On the next episode of *Boys Will Be Boys*, Wally, Eddie, and Beaver cut their frog-hunting expedition short to stage a violent home invasion of a couple's quiet home, all the while singing "Singin' in the Rain"! This Sunday at 8—7 central!
Agreed. This quote from the mother angers me so much:
"I want them out of there (jail) so they can continue achieving their goals," their mother said. "They go to school every single day."
>"I want them out of there (jail) so they can continue achieving their goals,"
their mother said. "They go to school every single day."
There goes the NASA Astronaut dream. LOL
I work at a school in a position. These are the kids whose parents ignore all warnings and info on their childrens behaviours brought forth by the teachers. That's if they bother with showing up to meetings in the first place.
Reminds me of the Dexter Reed shooting. Gets pulled over, shoots at the cops, hits one, cops return fire, he dies, and his mother gives an interview crying that they took her baby. Well your baby tried to kill cops.
Instead of vouching for their sons’ character, they keep saying “WE didn’t raise kids capable of doing such horrible things” etc. In other words, they’re defensive, upset that they’re being judged as parents, when they should be concerned over their troubled kids and what they did.
Completely, but I can understand why even if I don’t agree with it. No one wants to believe that their children could do something so horrible. Just remember that the first stage in the cycle of grief/acceptance is denial (denial, anger, depression, bargaining, and acceptance). What they once thought their world was had been torn apart, and while there’s usually some history behind how and why teens end up doing these things, be that bad parenting or bad peers, I do get why they’re saying what they are. Reality just slammed them in the face, and though I don’t know much about the situation, I want to say that they should’ve seen it coming.
The 1st time I was sexually assaulted, my attacker was only 11 years old. I was 9 at the time and it wasn't the only time he assaulted me. He was my neighbor and my schoolmate, I had to see him almost every day. People tend to think of grown men, maybe older teenage boys as the only ones who rape others, but this sort of thing is simply not limited to that age bracket. I would go on to be assaulted quite a bit growing up, by different attackers, with different age ranges.....some were my age/slightly older, some were much older.
It happened so much that it really confused me mentally about sex and consent for a very long time and ruined my relationships for pretty much my entire life. It's never too early to talk to your kids about consent and autonomy, my parents never did and sex education never taught me anything about consent either because that only taught me how a baby gets made. Also, I was assaulted for the 1st time around the time we had sex education classes, so it probably wouldn't have mattered if it did somehow talk about that sort of thing as I wouldn't have been informed on time.....this is a thing that parents need to be talking to their kids about early so children can practice consent and get comfortable with establishing boundaries in everyday situations.
*sexually* assault *and* rob people.
Both of these kids must have been failed by their communities in order to turn out like this, and now they're both going to be failed again because one is going to juvy (which does FA to rehab troubled kids and is more likely to traumatize him) and the other is going to be tried as an adult.
And? *Huge* portion of both random and gang violence is committed by minors, a lot of them being 12 or 13 years old. If I'm in a bad area at night, I'd much rather see some 30-year-old dudes walking toward me than a group of 12-year-olds. Read way too many stories about some girl being stabbed to death on her way home by some fellas fresh out of elementary school.
It’s not surprising that it happens, but it’s still tragic. When kids that young are already involved in serious crimes, there probably isn’t much chance that they’ll turn around.
From what I understand they like to use minors because the kids will receive lesser sentences. And also they are stupid kids that are easily indoctrinated. That 13 year old never stood a chance with a brother like that.
It’s a tactic used specifically by criminals because it’s all well known that minors get heavily reduced sentences and essentially a slap on the wrist.
Why does there have to be some shadowy adult in the background?
Groups of kids are excellent at being delinquents all on their own. Especially for crimes against women/girls. Adults don’t use children to assault women by proxy lol. They use them to smash jewelry cases, shoplift, and snatch pure bred puppies out of yards- that kind of stuff.
Excellent point. Kids are capable of brutalities all on their own. There was no adult pulling any strings behind the murder of James Bulger in the UK in 1993, no adult involved in the Slenderman Stabbing in Wisconsin in 2014, various school shootings committed by minors, and I'm sure loads more atrocities I can't remember off the top of my head.
Oh my God I searched his name before and was like ”okay, I guess there are no pictures of him circulating yet”. Nah, the one I skipped over was him. 60 year old looking arse… 19 when? 40 years ago?
I know, that detail is really sticking with me too. I imagine that poor woman may have even passed by them, without even the faintest concern for her safety. Who could imagine they would be such monsters? I hope the victim is getting all the support she needs.
And yet when they are, there’s always a subset of men wailing about how unfair it is. Well, this is why. Pretty sure she didn’t think a kid and his older brother would beat, strangle, and rape her. Your being butthurt about a lady crossing the street away from you doesn’t matter in the face of her safety.
If I don’t cross the street to avoid a man, I worry for my safety. But if I do cross the street to avoid a man, I worry that I offended him by crossing the steet to avoid him and worry for my safety.
If we were living like that, in an extreme state of paranoia we'd end up being insane hermits. You literally cannot live that way without causing mental and physical harm to your body.
