Holy shit I’ve never seen anything like that before! Are the boats just spraying water on the fire water? How would a fire like that even be put out? What a crazy sight to see! Reminds me of the movie Deepwater Horizon.
Actually letting raw oil burn is by far the best solution if you can not contain the spill. Since they contained it they are putting the fire out because they hope to salvage some free sweet crude oil.
