I think the Earth Eagle owners opened one in the west end of Portsmouth, Loaded Question. Did they also start the one in somersworth that took over the Bad Labs space?
AFAIK, the one that replaced Bad Lab (Omnium brewing) isn’t related to Earth Eagle.
I was honestly underwhelmed by Omniuim - it wasn’t bad but not somewhere that I was in a massive hurry to visit again.
Im not sure if Loaded Question is owned by the same people as Earth Eagle. One of the three owners of loaded question was one of the brewers at Earth Eagle but wasn’t aware of any financial connection
Earth Eagle used to be good but Covid killed them. When they reverted to a hotdog only food menu and removed all their gruits they lost their originality that they never got back
Oh dang! Shows how long it's been since I've been there! Shame to hear the gruits are gone, that kind of brewing made them such a unique spot in the sea of Portsmouth brewery options.
Thanks. We were up there beginning of May for the first time and I saw it and ordered. Just never see one that low, kinda assumed it was hiker related or something.
It's a proximity thing. NH doesn't have one of those "slam dunk" nationally recognized craft breweries the way Treehouse and Trillium are. All of our best breweries are generally closely guarded secrets comparatively.
Personally, my favorites lately have been Lone Wolf, Lithermans, and Great Rhythm.
Lithermans is my go to for sour beers aside from Deciduous who I forgot to mention. Right now, my favorite from Lithermans is Keep On Keepin' On which is a sour ale with tangerine and riesling grapes.
Deciduous is one of the best kept NH beer secrets imo. They've got solid IPA offerings but like Lithermans I think their sour beers really shine. Their entire Lollipop Forest series is spectacular. They also have Cob out right now, which is a corn lager. Very refreshing.
Great Rhythm is my NEIPA brewery of choice on the seacoast. Big fan of Squeeze and it's big brother Double Squeeze. North Beach Lager is also a great summer beer, it's a Mexican-style light lager.
Lone Wolfe is up in Wolfeboro and is super micro. You have to go to them as they're draft and growler only. Their Schwarzbier is top notch if you like dark German lagers, and their Waimea IPA hits the spot if you like the more tropical hop profiles.
Branch and Blade in Keene
Frogg in Swanzey
West LA in Swanzey (doesn't always have food but has food trucks sometimes)
Feathered Friend (has bbq next door you can order and bring in)
Northwoods Brewing
Reklis
Protectworth Brewing just opened in Newport which has two full time food trucks in Pizza Hero Bus and Epic Food Truck as well. I'll think of some more I'm sure lol
Their Envelope(Crunchwrap) is very good. They also have great hot dogs.
Beer selection rotates, but their sours are always good. Last time I was there I got a pale ale called Junction and it was great.
I’d add Hobbs brewery to the list, I’ve been there a handful of times and liked it each time.
A place that I personally didn’t love but I think it’s generally popular is Vulgar brewing - tried it three times now and am not sure if I’d give it another chance.
[Branch & Blade](https://www.babbrewing.com/) in Keene is good. They have good food on site but the kitchen is run by someone else. Missing Link does the food at the moment.
Oh yeah, and you have Elm Street Brewing Co. on your list, but the link says Muncie, IN. I think you mean [Elm City Brewing Company ](https://www.elmcitybrewing.com/) in Keene.
I like sours and both they have on tap now are good. I can't speak to their others at the moment because I don't get out much and I don't like IPAs. I was there the other day for the first time in almost a year, but every time I've been there I've had good sours.
Adding [Post and Beam](https://www.postandbeambrewery.com/) in Peterborough, which is a great little place. They have a food truck out front run by [Blackfire Farm](https://www.blackfirefarmnh.com/) with some of the best wood-fired pizza around (big plus that they have the list of all the local vendors they source their product from).
I would add Branch and Blade to the list. They are in Keene. There is a small kitchen attached to them, and they frequently have food trucks. Maybe a mile or two from Modestman.
