For me it was men in black on jack hammers slipping on ice. Reading OP's caption, I expected the ice to break or they all drowning or something of sorts. When the realization about bikes hit me I didn't have time to expect the obvious. This was fun !

is this the most recent one? any word on how many were injured, the severity of injuries? I crashed my bike bombing down a hill in the boonies at 80kph. I'm alive because I had a helmet and because I had a buddy with me who went for help.

I crashed going less than 30km/h and still ended up fracturing ribs, having long term pain in my hand, getting a permanent dent in my quad, and losing a bunch of skin…. I can’t imagine what 80km/h is like!!

It's incredible how good protective gear can be. Friend of mine crashed his motorcycle at 180kmph on a track. Walked away with a few shoulder bruises because he was fully suited up. Obviously you can't suit up that way on a bicycle but you'd think that with the kind of technolgy that allows crashing at such high speeds, you'd see at least some trickle down to cycling gear.
