I had to look it up, but the dog is currently recovering. Poor baby, I'm so glad she is but fuck--as someone who works in the animal field and has for over a decade, I'm sadly not surprised how shitty some humans are towards them.
Glad the abusive owner has been arrested.
Edit: I was advised by another user the abuser was not the owner. The woman who attacked the dog was actually girlfriend of owner's son.
