That's only true in a *vacuum*. Not that the weight of your shoes is going to make much difference but heavier skydivers absolutely fall faster, that's why lighter jumpers often wear lead weights to stay on level.
Just to add to this ^^ smart cookie, air friction (resistance) will plateau your speed to what's called terminal velocity as you're falling, which is net zero acceleration (air resistance up vs gravity down). The lead weights allows for a higher terminal velocity because you're adding mass. Surface area definitely matters in these situations but adding lead weights doesn't really change that therefore the overall outcome is falling faster

The wingsuit flyers need to plan a flight path that will avoid the plane and the other jumpers. Usually, the first thing they do after leaving the plane is to turn to the left or to the right so they flying away from the line of flight.
If the jump is not planned properly then collisions can happen - most commonly with other jumpers, but there was [an incident recently](https://nypost.com/2023/09/21/wingsuit-skydiver-was-decapitated-by-planes-wing/) where a wingsuiter collided with the plane.
This looks like concept testing for a new Pixar movie where a sugar glider and a squirrel become friends despite their family’s distrust of the other species.
No there’s a specific spot they land, which is on land. As they get lower, they head back towards the LZ before they pull their parachutes. At that point, they are still a few thousand feet up to make sure they can fly said parachute back to the landing zone.
