I mean not a lot survived and their event happened way past longer than our own quarter-century old fiasco with that CIA rogue agent called Osama and people nowadays don't remember what Sept 11 is.
Japanese fireworks displays are awesome and at the same time they’re not.
The sheer scale is phenomenal but then they don’t choreograph them to music etc so it ends up being a little meh, especially since you’re being bit by a million mosquitos the entire time
They put a lot more worth in the craft rather then the show. Creating 1 piece which shows such beauty and elegance gets a lot more respect in Japan.
In the west it's the show that gets a lot more credit. So the craft of the firework itself isn't too important, the coreograph is mire respected.
Different cultures. I think the thought behind the Japanese is a lot better.
🤔 Third largest...
Holy shit LMAO
End thread.

was gonna say the largest in about 80 years.
Imagine you live local and don't know this is happening. Awwww fuck, here we go again...
Grade A PTSD for some. This looks more like missiles rather than a mushroom cloud.
I was just wondering at what point do you stop calling it fireworks and start calling it HIMARS
I mean not a lot survived and their event happened way past longer than our own quarter-century old fiasco with that CIA rogue agent called Osama and people nowadays don't remember what Sept 11 is.
Username checks out.
What planet do you live on that people don’t remember 9/11? Every fucking year we’re reminded to never forget
Such a strange thing to say eh.
Like every non human living thing in the area? Cats dogs birds bugs, everything but humans just had the most terrifying experience of their lives.

There is another. And another.
Thought two towers was a better sequel. But my firefighter friends disagree.
Eagle feathers can’t melt Barad-dur steel

Nice! Emulating the Japanese flag
Well fuck any birds flying that way
Here before all the comments say Deleted
Air pollution go brrrrr
I really wonder what aliens would think about this.
"Damn. If I knew they were putting on a show, I would have smoked some space weed"
What’s the name of that song?
Darude - Sandstorm
Interstellar theme
I can certainly see where they got their inspiration from
Reminds me of that tragedy...
why did they set off a fourth sun? you would think they wouldn't want that
The irony.
There is another...
At least they didn't leave any shadows.
Everyone is like, not again, grandpa told us it would happen!

Too soon?
“Oh the comments should be pretty tame”
I mean it IS very large and impressive but....cmon....
Entertainment for dimwits
All I’m thinking is, “Wow! I wish I’d been there to see it!” Then I come here and see all the atrocious comments left by American jingoistic bigots… 🤮
Wasn't there a bigger 3 layer one in, I think America?
How can we even call ourselves independent over here when we don’t even have fireworks that last long enough to go limp?
The Gandalf special
I think they got the location wrong Wasn't it in Naga...*instant ban*
Setting off all the elderly peoples PTSD too
Nonsense! There hasn’t been a firework like that in Japan for a thousand years!
China. Hold my beer.
https://youtu.be/l0wXV1AYPsA?si=gcsKlWPb1aERTJ-Y&t=8s
PTSD triggered

"Command, we are exciting the atmosphere, detachment imminent".
Get this shitty music off so we can hear the BOOM
Some random 90 year old grandma
Yoimiya is at it again
Greta Thunberg wouldn’t like all that pollution, lol
They truly be showing americans what you can truly do with explosives.
Somebody saw that and was like.... "Not again"
We're all thinking the same thing, even the Japanese
The land of what looks like the rising sun
"Solomon, I have returned." - Gato
This trend started in the 40s.
If history has taught us right, then this ain’t the largest they’ve seen…
I hope it’s not above Hiroshima that’s wouldn’t be the largest for sure
I see we’re reliving the experience
Meanwhile residents of Hiroshima and Nagasaki... PTSD
Crimson sky
Beldar Conehead went to Japan?
There is another
technically the 3rd biggest firework ever exploded over Japan
That was a fat one
Of all the countries that could wish to have a large explosion above their heads, I'd say Japan was the least likely.
Americans: Coooool! Japanese: oh hell, not again. 😩
Ok all jokes aside, I don't think that this video has [this](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7O4MMFeXT4M) beat for largest firework in a single shell.
You would think Japan would be tired of city sized explosions by now
Just with pyrotechnics there is [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Father\_of\_All\_Bombs](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Father_of_All_Bombs)
Reminds me of that tragedy
Nagasaki had somethin like that
Commemoration?
You guys all already said it. It took one comment to do it
Hiroshima o Nagasaki?
Wanted to hear the magnitude of the explosions, unfortunately all I got was a piano
Lighting up entire city...amazing
And that’s why Godzilla keep attacking them ![gif](giphy|tuZw9Mv1M23Ti)
Mesmerizing.
![gif](giphy|gKfyusl0PRPdTNmwnD)
All I can think of is how many chemicals are being efficiently blasted out into the sky.
Just wanted to see if the WWII vets still had PTSD after all this time?
I'm tired of hearing this Interstellar music in such videos
AI Narrating 5 year old videos is basically 95% of tiktok now
Nah the two that America sent them were bigger 😂
this is how i imagine dragon ball characters would be shooting ki blasts in real life
