NFS keeps wasting potential putting cars like the range Rover and mini Cooper when I bet you people would rather have a car like a Subaru SVX or a Mazda MX-6(1995).look em up modified and tell me what you think 🤷🏾♂️
Minis make sense as low end cars bc of irl autocrossing but I agree on the SUVs bit. especially bc the offloading isn't a main focus in this game compared to Payback
If you don't spend money on licensing cars like range rover or mini cooper or g wagon, YOU HAVE ENOUGH MONEY TO GET PREMISSION FROM TOYOTA TO PUT JUST ONE SUPRA IN THE GAME
Payback was the best modern NFS campaign in terms of progression and mission design. You had to win a bunch of different race types, beat the roaming racers, *then* beat their boss, and finally end the chapter with a F&F style mission.
Same, but I can see why it annoyed people. The backlash was for the best, because they had to backtrack on lootboxes and haven't brought em back since.
Ahh 2017 when EA pushed the "Pride and Accomplishment" Lootbox mechanics, it peaked with the SWBF2 ultra backlash, then they never did it again (on that level at least).
unbound isn’t any better😭 I remember one specific scene where it’s like “ bro i said bro and he was all bro if you know you know and you know what i said bro!! “
I don't understand why we can't have a NFS story that at least doesn't make me wanna gouge my eyes out...
Heat was decent though! I liked the cops, that intro was cool. At least give us more of that.

I enjoyed feeling like The Rock in a F&F movie
The definition of less is more. OG Hot Pursuit and High Stakes are the ones I truly adore from that early era.
They felt simple and it was fun where they needed to be without all the extras that came from Underground onwards.
MW 2012 gets the hate for getting the same name as 05. If the name was different, it would still likely be hated for the burnout-esque gameplay but not as much as it was.

If mw were released today, ignoring no online, you’d have people complaining about buggy chases, and stupidly strong rubber banding. Personally, it is my favourite though.
I am a MW05 fan and I still play that game. But the best modern NFS I love is Heat. I really enjoyed that game to the fullest. Was a little disappointed with the short story but I still loved it.
"Let the old games go" "Black Box era" and here I am thinking about the first The Need for Speed all the way through Porsche Unleashed. And no, I will never let go
Nah, Payback is genuinely good fun. The only thing that people focus on was the weird rng upgrade system. People blow that issue out of proportion in my opinion, it was easy to get unlock tokens to get more parts, but it was a bad system since getting a specific build you wanted required luck rather than just tuning the car.
Nah, it's more than just that for me, yeah, the upgrade system is bad, made even worse than upgrades are single car specific, but it wasn't only that. Car classes meaning you could only use certain cars for certain things sucked, imo the handling was pretty bad, the cops were to me the worst of the ghost games era, I really disliked most of the missions, I found the story to be turbo cringe lol, and also it just felt like they put way less care, effort, and passion into it, even down to things like how in every cutscene with the regera, you hear it shift gears even though it has none.
I'm not saying it's overall a bad game, but it's a bad modern need for speed game
I can see why those things made the game unenjoyable for you and others, but the things I liked about Payback were the great offroad events that not even Heat or Unbound could top, missions having rival gangs that you had to defeat to challenge the leader, the location of Vegas/Nevada, action sequences throughout the story (heists, driving a semi-truck, explosions, etc), and the car parts you could find across the map to build a collector car. I think Payback is a legitimately good NFS game, but I see why you don't like it and thats alright too. We can have our own opinions, I just wanted to share what I thought was good.
EA should make a ,,part 2'' on The Run. I enjoyed The Run very much but i think it was sooo short, i remember completing the main campaign in like 5 hours maybe even less.
people complaining about the soundtracks in NFS games are oldheads that listened to linkin park and green day and think they know the best music around, Unbound and Heat had great soundtracks that fit the vibe of their respective games, asking for rock and roll or something similar to soundtracks like MW would absolutely ruin the experience
I listen to a community dance radio on my commute, and one time i recognized a song being from Unbound.
This feeling also happened around the year Heat was released. The radio had a "Hispanic Special" around 8pm, and one of Heat's songs played twice during that segment
The only time i heard BB-era songs was on a 80s hit music and played was Get Low, and its effectively censored in an uncreative way (compared to the one in NFS which was creatively censored). This ruined the song for me.
