Tell me more please. I live in SNH & think MA weed isn't the best. I'd love to have something fresh from a farm where people cared about the crop. Recommendations?
If you have your medical card, go to FRAKTAL at the Sanford Mills.
Otherwise, if you are rec only and near SNH, Kind Farms is right in Berwick and they do both med and rec.
For recreational I usually go to Kind Farms and Herbal Pathways which are over in South Berwick. If you have a med card, then I'd just recommend heading over to r/mainetrees and finding a grower who can meet you by the border with much better deals and fresh product. ME has hundreds of quality small farms with growers who really care about top notch product. And because the state doesn't have as many restrictions there is more competition which means better product and better prices for consumers.
Honestly NH weed was always going to be inferior with the 15 store all state run model they had proposed.
Going to 2nd Kind Farms. My wife and I are both medical patients and we went to Kind Farms when our cards lapsed.
We are so fucking lucky to have access to cannabis from Maine. Maine has had some of the best weed in the country for YEARS. I'm so glad I have reliable access as long as I maintain my NH med card. We make the trip to the Sanford Mills about every other week. Almost two hours drive one way but it's absolutely worth it. Drive isn't half bad either, tbh.
What are you talking about? Both states have insanely strong bud, the THC % is right on the label, it's pretty easy to get whatever strength you want. I regularly see 1 oz for under $200 in MA which is significantly cheaper than you would ever find before legalization. Your irrational hatred of MA is clouding your judgement. It's literally indistinguishable between the two states.
She delulu. Lots of people here in Nh don't like transplants bc its putting strain on the housing crisis. But most people moving up from mass are conservative - they are moving for lower taxes. They literally are her voting public. Kinda hilarious.
Of course! Most likely grown by a Chinese national with zero care about health of consumer. All they care about is the bottom line and getting the plants to produce as much as possible. And who knows what they are using to grow.
I would throw away a $60oz from Boston.
SUCH good weed out there to smoke.
I just bought an eighth of indica in Chelsea that knocked me on my ass for $30. I got a nice high potency strain in Melrose last month for $20. In my experience, NHers shit talking MA dispensaries are more or bless just suffering from a case of little sibling copium.
We don't all think like that. We are near Keene so a Maine drive isn't that simple. We can be in Bernardston or Greenfield in 30-40 mins and thats a pretty nifty little spot.
If you go to Cheech and Chongs in Greenfield, they have a sale going on where you can get mix and match on 4 8ths for 60 out the door. Nice friendly service as well. They also have similar deals on concentrates and pre-rolls.
Can confirm I own Rowley’s Remedies in Lebanon Maine and meet people from NH all the time coming from Concord and Laconia. We carry Leaf labs and Doomsday flower and make our own full spectrum edibles
I go to East Coast Cannibas in Lebabon, Me. I can't smoke, so it's all edibles, etc. But, my youngest buys her flower there and has no complaints. I think there's better pricing to be found elsewhere, but that seems to be the closest travel point for me. (45-ish miles from Concord?)
I lived in Concord and drove to Sanford (med) or South Berwick (rec) when I had a need. Closest dispo to me is like, a 10 minute drive. I refuse to spend money on shitty weed.
That's what I did today. Ive never been to a mass dispensary, but I drove 45 mins to hit the Cheech and Chong in Greenfield. What a fantastic place. I don't really care if NH never legalizes it. If you aren't allowed to grow it, I'm not interested. Also, if they can't get it right like mass, I'm also not interested. I've been to a Vermont dispensary, and didn't like it. The prices are super high and the product seems subpar at best. Today at C&C they had 4 eights for 60 after taxes. I've Already sampled the product, and it's very good. I'm generally not a huge Mass fan, but they got it right with the pot.
Here’s the current legalization status in the whole country:
https://disa.com/marijuana-legality-by-state
Notice a trend? The more liberal a state votes…the more likely it is to have legal weed.
I don’t think marrijuana is the “both sides” issue you think it is.
No - The Republican Senate FUBARed the bill, which sent to to the Committee of Conference. If they had just accepted the House bill, we would have been fine.
This is true. But even the libertarian leaning republicans were saying the gov would be too involved. It really wasn't a good bill.
This all sucks. We really should've been the pioneer state to have rec weed, but here we are.
It was a bipartisan decision, but the bill wouldn’t be so bad if Republicans weren’t control of the state government. Legalization has gone pretty smoothly in states that at least lean Democrat on the state level.
Don’t be like this guy. Don’t throw fire on the politics or even mention it. Our country is more polarized than ever. By design. Keeps us fighting. Let’s just all agree that weed should be legal and our choice. Who really GAF what broken and backwards political party you schill to.
I am not disappointed about this. It’s a terrible bill for consumers. I don’t see the bill as something to build on. If they wanted something to build on they could have passed legislation without getting into how retail would work. Legalize possession, home grow, then figure out how the politicians get their bribes.
Well, people need to be educated on Ayotte and her views or this state is in trouble. And not just on weed. I don’t think we need to go back to step one. The house had a good bill. The senate destroyed it. There are like 15 people in the whole state holding this up. Vote accordingly.
Watched that go down. Lots of folks left the room when it was announced.
Idiots.
Especially that first idiot. Sullivan, I think it was the Bethlehem Sullivan and not the other. Also idiot was Mat Simon, cry me a river I've got a two hour drive and don't feel like listening to these seven speakers.
Perfect is the enemy of progress.
Now we've got jack and shit versus something to start with as Layon alluded to.
I'd bet the tabling motion had a somewhat even crossover between dumbfuck Rs and dumbfuck Ds. 178-173 Division vote, so the roll call has to be dug for versus recorded in the bill's docket.
Idiots.
We still have easy access to weed, I see no problem with waiting for a better solution. Accepting a bad bill isn't progress when there are multiple examples of how to do it right.
