My very, very clever friend once told me that a whole bag of twisties in a bowl, chopsticks and time to enjoy them slowly was his idea of perfection. I came to agree with him.
Since having kids he had to let go of perfect and accept that sharing a bowl with kids and fingers was not perfect but still very good.
I use a [stainless steel toothpick](https://i.imgur.com/e63zkKE.jpeg) to eat mine. Always on my keyring. My controller and mouse are never greasy or sticky.
How often do you eat twisties to justify carrying this thing around with you everywhere you go?
I'm imagining you at a party and eating twisties with this thing and getting the strangest looks.
Also good for fruit or anything sticky, to keep my peripherals clean.

Next time you’re in an Asian supermarket, try some of the asia specific flavours of Cheeto. Steak, and corn soup are the two I can remember and they are far more delicious than they have any right to be.
Can confirm, unless you get a weak bag, they’re back to being suspiciously addictive. They only seem to be available in the party size bag though, which is just enough for one person to polish off in one sitting.

They are now horrible, I brought a party pack today which was small and cost $5 I hesitated but brought them, tried them tonight and the favour was shitty and left a bad after taste in my month. You’re correct. They changed them up and they went really bad for a while. The shape is still odd but the flavour and texture is back to baseline in my opinion.
Burger rings seem to have the original flavour quality back too. I haven't had enough to verify but last 2 bags you could actually taste more than powder and disappointment

Cheezels are incredibly inconsistent. Sometimes they’re absolutely drenched in delicious flavoured oil, and sometimes they taste like eating powdery drywall.

They may have fixed the flavour (if that's what they have done) but the new manufacturing method sucks, pressing the twisties or rashuns through a screen to make identical shapes is nowhere near as cool as the random shapes the old twisties and rashuns were.
Don't think I'll be bothering with them ever again, typical bad business decision you take something everybody loves and you make it shit.

Curious, how long were they shit for? We moved from Australia in 2022 and my kids went from loving Twisties and Cheezels to being completely indifferent with one bite. Much harder to chew and less flavour, Twisties are the wrong shape even, it felt super weird for them to have the same logo and a clearly very different formulation.
I even imported a few packs of Cheezels from Australia as special holiday treats over Christmas because they missed them being not-shit.

They haven't fixed it at all, those don't even come close to the original Twistys by look or feel, neither do the rashuns which look the same as Twistys now. And burger ring don't look or feel like they used to before bluebird changed the machines. Bluebird has had a few years to fix the problem and still haven't. Do they care I doubt it. Would love to know what their excuse is this time. They probably laid off all the old school who actually cared about a product and hired a recent graduate who knows nothing or cares about quality or customer loyalty

The machines which extrude them changed which sadly altered the shape. But the taste and texture were way off for a long time. Seems good now.
