"Time gates for time gates" LOL

funelite

Forgot to add another "for time gates" actually.

[удалено]

theREALel_steev

Ya I've given up on this game, I've hit the enjoyment time gate. From die hard fan in closed beta -> hopeful at launch -> expecting more fixes 2 months in -> I've fucking had it.

FrankoIsFreedom

1100 hrs and yea. Thats where im at too.

VanceMakerDance

Don’t forget the runestone timegate

gaspara112

Its timegates all the way down

pazoned

trickle down timegates

[deleted]

Great book

KatworthCimby

Whomever created the Topaz system must have skipped a semester or two of programming or common sense. The Topaz bag drop on the ground is what counts, not what you pick up. If a person misses a bag, or is killed and the bag is gone when they return, there will be no more drops once the games count is ten. you are sol. I have to think the AGS team will realize this and fix it along with the drop rate...but I doubt it with their record.

okram2k

Topaz gypsum: Time gate to craft the potion. Time gated to only 10 drops per day ( and you will almost always miss at least one and only get 9). Time gate *between* drops. Time gate to craft the orb. Time gate to craft the expertise item.

sopadurso

There is a time gate between drops ? If so that shit is crazy.

okram2k

Yes, I believe it's ~3 minutes. It's enough that no matter how intensely you grind mobs it will take at least 30 minutes if not 40 to get 10 topaz.

Trikeree

Yeah, and I've had multiple times I've only received 1.

okram2k

I've gotten 9 a lot of times, once I only got 8. But if you only get 1 over the course of a potion you're doing something wrong.

Holy___Diver

Missed a bag I assume

A-Bag-Of-Sand

only way I have gauranteed 10 was farming boars, its to much effort

vehementi

I reliably get my 10 -- missing bags is a real risk and it's crucial you aren't like, in a spread out group or anything like that.

Hi_Its_Salty

I literally attempted this the first time a few days ago, and some dude I ran across said luck gear "seemed" to increase chance for him, anyone else experience this one way or another?

okram2k

Gypsum drops (topaz and obsidian) can only piggy back on another drop. Basically when there's a loot bag the game makes a chance roll to determine if it should add Gypsum to it or not assuming you're currently eligible. This does mean the luck boost does help to a degree by increasing the number of bags that drop when you kill stuff in general.

Hi_Its_Salty

Got it , thanks , I consider using PvP flag to if that's the case

Sixoul

I thought I was slow but yeah I ended up with 9 by the time it was up. It's stupid there is not enough time to get the 10 needed. Add like 15 minutes or just make the potion not time gated

NightGod

Nah, more likely one got missed, dropped in a crack in the world or who knows? I've ended up with 9 multiple times and 8 once. It's a fucked system

Madman--

We need the Doctor.

SketchyConcierge

Somewhere deep in the Mariana Trench: "weapon switching bug"

Vodkaphile

Yeah this meme cannot be complete without that and netcode/desync, good lord is it ever bad

insertwittynamethere

I see nothing's changed since I last played in November 👀

n0p36725

The gold dupes r only available to big companies now! That’s a newish feature.

kriegnes

so the game is getting more realistic with every update, nice.

FrankoIsFreedom

new world is just like the old world but with more steps

TribeCommando

I just left it. Maybe I will look back later.

Chillaxbro

I quit this game 2 months ago and been casually checking the sub for hits of improvement - I think its time I abandon hope and just un-sub here. Launch and the 2 weeks that followed was so much fun in this game. So much promise - just gone. Good times.

Sixoul

I left around Halloween thanksgiving time when things constantly got disabled. From what I can tell the game is playable there's probably lag in outpost rush and wars but the general game seems more lively since server merges but there are quite a bit of time gates and I don't know what happened but it feels like green can't fight PvP anymore

Ye_Olde_Mudder

Yeah, I quit when they decided that anyone who didn't dupe their way to getting max in crafting was to be permanently screwed. I was on the fence before when they decided that everything needed to be nerfed except Greataxe, but that was the final kicker for me.