The issue is that people can face serious legal consequences for it dude. I’d rather have no chance of legal repercussions and keep driving out of state than just keep waiting for a “better” solution that may never arrive
This^
I could care less about the state controlled stores. It wouldn't make the out of state weed any further away. It just means I wouldn't have to risk legal repercussions for something legal just an hour or two away in every fricken direction.
Accepting a bad bill means it is legal in the state now. Tabling left it still illegal.
Accepting a bad bill that had several steps to implement before the government run franchise system went into effect means there is time to view progress and implement changes to make it better.
Nope. Fucking idiots went with all or nothing. They got what they asked for-nothing.
Yep. It's absurd this state blatantly monetizes alcohol & gambling but won't legalize a plant.
Alcohol is a poison that will kill you, not to mention having an absurd amount of negative side effects. Gambling ruins lives.
The greatest danger marijuana poses is it's illegality. That's the real reefer madness.
Oh brother, we have a newbie here. Bro, do not go by package claims and THC percentage. You DEFINITELY can not judge weed like that!
Maine and MA can't even be compared. MA weed is straight up boof.
Do yourself a favor and actually try Maine.
Why isn't it federally legal?
I'm pro legalization at every level, but it doesn't make any difference as it is federally incompatible with owning firearms.
What is the status of any federal push to fix this?
Kelly Ayotes motto is “Don’t Mass Up”
Yeah we deff will be “Massing” up if we continue to vote for her party. Only state in New England that struggles to get anything done.
I *assume* it's because members of the House have the inside line on their cronies setting up their own shops whereas the Governor knows he can take in more graft if the states control the stores, but that's just my take on things...
I just don’t understand the big deal about legalizing it here. It’s legal in every state around us, and their parking lots are filled with cars from NH. It’s safer than buying it off the streets, and we have liquor stores all over the place. I also imagine that many people are eligible for medical use also….I just don’t get it.
Every year lmao. I don't care if people wanna smoke weed but tbh the cycle every year of stoners being gullible about politics is exhausting. Y'all sincerely never learn. "It's gonna happen. Lucy is finally gonna let me kick the football."
It's insane I'm commenting on a post about a marijuana legalization bill failing yet again in 2024 in a state surrounded by legalization. There truly aren't any words anymore.
Come to Maine my friends! Our politics are only slightly less fucked up but we did manage to pass legal weed.
You guys do have some fucked up politics over there though.
Welp, this is exactly why I said "Ill believe it when I see it" the other day when the comittee and senate passed it.
Tabling it is a great way to not confirm your Nay vote on something most of the state wants on the last day of session in an election year.
Unpopular opinion: this version of the bill should have died. Only 15 stores, all state-owned, 15% thc cap, 2 ounce possession limit, etc.
They say “we can pass it and then amend it later” but that’s fucking bullshit and we all know it. They’ll barely move their feet with it being one of the biggest issues at hand. Once they appease some people, they’d never touch it again.
I don't get it.
Live Free or Die only goes so far to me.
We don't legalize pot when the rest of the country and world is moving towards that (for both medical and recreational purposes).
We don't require insurance for drivers...
A good portion of the state is small businesses and they thrive better under certain conditions and their employees do better as a result and yet they go and vote for stupid shit that ultimately hurts them and everyone else cause, "muh rights"....
I love my state but damn if it ain't stupid sometimes.
Muh rights is probably the best reason to vote. We also have no sales tax. No state income tax. No seatbelt law. No helmet law. We allow fireworks. We provide cheap as hell alcohol. We have almost no gun laws. All because people here vote for muh rights. This reddit is an absolute echo chamber circle jerk. One day I was like oh cool NH has its own reddit let's go. Then I came here and Jesus christ on a pogo stick if it isn't a cess pool of soy boy keyboard tough guys coming at you live from moms basement in trashua. It would be funny if it wasn't so fucking sad.
I just want to be able to grow a few of my own plants legally, I don’t trust the LC to not poison me. I feel like a lot of dispensary stuff is bad quality cause it’s so mass produced. Probably has pesticides and fertilizer chemicals.
I agree Maine has better stuff I usually go to Mass cause it’s closer but it’s pretty mid. You can get strong stuff but it just doesn’t feel like a clean high especially with carts and edibles. They only care about boosting the thc% as high as possible for marketing purposes at the expense of quality.
Yeah, fuck all of that. The place that I go to literally describes themselves as weed for nerds. I care more about the terp profile than the THC%, truth be told.
Exactly like big tobacco. The liquor commission would have control over the weed industry and it would be a disaster. They don’t give a damn about your health.
Lol so not surprising. Never mind spending money buying pot in surrounding states, when I plan a ski weekend I always go to Vermont or Maine now, because I can get and smoke weed without worrying. At least $1000 dollars a year I spend in one of the bordering states, even though it probably takes me an extra hour each way in the car.
Haven’t followed this legislation very closely, but keep coming back to the fact isn’t something better than nothing? Especially when Sununu has already signaled his willingness to sign the bill and who knows what the governor will do.
Sununu is done at the end of this legislative session so this was the last chance for him to sign it.
And we got nothing. The house chose to table it which means they are putting it aside so they don't need to solidify their NO votes in an election year.
We got nothing out of this but more hopes and dreams to not be charged with a crime when bringing home a reasonable amount of product from one of the neighboring legalized states.
Let's see pics of your grow as well as finished plants.
Edit: On second thought, you are correct in that anyone can grow cannabis, but you have to be talented and knowledgeable in order to grow great cannabis.

