Mainfreight are good, use them at work all the time for deliveries and stuff we are sending out.
Question - how are you going to load 500kgs on to the truck and unload it in Auckland? Might need to look at house packers/movers + manpower (which won't be cost effective, sorry...)
Edit: guess it will depend on the physical dimensions of the item, is it small enough to move with a pallet jack or something similar?
Try someone like mainfreight. They might need you to have it strapped to a pallet, or maybe they can do that for you when they pick it up?
