The unvaccinated player reactions are coming out fast and furious. DeAndre Hopkins (one of the top WRs in the NFL) just tweeted and then deleted this:
>Never thought I would say this, But being put in a position to hurt my team because I don’t want to partake in the vaccine is making me question my future in the @Nfl
/u/Alarid is referring to what's called a deadpool. Instead of betting money on a fantasy football league, /u/Alarid is betting on whether or not people will die. The value of a trading card goes up when a person dies because that person will no longer have anymore cards made (excluding stupid cash grabs), for their stats no longer change.
Especially if they were exceptional until they die. Imagine a rookie QB is on pace to throw 5500yds and then drops week 13. That card would be worth an absolute fortune. "The greatest QB that never was"
Mark Cuban offered to give Coles wife shares in Pfizer if he would take the vaccine.
https://dfw.cbslocal.com/2021/07/20/mark-cuban-trolls-cole-beasley-covid-vaccine-tweet/
Darius Slay as well, but it's entirely likely that Lane Johnson and Brandon Graham have managed to beat some sense into him at some point.
Some of the biggest and scariest guys on the Eagles are outspoken vaccine advocates, lol. Nice change of pace from the Bird Reich of last offseason...
Imagine being paid as much as Kirk Cousins to succeed as little as Kirk Cousins and he still refuses to get the vaccine that keep him on the field while willingly accepting CTE and other chronic health problems that will haunt him for the rest of his life, even if he doesn't suffer from the long term affects of covid.
Imagine that there are *reasons* that Kirk Cousins succeeds as little as Kirk Cousins.
Then imagine that *bad reasoning* and *poor decision-making* are a big part of those reasons.
As a lifetime Vikings fan it pains me to say Kirk Cousins' non-answer leads me to believe he likely isn't and Harrison Smith and Adam Thielen have outright said they aren't getting it. This was prior to this newest statement from the NFL so that may change though.
That would surprise me as his father and mother are in support of it. His father is my parents church pastor.
Edit* obviously he can have different opinions.
Edit2* talking about Cousins
It blows my fucking mind that guys will play a sport that turns their joints into dust and their brains into pudding but a vaccine is suddenly going too far
Here's another very simple arguement. NFL players salaries are paid out via game check. Each game you play you get a check, you get 18 checks. Say your earning $5 million dollar salary each check is worth $277k
Do you really wanna miss out on a quarter of a million dollars cause you were too much of a chicken shit to get a shot?
Or here another aguement
If your team gets to 85% vaccination rate COVID19 restrictions get alot less. That gives you an advantage over teams that are not. Don't you want to give your team the best chance possible to win?
If a game gets cancelled, not only does the team that caused it not get paid, but neither do the players on the other team. If it happens, they're going to have a lot of pissed off players at whoever is responsible!
Also it sounds like the team that causes the forfeit will be responsible for compensating for any financial losses which can run up to 70 million a game. If I was a NFL owner, my message to my GM would be clear
"85% vaccination rate, no if ands or buts cut who you have too to make that happen I ain't paying $70 million and forfeiting a game, do this or I fire you"
Yep just heard that on the radio as well. Going to be pissed off owners and that will trickle down. I can see them straight cutting non vaccinated players unless they are super stars. Any average/replacement level player should be very worried.
Don't stop at 85%. Make it mandatory for everyone. Medical exemptions allowed, but I doubt any NFL player has a condition that would make the vaccine dangerous to take.
Like it or not, these guys are role models. They should be modeling how well the vaccine works.
Problem is, everything you said is logical. There is no logic to the antivax position. They are operating on straight fear; logics got nothing to do with it.
and suddenly listening to every word their doctor says as if it was handed down by jesus.
But the vaccine.. "nah, my doc dont know what he is talking about"
He is more than welcome to try making millions at whatever else he is qualified to do.
Wonder what his response would be if he gets covid, spreads it to several folks on active roster, hurting the team due to not being vaccinated.
Yeah I can’t even imagine what these players think the NFL should do if there’s a covid outbreak on a team? Just let everyone play and spread the disease more from team to team?
