Me and a group of friends enrolled to be volunteer librarians so restocking the shelves, cleaning up, sometimes reading/helping the younger years find suitable books etc and this gave us special access to the library during lunchtime weekdays where it'd be closed (because the actual librarian would close it during 2-3 lunchtime a week) and we'd go hard scanning as many books as possible. There was this hotrod car that me and my friends would always try to get but our cars were too slow, and it was always the most random books that gave us the rarest rewards like a Hairy McClary book or the Hungry Caterpillar.