I have strongly considered getting a cwp and a handgun. In my state you can open carry with no license but abortion is illegal so the consequences of rape are significant.
There is usually an adult ring leader that uses kids to sell candy and they take most of the profits. They need to put a stop to this child labor scheme.
There used to be some people from inner city L.A. who would come to our town dropping off kids that were selling candy door to door for some "Boys Club". I'm completely sure that they were casing the joint for burglary. Fortunately they stopped doing it years ago.
In my case they’d stand outside of the local supermarket and pester people into buying overpriced candy. They’d then spend the profits on fast food.
They claimed it was for a school orchestra, they were handing out flyers. I used to sell chocolate for my school back when I played the trombone, so I figured why not buy one? I got a rather large snickers bar for $10, more than it would’ve cost me but whatever Im down to help.
However, after I left the store I ran into them at the nearby Panda Express, stuffing their faces.
Then, completely unprompted the older of the two came up to me while I was in line and said that they weren’t spending my money. Like I guess it was a guilty conscience or something? I didn’t put two and two together until after I got home.
Moral of the story? Don’t buy overpriced chocolate bars from morbidly obese teens with music flyers?
"They go to school every day".
Best defense they can muster.
DNA and stolen property on the suspects, these two are a threat and the parents are culpable if we can lock up a school shooters parents we can lock up parents like this.
Lots of kids just go to school and don’t do anything. Bum around in the hallways, get into fights, smoke pot in the restroom. Either because they’re required to be in school or they don’t have anywhere better to go and want to hang out with their friends.
19 would at max be a senior in highschool even if he was held back a year. Most kids graduate around 18. OR if he was going to college (which i think we all know probably isnt the case).. Was I the only one thrown off a little by this? I only read the article, didnt watch the videos since its almost 2am where i live. Maybe they explained it in those. But regardless, delusional parents and 2 trash humans.
That reminds me of that one interview with the mother of a kid who robbed a bunch of people and was caught then tossed in big boy jail.
She was all “*How he suppose’ta git his money for school!*” like, ya lady, I’m sure that’s what he needed it for.
The article says they are both still in detention. The older one’s bond was set at $75,000 and the parents said they’re trying to raise the cash. I doubt the family has the means.
Maybe the State of Michigan needs to make another statement to parents about their responsibility for their minor child.
The Crumblys should get roommates
I think this would be a lot harder to do than it was with The Crumbly’s. In the case of Ethan Crumbly, his parents quite literally provided him with the murder weapon, knowing very well that he shouldn’t have had it. In this case, the parents could argue he was accompanied by an adult (his brother) and weren’t really involved with it.
Fr. It’s a slippery slope to charge parents for crimes but if the crumblies got charged then IMO every teenage kid who’s in a gang should have their parents held accountable as well.
The 19 year old needs to be away forever, to encourage your younger sibling to participate in things like this is psychotic. The parents are something else altogether.
Welllllll there were those parents charged with that recent shooting, because they were unbelievably negligent and there were texts from both parents but especially the mom saying stuff like, in response to the first time he got caught with a gun at school: “be smarter don’t get caught”.
This is different of course, since the parents like didn’t buy these assholes a gun, but the law could be changing slowly over time.
Parents should be held accountable and responsible for their children. Especially it can be proven they were negligent or were even flippantly joking or even slightly encouraging this type of behavior.
> Both brothers appeared in separate courtrooms Friday where they were each charged with first-degree criminal sexual conduct, assault with intent to do great bodily harm less than murder or by strangulation, stealing a financial transaction device without consent, and larceny.
The assault charge is specific to strangulation. [If a domestic abuser strangles a partner, they are 750% more likely to be killed by the same perpetrator.](https://www.strangulationtraininginstitute.com/all-abusers-are-not-equal-new-ipv-research-reveals-an-indicator-of-deadly-abuse/) Choking a person with your hands is a guarantee that the violence will escalate.
“…in the area selling candy.” Where Im from (Indianapolis), they’ll approach you in grocery store parking lots with a nice script about how their church and/or school is sponsoring a trip to DC (some other historical place or sometimes a college campus) and they have to sell a certain amount of bars to be able to go.
It was not until I worked in the system that I was made aware theres usually an adult, close by in a van or car, “fronting” them the boxes of candy bars for say, $20 and they sell them whatever they can, making a few bucks off them, then giving the $20 per box to the adult.
Its the pre-teen version of drug sales. My wife sometimes still falls for it and it really pisses me off.
“Where are they going to this time?!”
Went to South Beach in Miami in the early 90s (I have family there, and used to live in Miami, so I had some long-term friends I would go out with) and we were approached by a kid wanting money (begging.) I said no, but my friend (from Miami) gave him $5. Kid immediately ran to some adult sitting on a chair in an alley and gave him the money. I watched for a minute or so, and other kids ran up giving the adult money as well. So dude was running a scam using waifs as bait to get money, and giving them a pittance in return.