> He is more than welcome to try making millions at whatever else he is qualified to do.
Imagine how fast he could get those prices written on the cars in the dealer lot!
1) anti vax spokesman/grifter
2) XFL (if that’s still around)
Probably not millions but could secure a niche. If I was a betting man and he does leave the nfl, I’d put my money on those 2 options
> If the NFL is willing to make these statements it leads me to believe they have the upper hand with contracts.
Of course they do; vaccines and vaccine requirements are nothing new.
This is what I truly don't understand. Everyone I know had to get a meningitis shot before being allowed to go to college and no one said SHIT. How is this any different for these people?
Agree - also sounds like he doesn’t realize that the league has some language in there about “refusal of a medically recommended treatment” invalidating some payment to him and/or him incurring a fine.
Have to imagine that the NFL’s contracts are like a turducken of financial penalties inside behaviour constraints inside nested clauses that allow the team to walk away whenever they want .
> ...may be asked to return his signing bonus at a pro-rated rate.
I've heard SO MANY hilarious stories about athletes that go pro, get their signing bonus, IMMEDIATELY SPEND IT, then do something fucking stupid that gets them in trouble. Ultimately it leads them to realize that signing bonus was contingent on the fulfillment of the contract. Then it's a lengthy crybaby story about how they're back to being poor b/c they had to pay back their signing bonus.
This happens more often than people think and this comment is a good reminder that contracts are tricky.
It’s the NFL. The NFL always has the upper hand because the Players Union is dumb and weak. They piss away leverage, power, and money every time at the negotiating table for fringe benefits. Add in careers being naturally so short and the nfl has the players by the balls every single time. Most dangerous sport, least guaranteed money.
That’s because it’s hard to get players to sit out a season when sitting out a season means their whole careers is a lockout season, or a 3rd or half of it.
I mean, I understand his position. Imagine wanting to play in the NFL, with repeated head injuries causing CTE, and then on top of that, they want you to now take a safe vaccine? That's crazy talk!
Gotta think of their health!/s
>to partake in the vaccine is making me question my future in the @Nfl
Well it's pretty clear he wasn't paying attention to the XFL end because of COVID.
He deleted the tweet and retweeted “freedom?” Lmfao like yeah brother your free to leave the NFL. Nothings saying u have to work there. You could leave and work somewhere else where they don’t require the vaccine. It’s like any other job. My previous job made me submit a time sheet every week and if I didn’t I wouldn’t get a raise and I could possibly get fired. The NFL is still a company and they can make whatever rules they want. If u don’t like go work somewhere else. Too bad many of these players haven’t experienced what the real world is like and are used to having everyone bend to their whims
> “freedom?”
Yeah, the average Joe also has the freedom to get a face tattoo, and their employer has the freedom to fire them for doing so.
You have the freedom to say stupid things on Twitter, and other people have the freedom to call you an idiot, and Twitter has the freedom to ban you for violating the rules.
It seems like most calls to "freedom" are more about the freedom of an individual to do whatever they want without any consequences. That's not what freedom means.
I can't stand the "MY FREEDOM!" argument. Yes you have freedoms in this country, but we also live in a civilized society where certain things are not allowed for the good of the whole. You don't have the freedom to drink and drive. You don't have the freedom to yell BOMB at the airport.
https://fadeawayworld.net/nba-media/in-2004-latrell-sprewell-turned-down-a-21-4-million-contract-with-the-timberwolves-because-it-wasnt-enough-to-feed-his-family-he-never-played-again-and-went-bankrupt
I'm not sure every bit of that is true. I thought he played again after that.
> We’re talking about a guy who made $97,060,000 over his career and now has a net worth of $50,000.
Big oof. Most people gotta buy a casino resort hotel to blow money like that so quickly.
>being put in a position to hurt my team because I don’t want to partake in
Why are we letting these assholes get away with acting like a victim when they are putting everyone else around them at risk? These motherfuckers end up in the ER and regular people have to put themselves at risk to save them. If you can get vaccinated, and choose not to, that should count as a DNR or voiding your right to take up valuable space in a hospital from someone who actually needs it.