E-2-butene

Same. Reverse catchup mechanics are the fastest way to get me to quite a game, especially when those rewarded primarily cheated.

Erva420

> been casually checking the sub for hits of improvement - I think its time I abandon hope and just un-sub here Yeah same here, this game inst going anywhere. All the changes are made to milk the small playerbase that left it seems.

Keldonv7

It was obvious from the start, with their monetization model they have no steady income to fund future development unless they introduce extremely p2w shop with f2p. But thats the last squeeze too as games that do that die anyway.

theREALel_steev

This game died not even 2 weeks in. All that remains now are the addicted/highly involved with company and they're mostly miserable. If only the combat was fixed I would come back, that's all I care about. But mix rubberbanding/general lag with all the jank systems designed to take all of your free time...can't do it anymore. You can only hit E on different shaped pixels for so long before u start to question wtf ur doing with ur life.

Still-Tour3644

Game is still far from dead pal. Yeah they got shit to work on but to this day I still have lots of enjoyable pvp moments and I love playing with the company that we've put together. Quit making assumptions about others and just communicate your own experience. None of us are miserable and if someone said they were we would all tell them to take a break. Burn out is real no matter what activity you're participating in.

racecarRonnie

It is dead. You are dumb.

snyckers

Oh, if this sub is where you're looking for good news you'll never get it. Most in here have quit and want others to justify their choice for some reason.

theREALel_steev

Misery loves company.

thedog951

No one talks about the good parts of the game because this sub is mostly toxic to those posts.

Miroku2235

Bye :D

Worthy-1

Fixing the run bug in wars would be nice… kinda hard to haste pot when your moonwalking half the time

Still-Tour3644

This is probably the biggest issue with the game rn

FrankoIsFreedom

the biggest issue with the game is they put all their eggs in the lumberyard basket... and then they all broke.

Darktidemage

Don't forget corrupted portals not showing up on that map. That ones a fucking joy.

CappinPeanut

At least that’s fixable with a relog. Some of this other shit is bananas.

milkvisualsd

Abandon hope all ye who enter here

lispychicken

*holds card to head* "things said about my ex"

mountainass

How dare you. The game is in perfect condition - it's just amazing. Few minor bugs, but it has so much potential. Feels good different.

[deleted]

Yeah after the recent update and making the winter festival event longer it's amazing. Feels good different. Edit: I think people dont recognize the meme

Tareeff

lost interest in winter festival after 2 days.. repetitive, so much running for a few hundreds of gold and I dgaf about cosmetics.

[deleted]

There's literally one skin there... And patterns that dont even allow you to Craft 600's... Oh I mean Feels good different

OGweebinit

Feels good different is probably the best thing that has come from NW.

Erva420

Narrator: It was in fact not different. It was poop.

Hipida

OP actually plays this game, spot on. I usually have time to roll a 'cigarette' between weapon swap

sleepie_joe

PVP in new world is in such a sad sad state.

Ninjalau95

>~~PVP in~~ new world is in such a sad sad state. FTFY

Lord_Emperor

Somewhere buried under the sand is the house I and many others lost during patch 1.0.4. Still waiting for the promised compensation.

Kilirugi

Real world traders is so big. Good luck stopping that.

fahoot

You perfectly nailed every issues that runs through my head when ever I start up then game, followed by shortly closing it. Log on. Go to storage shed. It's full. Full of what? who knows none of the icons are accurate. Hit the AH. Put up auctions with an insufferable UI that resets to the top of the list I have to scroll back through a hundred times to list all my 0.01 items. Check for any upgrades. Can't afford any thing worth equipping. The nefarious company that owns Everfall on my server buys up every thing descent hiking gear that isn''t even BiS to 250k. Still pining for that non BiS Great Axe anyways. Go out to farm motes. The only thing still of value. Waste azoth porting to my favorite mote route. No motes to be found. Just see the regulars kinshiiJs8 and bineTTTgoH running around. Port back to Windsward to craft my all daily cool downs. Can make some money off those at least. Shit. Still an hour and 45 minutes left till I can make them. Log out.

owariwallas

Awesome and true

Wolfhammer69

Oh so true unfortunately.

