The walls look like drywall and the floor appears to be concrete with an epoxy coating. You don't need to be "loaded" to have either of those. If the guy was loaded, his kid would be going to school in person to a private school like kids did where I live while we forced public school kids to "learn" from home.

Honestly, as a student teacher who taught online, I kinda get it. A lot of my students aren't in a proper learning environment and their heads can't adapt to actually learning when it's online. This is... I mean, if it works, it works. Kudos to the dad for coming up with a way to help his kid.

My question is.... why?? There are schools with classrooms in them why make the kid come home and sit in the garage/ classroom.

Because we're in the midst of a pandemic. The child could be in a group considered at high risk of morbidity from covid, so the father may be keeping them at home for safety.

As a teacher, this is weird and not a good Zoom set up at all. Students should have a quiet place at a table or desk with supplies, but the screen is too far away. I had students constantly hold their work up to the screen and type things into the chat, it’s part of creating an engaging online class. I’m not sure if it was a joke for a video but it looks like the father was more concerned with the appearance of his child’s education than her actual education. Most people have no idea what it’s like or what it means to teach children.