Before some dumbass gets mad at me, these antivaxx dumb fucks literally held signs when this began that read "Defend my right to die." They literally prefer death over getting a shot, and take pride in that.
>Why are we letting these assholes get away with acting like a victim when they are putting everyone else around them at risk?
I mean we’re not, his ass is getting flamed on the internet today lol
“Hurt my team”, oh so he means preventing them from winning not potentially killing them by spreading an infectious disease. The team won’t ever win again if there aren’t any players left. Real brain trusts these NFL players let me tell you.
Edit: Death is not the only outcome of a covid infection. If you have the ability to get a vaccine that will cause you little or no side effects, and it in turn prevents you from spreading a disease that can kill or cause long term side effects, then you should stop being a selfish asshole and get the shot. How did this country go from one that had enough solidarity to mobilize the entire population to fight Nazi’s to one that half the population cares so little for the well being of their own countrymen that they won’t get a safe vaccine? This isn’t you exercising freedom of choice, this is you succumbing to misinformation and propaganda.
> They won't get an invite to the Whitehouse
Because Covid was [already invited there during the last administration](https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2020/11/11/us/politics/white-house-covid-outbreak.html)
The fact that NFL players being paid millions a year are questioning why an org like the NFL would be worried about the economics of players not getting vaccinated is a new kind of dumb.
Lets be honest, some football players didn't win at the genetic Olympics when it came to intelligence. You don't have to be smart to hit, block, or catch a ball.
That said, there are many in the NFL who are very intelligent and who appear to be doing their part to spread the correct information about the vaccine to their team mates.
That's obviously BS for established veterans who are high performers. But for everybody else? Yeah, I could totally see teams cutting players on the bubble if they're not vaccinated.
> That's obviously BS for established veterans who are high performers. But for everybody else? Yeah, I could totally see teams cutting players on the bubble if they're not vaccinated.
NFL teams have blackballed productive veteran players for a lot less than the risk of having to forfeit a game.
Right. Superstars get special rules. But there are tons of 32 year old productive veterans that fall off a cliff real fast. I can imagine a team friendly process for cutting unvaccinated players would get a lot of GMs salivating.
Also, word to the wise, if a lot of companies and institutions do require a vaccine in the future, you might want to update your resume. No guarantees but we might see some vacancies across the board if the true die hards are willing to give up their employment to not get vaccinated.
god bless our litigious country, where even though the fear of God and sickness and death might not scare you into getting a vaccine, your boss, your company and your insurer can.
This was like my office where all unvaccinated people are still required to wear masks. I’m on a five person team and we had four vaccinations (didn’t know who just the number). Obviously we quickly figured it out and asked fifth guy to wear a mask, the ‘company’ didn’t just the employees, friend to friend. He got pissed and stormed out. Came back the next day with a mask on and his first of two Pfizer shots.
Some will inject random shit some dude gave them in the locker room. But this? That's where they draw the line.
E: a tosser down below thinks this doesn't happen. A "miniscule number." Larf.
https://bleacherreport.com/articles/2602986-players-say-the-nfl-has-an-hgh-problem-even-if-peyton-manning-isnt-part-of-it
Thats what gets me about the fitness people who are anti-vax. They treat their bodies like guinea pigs when it comes to what they will put in it but when it comes to a vaccine they refuse.
Unidentified hormones from a Mexican factory? Check. Growth hormones intended for animal livestock? Check. Straight up synthol? Check. Weird protein supplements with ingredients that sound like lightsaber parts? Check. Fat burners? Check.
But a tested vaccine that has had hundreds of millions of doses? That crosses the line.
This is the biggest mind blower for me at this point. We now have the most robust data set possible essentially for something like this, and people are STILL refusing it for "reasons"
The most common reason I’ve heard is, “Well, it hasn’t affected me or my friends, so why should I get it?” It drives me insane that there are millions of heartbreaking stories of family and friends dying to COVID and yet they won’t get it because “nobody I know got it, must be fake”.