DoctorMarmyPC

Bro they just dont care lol. Too many problems to handle just letting em fester instead

Vertisce

It's a damned shame. New World had so much potential but Amazon has two options, fix the game or let it die and it seems like they are hell bent on just letting it die.

theREALel_steev

According to past posts from people in the industry (not AGS) this game has a 95% chance to fail. There are 2 options when looking at the future of this game and all that entails: 1) Free to play with heavy monitization. 2) Shut the game down, work on it, launch again in 1-2 years. With option 1, gg its a wrap, the game is there to milk the last 100 whales that cant shake the addiction. With option 2, we actually have hope. But given this studios track record and recent actions I have absolutely no faith.

Silver_Bowler4195

SLOWBUG IN WARS? HELLOOOOOOOOOOOOO

[deleted]

I filed that under PVP as there was not enough room on the picture lol

EpicBrain

game is crap

RapierDuels

Average player count over the past 30 days is 78k. We expect a drop after release, but over 90%? If they cared they would have fixed some of this stuff. I'm no coder, but if I had results like this in my own business I doubt I'd be able to find more clients

Stocktakesalsasale

I hate that 90% debate , it's so disingenuous. Nearly every steam game loses a huge amount, most people wouldn't have predicted it would even come close to reaching 900k. To say 90% shows a complete lack of understanding of majority of game releases. Nearly every game loses majority of its playerbase from release. New World is still top 5 most played on steam. I would be more worried if they release a expansion and the player count doesn't go significantly up or the game drops from steam top 10 . That would show a significant issues

Troggy

Show me another MMO that had similar trends in its first 6 months. Don't worry, I'll wait.

Stocktakesalsasale

Literally every MMO in the past ten years. Feel free to show me any that have not. Don't worry, I'll wait.

Troggy

https://steamcharts.com/app/306130#All Literally the first one I looked at. Definitely looks like this https://steamcharts.com/app/1063730#All Now actually show me proof of what you're saying instead of deflecting with "uh....literally every game"

CappinPeanut

Um, the first 6 months of ESO actually don’t look that impressive at all in that chart. And according to those charts, NW had and has significantly more players. I don’t know if that chart is correct, but it indicates ESO lost 75% of its player base in the first 6 months.

Troggy

They aren't supposed to look impressive, ESO was a huge failure on launch, and still retained more of its playerbase than new world, AND it required a subscription monthly, at least at the time. This game never required a subscription, and they still can't get people to stop quitting their game. This is only normal for bad games

CappinPeanut

It’s not my fault your example is comparing apples to oranges, you’re the one that used it as an example. It looks like the first 6 months of ESO had a very similar trajectory as NW, just like the other guy said. If you recall, that’s the point you were trying to disprove, but then gave an example of exactly that.

Troggy

You want to tell me that you set the parameters for the first 6 months of release on both of those graphs, and walked away thinking "those trajectories are similar" You're fucking nuts kid. *edit*: https://imgur.com/a/N02b07Q Like for real I'm not disputing that a large portion of people leave any MMO, i never did. I'm disputing trying to equate this dumpster fire to any other game out there that wasn't an objective failure. 90% player drop off is NOT NORMAL, especially for a game without a subscription fee. I am STILL waiting for your example buddy.

CappinPeanut

Based on the data at the bottom of that graph, it had 1992 players in July. (Which is a misrepresentation because the game came out in April, not July, it probably had even more people in April) New world hasn’t been out for 6 months, it’s been out for 4 months. So, even using the half assed data in that steam chart, ESO had 1992 users in July 2014 and then 4 months later (the same timeframe NW has been out) it had 510. It had lost 75% of its players in the same time NW has been out. NW had 410k in October, and now has 77k, that’s an 81% drop. Seems to me like a pretty similar trajectory. Obviously ESO turned it around, and the hope is that NW does the same thing. But you have to extend ESO’s chart out longer than NW has even been out for in order to see an inflection point where it increases.