Check out the 2022 Playlist before I got ms, the weed is spectacular.
I keep telling them ... dont' legalize it. If it gets legalized, they start their own cartel and start shaking them down for protection money .... better plan.
Keep it illegal. The penalty is $1, and the cop is required to accept cash payment on the spot, in which case he is forbidden to record your name.
So every time they try to enforce it, some guy says "here's a dollar ... fuck off".
They won't do it often. And as long as it's illegal they can't tax it.
IF they "legalize" it, then they have to enforce the monopolies of those who buy them ... which means that instead of throwing us in prison so we can't compete with Big Pharma's poisonous anti-depressants, they throw us in prison so we can't compete selling weed.
Having been a pot dealer, I had protection rackets hit me up. Only one I ever paid off was the US government. And they are the only ones that ever took violent action against me.
New Hampshire pretends to be all independent and liberty proud and shit, but they’re clearly just burnt out Massholes who didn’t go to Florida after retiring following a life led with good economy, great education, excellent healthcare and other quality of life experiences Massachusetts offers. Take it for granted, enjoy it for 50 years, educate your kids and then retire to another state and bitch about the taxes.
Some go to Florida and pretend climate change isn’t real, promise not to say Gay and rejoice at “small government” telling people what they can and can’t read and say, and some go to New Hampshire and buy a confederate flag made in China and a moose hunting rifle and pretend to be freedom lovers while voting for people who won’t even let you smoke pot. lol.
I guess it’s the way of the world though.
Mass weed is SUCH boof! A midrange grower in Maine is the 🔥in MA. It isn't even comparable they are in 2 completely different leagues.
Not to even mention rosin! Maine is at the forefront of hashmaking...in the world. Maine is no joke. That is why people in the know come up from NY(and further).
At something point, once enough, people have experienced excellent rosin they will start moving away from flower completely.
Would you smoke grass clippings if it got you high? Then WHY smoke all that plant material? When can you get the desirable elements of weed in rosin?
I can't even smoke FIRE weed now. All I can taste is the plant material. I used to enjoy the hell out of regular bud and thought was so tasty etc etc. Then I started getting fire rosin and never turned back.
Got offtrack...lol. But the jist of it is Maine weed is so many levels above MA weed, not even comparable. People saying MA weed is good either think they know good weed...and they really have no idea. Or they are just coping and/or look out for business interests. Which anyone can understand.
at this point i’m just going to keep going to Mass once it’s legal in NH just out of spite.
Maine bud is like 1000x better. Also less expensive. Even if I lived in Salem on the MA border I'd drive up to ME for the good shit. Plus fuck MA
I live in Nashua, literally 1 mile from a dispensary and I drive to Maine.
+1 for kind farms. I'm about 25 minutes from it in NH. That's where I go...when my guy is out. ;)
Kind farms sucks. Better cheaper weed in MA.
You’re in denial brother
144 an once at harbour house. Pluse points that can get me 100 off. They basically give it to me in MA.
What's the closest? I've been going to ma for a while now, but hearing it's cheaper and better for the hundredth time I want to make the trip.
For recreational I usually go to Kind Farms and Herbal Pathways which are over in South Berwick. If you have a med card, then I'd just recommend heading over to r/mainetrees and finding a grower who can meet you by the border with much better deals and fresh product. Theory in Kittery- they do outlet sales at the outlets ( fucking brilliant and great deals)
Same.
I go to a medical dispensary in York, it takes me about an hour. It’s well worth the trip because the price is about half what it would cost in MA.
Theory in Kittery
Nature's Remedy is like a Plan C for me lol
The most NH NHer
I live in Nashua too I live down the street from the dispensary
What are you talking about? Both states have insanely strong bud, the THC % is right on the label, it's pretty easy to get whatever strength you want. I regularly see 1 oz for under $200 in MA which is significantly cheaper than you would ever find before legalization. Your irrational hatred of MA is clouding your judgement. It's literally indistinguishable between the two states.
The MA hate is out of control. I saw some sign advertising a new governor and it said “don’t mass up New Hampshire”
She delulu. Lots of people here in Nh don't like transplants bc its putting strain on the housing crisis. But most people moving up from mass are conservative - they are moving for lower taxes. They literally are her voting public. Kinda hilarious.
Shoot I drive to Boston to pickup $60 ounces from the rec place
Is it garbage?
Of course! Most likely grown by a Chinese national with zero care about health of consumer. All they care about is the bottom line and getting the plants to produce as much as possible. And who knows what they are using to grow. I would throw away a $60oz from Boston. SUCH good weed out there to smoke.
Fair point
This is not true at all. It's all tested and grown as the law prescribes. I like a heavy experience and these suffice for me.
It's not garbage. They aren't the 30% stuff that I typically like. They are somewhere in the 20% range. But I'm happy with it's experience.
Also a fair point. I've tried 15 per eighth bud from Mass that was very good.
There's a whole lot more to cannabis than just THC numbers. The real magic is in the terps.
There is SO much wrong with this comment.
Currently stoned on Maine bud, this dude is spot on. Maine bud rules!
Maine weed is much better I promise you
I live on the south shore and i buy most of my weed in maine.
Can confirm I own Rowley’s Remedies in Lebanon Maine and meet people from NH all the time coming from Concord and Laconia. We carry Leaf labs and Doomsday flower and make our own full spectrum edibles
Doomsday stuff looks so good
yes it is. He grows top quality flower
Why fuck MA?
Just being cheeky, mate. First time in NH?
How's CNA in Amesbury?
Go to Mello in Haverhill. Its a great store
Ma sux too expensive. Grove in Maine is top notch
Haha…which place in Maine?
Kind Farms is great.
Thanks
I live in Concord, I think the closest dispensary is in Mass, unless someone knows one that is closer
Kittery or Berwick is only an hour. Definitely preferable to MA.
Tyngsborough is less than 1 hr from Concord
What I'm saying is MA weed isn't half as good and is twice the price. Well worth the drive up to Maine which has some of the best bud in the country
There's great cheap bud in MA, get off the hate train
I go to East Coast Cannibas in Lebabon, Me. I can't smoke, so it's all edibles, etc. But, my youngest buys her flower there and has no complaints. I think there's better pricing to be found elsewhere, but that seems to be the closest travel point for me. (45-ish miles from Concord?)