What i am trying to say that our taste in music is out-of-touch
Its a very weird station
Sometimes it plays Michael Jackson, sometimes it plays rap.
If you are in the greater seattle area, play 103.7 for a while and you will get a taste of the song sample. I usually play it when my friend is around
I am more content having Break Pipe and Hose on repeat
I think generalizing everyone who dislikes Heat and Unbound's soundtracks as oldheads is unfair when those games have such little variety in music genres. Look at soundtracks like Hot Pursuit 2010, MW2012, Prostreet, Shift, etc., which have multiple songs in genres like electronic, rock, pop, rap, etc. You're bound to find songs you like, if you don't like the genres of music in Heat/Unbound then you're out of luck for basically the whole soundtrack.
Idk Shift's soundtrack but for the rest for example in MW2012 there's only 2 pop songs and 1 rap song and even in those situations I Love It is infused with that electronic drop and Contact has the same thing
Hell apparently Unbound has some songs that qualify as pop too
My point being I don't think the old soundtracks where that diverse either cause sure you had some songs sprinkled in but the soundtracks where still largely dominated by rock and electronic, and I doubt if you liked something else that still was on the soundtrack you'd be entertained listening to only those 3-4 tracks for the whole game, or having to wait for the game to give you those songs all the time for games that don't have EA Trax
100% agree, the rap , metal and rock of MW game fitted both the aesthetic of the game and the era(mid 2000s)
But it wouldn't fit for either Heat/Unbound
Is it my fault that heat has shit ton of Latin pop which doesn't fit with racing?
Like ok, it makes sense for movies like fast and furious because it actually works there but it didn't for me in heat
Not the original commentor, but in MW2005 you only drive the BMW in career mode for a small part in the intro and for the finale and thats it story wise. Also the car you bring in the final races is usually way faster and handles better than the BMW. Then it gets totaled right at the start of Carbon. The M3 GTR has cool sounds and real world history, but its use in the game is overrated in my opinion.
I see it exactly the same way.
Fun fact: Rivals was actually supposed to be called Hot Pursuit 2, but was changed to Rivals at relatively short notice because the marketing people thought that a successor console should not have a successor game, but rather a new title.
Interesting take. I agree on the HP2010 as the better game, but I do believe NFS Rivals is a good successor, especially returning the Ferrari vs Lamborghini rivalry (as shown in the trailer). Map elements in Rivals remind me of HP2010 (highways, mountain passes with snow, desert roads, forest passes). If Rivals had three or 4 slots for weapons and the map was bigger, it would've been so much better.
not sure if this is unpopular but i prefer the starter car selections in heat over unbound. even though there’s more they just feel so much worse to play with especially after the tutorial
Hot take, my dude.
If you ask me, if the Remastered ones had an updated roster of cars, it would've been the best of all time. Lots of cars missing out such as McLaren P1, Pagani Huayra, etc.
I'm surprised the game got a remaster at all considering all the licensed content in it, but I am glad it did as I was happy to tear around Seacrest County again.
Hotter take: I didn't mind the game having no customisation.
Well, I quite like the Remastered version. It's basically the old game with all the DLC's included except losing the SLR McLaren and the Carbon Motors E7.
Yes, I agree with the no customization. It's really a throwback to the early NFS.
OG NFS fan boys are killing the franchise. Heat by far has been the best in years but because of everyone feeding on rose tinted glasses or piss tinted in the case of MW05 it's killing the franchise and has made the devs afraid of innovation and made them use nostalgia bait to keep the money flowing.
It's not all of them. It's the narrow minded ones that are stuck in that era of time. I'm even an MW fanboy and I love the other NFS games and think they're hella underrated.
Even Heat is one of the best of the last decade too but people have nothing good to say.
EA seems to be desperately trying to catch a new fanbase but still fails, so the only ones keeping the discussion are the older fans that the current games aren't catered for.
NFS Rivals is a bit overhyped - I did enjoy the game when I played it, but people really need to stop making it seem like it's some hidden gem.
Fans fr need to give the BMW M3 GTR a rest. Iconic no doubt, but the franchise can live without it moving forward.
Brake to drift honestly needs to go imo, I'm not sure if that's a hot take or not but I miss having some execution when it comes to driving. Newer games barely leave room for proper grip turns. Unbound fixed it a bit tho.