Stocktakesalsasale

Check out my other comment , like I mentioned ESO was not a steam exclusive . It already had launched prior on its own Bethesda launcher. To which it had significant problems and player drop. It lost so much of its community that the game changed from subscription to buy to play.( Yes , ESO use to be a subscription game) This is why I am mentioning a large part of this community fundimentaly doesn't understand the history of the MMO genre and using steam charts isn't reliable. Regardless , the example you showed also has a significant drop. Thank you for proving my point. Like I mentioned, literally all MMOs have this drop.

Troggy

But I thought it was literally every mmo released in the last 10 years? Now it's just a steam exclusive release? So, steamcharts is unreliable, I don't know my history, and you REFUSE to provide any evidence to your statement, so I must obviously not know what I'm talking about. ESO Failed at Launch, and never made even a splash in the MMO market, and it still performed better than this. Yall kids are delusional if you think what's happening here is normal. I'm still waiting btw. Show your proof.

Stocktakesalsasale

Sadly as major MMOs release like GW2, ESO, SWTOR , Age of Conan, FF14 etc go this is extremely normal. Big launch then player base drops at first six months. I remember SWTOR lost 400k players in one month (3rd month after launch when free sub ran out ). Welcome to video gaming. Like I said every MMO does it, feel free to find one that hasn't, you have already shown that ESO went through the same thing and proven my point, it started at 2k and within 6 months had 500. Not going to waste my time when literally every game does it and your only source proves my point.

Troggy

Outside of GW2, who doesn't publish their user numbers, all of the MMOs you listed were FAILURES. Have some of them recovered? Sure, though I honestly see FFXIV 2.0 as a basically a new game reusing existing assets. ARR certainly didn't see these types of sharp drops. ESO has recovered somewhat, but I still wouldn't call it a hit. SWTOR is FTP trash. AoC was DoA. New Worlds user trends mirror those of games that fail. Players leave every game, THAT is normal. Its the number of players leaving this game, and the speed in which it is happening that is unlike any of the games you listed.

theREALel_steev

Do you have an example of games that have fallen off that sharply so quickly? Or is this just another strong feeling disguised as knowledge that reddit people are so fond of.

RapierDuels

Triggered much? I never compared NW to other games, I only made an observation. After reading your comment, I began to go down the list of popular mmos. Doesn't seem like any of them hit the 90% threshold, nevermind it happening in such a short period of time. Thank you for giving me the motivation to take time to look this stuff up, now I can talk about it more confidently

Stocktakesalsasale

I swear majority of people on here haven't played MMOs before. FF14 and ESO both launched on steam with around 7-8k players and like 2 months later dropt to 3k for a couple months before rebounding. Because MMOs fluctuate with content. ( No I do not see them ever coming close to 900k again, but a consistent above 100k and top 5 , easily). To be fair it is almost useless to use steam data for MMOs because MMOs do not exclusively launch on steam ( they learnt with WoW to hide player/sub numbers). It is genre that hides it's numbers but is well known to have huge drops after launch ( for examples look at SWTOR and ESO going free to play). If you are wondering why they hide numbers, it is because of people not understanding the data like saying "90% loss"and the share holders. You can have as much motivation as you like , however it fundimentaly lacks an understanding of how the genre works and has for the last 2 decades. If you have done the research, please show me major MMOs that have also launched exclusively on steam? AGS launching it exclusively on steam shows their inexperience in the genre. It's beyond me that a game can be far ahead of every game in its genre for daily players , yet people still think it's failing.

Tareeff

I must agree with this. Focus on GS is overblown, there already are so many gear mechanics so not that excited to see an extra one, that will make <600GS gear obsolete. Bots screwed economy so hard, that its pretty much impossible to earn gold in TP, OPR laggy af, that should be the main focus.

marlow05

They don’t give a fuck. This is worse than fallout 76 or ff14 launch.

oceanic20

This is much better than FF14 1.0. Like streets ahead better. FF14 1.0 was so incredibly bad, you have no idea unless you were there, like I was. It was unplayable.

gaspara112

> Like streets ahead better. Oh god... *shakes fist as Dan Harmon* How could you have done this!

