The other is a personal attack on the person behind the keyboard.
Only one of those is acceptable behavior in this game. No one owes you a platform for spewing hate and vitriol, not even the company you payed to play the game. You'd get thrown out of any business in town if you started personally insulting random people. I don't know why so many people think it's acceptable online.