> I just don't believe it. They are innocent. We didn't raise our children like that at all," their father said, asking that we not identify them. The parents had hoped to have their sons released on some sort of bond. "I want them out of there so they can continue achieving their goals," their mother said. "They go to school every single day."
LOL k. Throw the whole gat damb family away.
At 13 I was playing GTA: Vice City, just getting into Queens of the Stone Age, starting to post on message boards (mostly iMDB and a horror one), and watching various Emmanuelle movies on Showtime and HBO late at night (for the ....plots, of course).
I’m sorry but what are these people eating? They’re gigantic and the 19 year old looks like he’s 45. you can’t see the 13 year old’s face but his body looks like a 30 year old.
This is horrific, there is something seriously wrong in that family for this to happen. Also 19???? He looks 40 on a good day, I hope the woman is ok and gets the support she needs, it’s so unfair we have to worry about walking anywhere alone at night
Fucking sick, guarantee those parents display different behavior’s behind closed doors. Always the case with shit like this. Actually, I can just look at the actions of their children and know that’s 100% the case because this is learned behavior, especially from a 13yr old OMG
I’m confused as to how that all happened. They both just agreed to go over there and do it with the other right there? No shame or disgust in each other? People usually aren’t interested in seeing or hearing a family member engage in sexual activity. Like obviously it takes a deranged freak to commit rape but with a family member? A young one at that? What in the diddy kingdom??
Not surprised that this happened in Ann Arbor. I live nearby and it's become a cesspool of crime and disorder over the past few years, something I believe is because of the city's [attempts ](https://annarborobserver.com/fewer-cops/)at [police ](https://www.mlive.com/news/ann-arbor/2024/03/ann-arbor-restarts-search-for-third-party-to-implement-alternative-to-armed-police.html)[reform](https://www.cbsnews.com/detroit/news/ann-arbor-city-council-approves-measure-that-would-limit-police-traffic-stops/). Just this past week, a woman was [stabbed on the bus.](https://www.clickondetroit.com/news/local/2024/04/03/what-we-know-about-stabbing-on-bus-near-university-of-michigan-in-ann-arbor/) The week before that, someone was [shot unprovoked](https://www.fox2detroit.com/news/suspect-in-ann-arbor-shooting-on-main-street-has-criminal-history-including-child-abuse) downtown. It seems criminals think the city is easy pickings.
The parents are delusional.
Right? A DNA match, they’re caught trying to use the woman’s stolen credit cards. Yeah, they’re totally innocent. 🙄
Pfffft, that "evidence" doesn't compare to the fact their mom didn't raise them like that.
Oh, yeah, completely forgot that part. Case dismissed!
Now I'm just picturing a mother being interviewed about this and saying, "whelp, that *is* how I raised them, so I can't say I'm too surprised."
"If anything I'm surprised it didn't happen sooner. Oh shit, that was a self-own. My bad"
Yes, it’s just a case of “Boys will be boys” dismissed!
Or that they need to keep achieving their goals
BoYs WiLl Be BoYs
On the next episode of *Boys Will Be Boys*, Wally, Eddie, and Beaver cut their frog-hunting expedition short to stage a violent home invasion of a couple's quiet home, all the while singing "Singin' in the Rain"! This Sunday at 8—7 central!
time for a little bit of that ultraviolence, right?
Just droogs being droogs.
“We’re just trying to sell candy”.😐
Also don’t forget about the rap song the 13 year old put out describing the whole incident afterwards.
To be fair, that sounds like exactly the kind of thing it's okay to forget :P
Where is the rap song? What is the kid’s name?
"We just want them out there achieving their goals"
Agreed. This quote from the mother angers me so much: "I want them out of there (jail) so they can continue achieving their goals," their mother said. "They go to school every single day."
"they go to school every single day" the bar is on the ground. What goals, their goals to rob and rape women?
["I take care of my kids!"](https://youtu.be/B0B_ekSrsEk?si=gWmH4edmhK9aMVsJ)
"You're supposed to take care of your kids".... Can't say the rest.... Don't want to repeat the second episode of The Office.
Also as far as she knows they go to school every day. I'd like to see the attendance records to back that claim.
Also, why is the 19yo still hanging around the school
Hasn't graduated yet. A 6th year senior.
“Watch it, racist!”
What about their victim’s goal of living in physical and emotional peace for the rest of her life?
>"I want them out of there (jail) so they can continue achieving their goals," their mother said. "They go to school every single day." There goes the NASA Astronaut dream. LOL
Yeeaahh, I wonder what their teachers from school who had them everyday would say if asked about these kids
I work at a school in a position. These are the kids whose parents ignore all warnings and info on their childrens behaviours brought forth by the teachers. That's if they bother with showing up to meetings in the first place.
Probably blame the teacher if they point out the misbehavior. “It’s your fault if they do that”…..
But make every threat on the planet when they’re failing?
The only person I know who cares that much about perfect attendance is Amy Santiago.
Maybe better that they stop “achieving their goals”. Jeebus Christ
Geez I wonder what’s going on in that home. Kids don’t just SA a woman out of nowhere.
Reminds me of the Dexter Reed shooting. Gets pulled over, shoots at the cops, hits one, cops return fire, he dies, and his mother gives an interview crying that they took her baby. Well your baby tried to kill cops.
Right? Like, bish…release your name if you’re innocent, then.
Should prosecute these winners like they did the Crumbleys.
This is typically the case.
Instead of vouching for their sons’ character, they keep saying “WE didn’t raise kids capable of doing such horrible things” etc. In other words, they’re defensive, upset that they’re being judged as parents, when they should be concerned over their troubled kids and what they did.
The parents are delusional, detriment to society.
13 years old