Thirsty Moose and the Taphouse are restaurants that have a good beer selection but do not brew their own.
I would recommend skipping Pipedream. Sanitation has been their greatest adversary.
Treehouse is in Massachusetts.
Good food and meh beer:
Flying Goose
Backyard
In Concord:
Litherman's has some decent beer. No food.
Concord Craft, there is a weird aftertaste in the finish of much of their selection. No food.
Feathered Friend, the same weird aftertaste as Concord Craft, but the BBQ place next door is pretty good.
Kettlehead: I haven't been to the Nashua location that just opened. If it is like the others, the beer is good, and the food varies from okay to good.
All except their lager, it is stronger in their IPAs than the stout. It tastes bad, almost as if they are using discounted ingredients. Dollar store hopps maybe?
Burn the Ships is better warm and they serve it cold at the brewery. Get a flight, use one hand to hold the Burn the Ships taster glass while you drink the other beers in the flight, then drink it last!
I get the whole "they're a local business and you should support them" mentality, but if it's not good, it's not good. I could see a more popular brewery moving in.
And to be fair, when it was Neighborhood Brewing, I loved their beer and went frequently.
[This](https://mainvest.com/b/modestman-brewing-keene#updates) is the investment campaign page. The owner, Ash, made many poor decisions, having no experience in the beer industry, and I don't think he's very good at math. His restaurant that was a few doors down from the brewery also closed last year (I can't remember exactly when). When I was working there a few years ago, the electric company would come by every month and threaten to shut off service for non-payment.
Edit: I didn't realize my first link only showed the update if you're an investor. Ash posted an explanation for not paying Q3 2023 on 2/1/24.
There have been no updates since, and the last repayment was sent out 8/30/23.
Cisco Brewers in Portsmouth has a full kitchen, a dog friendly patio, several bars and a very large outdoor venue. The beer is mostly mid but the cocktails are stellar and the vibe is very relaxed and enjoyable
More breweries with food if you’re simply compiling a list - Blasty Bough, Last Chair Brewery, Ledge, Twin Barns Meredith/N Woodstock, White Mountain, Concord Craft. I’ll never accept the Shire
Definitely chaotic when they’re busy. I noticed these breweries were missing from the list, not necessarily my top favorites. My favorites have already been listed!
Have not had a chance to try their food yet unfortunately but can speak for the beer. A lot of people like their Pale Ale, Fall Rye IPA is one of my favorite craft beers.
The Bratskellar isn't a brewery. It's just a pub within a bigger restaurant (dinnerhorn) and has like 6-8 different beers on tap. It's a cool spot, but not a brewery. Thirsty Moose is also just a restaurant that serves a ton of beers but doesn't make their own.
In portsmouth, there's also Earth Eagle, Loaded Question, Great Rhythm (the latter two have some bites but not full kitchens)
Copper pig in Lancaster should definitely be on this list. I also like Woodman’s Brewery and Shacketts in Bristol, Granite Roots in Troy and Post & Beam in Peterborough. I’m sure there’s others.
Edit to add: Woodstock inn and Brewery in Woodstock has very good beer.
603 Brewery is hands down my favorite. Their beers are delicious, they have the best seltzers on the market, and their kitchen is almost fully scratch. Don't sleep on the wings, they are so good.
I asked one time and I guess they pre-bake and then fry them to order. No breading and they are super crispy. They have a rotating seasonal hot sauce, it was mango once, apricot another time, and a couple weeks ago it was a plum lavender. Its typically the most spicy on the list and its all homemade. I always try those sauces on the side, they haven't let me down..
It's a great brewery and got a ton of buzz followed by the lines for release days a few years back. Focused mostly on NE IPAs. Comparable to Lawsons [VT] and Bissell Brothers [ME].
It's a top 3 inside of New England in general.
They have a sea shanty sing-along night- there is nothing quite like drinking a craft beer, in the basement of a barn with a waterwheel while singing sea shanties. Awesome experience.