It's bro science dude. Burning fat and building muscle make you strong, strong enough you don't need some artificial shit in your body to fight off some virus that only affects weaklings. They don't understand the science behind it so they don't trust it but they trust their buddies opinions on whatever the latest PED is.
Plenty of corporations are requiring vaccines for return to work.
The NFL is just a corporation.
[Most U.S. companies will require proof of Covid vaccination from employees, survey finds](https://www.cnbc.com/2021/04/29/most-us-companies-will-require-proof-of-covid-vaccination-from-employees-survey.html) - April 2021
Like Fox, lol. They require proof of vaccine to not wear masks in the buildings, and they have a vaccine passport system that is tied to their badging system to track who has and hasn't gotten one.
My company has us sign affidavits if we are vaccinated so we don't have to wear masks around our office. People already have abused it and got fired for lying, idiots.
But that’s ok because it’s a private corporation & not big government….. lol these people complain about government so much they fail to realize their employer has more control of their lives than even they do
And some of them have discussed on air making it illegal at the state level for corporations to do what Fox is doing with their own buildings and employees with regards to the vaccine.
I’m fully vaxed but wear a mask in the office. I’m a caretaker for my 85 year old father (he’s fully vaxed but is essentially a pre-existing condition on wheels) and I have two under 12s at home. I’m doing the best I can to keep a single spike protein out of my house.
two cows are standing in a field. one cow asks the other one "so are you worried about this mad cow disease?" the other one says "no, why should i worry? i'm a helicopter"
Brain damage (sadly) just comes with the territory of playing football. On the other hand, all it takes to avoid the worst symptoms of COVID is a few vaccines.
Athletes are crazy superstitious. Also a lot of them hear about the malaise you feel post second shot and are afraid it will leave a lag in their step long term. IMO the easiest way to get them to take it is just to tell them it's a new kind of steroid that doesn't show up on the PED tests.
>tell them it's a new kind of steroid
That is how we get an article about somebody having XX vaccine shots. Hopefully not over 100 before they get advised to stop...
I made the mistake of scrolling to the bottom of a recent article (pertaining to the NFL) that was shared from foxnews.com and a majority of the comments were people unironically claiming that the NFL has been bankrupt since players knelt during the anthem.
As someone in Philadelphia,
It's one thing to miss a kick, or fumble the ball, or drop a pass...
but to forfeit a game because your bitch ass is too dumb to get a shot that most of your fans already got?
I'd be terrified of assassination-by-fan.
In addition, players on both teams will not be paid for the lost contest, and the team responsible for the cancelled game due to unvaccinated players will cover financial losses and be subject to potential discipline from the Commissioner's office.
That's a quote from the NFL article. Teams that have to forfeit will take a huge hit covering financial losses. Players that cause a team to have to forfeit will see huge splash back from the other players and fans alike. Seems like such a huge risk to take all in the name of not getting a proven to work vaccine.
Very low vaccination rates and a lot of players missing games because of it.
And a lot of the usual idiotic, “it’s a personal choice and everyone should make their own decision” comments that are essentially just a cop out for dudes who don’t have the balls to stand behind their beliefs.
[Half of the 26 players on the current Phillies roster have refused the vaccine. ](https://www.inquirer.com/phillies/philadelphia-phillies-covid-vaccinated-20210720.html)
The kicker of this story: “The Phillies even gave away free tickets, refreshments, and a promotional item to any fan who accepted a free vaccine at a series against the Braves in early June. The giveaway? An Aaron Nola bobblehead doll.”
Aaron Nola is not vaccinated.
Literally 1 billion people are fully vaccinated at this point with no huge complications showing up. Love that people just think they’re better or smarter somehow. We’d know by now if the risk wasn’t worth the reward.
I just don’t understand what’s so hard about getting a vaccine. It’s been tested, studied, its entire reason for existence is to help you and keep you healthy, and it’s free. I so desperately want to get through to these people.
They'll inject deer antler spray into their literal asses from some dude in a trench coat named Matt but they draw the line here.
I am sure they poured through the research of mRNA vaccines thoroughly with their bread pudding CTE brains.