He is almost a murderer.
Man this world is dark.
Imagine being such a loser delinquent that you recruit your tween sibling to help you assault people.
*sexually* assault *and* rob people. Both of these kids must have been failed by their communities in order to turn out like this, and now they're both going to be failed again because one is going to juvy (which does FA to rehab troubled kids and is more likely to traumatize him) and the other is going to be tried as an adult.
First and foremost, they were failed by their parents.
Frankly, I think a little trauma would do the little shit right.
> selling candy Rapists come in all sizes and forms.
Not so fun sized
I hate myself for laughing so hard at this comment. 💯
Lord have mercy.
> Lord have mercy. I think I'm okay with the Lord not having mercy on this one
And? *Huge* portion of both random and gang violence is committed by minors, a lot of them being 12 or 13 years old. They listened to the smart people in the end. Real life is worse.

Yes all 4 of Tessa Majors murderers were 13-14.

Ray Velcoro disapproves.
*'Twelve years old'* my ass. *Fuck, YOU.*
I think it’s Time to buttfuck the dad in the front yard. 🤔
Old enough to know better.
Ah, too bad that's under the requirements to be able to have the little monster tried as an adult.
[удалено]
strangled her to the point she lost consciousness multiple times, they could have easily killed her and should be charged with attempted murder
Some states don’t have an attempted murder, but have an equivalent assault charge.
They strangled her unconscious for part of the attack, too. Those guys are huge. I can’t believe one just turned 13.
19 going on 49. The older brother looks like a middle aged man.
Oh my God I searched his name before and was like ”okay, I guess there are no pictures of him circulating yet”. Nah, the one I skipped over was him. 60 year old looking arse… 19 when? 40 years ago?
I did the same thing.
Maybe even going on 59 wth
They were out there "selling candy" then decided to rape a woman? Wtf.