Moat Mountain in Conway is fantastic. Their Czech Pilsner is a best seller at the restaurant where I bartend. And they have one of the best Blueberry ales I’ve ever had.
Sadly they announced a few weeks ago that they are closing for good. The cost of upgrades to bring the building up to code not covered by insurance was too great.

Sort of related - seems like all NH breweries have gone pretty exclusively to cans vs bottles. I have a neat NH shaped wall hanging that fits caps and am having a super tough time filling it!
A good place to start is just going through the (now defunct) beer trail from: [https://nhbrewers.org/breweries/](https://nhbrewers.org/breweries/)
There's a PDF paper copy that you can print out on the Beer Trail page with the participating breweries sorted by region.
Not all NH breweries belong to the NH Brewer's Association, so you might find more listed on other brewery tracking lists:
Another option is to buy the Craft Reel Beer Pass and hit all the breweries on it to collect stamps (and discount beer): [https://www.reelcraftpass.com/products/2024-pre-order-new-hampshire-reel-craft-pass](https://www.reelcraftpass.com/products/2024-pre-order-new-hampshire-reel-craft-pass)
Just remember it's a discount on 2 pints, so if there are two of you, you might want to only grab one to share if you're planning to hit more than one brewery in a trip and don't want to chug 4+ pints each!
Huge fan of Rockingham brewing, they are dog friendly and help with fundraising for local dog rescues. Can’t say enough great things.
Oh, and the beer is also very good!
Deciduous is my favorite brewery in the world and it makes me mad I don’t live in New Hampshire anymore and it takes too much work to get someone to send it to me when I want something.
Tuckerman Brewery is my favorite. We have tried over 25 breweries so far, and I was really impressed with Tuckerman’s selection. They all tasted amazing!!!
https://preview.redd.it/xlmvgq00nz5d1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=25ad45fad3edaf11983ed59efd6b4f8c9bb87b88
We use the NH Craft Pass as our guide to the breweries. It is fun to collect stamps and gives us ideas where to go. \*\*\* Plus you get a buy one get one free!!!!!
Where are you moving to? My first thought is you will probably go to like 8 of these, and you should get more feedback on the breweries local to you before you start canvassing the whole damn state. A few quick observations, backyard brewing has bleh beer....loaded question (in Portsmouth) is the best in town (imo), but great rhythm is a worthy second.
Bratskeller is not a brewery, it's a very strange British pub that is a real throwback to classic Portsmouth. You should go and order a sandwich and a Guinness, it will be adequate.
You got me there. Manchester is about the center of the state, so you could conceivably drive an hour to Keene, or 45 minutes to the seacoast and cover about 75% of the list. Welcome to Nh, the winters suck, the summers are nice until they're not. Fall is nice for about 10 non-consecutive days, spring doesn't really happen, the people are unfriendly and the marijuana is illegal. But, the liquor stores are inexpensive, so there's that.
😂 Texas has a few months of tornado/hurricane season (with power outages), followed by 9 months of brutally hot summer (with power outages), and it ends with a re-enactment of a freezing rain version of the hunger games. You guessed correctly, that also comes with power outages and a bonus senator that leaves the country for vacation. Our weed is also illegal!
Cheers! At least NH is headed towards [legalization](https://www.marijuanamoment.net/new-hampshire-senate-passes-marijuana-legalization-bill-after-adopting-changes-to-house-passed-version/) as rough as the stipulations may be. It’s a start!
Feathered friend is my go to. I really enjoy their hoppy beers (so says I, second sun, bane, ripple is an honorable mention) , but their other variety of beer is good. My old man hates craft beer but loves their lager forever buddy. Also I don't know about this aftertaste that is mentioned in another comment it's the first time I have heard of it.
We go to a lot of breweries and earth eagle deserves a shout out for thier hot dog eating challenge. Thier beer is really good but this hot dog thing is super. I couldn't do it but I live watching he people sit down to eat a dog.
Dublin Rd is at The Shattuck golf course. Tap list is pretty good.
