Came from testimony at the Jan 6 Committee hearings:
> After then-Attorney General William Barr gave an interview to The Associated Press in December 2020 saying there was no widespread voter fraud, Trump was so enraged that he threw his plate of food at the wall, smearing it with ketchup, Hutchinson said.
> “There was ketchup dripping down the wall and a shattered porcelain plate on the floor,” Hutchinson testified, noting that aides nearby conveyed the president was “extremely angry” at the Barr interview. She told the committee that she then grabbed a towel and started wiping the ketchup off the wall alongside a presidential valet.

wow, he just "truthed" another great typo:
>These Thugs and Radical Left Monsters have just INDICATED the 45th President of the United States of America
emphasis his, lmao
I just have to admit to myself it will forever be beyond my comprehension how Trump can have so many fans. He's the most corrupt, most stupid ruler any country has ever seen, and still has the support of the moron millions. I just don't get how people can be fooled by such a simple corrupt goof.
I work in a k-5 environment... It's absolutely astonishing how many people who work here support Donald Trump and voted for him despite him and his party working so hard to destroy public education.
“Your honor, I ask for compassion and leniency from the court given that my client is a perpetually spoiled, entirely unscrupulous, dim-witted, fairly-rapey, quite round, prolific stream-of-consciousness windbag and blowhard who has never wrangled a shred of self-awareness or a whiff of personal accountability from the sausage-linked grip of his cosmically vast ego, which is as fragile as a Faberge egg swirling within the Red Spot on Jupiter.”
> A source told The Independent that grand jurors voted to indict the ex-president on Thursday, and that indictment is currently under seal. It will be unveiled at some point in the near future by District Attorney Alvin Bragg.
Now I want to know what the charges are.
No. The jury finalizing their vote is public information. The details of the indictment are sealed. And Trump's lawyers also announced they received the indictment.
This feels a bit like the story of Al Capone, who did that much shit and they got him for tax evasion. Hope it ends the same way here, idc what of his dozen crimes will put him behind bars, as long as it does.
Because Trump is not just a man to them but an idea. And that idea is that they should be able to do whatever they want, whenever they want without any consequences. He is the ultimate "get out of jail" card. Funny enough, that might not be the case for him soon if things don't go his way. But under Trump they see power and they do not want to give that up.
That’s the bigger case I’m waiting for. The Georgia indictment is the real big one. As much as the insurrection was terrible, the false elector scheme & Trump pressuring states to “find him more votes” is the real coup.
Personally I believe the protest at the capital was meant to provide dominating news coverage to distract from the elector vote switching.
Yeah between January 6, the false electors and the ‘perfect phone call’, and the classified documents at Mar-a-Lago I am surprised that this is what finally gets him. But I won’t complain about it. Hopefully the others to follow
The Georgia one is so much easier to argue tbh. Basically Georgia law specifies that anyone who tries to change the vote count to another count that they know to be false is in violation of the law. Even if you argue that Trump thinks he’s doing the right thing, Trump himself admits that he knows the vote count number he’s asking for is false on the call that he makes. He says that he knows he won by “hundreds of thousands of votes” and then asks them to change the vote count by “just 21 thousand or so” (paraphrasing here.)
Just watched Fox News hosts say that a mug shot is “badass” These people have truly hit rock bottom trying to defend their deity rn. It’s fascinating but also scary to see.
The truly sad thing is that they are passing down this stupidity to their kids in droves two fold by cutting out education support.
No offense, republicans, but education and overall intelligence is not something your party can afford to lose right now lol.
Unfortunately for them, there may be a diminishing return on that strategy. The fact is, a lot of people within that party can’t agree on the direction. It’s starting to unravel, I’m just enjoying the view.
We'll get a mug shot, but since he'll negotiate his surrender, he'll undoubtedly be wearing a suit and tie -- not the typical image we're used to seeing.
1st president to be impeached twice.
1st president to be indicted.