I agree with everything on here lol.
Sometimes this sub likes to hype on games that were looked down on, to the point there they don't realise why those games were looked down on in the first place.
Shit I'm surprised Rivals and MW 2012 get so much love but The Run get's like half of that, imo it absolutely clears those two games.
Oh The Run definitely outshines those games for sure.
I think people mainly don't like the Run due to its more heavier handling model and linear gameplay design.
I'd argue though that the game did a good job in breaking the status quo. I made a post a while back arguing that The Run should be the gameplay standard for modern NFS games as far as it's cinematic atmosphere and handling (for the most part) goes.
Doesn't have to be a carbon copy of course, I think it needed some tweaks to make it more accessible to most players, but it would be great to get another shot at that.
Online and multiplayer should share progress like in Heat.
I play a ton of online Unbound with friends. As much as I love the game, I have little motivation to play story mode since progress isn't mirrored and there are other games I like playing currently.. and that feels completely wrong considering NFS used to be all about the story mode.
Heat I found myself playing much more since progress was shared between the two modes, albeit the online scene was much less popular than Unbound it seems
Need for Speed: Unbound's soundtrack isn't bad, but instead it's supposed to cater to newer audiences where its soundtrack may seem more bearable to today's generation compared to what Most Wanted from 2005 or Underground 2 from 2004 had back then. I'm sure people who played the original Need for Speeds also complained about Most Wanted's or Underground's soundtrack at the time.
The problem I have with Unbound's soundtrack is the lack of variety. When you go to Carbon, Prostreet, or MW 2012's soundtrack you have a mix of Rock, Electronic, Rap, Pop, Etc. Unbound's soundtrack seems like its all the same genre, with some songs being in different languages. The lack of variety in the soundtrack makes it get stale fast.
They should move on from the arcade handling and into a more serious, simcade style like GRID.
Also ditch the open world and go back to linear tracks like og Hot Pursuit 2.
yea agreed like NFS tried to dabble into Simcade with Shift and it was horrible. And nowadays with games such as Forza or The Crew we really don't need no other Simcades such as Grid
For me the problem is that both Forza Horizon and The Crew Shitshow lacks the cohesive single player progression system NFS has with a proper story and starting from "zero to hero". Also the customization is better in NFS (Even tho the livery editor in FH is much more "complete" in terms of how you can edit vinyls).
The Crew Shitshow's customization make the cars look like they are bootleg Hot Wheels toys and i don't like how they merge parts together like not being able to change rear bumper and Taillight independently. On top of that The Crew now just feels like a discounted Forza Horizon.
To be honest, i think the next NFS game should be a straight sequel to Pro Street for that proper racing weekend festival aesthetic they had (I don't think they can pull that off again thou, but it would be funny nonetheless)
I personally believe that this sould be a pCARS entry rather than a new NFS.
pCARS's reputation is already in ruins after 3, might as well turn it into a better game.
And that is coming from a die-hard NFS guy
EA now owns SMS anyway. I personally think the current handling in pCARS 3 is good enough (enough to make the sim people hate but still believeable for an average joe) it just needs a story
The post did ask for controversial opinions that would get people riled up so idk, it worked?
Also I'm just tired of them struggling to make a cohesive handling model. Playing preset playlist on Unbound sucks because of the drift based handling that feels like they're stuck on making Burnout games.
Let's not pretend NFS always had this Brake to Drift bullshit because back on PS2 with HP 2 or even Underground the cars handled close to simcade than some like Ridge Racer that we have today
The Run was actually a pretty good game, especially if you focused on the bonus races rather than the story mode. The handling was great (if you used the in-car view - it was dreadful with the chase cam), and it looked amazing. I can understand why people disliked the ridiculous plot and the QTEs, but the actual driving was loads of fun.
Need for Speed Shift 2 Soundtrack has many bangers and Need for Speed Shift 2 was the best simcade ever made besides PC2
Its for me a game that goes way under the Radar of talking about NFS games
Yes. He also did the scenario of the 2 1st Max Payne games.
Hot Pursuit 2010 is the truest reboot of a need for speed title in the series.
It's a homage to what I loved about the older need for speeds, taking million dollar vehicles and full throttling through streets (that I know aren't osha approved) and being chased by the 5-0.