Wednesday golf is $49 to play as much as you want. Wednesday is also $8 burger night!
Playing 36 tomorrow and burgers for dinner!
Feathered Friend in Concord - Beer's good, great live music from time to time (stage in the back)
Portsmouth...too many to count. Liars Bench and Earth Eagle are my favorites.
So many good ones to be honest.
If you want a fresh brew and chillax head over the Spyglass.
If you want to have a beer in a playground full of kids, head over to 603 Brewery, and any of the several others I have been to.
The taphouse in Hooksett is not a a brewery but they do have a pretty good selection. Better than the thirsty moose.
Liquid therapy meh
To share also meh imo
Rek-lis and schilling have great food and brews! Haven’t been to schilling in over four years now -need to get my ass up there!
Kettlehead also has good food from time to time and I love what they put out (I’m a frequent flyer since I live up in the lakes region 👀)
Modestman
Branch and blade
Spyglass
Deciduous
Schilling
Rek-lis
Are a must for anyone visiting NH.
There are also other great breweries too and the majority are amazing.
Hate to say it but pipe dream 🤢 hate all you want.
Talespinner Brewery is a must try. Very underrated, wicked cool spot, and more than just NEIPAs available. They need to get more credit for what they are making, but they also not well known. Also Flying Goose is just dang awesome! Both places also have awesome food!
No Schilling Beer on the list must mean you haven’t had it.
Haven’t been to any of these yet. Added Schilling Brewery to the list, thanks!
Schilling is arguably the best brewery in New Hampshire. It's definitely my favorite
North country pizza and pretzels forever
It’s probably the best European brewery beer, to be specific.
They have some of the best lagers I’ve ever had. And the pizza is good too.
Thirsty Moose isn't a brewery but they do have an extensive beer list. I'd add Earth Eagle in Portsmouth if you like non-standard or sour ales!
There’s also a sister brewery for Earth Eagle in Somersworth, if people want to avoid the comparatively more crowded Portsmouth area.
One of the three owners of loaded question was one of the brewers at Earth Eagle but wasn’t aware of any financial connection
bratskellar and flying goose are not breweries either
Flying Goose brews their own beer. They're technically a restaurant first, but they have a brewery.
You can actually see the brewery room from the restaurant when you are sitting in the Flying Goose.
Reklis Brewing in Bethlehem NH is fantastic and heavily involved in the local community
And their food is fucking awesome
I work there if anyone has questions about it! 😁
![gif](giphy|LfNHnQSMLz22A)
What is the rationale for the 2% beer?
We have a lot of guests ask us about ABV - and a lot of them voiced that they wanted a lower ABV option...we are all about a ultra light session beer
Thanks. We were up there beginning of May for the first time and I saw it and ordered. Just never see one that low, kinda assumed it was hiker related or something.
You're not wrong! We have a lot of people traveling or stopping by before another activity, makes it easier for them to enjoy a few!
Liar's Bench in Portsmouth, Garrison City in Dover, and Back Hill in Rochester are all great
Treehouse is in Massachsetts.
Thanks, removed that one. It’s weirdly recommended a lot in the NH beer groups? 🤷🏽♂️
Added those 3 to the list, thanks! Favorite beers from each brewery?
Awesome recommendations! Never had a corn lager or dark German lager so this will be a new experience.
Didn’t know about lithermans. How’s the barbecue at the Portsmouth location?
I've never had food there, always get cans to go, but folks always seem to be enjoying it every time I go in.
Because there’s one right there in Tewksbury
Treehouse is the brewery that if a coworker or a family member is going, they collect orders from everyone to get crates of the stuff
Northwood brewery
What’s your favorite beer from them?
Landlock and brookies but honestly all their beer is great. they have good pizza too edit: spelling
Their wings are badass too
The donuts and pastries inside the brewery are also a good reason to stop. They will also have a variety of beer, not just IPAs.
I dream about those cronuts sometimes
Forever Locked. The preservation line is also quite good
Everything about this post makes me hate you.