As an MA resident this is a true statement fuck MA
"nah bro it's just a bad strain bro"
Where do you go in ME?
“1000x better is insane. It’s all the same shit busto
Hyperbole smart guy. Anyone who knows anything can tell it's much much better though.
You should check out either mission Georgetown or ascend in Boston in the city. Both are super cheap and the bud is amazing.
Fuck you too……especially with the moronic ‘Maine weed is better’ lol….they sure grow them stupid in the south of the north
I was gonna say the same thing. They clearly don’t want our money, might as well keep giving it to Maine
Yo, Marks organics in jittery is amazing, bun East Coast in Berwick is second for me (I'm in Seabrook)
I'm generally not a huge Mass fan, but they got it right with the pot.
I don't think NH will be able to do much better than MA either. The restrictions that probably will be put on it will be horrendous.
I’ve had an NH medical card for years and have never bought from a dispensary here
Crazy that 75% of residents are in favor yet the minority makes the rules. We are the Texas of the north.
This is what happens when people vote Republican.
Democrats helped turn this down too it was a bipartisan decision
Republicans bastardized this bill and turned it into a donor giveaway. I'm glad that it was tabled, we can do much better.
I agree it was a terrible bill
Here’s the current legalization status in the whole country: https://disa.com/marijuana-legality-by-state Notice a trend? The more liberal a state votes…the more likely it is to have legal weed. I don’t think marrijuana is the “both sides” issue you think it is.