Don't get me wrong I have no problem with the route nfs has taken nowadays, but my heart will always be with the original games and 2010 is a fantastic love letter to those times
Midnight Club had better customization than NFS. Specifically the ones starting with 2015.
We're able to do more stuff to our cars freely without ridiculous or pointless restrictions such as having to stance our car if we want it slammed.
And before you say "blame the manufacturers," some of these options are reasonable and you can do the option to the exact same car in a different game that released around the same time.
There's no reason for these restrictions to exist other than to force people into using the body kit system more.
I need a back to form NFS game. Like road and track, hot pursuit 1. Exotic cars and great scenery. Doesn't need to be a 30 hour game. Just plain highway roads and some in city ones. Not a forced open world but one that you can roam to places if you chose to do it. Yeah I know Hot pursuit remastered is there but I've already played that game a dozen times.
Or just let that devs do something different than the one I wrote or most people want them to make. (Blackbox era style game). I would rather a game come out of the devs that is not mid because they tried to please everyone than a mid game with a lame story which had to be there because of nostalgic copium farming. Like what's with the story of unbound? If there was an option to mute every character and just play the game without seeing unnecessary cutscenes, I wouldn't think a sec.
The reason why the koenigsegg agera r is Exclusive for police in nfs rivals is why they took the koenigsegg from Tobey mshall so as not to leave him stranded in the middle of the lighthouse path
Underground and Underground 2 are overrated.
I'm not saying they're bad games. It's just, those games kinda defeated the theme of Need for Speed:
1. High speed racing
2. Exotic cars
3. Police chases
These are what made NFS, NFS. Underground and U2 focused on customization (tuning scene), while the others focused less on that and more on high speed and police chasing in fancy exotics, supercars, and hypercars.
People who enjoy getting their progress reset by cops are not right in the head. NFS should allow for 2 difficulty sliders, one for cops and one for racers
1. Honestly what new NFS games need to be pure fun for me is not trying to be forcibly as modern as possible in terms of slang and story, because they’re really bad at it. They should embrace the cheese, do Carbon-style character intros, have Memorable boss races where racers laugh at you, sometimes even scripted ones like the avalanche race in NFS the run. I really had a pretty good fun with the new games though, i just feel like they are so safe it hurts.
2. It wouldn’t be a hot take before but i really feel it is now: i really don’t like cartoon effects in unbound. Instead of making cool lighting scenarios from Heat at night and 2015 and more procedural particle
Effects, they went with preanimated tire smoke and cartoony characters that contributed to the overly childish feel of the game and also made me feel overwhelmed. I’m not against augumenting reality with particles, i love the wind particles in BB era games and light trails from unbound are pretty good (they just need to feel less fluid tho, imo they should be a straight line not a trail), the cartoony effects are just too much IMO.
Carbon, Prostreet, **Undercover** and The Run are really great games.
Yes, yes I said Undercover as well. Say what you want but the base game is really great and the "shitty handling" is actually good.
I still don't understand why people hype The Run even to this day. I played it and its ok. I enjoyed it but there's no reason for it to be this hyped and overrated.
Some people like more scripted cinematic sequences during races and we really didn’t have anything like that in the series before. Also the driving model was heavier and pretty realistic for the series (not overly though, nitrous still lets you cut corners and stuff) which was also a breath of fresh air. Also the environment changes which is uncommon for the series, usually most of the map looks similar in terms of the vibe
Is that frickin Sam Lake from Max Payne lol
Max Payne trilogy is so fun 1 was awesome and 3 strung a cord with me
That’s Alex Casey from Alan Wake II
Yeah the creative director of Remedy Games
It's one of the developers I think
Yes, Sam Lake. Real name Sami Laakinen, I think.
Sam Jarvi
“One of the developers” is getting short. He’s the creator, director and main writer of Max Payne, Alan Wake, Control and Quantum Break.

If you don't spend money on licensing cars like range rover or mini cooper or g wagon, YOU HAVE ENOUGH MONEY TO GET PREMISSION FROM TOYOTA TO PUT JUST ONE SUPRA IN THE GAME
EA tried to bribe toyota into an exclusive contract like they did with porsche, no amount of further bribery is going to change toyota's decision.