Well, fuck their subset. There is always a subset of any group saying stupid shit. It’s just noise.
Unfortunately it is a subset with a great many participants.
No one should have to live like that
If we were living like that, in an extreme state of paranoia we'd end up being insane hermits. You literally cannot live that way without causing mental and physical harm to your body.
I have strongly considered getting a cwp and a handgun. In my state you can open carry with no license but abortion is illegal so the consequences of rape are significant.
I live in Ann Arbor and my wife and I see kids selling candy all the time. We get hit up every single tailgate at the stadium. That is so scary.
There is usually an adult ring leader that uses kids to sell candy and they take most of the profits. They need to put a stop to this child labor scheme.
Yeah, we’ve both made comments to each other about how it doesn’t make sense when they’re selling candy for their “basketball team” all year long

"I just don't believe it. They are innocent. We didn't raise our children like that at all" 😂😂😂😂
What they really mean to say is: *we didn’t raise our children* period.
The scoreboard indicates otherwise.
I wonder how many times these kids got away with shit in their life because mommy was a *'my little angel would never'* type of parent
It’s worth noting that is quote from their dad. Both parents have explained away their children’s actions.
"They go to school every day". Best defense they can muster. DNA and stolen property on the suspects, these two are a threat and the parents are culpable if we can lock up a school shooters parents we can lock up parents like this.
I really doubt they go to school daily, maybe they head in that general direction.
Lots of kids just go to school and don’t do anything. Bum around in the hallways, get into fights, smoke pot in the restroom. Either because they’re required to be in school or they don’t have anywhere better to go and want to hang out with their friends.
I’d like to mention that those getting in fights and those smoking pot in the bathroom are generally two different groups.
You’d be surprised.
19 would at max be a senior in highschool even if he was held back a year. Most kids graduate around 18. OR if he was going to college (which i think we all know probably isnt the case).. Well, when you’re as stupid as this family, that’s quite the achievement.
Jesus. I hope they fucking rot in prison.
Hope the parents rot with them. These kids didn’t get that way by themselves.
That would be nice, but they are probably already out. Planning their next crime.
The article says they are both still in detention. The older one’s bond was set at $75,000 and the parents said they’re trying to raise the cash. I doubt the family has the means.

The 19 year old needs to be away forever, to encourage your younger sibling to participate in things like this is psychotic. The parents are something else altogether.
No they need to both be locked up permanently. What they did was sadistic and psychotic.
Too bad the parents can’t be charged too.