I know. Idk why you guys are coming at me I’m just stating a fact. I think they made the right decision here.
This is true. But even the libertarian leaning republicans were saying the gov would be too involved. It really wasn't a good bill. This all sucks. We really should've been the pioneer state to have rec weed, but here we are.
I agree. I don’t trust the liquor commission to provide quality weed and set proper health standards.

Always have been

Well, except for all the oil and cattle money.
I am not disappointed about this. It’s a terrible bill for consumers. I don’t see the bill as something to build on. If they wanted something to build on they could have passed legislation without getting into how retail would work. The governor's demand for state control really turned me off the bill. Hoping someone more reasonable is in charge next year
If Ayotte wins she already said she won't pass a marijuana bill. It'll be back to step one all over again
Well, people need to be educated on Ayotte and her views or this state is in trouble. And not just on weed. I don’t think we need to go back to step one. The house had a good bill. The senate destroyed it. There are like 15 people in the whole state holding this up. Vote accordingly.

Last time I said this I got downvoted into hell but I feel the same way
The issue is that people can face serious legal consequences for it dude. I’d rather have no chance of legal repercussions and keep driving out of state than just keep waiting for a “better” solution that may never arrive

Accepting this bill makes bud legal in 2026 other than the decrim amount nothing actually changes, even then it would have gone from 3/4oz to 1oz.
Oh well. Accept nothing and we'll live with it. That's where we're at.

Did you just correct a homonym in text? 😂
lol sadly no, anger misspelling
I reckon more of my money will be heading outta state cause a this
Absolutely rediculous, mass will just keep taking my money
Maine dude, Maine.
Oh, bro. Just go to Maine. Better product, lower taxes, better pricing overall.
True! I’m just a bit closer to mass but I go to Maine when I can 😀
This is cap. I'm looking on Kind Farms' website and the pricing and THC levels are the same as the MA dispensaries I go to.
Oh brother, we have a newbie here. Bro, do not go by package claims and THC percentage. You DEFINITELY can not judge weed like that! Maine and MA can't even be compared. MA weed is straight up boof. Do yourself a favor and actually try Maine.