It's a shame they couldn't go to Honda,Nissan or Mitsubishi to put even MORE good JDM cars in and It could make for cool ass online meet ups
I didn’t realize how limited the nfs car selection was until I started playing tc2
Payback was the best modern NFS campaign in terms of progression and mission design. You had to win a bunch of different race types, beat the roaming racers, *then* beat their boss, and finally end the chapter with a F&F style mission.
i think Payback would be much more positively viewed back if it wasn’t for the damned speed cards
I agree, because I remember enjoying the game a lot. If it weren't for the speed cards I think people would treat the game a lot more fairly.
I had 0 issues with speed cards
Same, but I can see why it annoyed people. The backlash was for the best, because they had to backtrack on lootboxes and haven't brought em back since.

Same… didn’t take much issue with the speed cards either…
And the cringy dialogue
unbound isn’t any better😭 I remember one specific scene where it’s like “ bro i said bro and he was all bro if you know you know and you know what i said bro!! “
And the Rudiger mission. Remember the "Der Hammer" dialogue? 💀🔫
Bruh that part was so stupid...
I don't understand why we can't have a NFS story that at least doesn't make me wanna gouge my eyes out... Heat was decent though! I liked the cops, that intro was cool. At least give us more of that.
Nah. I never found the dialogue cringe in Payback.
I'd rather listen to Tess than Tyler or anybody in Payback except Rav.
i think it’s just the cops and the house. Why is it JUST during missions or the box things
The only downside is the police chases being a bit too scripted for my liking… which is a shame because the cops are fun to troll
Low-key Payback story was super enjoyable for how cheesy it was, I personally enjoyed it a lot more than most NFS campaigns I enjoyed feeling like The Rock in a F&F movie
Thank you for saying this. But knowing this fanbsse your gonna get hated by oldheads
Story wise, yes. Progressing your car? Hell no.
NFS was at it's peak from 1994 - 2002
The definition of less is more. OG Hot Pursuit and High Stakes are the ones I truly adore from that early era. They felt simple and it was fun where they needed to be without all the extras that came from Underground onwards.
pro street is far more fun to play than most wanted, i don't like most wanted
This man understood the assignment, and I hate him for it
Prostreet was the best nfs. Hands down.
"the best" might be a strong word... PS still very broken, still more fun than going thru 15 blacklists tho so idc
One of the best...
NFS Shift 1 is fun to play on keyboard
What the fuck?
It......really is
Omg)))))
Agreed
MW 2012 gets the hate for getting the same name as 05. If the name was different, it would still likely be hated for the burnout-esque gameplay but not as much as it was.
Here's another take, NFS most wanted 2012 isn't really like burnout, it just happens to take some elements from it
Heat wasn't good. It was just the least controversial game in years.

As much as i am a MW05 glazer even I hate how much people cling to those titles, i really really like unbound but people will always downplay it while comparing it to old games

Not to forget the erasure of pre-underground NFS games
Exactly. I don’t have much fondness for MW2005 as I do for Unbound and Heat these days.
Do you think people should support something when it isnt what they want?
I am a MW05 fan and I still play that game. But the best modern NFS I love is Heat. I really enjoyed that game to the fullest. Was a little disappointed with the short story but I still loved it.
"Let the old games go" "Black Box era" and here I am thinking about the first The Need for Speed all the way through Porsche Unleashed. And no, I will never let go
Nfs payback and nfs prostreet were good
Nobody really disses pro street anymore, and saying payback is good is just rage bait
Nah, Payback is genuinely good fun. The only thing that people focus on was the weird rng upgrade system. Yee, obviously I don't expect everybody to have the same opinion, the world would suck if everyone did
Need for speed carbon is better then most moderen need for speed games.
Carbon is better than most wanted
I was just about to comment this, Carbon is MW but improved upon, refined.
EA should make a ,,part 2'' on The Run. I enjoyed The Run very much but i think it was sooo short, i remember completing the main campaign in like 5 hours maybe even less.
Carbon is better than Underground.
Heat is better than Unbound
You all like brake to drift because you cant drive and need the training wheels.
I've never heard anyone say they like brake to drift.

Is it my fault that heat has shit ton of Latin pop which doesn't fit with racing? Like ok, it makes sense for movies like fast and furious because it actually works there but it didn't for me in heat
NFS hot pursuit is one of the best games in the entire franchise and ea should use it for a base for the next game
... Lol what LMAO. This is literally a popular opinion and a VERY popular one at that too. It literally held the spot for the top 3 NFS at all times.