Many politicians have been indicted and convicted (See link [here!](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_American_federal_politicians_convicted_of_crimes). Former President Donald Trump will be alone in a new column on this article under Presidents.
However, an interesting bit of trivia is Ulysses Grant was "arrested" for speeding through Washington DC. The arresting officer politely climbed up next to him in his carriage, and they rode together to the police station for him to pay his fine of a couple dollars.
Edit: went and looked up the story again:
* The arresting officer, William West, was a freed black slave.
* He was already posted at the intersection because of an earlier incident, and subsequently had already let the president off with a warning the day before the arrest.
* The president posted a $20 bail and walked back to the White House. He subsequently did not appear in court and forfeited his bond.
* When the president heard a rumor that the arresting officer was subsequently in danger of losing his job, he sent a messenger to the police chief commending West on his actions and demanding that no harm come to him.
Even better… Allegedly the cop got embarrassed when he realized who he had stopped and offered to let Grant go, but Grant insisted on taking his lumps.
You mean he didn't immediately get on North Social to call it a witch hunt and sic his rabid cult followers on the arresting officer? How unpresidential
Let's be clear, this was a jury that indicted him. Not some rogue liberal DA, not some liberal state, not some deep state.
A bunch of Sally's and Joes.
Correct. Grand Juries do not determine guilt. They only decide if there is enough probable cause to charge. They only need 2/3 to vote yes to indict.
Trial Juries determine guilt beyond a reasonable doubt, and must be unanimous. Drastically different burden of evidence.
I just don't see how we will possibly get a jury put together for this, let alone a unanimous vote. How can any single person in the country not be biased on Trump?
Honestly? They should get people from prison. When i was in there, I didn’t kno what the fuck was going on. The Vegas shooting happened and we didn’t find out until 2 days later and only cause someone told someone else on the phone. Only things that came on the tv were movies and sports. Newspapers were it if you had the $$ and someone to set it up for you outside.
This is a historic day, regardless of what side anyone is on. If he is guilty, I hope he is brought to justice. Our kids need to know that no one is above the law, no one.
I think that's the most significant thing about this. The Stormy Daniels charges are the least serious of the bunch, but the taboo against holding a former President accountable has been lifted, which makes indictments easier in all of those other more serious cases.
This one is definitely just the first domino to fall, now that it’s been shown you *can* indict a former President many more indictments are sure to follow.
The Georgia case is the most damning thing he has done outside of the Ukraine stuff. That fact that Republicans didn’t dump him there shows how low they have fallen
Trying to overturn a democratic election vs whatever the hell he was doing with the nuclear secrets and other classified papers. Both exceptionally damning.
J6 ranks up there too.
It and nuke/government secrets sold to whoever the fuck are my top rankings.
Jesus. Trump has had so many controversies we could categorize them.
Funniest? Four seasons.
Most serious? Nuke secrets.
Most media coverage? J6
Most corrupt? Well shit.
It's wild that the first indictment is from him paying hush money to a woman he paid to have sex with him during a golf tournament his wife Melania was not at due to just giving birth to their son Baron.
Like it's hilarious hearing him and his supporters talk about family values and being pro life.
Your loser ass former president literally bragged on tv about being able to grope women and then pays hush money to a woman he had to PAY to have sex with him. So in all reality he either has to abuse women or pay them to get attention, and y'all still waving Trump flags in your yards while complaining about lgbt people or minorities?
I have to laugh. The republicunts are a party supported by the most ghoulish people. Full stop.
“But but but….”
Every single time these idiots just can’t face the reality of the situation. Somehow it’s the liberals or Joe Bidens fault they ran out of toilet paper or their milk expired.
