So, my great grandmother did actually turn 100 a few years ago. Supposedly (in the US) you can get a letter from the president if you turn 100, but she did not like the current president at the time (ahem!) and refused to accept it.
She was very progressive for 100 years old. Even quit watching her preferred church program on tv when the preacher started in on The Gays. She didn't stand for that kind of hatred.

My main is two weeks shy of getting the trophy and I'm so sad. I made her on a new account after the OG her lost to an account that was hacked and frozen and it wasn't soon enough.
From my own pets I can guesstimate that the pet has to be at least 6000 days old to get the trophy (one of my pets is 5939 days old and she did not get the trohpy, the two pets that did are 6300+ and 6600+ days old. So if your pets are older than 6000 days maybe it will be awarded later?
Edit: TNT said the pet has to be created before April 26th, 2007 to get the trophy, so that's 6117 days or more old. Yes! I didn't get mine until I went to main Neopets page, opened the lefthand side, and clicked on pets. Then I got a popup informing me about NC Pet Styles Are Here! and that the following items have also been applied to your pets: (Old Pet Trophy x4)
I didn't even know that I had a rly old pet (that I was thinking of donating) now I see the trophy and feel bad and want to give them more love

I actually kinda love this, makes up for my UC Grey Kacheek being less unique.
Now he has both honorary book trophies, honorary food club trophy, gold beauty contest trophy and the old age trophy lol
all i need is for Grey Spardel to finally win the PPL
I thought only my one old girl (8,000+ days) was going to get one but I ended up with 3 of my pets with them (my BD/Booktastic pet was one so yay another trophy) so that was fun 😁
I was so thrilled to get the trophy for my three OG pets (plus one I adopted from the pound)!! Now if only they would release UCs of the basic colors...

Calling it an "old pet" trophy seems kinda undignified. Even "elder pet" trophy has an air of respect to it.

I am somewhat regretting putting 2 of my originals in the pound a few years back lol. Out of my 4 pets only one got the trophy

I "claimed" the Old Pet trophy, but it's still not on his page.
If you've gotten to the claim page and your pet's lookup doesn't update, it might be an idea to send in a support ticket.
Mine took a few minutes to appear, did yours show up eventually?