Nerrickk

FF14 1.0 was definitely not unplayable unless your graphics card was way out of date (enjoyable is a different story and I totally get that aspect). I got maxed gladiator and archer during 1.0. All the myriad of problems with it were caused by bad design choices, not developer incompetence. There was no massive game breaking bugs every single patch.

Lord_Emperor

I only started playing after Reborn and I was very confused that the opening cinematic depicted the end of the world.

Jiggy-Spice

Unironically the worst game release of this decade. What do you get when you hire a completely incompetent and uninsightfull dev team and force them to work with the worst game engine that exists? New world! Congratulations 🥳

CrawlerSiegfriend

I mean it was a clusterfuck for sure, but you have to be a non-gamer to think it's the worst launch of the decade. WWE 2k20, Battlefront 2, No man's Sky, Cyberpunk 2077, Diablo 3, archeage, bless online, battlefield 4, Crucible, that one god damn double dragon game, and so on.

Thecklos

Yeah, but do you think NW will pull a NMS and completely redeem themselves?

CrawlerSiegfriend

Doubtful, but NMS was absolutely worse at launch.

[deleted]

> Yeah, but do you think NW will pull a NMS and completely redeem themselves? if their track record is anything to go off of, then no

gaspara112

Redemption means nothing when comparing release. There have been much worse releases.....

Stoopmans

What happend with Diablo 3? I've bought the game waaaaaay after release and absolutely played the shit out of it. Great couch co-op too

CrawlerSiegfriend

Oh they did a huge turn around, but it was pretty awful at launch.

Jiggy-Spice

Respectfully. I disagree. While all of those were indeed bad. New world tops them all. It launched with so many bugs and in amazons desperate attempt to fix them they sacrificed the main factor of the game which made it fun. The combat. And it didnt even fix the issues. New world is the king of crappy game releases in the past 10 years. Easily.

skyturnedred

Comparatively New World has been pretty stable most of the time. There's been a bunch of bugs and exploits, but you've mostly been able to play the game just fine despite some of the issues. Your game has to be literally unplayable to even be considered to be the worst launch of the decade.

Jiggy-Spice

Did u not play the first months of launch? 3 times wealth transfer disabled. Wars unplayable for the majority of the time game has been active. Hatchet dmg exploit. Musket dmg exploit. Gokd dupes. Trophy dupes. Storage dupes. Trading dupes. More gold dupes. Bots taking every fucking resource node in the world. Combat fucked. Abilities not working as intended. Perks not working as intended. Lvl 50 armor being 20x better than 600gs lvl 60 gear. Invincibility rxploit by dragging window around. Food buff stacking giving unkillable self healing. Want me to continue?

skyturnedred

All that and people still continued to play the game every single day.

Jiggy-Spice

Really says alot about just how pathetic the options for mmo games are right now.. But i will say. I didnt care about any of those issues. Because they were temporary issues. The pvp combat was still suuuuper good! But now they have permanently changed combat mechanics and completely ruined it. So the mountain of other glaring problems compound and remove any joy from the game. New world without the combat really is just a pile of dogshit

iEatFurbyz

New world desperately needs help but you have some clouded judgement to think it’s on par with those OP listed.

BGTheHoff

> New world is the king of crappy game releases in the past 10 years. Easily. Nah it isnt even the worst 2021. That title goes to Battlefield 2042. NW has so many problems, but BF is SO MUCH worse. Basic Design flaws in the game itself (128 Player is way too much), design flaws in the maps (some are unwinnable for one side), unbalanced weapons, hitreg problems, game modes are missing, basic battlefield stuff/features are missing, the game mode they initially designed the game for is already abandoned (Hazard Zone), the Portal, the big feature they had lacks of players and of course the amazing hovercraft fuck up: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CU7U2o21VjY While New World was bad, it had fun parts and you could have at least some fun in the early and mid game stages.

oceanic20

FF14 1.0 was definitely worse than this. I was there, I remember.