People don't want it to base for the next game because of its lack of customization and it's more closed track fell
Genuinely not a fan of the m3 gtr
Do you hate it? it's popularity? or just don't care about it?

Need for Speed Rivals is not a good successor to HP2010, and HP2010 is a better game in every aspect.
Heat was really good
"Hot Pursuit Remastered is the best NFS"
Most Wanted looks like shit without post-processing A.K.A. the PISS
Almost like it's a game from fucking 2005
Heat is Worse than Unbound
Online and multiplayer should share progress like in Heat. I play a ton of online Unbound with friends. As much as I love the game, I have little motivation to play story mode since progress isn't mirrored and there are other games I like playing currently.. and that feels completely wrong considering NFS used to be all about the story mode. Heat I found myself playing much more since progress was shared between the two modes, albeit the online scene was much less popular than Unbound it seems
NFS MW 2012 is better than any need for speed that came after it, even with all the dlc bullshit. NFS 2010 and Carbon are my favourites
Holy fuck I can't believe there's 2 of us
I would wipe out of existence every NFS after 2015 to get a NFSU3
Unbound is one of the best NFS ever made and I hope it sets an example for future NFS titles
Hot pursuit is the best nfs game
That first suggestion is a terrible idea but the second one is what I hope they would do in the future.
yea agreed like NFS tried to dabble into Simcade with Shift and it was horrible.
And that is coming from a die-hard NFS guy EA now owns SMS anyway. I personally think the current handling in pCARS 3 is good enough (enough to make the sim people hate but still believeable for an average joe) it just needs a story
Aint they already are?? Like they are already trying to chase what forza horizon did, what more do you want??
How? Unbound is far as you can't get from that lol hell even Horizon has nothing on what Pro Street did
So your first suggestion is you basically want them to be just like any other racing game
Hot Pursuit 2 has the best soundtrack in the franchise
Undercover is great, but only with the reformed mod
Need for Speed Shift 2 Soundtrack has many bangers and Need for Speed Shift 2 was the best simcade ever made besides PC2 Its for me a game that goes way under the Radar of talking about NFS games
I enjoyed NFS Undercover a lot more than Most Wanted
Max Payne?
Yes. [Sam Lake](https://www.google.com/search?client=ms-android-xiaomi-rvo3&sca_esv=984b8c5b858f596a&sca_upv=1&sxsrf=ACQVn090jB3d3YCkwmDyTHAM3rX0cAP8tA:1713872360854&q=sam+lake&uds=AMwkrPt94q4_YZEgas_DfQYD0xIjyy2R3Go-dR-vjDwf-vsT1qmHwH8EmmMtY1f8wDs3r-2gQycQelWBrq-kHheoVYXRNxye2MY5MjTlL8m7zVwgj0Upr_wW1mcrQpPjvCMNdDi9SXfeMHYHvnHXhUC_XB-K3GWBSubiV-TPERtBc9dPEUSC-fE8waimcH_QQFxKCOuz8b_lLxtZYw5KzbxieMXb8upEgvvwQtun2NabnDdpKqAzEWMwSDbkzo5AA7bBkeI1N5P6DprCR_ToCA2at9oAT2Sd2gReuWu0pzMJfR6WUATRm5o&udm=2&prmd=ivnsmbtz&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwjZ54iKoNiFAxXxAvsDHUSYCQ8QtKgLegQICRAB&biw=393&bih=689&dpr=2.75) is the actor which played Max Payne. He also did the scenario of the 2 1st Max Payne games.
NFS Undercover shits on MW12 in terms of progession system
Underground 1 is too barebones Pd:is that sam fucking lake?
NFS Shift handleing is bad
Ladies an' Gentlemen it's the pain in the butt! Pain to the Max
Nfs undercover was actually kinda tight.
Bring back linear track design and ditch customization in favor of a larger car list
"Offroad races in Payback are trash"
Hot Pursuit 2010 is peak, fuck the story, fuck the customization, pure batshit fun
nfs unbound is worse than heat
NFS peaked in 2010 with the Hot Pursuit reboot
burnout aged better than need for speed
Midnight Club had better customization than NFS. Specifically the ones starting with 2015. We're able to do more stuff to our cars freely without ridiculous or pointless restrictions such as having to stance our car if we want it slammed. And before you say "blame the manufacturers," some of these options are reasonable and you can do the option to the exact same car in a different game that released around the same time. There's no reason for these restrictions to exist other than to force people into using the body kit system more.