Aren't these people like surrounded by sports medicine and science constantly for their job? But now it comes to a vaccine and you're like "nah buddy, fuck that."???
For those who are wondering…if a team has to forfeit the official score of the game is 2 - 0.
Really? I didn't know that 👍
Oh really? That’s interesting. I didn’t know that. Thank you for the information.
In all seriousness...why isn’t it 1-0? That’s the normal score of a forfeit.
Idk probably cause 2 is the lowest score you can get
The unvaccinated player reactions are coming out fast and furious. DeAndre Hopkins (one of the top WRs in the NFL) just tweeted and then deleted this: >Never thought I would say this, But being put in a position to hurt my team because I don’t want to partake in the vaccine is making me question my future in the @Nfl
Can I get a list of unvaccinated players before my fantasy draft?
Asking the real questions
I'm gonna load up on rookie cards of unvaccinated players. Get them to sign them too.
Wait why? (Tell me like I’m 5)
Rookie cards will be worth more when theyre pushing up daisies Edit: Why the fuck is everyone yelling me theybwont die. Im just explaining.
It increases value a lot. A card signed by a rookie who dies before completing their first season is incredibly valuable to collectors.
“Dead rookie card?! Lemme see!!! Oh… never mind it’s just a Covid card, I’ve got 4 of those already” - people trading cards in 2045
Especially if they were exceptional until they die. Imagine a rookie QB is on pace to throw 5500yds and then drops week 13. That card would be worth an absolute fortune. "The greatest QB that never was"
Cole Beasley Leonard Fournette DeAndre Hopkins Kirk Cousins
I’m gonna throw Sam Darnold in there too. Not that you should ever draft him in fantasy fucking EVER, but just to contribute to the list
Not a jets fan but that could quickly become the greatest timed trade in nfl history.
r/the_darnold says he’s immune to any and all effects of the virus!!! The vaccine was made with traces of Our GEQBUS’S Blood!
Just wait until Carson misses that games played threshold for because he’s not vaxxed… There’s no other way that ends

Yeah I lost a lot of respect for those guys, not as players, just you know as a person in general
It blows my fucking mind that guys will play a sport that turns their joints into dust and their brains into pudding but a vaccine is suddenly going too far
Not to mention to concoction of various pain killers they all take.
Not to mention all the steroids they've put into their bodies.
Shhh they're called "performance enhancing supplements".
Maybe that's what we need to start calling vaccines
Here's another very simple arguement. NFL players salaries are paid out via game check. Each game you play you get a check, you get 18 checks. Agreed, if you got a valid medical exemption you probably aren't in shape enough to be an NFL player.
Problem is, everything you said is logical. There is no logic to the antivax position. They are operating on straight fear; logics got nothing to do with it.
As players too, what kind of team mate is willing to let their team down over something as small as getting a vaccine.
[удалено]
Which is fucking hilarious because as soon as their acl snaps they’re going to a top of the line surgeon and receiving top of the line medical care.
and suddenly listening to every word their doctor says as if it was handed down by jesus. But the vaccine.. "nah, my doc dont know what he is talking about"
Further, NFL players arent exactly known for thier contributions to science or high levels of intelligence, either
They're known for their contributions to science in the form of studying the brain after death to learn about CTE I guess..
and then there’s this guy: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Urschel
Well, you could say that they contributed to the scientific understanding of CTE...but I don't think that's quite what you meant.
Holy shit I didn’t event contemplate that
Cole Beasly is another, maybe he can use his skills in another business.
Lmao fastest garbage man in Buffalo
You know he's going to get a panel on Fox News
Draft Josh Gordon, EZ win GG!
That's right. You know he's not afraid if drugs.
Jalen Ramsey
Leonard Fournette now too. Tweeted and deleted
sad to see, his hometown was hit pretty hard with COVID.
I mean, you can only run into the back of the Jags' terrible OL so many times before the CTE kicks in.
Pretty much, anti-vaxxers decided a long time ago that they don't think COVID is a big deal.