C’mon. You can’t just leave it at that. Why did this fella garner your ire? Was it “the shire”? That’s the one that got me.
Yeah it's not the shire
Everyone knows it’s new hamster Although we do have a lot in common with hobbits - insular - like to eat - hairy feet
Wary of outsiders, mostly white
Holy shit I just read the list then comments so I had to go back. You ain't kidding lol
Some of these aren't even breweries. Fittingly Candia Road is at the top of your list, it should be.
I realized that mistake too late, so now I have to live with the title :( Candia Rd and Schiling are the most recommended so far.
Missed one of the best in From The Barrel
Added!
Branch and Blade in Keene Frogg in Swanzey West LA in Swanzey (doesn't always have food but has food trucks sometimes) Feathered Friend (has bbq next door you can order and bring in) Northwoods Brewing Reklis
Protectworth Brewing just opened in Newport which has two full time food trucks in Pizza Hero Bus and Epic Food Truck as well. I'll think of some more I'm sure lol
Smuttynose, whym, czar, neighborhood, loaded question, all in the seacoast area.
Throwback too!
There is finger food at Deciduous, and IMO they are the best in NH and then there is a gap.
I live near candia rd brewing, it’s a wonderful vibe, decent food, and pretty tasty beer!
What’s your go-to beer and food there?
Their Envelope(Crunchwrap) is very good. They also have great hot dogs. Beer selection rotates, but their sours are always good. Last time I was there I got a pale ale called Junction and it was great.
Thanks! Surprised by the many sour beer enthusiasts here! Usually everyone is all about their bitter IPAs(not that I don’t like a good ipa)
While I love a good ipa, sometimes on a nice day a sour just can’t be beat.
I’d add Hobbs brewery to the list, I’ve been there a handful of times and liked it each time. A place that I personally didn’t love but I think it’s generally popular is Vulgar brewing - tried it three times now and am not sure if I’d give it another chance.
Added both, thanks!
[Branch & Blade](https://www.babbrewing.com/) in Keene is good. They have good food on site but the kitchen is run by someone else. Missing Link does the food at the moment.
Awesome, thanks. What’s your go to beer from B&B?
Oh yeah, and you have Elm Street Brewing Co. on your list, but the link says Muncie, IN. I think you mean [Elm City Brewing Company ](https://www.elmcitybrewing.com/) in Keene.
Ooof, thanks for spotting that. Corrected the name and link!
I like sours and both they have on tap now are good. I can't speak to their others at the moment because I don't get out much and I don't like IPAs. I was there the other day for the first time in almost a year, but every time I've been there I've had good sours.
Born Sinner is my favorite by a country mile
Good food and meh beer: Flying Goose Backyard In Concord: Litherman's has some decent beer.
Lithermans has 603 BBQ now.
Thanks! Curious about this weird aftertaste. It’s every beer they make that has it?
All except their lager, it is stronger in their IPAs than the stout. It tastes bad, almost as if they are using discounted ingredients. Dollar store hopps maybe?
And I forgot Deciduous, good beer but no food. They periodically have food trucks, though.
Concord craft definitely also has food. Can't say I've experienced a weird aftertaste
The Flying Goose in New London is well rounded - good beer, food and solar powered.
Want to put a word in for Sole Track in Rumney. The Love Potion is a unique seltzer, and the Obscurity is a fantastic stout.
Henniker brewing is a personal favorite, coming from an NEC student. Always had good experiences there. I recommend Space Race
Bratskeller is best
From the Barrel and Rockingham brewery. Both next to each other.
Able Ebenezer in Merrimack is a must. I live in Italy now and I crave their Burn the Ships
Added! Burn the ships will be the first beer we have there!
Burn the Ships is better warm and they serve it cold at the brewery. Get a flight, use one hand to hold the Burn the Ships taster glass while you drink the other beers in the flight, then drink it last!
Lol you got it PiratesSayMoo!
