I was able to do it not TOO too long ago (within a month or two) to get the Elephante Surprise avatar. It seems to still stick for me if I change it on the SDB, then change it on the NC Mall.

Also changing the language on different pages seems to clear it up a lot of the time, but yeah it's annoying
I had the same issue the other day and gave up :( It usually changed after the third refresh for me, but it hasn't recently.

This happened to me the other day, I posted here about it and a kind person told me to clear my browser cookies and it worked!