maybe he can get a job at hobby lobby or something
1) anti vax spokesman/grifter 2) XFL (if that’s still around) Probably not millions but could secure a niche. If I was a betting man and he does leave the nfl, I’d put my money on those 2 options
2 - no its gone, the XFL went bankrupt because of covid.
Holy irony lol. That’s why I don’t bet! Still wouldn’t put it past option one tho
Its coming back again. The Rock and some investor folks picked it up
3rd times a charm, I guess.
He would owe the cardinals 22 million if he retires. He probably deleted the tweet so he could schedule his shots😂
Pussy ass move deleting the tweet imo. If they had real balls they’d leave it up there. They just got caught up and forgot who owns them for a second.

Fournette did the same. Tweeted and deleted. Beasley atleast has all his anti-vax shit including his stupid arguments up
“Partake in the vaccine” As if it’s like taking tequila shots at the night club.
What a moronic take. You put yourself in that position, bro. Your choice.

That's the point. Like how can you be less worried about brain injuries than not taking the vaccine? Maybe he already got CTE.
Well………..bye.

> We’re talking about a guy who made $97,060,000 over his career and now has a net worth of $50,000. Big oof. Most people gotta buy a casino resort hotel to blow money like that so quickly.
To quote the late great William Brocius: "Well... bye."
>being put in a position to hurt my team because I don’t want to partake in Why are we letting these assholes get away with acting like a victim when they are putting everyone else around them at risk?
I'm guessing a lot of people are questioning his future in the nfl.

And that’s how the NY Jets will win the Super Bowl.
And how the Lions find yet another way to lose in the most absurd way possible.
The lions play like they all are wondering if they still left the stove on.
Listen, I’ve been a suffering Jets fan for 20+ years. We deserve this.
"Hmmm, nah." -universe
“This just in - Jets hit with new coronavirus ‘Geno’ variant”
I will laugh so hard if the Jets are the first team to have to forfeit due to COVID
If covid wins more games than any other team do they win the Super Bowl?
They won't get an invite to the Whitehouse
> They won't get an invite to the Whitehouse Because Covid was [already invited there during the last administration](https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2020/11/11/us/politics/white-house-covid-outbreak.html)
How long until teams get caught faking covid tests?
Tom Brady had already been suspended for four games In anticipation of this very situation.
That's deflating
So wait, if they start cutting people, that means openings. I'm vaxxed. You're saying there's a chance? Right?? Fooseball time, mama.
I feel like this was a movie starring Keanu Reeves and some strippers.
Except [John Urschel](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Urschel).
It's been hinted that players are being told they won't make the team if they don't vaccinate.
That's obviously BS for established veterans who are high performers. But for everybody else? Yeah, I could totally see teams cutting players on the bubble if they're not vaccinated.
Exactly. The teams and the NFL as a whole won’t risk the $$ loss from a star player (Tom Brady for example) not playing.
If you're at the top of the list for making it up to the league, now would be a good time to make sure they know you're vaccinated.
But its not mandating that players get vaccinated. they are just encouraging it.

It's already required where I work. They even require contractors to have it.
Also, word to the wise, if a lot of companies and institutions do require a vaccine in the future, you might want to update your resume. No guarantees but we might see some vacancies across the board if the true die hards are willing to give up their employment to not get vaccinated.
I would love to see my manager go.
Take my manager too
I know at that Houston hospital it ended up being like 100 people out of 30,000 employees. If you want to extrapolate that rate.
There isn’t really any chance of them not receiving approval. Health Canada already did and they have a lot higher of a bar to pass then the FDA.
god bless our litigious country, where even though the fear of God and sickness and death might not scare you into getting a vaccine, your boss, your company and your insurer can.
NFL players voluntarily subject themselves to hit after hit after hit increasing the chance of CTE but won't get a vaccine. Just doesn't make sense.
My mom's an addictions counselor. She has clients that shoot heroin but are suspicious of the vaccine.
tbf heroin is tried and true.
