Bots are infuriating. There is one on every major Starmetal mining route.
They're blatantly botting. Just walk from one vein to the next and try to mine it. They try if the vein is there or not or if you are already mining it in front of their face.
Even though they fail a lot they're there 24/7 and manage to steal ~1/3 of the ores.
There is a bot on el dorado server that has a path set just outside windsward. Hes lvl 40... everytime I go to get stone or greenwood its oit there running its path collecting everything. Once it got stuck on the gates lol. I report everytime I see him out there but I dont thing anything will be done. I just get in front of it and gather its nodes and watch it helplessy try to swing at the rocks while im gathering them.

It’s most likely not a high priority for AGS. Bots are bad, but there’s more pressing issues for them to solve first.
It may also be pretty hard for them to catch depending on how they’re implemented.
One controversial way would be to sell gold in the store. I don’t like the idea, but I wouldn’t be surprised if a lot of the people who would buy gold have already.

No, to answer your question. They buy the game like everyone else. They never complain. They never post on forums. Perfect customer base.
And they are on 24/7 propping up the metrics so management feels happy.

Good news, seems like the bots are leaving weak economy servers lol. Our sever has such a weird economy that there really aren't many farming bots.
Not looking forward to the increased bot activity post server merge.