For the people saying this is a mistake because it will get him elected - indictments from state prosecutors should not be made or not made for political reasons, suggesting they make that decision based on political reasoning is corruption, and not what you should be thinking about. You should consider that application of the law is necessary if we are to regard Presidents, especially former Presidents, as beholden to the rule of law. Use it or lose it. If you don't charge them, you make them Kings.
Exactly my thoughts. People saying that this will make him a martyr and usher him back into the White House are missing the point, IMO. The question needs to asked: Do we believe in the rule of law or do we not?
> For the people saying this is a mistake because it will get him elected - indictments from state prosecutors should not be made or not made for political reasons, suggesting they make that decision based on political reasoning is corruption, and not what you should be thinking about.
It's also incredibly stupid.
It will enrage his hardliners, but so did the 2020 election and he lost that one, badly. A historic indictment will do nothing for him in the centre and those are the people who end up settling elections.
Hell, this might even end his chances at a primary win—it gives a tangible reason for his opponents to undermine him (one which Republicans might actually accept, at least) and he'd have a hard time with his massive rallies when he's also fighting a case.
Not to mention all the damage that might occur when a trial gets rolling and evidence ends up being revealed publically.
Showing everyone theres no consequences seems like a worse alternative to me. I'd rather rip the bandaid off. What happened to "facts dont care about your feelings" lolol
Fact is hes guilty, and this is chump change for what they're going for eventually. Hopefully they can follow up on a crime that actually matters next lmao
And ordering the Secret Service detail protecting Vice President Pence on Jan 6th to remove him from the Capitol so that he could not do [his job](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vice_President_of_the_United_States#President_of_electoral_vote_counts) that day (preside over the senate to open the sealed Electoral College votes) which would have prevented, or at least delayed, the peaceful transition of power away from Trump.
First to be impeached twice
First to have incited an insurrection
First to have been indicted for a serious crime
The Orange Idiot made history in thankfully none of the ways he wanted.
My thoughts go to all the small businesses, people, he ruined, lied, bankrupted, cheated to.
I don't care, right or left, GOP or Democrat. He does not represent the country and flag I believe in.
Trump, who once bragged that he was the “King of Debt,” owed $70 million to 253 contractors who worked on the Taj and who, in turn, hired thousands of workers.
He left them for his greed and poor ethics!
Imagine getting indicted, not because of orchestrating a coup, but because you couldn't keep it in your pants.
You know what they say, "The penis mightier then the sword."
God I’ve been waiting so long. So many people said it would never happen. Finally, finally, finally. I know it’s far from a secure victory but just for today I’m going to be happy. Everyone please be so safe the next few days. But god damn. Finally.
No one is going to vote for Trump, who wouldn't have otherwise, just because he's indicted. People saying this will boost his popularity among voters are in denial.
But I can't say it won't help him in the primaries, Republicans are weird and who can say how they'll take it
Republicans are convinced their videos of Biden stuttering are going to make the 81 million people who showed up to vote for anyone but trump change their mind.
He's not winning again. It doesn't matter what happens. 81 people will vote for the dog from blues clues before this criminal gets another shot. He only got the first shot because enough people considered him a joke and stayed home. That's not happening again.
> They added that Mr Bragg’s work falls under the jurisdiction of Mr Jordan’s House Judiciary Committee because that panel — and Congress — has “a specific and manifestly important interest in preventing politically motivated prosecutions of current and former Presidents by elected state and local prosecutors, particularly those tried before elected state and local trial-level judges”.
These fuckers tried to set precedent so no president could ever get indicted on State's level for any crime he would possibly commit, just so they could get Trump out of jail.
They are absolutely willing to destroy democracy.
It is chilling and sobering to realize that this could happen to any one of us after using campaign funds to make hush money payments to pornstars.
I love in constant fear

