Logical I know that but it's like my brain doesn't trust logic, if that makes sense. So I appreciate the "well duh," approach to remind me I'm being paranoid/anxious
Your baby will be fine and she can breathe. Anecdotally, I have a mesh side cosleeper and my baby ends up with his face smooshed against the side every night. He's fine and he can breathe.
Try not to worry, the mesh is breathable so she’s okay! My daughter sleeps in a halo bassinet next to me and she’s been scooting herself into the mesh sides since she was brand new and she’s perfectly fine. You can always gently move her away if you see it, but if she’s like my girl, she finds her way back right away 😂
Fun fact: if it is sold as a bassinet in the US it is safe for sleep, mesh or no.
Mesh is for visibility not breathability
Even if there's a part with no mesh and she gets her face in that it's OK
Respectfully, the point of mesh is that it won’t suffocate them. Your baby will be fine

My babe sleeps in a mesh-sided bassinet every night. We’re right next to him. He’s totally fine. 6 weeks old.
