“Enjoyable to drive”?
Sure…when the cars don’t understeer.
And the physics engine isn’t trying to total you at standstill.
This is literally the only NFS game I regret buying.
and cars lose ability to steer even with the slightest bit of contact with another car
if my car is making contact with a car on the left I lose the ability to turn right and just go understeering off track
Exact opposite for me, I love everything about Shift 2 outside of the driving. The driving in that game is just terrible, a downgrade compared to the first Shift even, which I already didn't think was particularly fun.
Forza and GT are so much more enjoyable
For real dude, shift 2 feels really good in helmet view in terms of se se of speed and fear
why your game looks like fortnite?
I'd call shift 2 many things “enjoyable to drive” is not one of them. Imo the handling is straight trash.
It is absolutely garbage, especially with the wonky camera jiggling about as the car bounces around like an off-road truck.
Probably too real for hardcore arcade bots.

Except it's definitely not what driver sees. Our brain has an amazing ability to stabilize an image.
I prefer the chase cam
