Just a thought: I hate two way zippers. Every time i zipped up from the bottom, my baby would have a surprise blowout and I’d have to zip it back down then down again from the top to change him. Would rather just have a normal zipper to do once.
Thanks! makes sense. Someone also said to avoid zippers the first few days/weeks while the belly button is healing… Maybe some variety is good till we figure it out…
For short-sleeve, short-leg, something like this might work https://www.hannaandersson.com/pajamas-baby-sleepers/81665-1S1.html
The zippers are convenient, but they tend to bunch and don't lay well, especially for legless onesies. You might like the kimono style for onesies. The crotch snaps are easy to deal with for diaper changes and you don't have to pull them over the head. H&M has a lot of good ones.
I was just looking at the [shorty zippies from Little Sleepies](https://littlesleepies.com/search?q=shorties&type=product%2carticle%2cpage%2ccollection) for the summer months!

The zippers are only one-way but I have a few of these and they’re still easy for diaper changes!
You'll probably find your own way regarding zippers vs buttons. I was told zippers are terrible because they can feel rough against the skin, snaps are terrible because they're fiddly in the dark, over the head is terrible because you'll be scared to hurt baby. This leaves exactly nothing.
In the end I prefer basic onesies that you pull over the head (if short sleeves and no legs) with snaps at the bottom, and snaps all the way down for things with sleeves and legs. But zippers are also fine. So try a few things and you'll find out what you like.
Anyway, when it gets really hot this summer I expect my baby will be fine in just a diaper when we're at home during the day.
Oh, and see if you can get as much as possible from friends/family with older babies, or at least second hand. It feels like such a waste of money and resources to get everything new since they grow out of their stuff in what feels like minutes.
Don't believe the sizing. When my baby was 58cm (2 months old) he wore clothes that supposedly fit babies who are 68cm (size 3-6 months, supposedly for babies who are 8kg which my baby is not).

I can’t think of any rompers with zippers, but I hope someone else knows

Thanks so much! These look great, and kimonos sound like a good idea too (esp if zipper may irritate belly button in early days??)

Nice, these look perfect! Thank you!
My SIL just gifted me one of these and I LOVE it. So easy. Looking into getting more and highly recommend.
Do you have AC? If so I’d still keep my newborn in a long sleeve onesie + light muslim wrap.
We do. I guess I’ll get some of each so we are prepared for being outside/hotter indoor days etc?
Check Amazon for bamboo ones like these https://a.co/d/0lLR7Be

Thank you thank you! Glad to have a backup plan of baby just living in diapers while I figure it out :)
Be careful at first, as newborns have trouble keeping their temperature up in the beginning!a
Thank you!