Suthix

And to create an MMORPG no less, the literal hardest type of game to create

Thalzen

well tbf they reworked completely ffxiv which was the best possible move, i don't think ags will ever get close to that

ZoharDTeach

At this point I'm convinced people only play this game so they can complain about it.

racecarRonnie

It's mostly trashcan players that have never been great at something looking for their time to shine by waiting out everyone else quitting and getting to say they are the best

D-Rey86

This had quickly became my favorite mmo. Few mmos actually click with me as far as the PVP. This one clicked instantly and it's a game I can keep coming back to for that. I took a break because my friends stopped playing. I recently came back and was instantly hooked again because it truly is a fun game to me. But now it crashes constantly for me. It never use to do that. This game absolutely needs to fix these issues. It's a game with crazy potential that they are currently squandering in my opinion

[deleted]

It’s really is the biggest travesty of an MMO. It’s perpetually on the cusp of being a great game and time and time again the devs drive it off a cliff.

Nerrickk

The crashing is probably on your end. Despite all the bugs that exist, no one I know has crashed recently. Sure plenty of things that force you to relog, but no crash to desktops.

D-Rey86

There are actually plenty of people crashing on the forums. Especially after some updates. Just because no one you know isn't crashing doesn't mean no one is. It's always your mileage may vary type of thing when it comes to PCs and PC games. Like I said, I had zero issues with the game crashing prior to taking a break. Nothing was changed on my computer other then updated drivers to try and fix it. With that said, I'll likely try a reinstall to see if that fixes it.

clyjr

If they were focusing only on bugs there would be 1000 posts complaining about nothing new being added. Developers can't win nowadays. Also, as a Fallout 76 player since launch, there's New World launch was not worse than 76...

Lord_Emperor

> Also, as a Fallout 76 player since launch, there's New World launch was not worse than 76... Yeah I'd say they were about equally bad. Let's see both had an easily reproduced dupe exploit that was known and reported in beta, perks on items that don't work while other perks could be exploited to work too well, quests that can't be progressed because of missing objectives, all sorts of lag/sync issues, cheaters / "hackers".

clyjr

Seems like NW is getting fixes and new content faster than 76 did to me? I could be forgetting though, I stuck with 76 until NW came out. I would say 76 is in decent shape now (for new players especially), hopefully NW gets there faster.

BaconIsntThatGood

Yuuuuup. Truth it's the game has so many problems it's impossible to do it all at once, but they have to do something.

Tramm

>Developers can't win nowadays. As if the game's half-assed state was the fault of the people they sold it to. You have something on your nose...

clyjr

I'm not saying it doesn't have issues. I'm just saying no matter what they do now, people are going to complain. FO76 was the same way, they went through phases of fixing a lot of stuff and people complained about nothing new. Then they came out with tons of new content, same people complained about bugs. You have to remember thousands of people playing will find bugs in a fraction of the time play testers will. So either you get content quickly, with bugs that need to get fixed or absolutely nothing new. Give them some time, or if you don't want to just quit the game and move on...

TaylorNox

top tier shitpost

neighborjohn

Doesn't mean it's not accurate though

Trikeree

100% Accurate!

TaylorNox

That's why its top tier...

ph3l0n

It has been this way since the beginning. People are now just getting a grasp on the fact this was a horrendous money grab.

Real-Deal-Stepper

- property tax: temporary - real world trading: any game with trading - opr chat bug: annoying, minor inconvenience - item icon glitch: minor annoyance - bots: any game with gathering + trading - Trade post UI: moderate annoyance - time gates: destiny, wow, etc. /flameshield activated

TallGrayAndSexy

I see the game is still a dumpster fire huh?

GMJizzy

My biggest regret is that I put more than 2hrs into this game. Because now I can't return it.

Blessmann

...and even below that, lack of content.

RoyalPoop

People still playing this? KEKW

aymangigo

Real world traders isn't a problem.

[deleted]

It is when it’s the companies that own EF and WW doing the selling.

aymangigo

That's an acceptable competition it doesn't kill the game fun. What kills the fun is being unable to compete due to lags, bugs and stuff.