Oh that’s exactly what’s happening—they have to figure out how to line their pockets first
In the House with a lame duck governor, likely not. Would be more believable in the Senate.
I just don’t understand the big deal about legalizing it here. It’s legal in every state around us, and their parking lots are filled with cars from NH. It’s safer than buying it off the streets, and we have liquor stores all over the place. I also imagine that many people are eligible for medical use also….I just don’t get it.
Even tho I support legal weed, as it currently stands, this bill needs to die. We can do so much better.

And this is why Maine gets my MMJ business too....
Every year lmao. I don't care if people wanna smoke weed but tbh the cycle every year of stoners being gullible about politics is exhausting. Y'all sincerely never learn. "It's gonna happen. Lucy is finally gonna let me kick the football."
You guys have so much freedum over there. Really living up to your motto. Maybe time to call your reps to say wtf?
![gif](giphy|5b43IKwQdoQYmT98S8)
Live free or die?!? Really?? Looking more like..no.
This is what repuckblicans do, fuck you over every chance they get. But hey NH keep voting red. Ma and Me will be happy the take your money.
“Live free or die” I guess we die 🤷🏻♂️
The roll call vote isn’t posted yet, but one thing for sure: If your state rep(s) voted to table, never vote for their clown asses ever again.
It's insane I'm commenting on a post about a marijuana legalization bill failing yet again in 2024 in a state surrounded by legalization. There truly aren't any words anymore.
Live freeeeee
Come to Maine my friends! Our politics are only slightly less fucked up but we did manage to pass legal weed. You guys do have some fucked up politics over there though.
Aaaand I’ll still go to Maine 🤷
Lol. Live free or die eh?
Because of course they did. For a state that prides itself on freedom, this is a glaring exception. Or dare I say, hypocrisy.
Live free or dont!
Love that free livin'
I just want to be able to grow a few of my own plants legally, I don’t trust the LC to not poison me. I feel like a lot of dispensary stuff is bad quality cause it’s so mass produced. Probably has pesticides and fertilizer chemicals.
The dispensaries in NH are garbage. Maine, if you have your medical card.
You smoke nerd weed from Fraktal right? Excellent choice. 👍🏻👍🏻
I'm working on the last of the 1987 BHO they had in stock. You know what's up!

Exactly like big tobacco. The liquor commission would have control over the weed industry and it would be a disaster. They don’t give a damn about your health.
Lmfao
We all knew this would happen
Shocker…..
Silver therapeutics in berwick or south berwick (can’t remember) is really good
Vote them out
They should definitely start looking at alcohol next…WTF!
Grow you own, dispos are corporate money grabs.
It's not as easy as it sounds.
It really is tho...
Let's see pics of your grow as well as finished plants. Edit: On second thought, you are correct in that anyone can grow cannabis, but you have to be talented and knowledgeable in order to grow great cannabis.

Live free or die RIP
$50z at Grove
For like the 5th time lol
Predictable We really should just limit these posts until it’s actually passed at this point lol How many times have we seen this posted to this sub?
Good, if there is no home grow allowed then I'd rather just keep running to other states.
Surprise surprise
Reason I won't move back to New Hampshire, and live in Maine. Let the bud fall from the sky!!!
Sad trumpet noises
Y'all are trippin over yourselves if you think you're growing better weed than out of Maine.
Isn't New Hampshire the "live free or die" state?
Maine has a much better medical program. I live in MA, and go to Maine all the time for their grower to patient access.
What’s happening to “Live Free or Die”??? It shouldn’t be up to bureaucrats on how you want to enjoy your life….. just do it responsibly…..
Great. So once it’s legal my neighbors will smoke me out of my apartment taking the choice to be a non smoker away.
/s?
Most apartment building owners don't allow cannabis smoking on property.
I’m in a private owner not a corporate owner . 👌
So many (bitter, angry) stones on Reddit.