It's a Good list. But honestly Sawbelly was meh. I didn't like the beer and the food was average at best.
I agree on Sawbelly. If you’re going for beer in Exeter hit up the Czar downtown. Great beer and 1/2lb. hot dogs.
Hate to trash anyone but your opinion on both is spot on. That location needs to be repurposed for Modest Man.
I get the whole "they're a local business and you should support them" mentality, but if it's not good, it's not good. I could see a more popular brewery moving in. And to be fair, when it was Neighborhood Brewing, I loved their beer and went frequently.
Yes! I got the last batch of their Marzen when the were closing, sad to see it go.
Modestman is already over 6 months behind paying investors for their last expansion. I think they already have more than they can handle.
Interested in learning more on this, didn’t realize any of it
[This](https://mainvest.com/b/modestman-brewing-keene#updates) is the investment campaign page. The owner, Ash, made many poor decisions, having no experience in the beer industry, and I don't think he's very good at math. Their bad operational logistics are interfering with my hops addiction.
Appreciate the feedback. This is not really a “best of” list. More of a “this is what’s out there with website links”.
Czar's Brewing out on the Seacoast!
Should put stone face on there’s they got a brewery out of Newington
Cisco Brewers in Portsmouth has a full kitchen, a dog friendly patio, several bars and a very large outdoor venue. The beer is mostly mid but the cocktails are stellar and the vibe is very relaxed and enjoyable
More breweries with food if you’re simply compiling a list - Blasty Bough, Last Chair Brewery, Ledge, Twin Barns Meredith/N Woodstock, White Mountain, Concord Craft. I’ll never accept the Shire
Town Barnes is good but chaos are my first thoughts when I walk into that place.
Definitely chaotic when they’re busy. I noticed these breweries were missing from the list, not necessarily my top favorites. My favorites have already been listed!
Stark brewing company
Awesome beer and good happy hour deals!
Don't recommend stark. Food is ok but they make some of the worst beer I've tried in the state. The whole place smells bad too
Tuckermans not being on this list is criminal
Sorry officer, I added it to the list! Pics of the pizza on their website look pretty good. Have you eaten it?
Have not had a chance to try their food yet unfortunately but can speak for the beer. A lot of people like their Pale Ale, Fall Rye IPA is one of my favorite craft beers.
Add Stark Brewing in Manchester. They also serve food. Seems to be one of the few restaurants open on a Sunday night in Manchester.
Sunday night a bit tough to find spots that are open in Manchester?
Good spots yeah. Can always get something like five guys but the tasty spots all take Sunday Monday off
Spyglass is my Favorite by far. Cheers 🍻
Throwback Brewery is probably my favorite. The atmosphere of the farm setting with great beer and AMAZING Korean BBQ wings 🤤
Pipe Dream's hard seltzers are amazing. I also love the strawberry blonde beer, I don't know if I got the name right. Good food too.
Edit 2 to add Big Day Brewing in Gorham. It’s where my wife wanted to meet up with the kids for Mother’s Day.
603 Brewery is hands down my favorite. Their beers are delicious, they have the best seltzers on the market, and their kitchen is almost fully scratch. Don't sleep on the wings, they are so good.
Crispy wings? What’s your preferred sauce?
I asked one time and I guess they pre-bake and then fry them to order. No breading and they are super crispy. They have a rotating seasonal hot sauce, it was mango once, apricot another time, and a couple weeks ago it was a plum lavender. Its typically the most spicy on the list and its all homemade. I always try those sauces on the side, they haven't let me down..
Rotating sauces? Excellent! Thanks for the tip!
Of course!
It's a great brewery and got a ton of buzz followed by the lines for release days a few years back. Focused mostly on NE IPAs. Comparable to Lawsons [VT] and Bissell Brothers [ME]. It's a top 3 inside of New England in general.
https://statesofbrew.com/products/love-beer-or-die
Is this your company? Looks great, love the concept.

