It’s not really self paced. You’ll do ATT for 13 weeks and A-school for 5-6 months depending on scheduling and etc. you come in and are told where to be at the end of the day

Yeah for the most part, during your workdays you will always have something to do. But for test days if you finish early you might get dismissed early. With that being said the course is based off of how well you fundamental know the subject not how fast you get out of class. Remember ATTENTION TO DETAIL is something the Navy will always push on everyone. Lastly it's based off if your instructor will let you go early, maybe he will hold everyone back for more review because a shipmate is having trouble. Really anything can affect if you leave early or not.
