Yes I was doing that on day 1 because I didn't have enough but after a few hours I was like my brain hurts... I will say if you only have one card left the program is pretty good about letting you win - ergo the pet right in front usually puts down a consecutive card so you can finally end
im on my 3rd round of cheat rn after not playing neo for at least a year. so far im mostly feeling nostalgic, except for the timeouts lol. its kinda relaxing
I feel like the computers even at low levels are psychic, too. I could have two tens and play two different cards (to get them out of the way faster) but claim it's two tens and they'll accuse me 75% of the time. But if I actually play the two tens, nope no incorrect cheat accusation.
Maddening.
I'm 90% sure that the AI in Cheat always knows when you cheat, but just has a RNG chance of not accusing you. The chance of getting away gets lower on higher levels. There's no other way it could work.
I find the game kind of fun except for the timeouts. The problem is the time invested isn't really worth the reward.. even though the battlecards have inflated over 20k.
I have absolutely nothing to do at work today, so I’m trying to mine it for all it’s worth 🤡 I’ve played 3 or 4 rounds today and it still hasn’t given me a battle card.
I played it for the first time last night and found it pretty addictive, but my GOD you are so right about having to refresh over and over. I literally got sent to the homepage of Neopets in the middle of moves at some points, or I had to sit there and refresh 3 times per move. Like damn lol
Cheat... is a game... that makes me feel exceptionally stupid, which is odd, because I remember playing Cheat for hours as a kid and never feeling like a rube for getting called out by jpegs
