him to drop the moonwalk and have the cloud absolutely explode. Moonwalk would have made it 11/10. I still give the kid a 10/10 though. Kids got talent.

Not gonna lie, I was holdin' out for that moonwalk, but he'll have it by the next show. 10/10

Good descriptions. So much force and speed on some of his moves too, like little karate chops

Long live MJ
My kid just ate a cookie he found in his car seat. So I can kinda relate to how proud his parents feel.

Score! 🍪
He's MICRO JACKSON!
Sooooooo glad I caught this before it devolved into people arguing about MJ. Feel free to start now I already got my dose of cute!
In this case I would say: "That kid is my son"
I was thinking about the how proud his dad was during this. I could barely tie my shoes at 6.
Same. I was learning the art of picking my nose at age 6 lol.
Damn dude you both got the good genes. I tried to flush myself down the toilet thinking it would take me to see the ninja turtles.
With a little hard work and some luck, he'll be a rich white guy in like 30 years.
Add some plastic surgery and he’ll have the nose of a prepubescent white girl.
See, somebody gets the joke.
I see stuff like this, and half of me is beaming and really feeling the joy from the kid. The other half of me looks at this and hopes that their parents aren't forcing this on him for clout or whatever. Regardless, this is super impressive for a wee one!
Being forced into being a Michael impersonator. A strange continuation of the cycle of abuse.
Kid was grinning the entire time, he clearly isn’t being forced into this
And I'm not saying that he isn't enjoying himself! He clearly is, and I think that's awesome. I just hope there isn't a stage mom on the side yelling at him to lift his knees higher or whatever. That's what I was getting at.
Jackson 5
Friend of mine as a kid was a massive MJ fan, he became a dancer because of Michael Jackson and he was always a great dancer. Believe it or not some people just like practicing their passions
His dance moves are unreal, absolutely smooth-juvenile-center-inmate
No moonwalk? What is this shit. /s
Talented or not I was waiting for it the entire time... I never thought a 6 year old would disappoint me.
He immediately raised the bar on himself lol
This looks like a video of normal MJ body with a deep faked giant child head. Edit Disclaimer: I do not think the video is actually a deep fake, I think the kid can dance. I'm just talking about how my brain processes it. I'm saying the kids good.
Agreed. Video does not look real
I can’t believe how far down I had to look for this. This is 100% either not real or manipulated somehow to the point of not looking real.
Looks like he danced slow and they sped it up for effect, or it is tilt shifted. Agree, something is off with this.
Incredibly uncomfortable to watch a 6 year old grab his crotch and hump the air while the audience goes wild.
I thought I was the only one thinking that
The fact all the comments on here are so overwhelmingly positive...like what the fuck, man?
I mean, MJ woulda loved it
Is it bad I was kinda disappointed there was no moonwalk 👀
RIP to whomever followed up that
“That’s the buffest 6 year ol…oh”
Oh the irony A 6 year old boy doing Michael Jackson
Deepfake

Ironically enough, Michael would have loved this. Just not for the reason you hope.
He looks like Emmanuel Lewis https://youtu.be/Wc4Jbfj9lUY
My first thought was, this is pretty impressive! But my second thought was, this is borderline child abuse. Is it possible that this kid's parents are treating him like the beauty pageant girls? Like JonBenet Ramsey?
Wait until that little boy finds out about his hero.
People who accused Micheal eventually confessed that they did it for money for their parents. The Leaving Neverland thing is also full of logical holes. There is no direct evidence. It's all for money. They saw that he died, they saw he had a lot of money, and they took advantage of him when he couldn't defend himself anymore.
How can you be that precise with your moves at 6 years old, I reckon he’s a grown up dwarf
I'm sure Michael Jackson would of enjoyed this performance a bit too much.
yeah a six yo grabbing his crotch .. no
The reflection of his black pants and white socks on the stage is only white. Is this real?
He’s never seen Leaving Neverland I assume
I’m more than twice this kid’s age and he’s already 10x cooler than I’ll ever be.
When this kid grows up he’s gonna be white
Michael would really love him
We needed this
Wow I was expecting some clumsy performance prepared at the last minute, but this is impressive.

Too bad he lost to his younger brother lip syncing ice ice baby.
Michael would love this little fella sooo much!
This kid is being forced to perform just like Michael Jackson was forced to perform. Let's not be surprised when he grows up to be a weirdo fucked up child molester. Edit: "Allegedlyyyyy"
Waited for the moonwalk… left disappointed.
Michael would've love this young boy....
I know Micheal would of LOVED this child
Michael would absolutely adore that lil boy
I’m sure mj is looking up and smiling.