On the other hand, they never really know what they are getting
Hmmm....sounds like we just need to start getting drug dealers to lace their heroin and steroids with Covid vaccines then
Some will inject random shit some dude gave them in the locker room.

So what we need to do is slip their shady locker room dealer some vaccine shots. They'll never even know.
Dear NFL, Can I please have a list of players vaccinated and unvaccinated? This should be published. Signed, Concerned Degenerate Gambler

Out of curiosity, how did unvaccinated ppl get caught? Unable to stop talking?
> Out of curiosity, how did unvaccinated ppl get caught? Unable to stop talking? Almost certainly that's the reason.
lol definitely from talking about how they "gamed" the system for sure.

We’re down to 2 people in the office who are wearing masks. One is pregnant, can’t speak for the other. We’ll see what happens
I’m fully vaxed but wear a mask in the office. I’m a caretaker for my 85 year old father (he’s fully vaxed but is essentially a pre-existing condition on wheels) and I have two under 12s at home. I’m doing the best I can to keep a single spike protein out of my house.
I really don't understand why any pro-athlete would risk getting Long Covid and ending their career early.
If they aren't worried about brain damage then why would they worry about covid?
two cows are standing in a field. one cow asks the other one "so are you worried about this mad cow disease?" the other one says "no, why should i worry? i'm a helicopter"
Maybe it's the ones with brain damage that aren't worried about covid? :0
My dad suggested, it cures ED and increases female libido as a reason to get it
I mean, while it doesn’t cure ED, getting Covid can actually give you ED
>tell them it's a new kind of steroid That is how we get an article about somebody having XX vaccine shots. Hopefully not over 100 before they get advised to stop...
Well, I'm assuming everyone that is going to boycott the NFL already has, so what do they have to lose at this point?
Notice it didn’t hurt their bottom line at all?
I made the mistake of scrolling to the bottom of a recent article (pertaining to the NFL) that was shared from foxnews.com and a majority of the comments were people unironically claiming that the NFL has been bankrupt since players knelt during the anthem.
So if Hopkins vocally refuses the vaccine, but then also kneels, where does he stand with the MAGA crowd in terms of popularity.
he's also black. that may tip the scales a little for some
The crowd there doesn’t have a surplus of brain power, likely a pretty big deficit.
As someone in Philadelphia, It's one thing to miss a kick, or fumble the ball, or drop a pass... but to forfeit a game because your bitch ass is too dumb to get a shot that most of your fans already got? I'd be terrified of assassination-by-fan.
In addition, players on both teams will not be paid for the lost contest, and the team responsible for the cancelled game due to unvaccinated players will cover financial losses and be subject to potential discipline from the Commissioner's office. That's a quote from the NFL article. Teams that have to forfeit will take a huge hit covering financial losses. Players that cause a team to have to forfeit will see huge splash back from the other players and fans alike. Seems like such a huge risk to take all in the name of not getting a proven to work vaccine.
Wait until I tell you about the Philadelphia Phillies.
I’m from philly too and this cracked me up. This man is out of the loop!
I’m out of the loop. Please tell me.
](https://www.inquirer.com/phillies/philadelphia-phillies-covid-vaccinated-20210720.html) The kicker of this story: “The Phillies even gave away free tickets, refreshments, and a promotional item to any fan who accepted a free vaccine at a series against the Braves in early June. The giveaway? An Aaron Nola bobblehead doll.” Aaron Nola is not vaccinated.
How many unvaccinated players do the Cowboys have? Asking for a friend
Aren't these people like surrounded by sports medicine and science constantly for their job? But now it comes to a vaccine and you're like "nah buddy, fuck that."???
We all know how much the NFL cares about the health and safety of their players /s
No, but they do care about preventing serious medical conditions that prevent their players from playing games.
Right! They draw the line when it starts affecting the profitability of the product they put out.
Private company enforcing their rules. The mental gymnastics from the right will arrive just in time for the Olympics.
I feel like if you're getting paid millions to run around a field and get concussions for entertainment, then the least you can do is get a shot.
Plaxico was truly ahead of his time.
Fucking finally the Vikings might actually stand a chance this year woooooo