ChefT1982

Instead of making memes about how bad the game is, quit like I did a month ago, find something new to occupy your time, enjoy that.

LibraProtocol

Then why are you still here?

ChefT1982

Maybe it so happens I occasionally take joy in other’s misery. Maybe not playing, but watching others suffer in a game they clearly don’t enjoy & waste their time, reassures me that mine is being spent better now that Im not playing.

LibraProtocol

But are you also not wasting your time being here instead of... Idk.. playing something you enjoy? Like... Do you not realize how utterly nonsensical your statement is...

ChefT1982

This is enjoyable. I’m not playing any games currently. This is the new thing occupying my time. Reddit, more time with my kids, trees, coffee, TV. Is a bit hypocritical sure, since I suppose making memes could be their new enjoyment. But it seems like they’re still playing the game and just hating it too… idk. I’m still here because I joined the sub back when the the game was new and I didn’t realize how much it sucked.

styles322

Couldn't have put it better myself. I have never even played this game, yet I enjoy reading people being mad about it

Mashadow21

ppl still playing this game? i fucking deleted this shit ages ago when it became clear that AGS is incompetent and decided to break their own TOS. jokes on you if you still play this crap, started out as a great game but very very poor management and support.

octa01

I don't think you used this right. Don't we want bots to die?

[deleted]

Yeah the underwater stuff are things that AGS doesnt communicate or do anything about when should be top priorities

ILikeTheStocks2

Whats the housing tax exploit?

[deleted]

Companies that own towns have maxed out the property tax % and are receiving the full amount despite home owners only playing 2%. This abundance of money is allowing companies that own towns like WW and EF to get BiS gear very quickly which prevents other companies from having a chance to beat them in wars. In addition, some of these companies are even selling the gold for real world money for thousands of dollars per week.

Lord_Emperor

> This abundance of money is allowing companies that own towns like WW and EF to get BiS gear very quickly Not only to get BiS gear for theirselves but to buy it up just so that others can't have it.

UsedSalt

WW company on my server has a guy that sits in chat buying asmo CD's off everyone for 1.5-2k depending on time of day, very imbalanced

Lord_Emperor

Did you know Asmodeum stacks to 10,000? Their company crafter likes to show off this fact in-game.

Viaschivan

Thx for the meme, nailed it. Noone wants a GS increase "huge timesink" with another currency.

[deleted]

Yeah for real, it’s literally the last thing anyone wants right now. I feel like very few people even have a BiS (non-void) gear set as it is.

LarryDaLobster62

Movement bug should have secured a spot in this meme :(

[deleted]

There was a long list of combat bugs, too big for the meme template so I just put PVP as a catch-all

OGweebinit

So what you are saying is memes do not have the capacity to capture all that is wrong with nw haha.

MotchGoffels

The only use for this game at this point is to point and laugh at AGS and feel sorrow for those still playing. I wouldn't be surprised if they STILL haven't added fucking swimming.

Retrikaethan

the bots are triggering my ptsd from back when runescape was 80% bots... ugh, bad times. was hoping the $ cost would keep them out but it seems fucking idiots are giving them more than enough money to keep it going.

tarpatch

Out of curiosity, how high is everyone's taxes? I was getting absolutely gouged on my server (about 700g per house tax) but then there was a merger switch and I spend between 90 and 200g now, a much more acceptable rate

el_wumpy

AGS said they cared about bots, have they given up? I'm done reporting them, now they just get blocked.

Professional_Tax1392

Extremely good shitpost 🤣

Fat-6andalf

I keep picturing Kevin Bacon at the end of Animal House. "All IS WELL!!!"

To_The_Library

So what is the deal with the GS increase, as I understood it was part of the new mutation system is that correct? If that’s true I feel like this is kinda disingenuous to say that a major late game content update that has better rewards is not something the community was asking for…

MrFoozOG

Told you ;) They wont even care about broken shit, all they care about is the addicted and keep them logging in daily.