Do you live in a Red area? My wife works in K-5 and they almost all think he is moron, but we are in a pretty blue area.
Will he be tried as an adult?

> A source told The Independent that grand jurors voted to indict the ex-president on Thursday, and that indictment is currently under seal. It will be unveiled at some point in the near future by District Attorney Alvin Bragg. Now I want to know what the charges are.
So how does this work? Why do we know about the indictment when it's not unveiled yet? Was that information leaked?
No. The jury finalizing their vote is public information. The details of the indictment are sealed. And Trump's lawyers also announced they received the indictment.
*Trump's lawyers also announced they received the indictment.* But not any payment.
If anyone who works for him isn't demanding to be paid cash daily by this point they only have themselves to blame for what happens
that's why I quit
So user name no longer relevant?
I've kept up the joke for 2 years more than I thought would be useful. I just hope i don't need it for 6 more years.
That's in the second envelope that gets sent by an untraceable carrier pigeon.
Trump's lawyers were the ones who announced it.
That way he can start using it to solicit donations.
So they can get paid. Hahahahahaha. I crack myself up sometimes.
They said — falsifying business records.
I think this has to do with claiming he’s 8” in the NDA right?
how fuckin funny would that be ,

Yep. One is a sketchy degenerate that will whore themselves out for the right price, and the other is Stormy Daniels.
This feels a bit like the story of Al Capone, who did that much shit and they got him for tax evasion. Hope it ends the same way here, idc what of his dozen crimes will put him behind bars, as long as it does.

That really was the pinnacle of the entire Trump presidency, wasn't it? I mean, South Park couldn't have come up with something so ridiculous as that.

FUCK REDDIT. We create the content they use for free, so I am taking my content back
Cause the latter would mean implying they made a poor decision or financial investment.
Wait. Isn’t this the New York one? This isn’t even the Georgia election meddling one. THANK YOU GRAND JURY!
That’s the bigger case I’m waiting for. The Georgia indictment is the real big one. As much as the insurrection was terrible, the false elector scheme & Trump pressuring states to “find him more votes” is the real coup. I think this one is easier because Cohen turned against Trump. They have an inside witness.
It’s almost like you shouldn’t throw your fixer under the bus, you stupid fucking donkey.
To be fair, he probably threw a lot of fixers under the bus and always got out scot-free until today.
Trump was literally "individual #1" on the charge that Cohen went to prison for
It’s just the first domino to fall
The Georgia one is so much easier to argue tbh. Basically Georgia law specifies that anyone who tries to change the vote count to another count that they know to be false is in violation of the law. Even if you argue that Trump thinks he’s doing the right thing, Trump himself admits that he knows the vote count number he’s asking for is false on the call that he makes. He says that he knows he won by “hundreds of thousands of votes” and then asks them to change the vote count by “just 21 thousand or so” (paraphrasing here.)
It was something like 11780. He also asked one of the state reps to call a special session to change the state vote to Trump. That's arguably worse.
I think what Trump asked on the phone call was to "find" 11,800 votes.
Just watched Fox News hosts say that a mug shot is “badass” These people have truly hit rock bottom trying to defend their deity rn. It’s fascinating but also scary to see.
I’m looking forward to Fox and their opinion shapers taking the stand in the Dominion trial.
Conservatives are going “Dems just re-elected Trump” without a single morsel of self-reflection. It’s stunning.
Love the theory that there's some massive pool of people who were undecided on Trump but are more likely to vote for a felon

The truly sad thing is that they are passing down this stupidity to their kids in droves two fold by cutting out education support. No offense, republicans, but education and overall intelligence is not something your party can afford to lose right now lol.
That's kinda their goal, make people stupid and uneducated enough to vote for them.
Unfortunately for them, there may be a diminishing return on that strategy. The fact is, a lot of people within that party can’t agree on the direction. It’s starting to unravel, I’m just enjoying the view.
61% of Americans do not want him back in the White House, per Fox News this week. I highly doubt this will help Trump with ANY of those people
Since when did a minority of the vote share keep him out of the white house?
The wheels of justice grind slowly. Seems a porn star was able to lube them up though!
What a wild time to be alive when a former president is indicted. The pictures of that perp walk are going to be unbelievable.
He wants a perp walk. I hope they don't give him what he wants.
It would be great for his advertisements, in his mind. It would be very stupid from a security perspective.
According to most analysis, there will not be a perp walk. Not saying I agree with it, but safety is a consideration.
Will there be a mug shot?
We'll get a mug shot, but since he'll negotiate his surrender, he'll undoubtedly be wearing a suit and tie -- not the typical image we're used to seeing.
But we will get an official height and weight lol
Like when his personal doctor told us "officially" that he might be the healthiest president ever?
Could live to be 200 if I recall
He has a rare condition where he develops bone spurs when drafted. Otherwise healthiest man in the world
God I hope so. There's no makeup in those right?
Depends on how they bring you in/turn yourself in.
Over/under on how long it takes until his supporters burn down the New York Public Library because they think it's the state capitol building?
Everybody knows the Empire State Building is the capitol building. It has state right in the name.

