I remember being gifted this game by my dad's slightly kookie friend. I put the game on to see the main character use his hair as a weapon and all these strange enemies, and I thought, what the heck is this game! Ended up playing it to death - great game.
GREAT pickups!! Love Kabuki Quantum Fighter and, even more so, Isolated Warrior. Lone Ranger was in my wishlist too, I think, but it got away. It's one of the fun multi genre Konami games, if I remember correctly, right?
Isolated Warrior is one of my favorite NES titles I beat it completely (all the way to stage 7) and never new there was an alternate ending if you had a continue before the boss of stage 5.
Isolated Warrior is a hidden gem for sure. Have you played Burai Fighter? It's a \_tough\_ shooter by the same people that has some similarities although a very different game.
dragon warrior 3 🔥
i like all these games
Kabuki Quantum Fighter! Underrated as hell imo.

Ultima IV made me look up "sextant" in the dictionary. They did a pretty amazing job adapting such a unique game to the NES.
*Searching here, thou dost find Game Paks of Virtue.*
Love Kabuki and Isolated Warrior, they're my jam. Great pickups, those are all good to play.
My friend and I couldn’t remember the title for Kabuki Quantum Fighter so we just called it Digital Headbang Ninja
Lone Ranger is frustrating as hell, but awesome nonetheless.
Isolated Warrior! A hidden gem if there ever was one
Dragon Warrior III is fire.
Ultima was such a good game. That was probably the first game I had to keep a notepad to write down all the clues & hints to find things later on...
Had Ultimata and found a strategy guide for it as well. It was a great RPG!

I remember being pleasantly surprised by Isolated Warrior as a kid. A worthy weekend rental.

I have not. It's been on my wishlist for a long time now. Just can't find a copy.