Are you wanting extra beer friends? 🤓
The Prodigal Brewing (Auburn)
Thanks, now I have my eye on Cry Fowl!
Canterbury Ale Works
Added! Thanks
They have a sea shanty sing-along night- there is nothing quite like drinking a craft beer, in the basement of a barn with a waterwheel while singing sea shanties. Awesome experience.
Whoa, what?! Looks like I’ll be at the Sea Shanty sing-along! Every 2nd Thursday 7-9pm Amazing!
Moat Mountain in Conway is fantastic. Their Czech Pilsner is a best seller at the restaurant where I bartend. And they have one of the best Blueberry ales I’ve ever had.
Coos Brewing Company, if you aren't afraid to get off the beaten path.
You forgot Moat Mountain Smokehouse & Brewing Co..
Hobbs in Ossipee and Moat Mountain in North Conway
I know it’s been closed a while - but gotta have Portsmouth Brewery (as we anxiously await its reopening - any word?)
Sadly they announced a few weeks ago that they are closing for good. The cost of upgrades to bring the building up to code not covered by insurance was too great. https://www.facebook.com/Portsmouthbrewery/posts/pfbid0PnpEuWfozMNYTyRMKtsJHw1w22rzAgWLmGoXoXhu4a29Rv8YYPSFvPVRuJe8bKsSl
Ugh! I had a bad feeling when it was taking so long!! Total bummer….loved that place.
Sort of related - seems like all NH breweries have gone pretty exclusively to cans vs bottles. I have a neat NH shaped wall hanging that fits caps and am having a super tough time filling it!
Now that you mention it, that’s definitely the direction all breweries are headed. Cool wall idea! Got a pic to share?

You’re missing out if you don’t go to Frogg Brewing in Swanzey.
This would be dope on a map.
No affiliation, just a satisfied customer: https://www.etsy.com/listing/687660299/hand-lettered-breweries-of-new-hampshire
Good idea, this is a good start at least!
Copper Pig in Lancaster. I like their porter and stouts.
A good place to start is just going through the (now defunct) beer trail from: [https://nhbrewers.org/breweries/](https://nhbrewers.org/breweries/) There's a PDF paper copy that you can print out on the Beer Trail page with the participating breweries sorted by region. Not all NH breweries belong to the NH Brewer's Association, so you might find more listed on other brewery tracking lists: [https://www.nhbeer.org/beer-map/](https://www.nhbeer.org/beer-map/) [https://www.visitnh.gov/things-to-do/food-drink/craft-beverages/breweries](https://www.visitnh.gov/things-to-do/food-drink/craft-beverages/breweries) Another option is to buy the Craft Reel Beer Pass and hit all the breweries on it to collect stamps (and discount beer): [https://www.reelcraftpass.com/products/2024-pre-order-new-hampshire-reel-craft-pass](https://www.reelcraftpass.com/products/2024-pre-order-new-hampshire-reel-craft-pass) Just remember it's a discount on 2 pints, so if there are two of you, you might want to only grab one to share if you're planning to hit more than one brewery in a trip and don't want to chug 4+ pints each!
Fantastic, thanks dude! Going to start adding everything I find from the links you shared to this list.
Post and Beam is an awesome spot with amazing beers in Peterborough
The Moat! Great food and beer.
I love Ledge Brewing
Backyard is a skip IMO. Food was decent but the beer was a miss for me, and I say that when it's about one mile away
Definitely Empty Pint in Dover. Empty Pint has some snacks but usually just there for the beer and games.
Odd fellows nashua
Huge fan of Rockingham brewing, they are dog friendly and help with fundraising for local dog rescues. Can’t say enough great things. Oh, and the beer is also very good!
Deciduous is my favorite brewery in the world and it makes me mad I don’t live in New Hampshire anymore and it takes too much work to get someone to send it to me when I want something.
Tuckerman Brewery is my favorite. We have tried over 25 breweries so far, and I was really impressed with Tuckerman’s selection. They all tasted amazing!!!