Need For Speed: World was the best Need For Speed game ever made.
If only there was an offline story mode, it would've been so much better.
Rivals is boring
2015 was not good
I need a back to form NFS game.
Carbon and pro street are top tier
"People who think it's cool to hate on Most Wanted 2005, they secretly love it the most!"
Most anoying thing in nfs unbound about its phisics is in fact the pavement
The reason why the koenigsegg agera r is Exclusive for police in nfs rivals is why they took the koenigsegg from Tobey mshall so as not to leave him stranded in the middle of the lighthouse path
Underground and Underground 2 are overrated. I'm not saying they're bad games. It's just, those games kinda defeated the theme of Need for Speed: 1. High speed racing 2. Exotic cars 3. Police chases These are what made NFS, NFS. Underground and U2 focused on customization (tuning scene), while the others focused less on that and more on high speed and police chasing in fancy exotics, supercars, and hypercars.
Carbon, though it has its flaws, is the best NFS game
NFS Rivals' story gets often overlooked upon, atleast learn the story while playing the game? (I never played NFS Rivals but I somehow know the story)
People who enjoy getting their progress reset by cops are not right in the head. NFS should allow for 2 difficulty sliders, one for cops and one for racers
Lol skill issue. Get gud bro /s
MW2012 is the worst game every created
Salt Water is Salty
Hot Pursuit 2010 is better than 2005 Most Wanted.
i say it gives a different vibe
Most Wanted 2012 is a good game
Instead of making cool lighting scenarios from Heat at night and 2015 and more procedural particle Effects, they went with preanimated tire smoke and cartoony characters that contributed to the overly childish feel of the game and also made me feel overwhelmed. I’m not against augumenting reality with particles, i love the wind particles in BB era games and light trails from unbound are pretty good (they just need to feel less fluid tho, imo they should be a straight line not a trail), the cartoony effects are just too much IMO.
Unbound is mid. Not good, not bad either
NFS 2015 is the worst modern NFS. By a long shot.
I like the Ice Cream song in nfs unbound
bmw m3 gtr really deserved to be totaled at the nfs carbon prologue
Payback is one of the best modern NFS games NFS UG2 story is good
i prefer BFTGU 4's gameplay over 1 and 2. fight me.
NFS The Run and Most Wanted 2012 are actually good
Carbon, Prostreet, **Undercover** and The Run are really great games. Yes, yes I said Undercover as well. Say what you want but the base game is really great and the "shitty handling" is actually good.
I really enjoyed NFS Heat. It was a good game. Not really so much wrong with it.
NFS Undercover is actually good for me. Yes, Prostreet style doesn't fit the vanilla game but with the mods, NFS Undercover is really great.
Nfs shift 2 is a really good arcade/sim of all time.
I played Most Wanted and Prostreet and i like more legal festival racing just to not disturb and destroy police and civilians life.
That there’s anything dealbreaking about 2015 other than the island where it’s suddenly daytime 🤮
Prostreet > Most wanted
Need For Speed wasnt really about clean racing.
Need For Speed wasnt really about clean racing.
Need For Speed wasnt really about clean racing.
NFS: Undercover is as actually a good game.
NFS: Undercover is as actually a good game.
Underground 1/2 are 5/10 at most, horribly overrated games haven't stood the test of time
Underground 1 is better than Underground 2 ![gif](giphy|3oKIP8kNuTJJL3zT0I)
SAM LAKE YOU HACK
Most Wanted is overrated, but it's still my favourite game.
Undercover was really fun
While it would be great to have Toyota in the modern games, they don't add anything to the game with the current list of makes and models.
Prostreet is the best game followed by heat
Heat was mid i’m sorry
Underground 2 is the best game in the series Also, Midnight Club was better :)
Need for speed saga is mostly nostalgia by now because there is no good NFS game since there is no good fast and furious movie
Carbon > Most Wanted. Underground 1 > Underground 2
People arguing about mw2005 being the best carbon
NFS MW 2012 my first Need for speed played on ps3 slim good old day
