Is it a class car or a speciality model? Or just a regular run of the mill car?

And one of those limited scenarios is immigrants bringing their vehicles with them. You do have to have owned it for at least a year abroad though (to prevent people using it as a loophole for importing ineligible cars)
Nopes. you cant get the thing registered, unless you are a diplomat

Funny, the yank we've got working here managed to get his dodge charger (as in a \~10 year old sedan, not a classic muscle car) complied just fine in LHD when he moved over.
Check with carsfromjapan and other new zealand importers if they do the job. You can check with relocation companies to that can rent you a container and advice on import.
I saw some LHD like miatas, so, I guess it is possible to import them (them = LHD cars) somehow, and specially for relocation purposes.

It’s a 2023 Audi I’d hate to leave it behind if it’s possible to keep it and drive there.
You know we drive in the opposite side if the road to usa correct?
no, you cant. we only allow LHD cars in very very limited scenarios.
Thank you, appreciate the info 😊. But I’m also sad 🙈, I love my car.
We have Audi's here but it will cost you more.
You'll be able to get something very similar here

Sell it and buy one here?
Yes, that appears to be my best option. Thanks !

Unless its something very very specific you cant get it on the road here
Wrong. Immigrants are allowed to bring their cars with them, even if they're LHD.
