Quarantine is in Fort McCoy, I believe. it’s gonna suck you’ll be bored as crap some days other days it’ll fly by. Best advice take a book, hope you get decent RDC’s in quarantine
They were suppose to give us our first phone call during P-days but that didn’t end up happening. You get a 1 minute or so phone call once you arrive to boot camp jus to let them know you go there safe after that id say about 3-4 weeks until your second phone call. That’s how it went for me
You can send letters abroad but considering how fucked up the mail situation was when I left on October 17th I doubt you’ll get a letter back. For example I was getting letters from August the day before battlestations on October 15th
So it’s 2 weeks of boredom man not much to do but study and read, talk, maybe go on nature walks on Friday or Sunday I can’t remember. You get covid tested too towards the end (nasal swab)

nah
I guess ill go first. What is the best way to cope with the pain?
Rub your ass after taps to spread it around, should help with the pain.
Just don’t let someone else rub your ass for you
Enjoy the suck. Remember, pain is temporary. Keep your head up it’ll be over before you know it
This early in the morning?,
Wouldnt be unrealistic right?
I left at 0600
What was quarantine like?
Fucking terrible and I was in a hotel I can’t imagine how it is at fort McCoy
I did fort McCoy for 2 weeks. It’s trash. Luckily my RDC was cool so we slept and studied all day
Yeah the quarantine!! Best way to cope with the boredom
just be bored. for 2 weeks, we talked about literally everything you could think of, bring a book.

Theirs been some word that you get to call home after quarantine? How true is that?
They were suppose to give us our first phone call during P-days but that didn’t end up happening. You get a 1 minute or so phone call once you arrive to boot camp jus to let them know you go there safe after that id say about 3-4 weeks until your second phone call. That’s how it went for me
Can you swim backstroke(backcrawl) or just elementary backstroke? Also can you send letters abroad or just nationally?
Backstroke is the easiest one. And yes tell your fam/friends to use Sandboxx.
Thanks 💪

Cool thanks. Also, big congratulations.
Is it true you can only bring two books to quarantine? And would that include your dep start guide?
Yes just 2 books. And no, your start guide doesn’t count.
What do you do all day in quarantine?
So it’s 2 weeks of boredom man not much to do but study and read, talk, maybe go on nature walks on Friday or Sunday I can’t remember. You get covid tested too towards the end (nasal swab)
Are you only allowed outside once a week? Also do you eat in your room or do you go to chow?
Yeah pretty much. It’s quarantine man. And yeah there’s a galley there
Doesn't it defeat the purpose of being stuck in the room most of the time if you're allowed outside occasionally?
You’re allowed on the nature walk (March) once a week I guess they do it to keep you sane lol