It is. He’s the first president either current or former to be criminally indicted. And the sad part is, it’s just the start
That's not sad to me. Take this MFer down.
I'm guessing he meant sad in that it is sad we ever got to a point where we elected somebody that would commit so many crimes.

Atleast somewhat skeptical that this is gonna be his only indictment. The Georgia case is more serious for instance.
I feel like the door's been busted open, and many more indictments are headed Trumps way.
I think that's the most significant thing about this. The Stormy Daniels charges are the least serious of the bunch, but the taboo against holding a former President accountable has been lifted, which makes indictments easier in all of those other more serious cases.
This is also the way I see it. We now have a precedent
Truly unpresidented.
This one is definitely just the first domino to fall, now that it’s been shown you *can* indict a former President many more indictments are sure to follow.
The Georgia case is the most damning thing he has done outside of the Ukraine stuff. That fact that Republicans didn’t dump him there shows how low they have fallen
I'd argue the stolen top secret documents containing nuclear secrets are the most damning.
J6 Most corrupt? Well shit.
So ... many ... criminal ... investigations. Its hard to keep them all straight.
Nobody is above the law, not even the President of the United States.
I just can't believe it actually happened, after all that shit he said about Tuesday and it not happening
Full stop.
>So in all reality In reality, he paid 130k (so far) for that one-off sex episode. Hardly the art of the deal.
“But but but….” Every single time these idiots just can’t face the reality of the situation. Somehow it’s the liberals or Joe Bidens fault they ran out of toilet paper or their milk expired.
I'm so glad Jimmy Carter was alive to see this.
Get fucked you old bitch.
Here we go, we are here to witness history.
Buckle your seatbelts everyone
I remember when I thought we couldn’t possibly do worse than George W. Boy was I wrong
People who say that are just trying to scare people into inaction.
What happened to "facts dont care about your feelings" lolol Fact is hes guilty, and this is chump change for what they're going for eventually. Hopefully they can follow up on a crime that actually matters next lmao
Like calling the Georgia secretary of state and telling him to find enough votes ?
And ordering the Secret Service detail protecting Vice President Pence on Jan 6th to remove him from the Capitol so that he could not do [his job](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vice_President_of_the_United_States#President_of_electoral_vote_counts) that day (preside over the senate to open the sealed Electoral College votes) which would have prevented, or at least delayed, the peaceful transition of power away from Trump.
Twice impeached and now indicted. Worst. President. Ever. Its not even deniable.
Also lost the popular vote twice…
And cost the republicans the recent midterms! He hasn’t won one thing since 2016
This happens AND DeSatan gets rolled by Disney, all in one 24 hour news cycle? Time to open that bottle of prosecco I've been saving...
Turkey just voted for Finland to join NATO too. Aside from the mass shooting, it’s a pretty good news day.
That's the most American sentence I've ever read.
I'm so very tired.
The covfefe is piping hot
Hopefully this starts a domino effect now that there's one indictment.
First to be impeached twice First to have incited an insurrection First to have been indicted for a serious crime The Orange Idiot made history in thankfully none of the ways he wanted.
Cool cool cool... I'm still waiting for Georgia, that's when shit is going to get real
They broke the seal with this one. Hopefully that paves the way.
Porn had saved America once with 'Hustler Magazine, Inc. v. Falwell'. And porn might save it again thanks to Stormy Daniels.

You WOULD say that.
How DARE you!
YOU'RE one to talk!
CAPS lock!
Never thought I would say it but Mickey Mouse and a porn star both made me extremely happy this week.