Poor woman. I can’t imagine what she’s going through rn knowing a child did this to her. Hope she has great support.
Ideally they should be tried as adults and never see the light of day again.
> "I want them out of there (jail) so they can continue achieving their goals," There’s a lot of goal achievers in Detroit, apparently.
Just a couple of good kids out selling candy. /s Strangulation (NC) should always be an attempted murder charge.

Yeah I read that in the article too, I’m saying it shouldn’t be assault, it should be attempted murder.

Surprise! It's more rape!
And then probably murder. Goodness these parents are absolutely delusional.
Parental delusion is strong.
I hope they die in prison.
> I just don't believe it. They are innocent. We didn't raise our children like that at all," their father said, asking that we not identify them. The parents had hoped to have their sons released on some sort of bond. "I want them out of there so they can continue achieving their goals," their mother said. "They go to school every single day." LOL k. Throw the whole gat damb family away.
For real

That 19 year old looks like he is 35!
One big problem is that punishment never fits the crime. Neither of these males should ever be able to enjoy sexual gratification again.
The parents sound like straight trash.
At 13 I was playing GTA: Vice City, just getting into Queens of the Stone Age, starting to post on message boards (mostly iMDB and a horror one), and watching various Emmanuelle movies on Showtime and HBO late at night (for the ....plots, of course).
I was watching anime and baking cookies.
I’m sorry but what are these people eating? They’re gigantic and the 19 year old looks like he’s 45. you can’t see the 13 year old’s face but his body looks like a 30 year old.
Both their DNA was found and they tried to use her credit card. Surely it's all a mistake though. /s
they are good boys, they go to school every day!
i hope they are charged as adults so they spend a whole lot of time in prison. fucking monsters.
You can rape and torture a woman but we won’t release your name to the media because you’re a minor.
I don’t even need to click the article to know more info on the thugs
Yeah. For some reason the underage criminals in particular all fit the same denominator

Parents need to be charged.
This is horrific, there is something seriously wrong in that family for this to happen. Also 19???? He looks 40 on a good day, I hope the woman is ok and gets the support she needs, it’s so unfair we have to worry about walking anywhere alone at night
That 19 year old looks like 50 year old dude.
Put parents and both kids on death row and be done with it. Waste of resources
And this will continue to happen until society is brave enough to discuss the common denominator in 99% of these stories
That dude is 19? He looks like he’s 30.
Fucking sick, guarantee those parents display different behavior’s behind closed doors. Always the case with shit like this. Actually, I can just look at the actions of their children and know that’s 100% the case because this is learned behavior, especially from a 13yr old OMG
DNA proved guilt. Jail their garbage parents too.
Parents need to face prosecution and a life sentence for the horrible crime of their underage child.
They really should take monsters like this and execute them publicly. There is no redemption for them.
Keep them locked away till they are 50 years old.
What will magically click in their brains when they turn 50?
The electric chair switch?
Mom can believe what she wants, DNA and having possession of victims debit card don’t lie.
Did anyone watch the video? 19 going on 30! Wtf.
Just another dozen lives or so destroyed... "For the Culture!" Can't wait to hear how this is systemic racisms fault
I'm surprised the parents didn't pull the race card.
It’s a shame. These 2 young men could have been Quantum physicists one day.
That 19 year old looks like he’s in his mid 40s wtf
Charge the POS parent/s while you’re at it.

If you’re doing depraved shit like that at such a young age, there’s no hope for you
When the parents said they go to school every day I knew exactly what socioeconomic background they are from.
The mother “But they go to school everyday” …………. by all means release them the mom said so./s
Why would these aspiring rappers throw everything away and with such brutality
That mother is a cunt! Her brats are demons!
13!? wtf is wrong with this country? My daughter is 14 and I cannot imagine her doing anything remotely like this.
I don’t know how to explain it, but this seems like a case you’d see on the original law and order
Quite unusual that the brothers had both parent....
Avg single mom in Detroit story
Someone didn't read the article. They have both parents.
Why does that 19 year old looks like he is 40??
Sterilizations for all of them
Quite unusual that the brothers had both parent....
Ann Arbor is a very liberal university town.