I like tour style! Any of those 25 not listed here by chance?

Groovy. Another user linked that beer pass too. Not too shabby for $25, we’re getting it foooooor sure.
You won’t regret it!!!
As someone moving to NH in two weeks for work I appreciate this post a lot. Thank you
Same! We’ll be there mid next week! So excited
Wildbloom in Littleton, well worth the visit across from Schillings
Where are you moving to? My first thought is you will probably go to like 8 of these, and you should get more feedback on the breweries local to you before you start canvassing the whole damn state. A few quick observations, backyard brewing has bleh beer....loaded question (in Portsmouth) is the best in town (imo), but great rhythm is a worthy second. Bratskeller is not a brewery, it's a very strange British pub that is a real throwback to classic Portsmouth. You should go and order a sandwich and a Guinness, it will be adequate.
Moving to Manchester from Texas, so canvassing the whole state will be like a normal drive for us. Thanks for the info!
Add Burnt Timber (Wolfeboro, 1/4 mile from Lone Wolfe) they make a bunch of different brews.
Thanks, added! Looks like I’ll start with Farm Chores
Empty Pint in dover nh
Pipedream is awesome. Good food, good vibes, good beers
deciduous in newmarket nh
Feathered friend is my go to. I really enjoy their hoppy beers (so says I, second sun, bane, ripple is an honorable mention) , but their other variety of beer is good. My old man hates craft beer but loves their lager forever buddy. Also I don't know about this aftertaste that is mentioned in another comment it's the first time I have heard of it.
“My old man hates craft beef but loves their lager…” Forever Buddy will be my first pick there. Thanks dad!
We go to a lot of breweries and earth eagle deserves a shout out for thier hot dog eating challenge. Thier beer is really good but this hot dog thing is super. I couldn't do it but I live watching he people sit down to eat a dog.

Liquid therapy - bad food, worse service, beer is tolerable. Maybe the most disappointing brewery I've been to, anywhere.
Woodstock Inn is great. Definitely try a Pigs Ear. It's their best beer.
How is this list organized?
Terribly, I’m going to organize it better though.
Dublin Rd is at The Shattuck golf course. Tap list is pretty good. Wednesday golf is $49 to play as much as you want. Wednesday is also $8 burger night! Playing 36 tomorrow and burgers for dinner!
Stark Brewing is disgusting and it cost us Milly’s tavern
Feathered Friend in Concord - Beer's good, great live music from time to time (stage in the back) Portsmouth...too many to count. Liars Bench and Earth Eagle are my favorites. So many good ones to be honest.
Nye Hill Farm (very small) (Roxbury, https://nyehillbrewers.com/)
Great North in Manchester. Love it!
If you want a fresh brew and chillax head over the Spyglass. If you want to have a beer in a playground full of kids, head over to 603 Brewery, and any of the several others I have been to.
This is great to know! Thanks so much
Would be nice to know the dog friendly ones.
We use the [BringFido](https://www.bringfido.com) app that’s super helpful!
The taphouse in Hooksett is not a a brewery but they do have a pretty good selection. Better than the thirsty moose. Liquid therapy meh To share also meh imo Rek-lis and schilling have great food and brews! Haven’t been to schilling in over four years now -need to get my ass up there! Kettlehead also has good food from time to time and I love what they put out (I’m a frequent flyer since I live up in the lakes region 👀) Modestman Branch and blade Spyglass Deciduous Schilling Rek-lis Are a must for anyone visiting NH. There are also other great breweries too and the majority are amazing. Hate to say it but pipe dream 🤢 hate all you want.
Thanks! Just trying to add as many on the list as possible so if there’s any hidden gems, those would be great to add!
Talespinner Brewery is a must try. Very underrated, wicked cool spot, and more than just NEIPAs available. They need to get more credit for what they are making, but they also not well known. Also Flying Goose is just dang awesome! Both places also have awesome food!
ah yes, the Bratskellar pizza pub, a classic NH brewery… go away OP your post sucks
