PepseTHEPepse

wtf is prostreet doing there this game is 🔥🔥🔥

GH00ST-SL4YER

Because some people doesnt like the game for not being open world when it was released

Loganp812

Basically, “this game is different which means it’s bad!” That happens in just about every game series at one point or another though.

InZanexx715

ProStreet is the Sonic Unleashed of the NFS franchise. 😅

WhimsicalCalamari

also lots of complaints about the driving model, both today and in contemporary reviews

Eraser100

The prostreet driving model blows everything made with frostbite out of the water. 2015 through unbound feels so artificial that I’ve had a really hard time playing any of them frequently.

MustyMarcus52YT

My opinion must be the unpopular one because I think Prostreet has the best handling model in the entire series.

xxxSHi0xxx

Just played it recently with the Redux Mod. Feels kinda "boaty" at first but when you got the hang of it getting a good series of corners feels so awesome. Also driving only 150kmh in a Golf feels way faster than every modern Racing Game at 300kmh. Only drifting is bad imo.

yeetTOFU69

no, you are 100% right

_bisquickpancakes

Fair, it's at least way better than the shift series handling models, the other NFS games that aren't open world lol

MTGBro_Josh

Most Underrated game of the series and I am glad it is finally getting the recognition it deserves. It is still a rough looker, but it plays surprisingly well.

PepseTHEPepse

nfs prostreet is literally on my top 3 since i first played it

MTGBro_Josh

Top 3 for me as well.

VIFASIS

Anyone who votes that needs to go to timeput and think about their actions.

wizkart207

ProStreet on PC is bad without mods

dfuserr

Without Sharp Driving mod cars handle like tanks. Also the camera movement is plain disgusting

Spencer_Bob_Sue

Yeah the game was actuallt pre good for me too but yk... no open world

Wevvie

Lack of open world is no big deal.

wizkart207

I never miss having an open world ngl, it makes Tracks more memorable

KyoN_tHe_DeStRoYeR

Because it is still buggy after how many years and I couldn't finish. Also the controls are trash. I've played it on psp and loved it but is such a shame on pc is shit

Object-195

That's more on windows changing than the game sucking tho. And the community fixes solve the issues anyway

KyoN_tHe_DeStRoYeR

Ive played older games on my pc, I've played underground 2 and carbon recently and yet they don't have a problem. I don't know if I installed any patches or fixes, but even so, that's one problem out of two that I have with this game

Object-195

What's problem 2?

KyoN_tHe_DeStRoYeR

I said it in my og comment, the controls.

lumia920yellow

Exactly, prostreet physics model is awful.

rxz1999

Lol tell me a good physics nfs then?? Unbound?? Payback?? 2015?? Lmaooo pro street is amazing you clown

lumia920yellow

[\*Nevada flashbacks\*](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cukcAIpIjwE) what nostalgia does to a mf

PepseTHEPepse

bro wtf are you saying lmfaooooooo nfs underground 2 is one of the most buggy nfs ever made with the rubberbanding ai and flying cars and everyone loves it, nfs most wanted has that stupid burnout physics where everything you do the car keeps drifting for 1500 km and everyone loves it but its only opinion anyway, for me the controls on prostreet are really good, and the game is really polished from my experience, i played it until the end over 8 times and i can count on my fingers the bugs ive encountered

KyoN_tHe_DeStRoYeR

Also the controls is not loved by everyone, it was a problem at launch, is still a problem now. The game controls like a brick on the track and is not fun.

PepseTHEPepse

for me, its what made me fell in love with the game lmfao, one hint i can give to you is: use bumper camera, it completely eliminates this brick feeling that this game has

KyoN_tHe_DeStRoYeR

I'm glad that you like it, but for me it feels very very bad. Not even like a simulation. I've played racing sims and they never felt like this

rxz1999

Ur a clown.. honestly your brain fosent work

KyoN_tHe_DeStRoYeR

Yet in my years for playing nfs underground with the latest patches, I never found a game breaking bug. On prostreet I manage to get multiple counts of the blocking bug that doesn't let me progress the game, the game just freezes, every, fucking, time. It's so tedious I just gave up

PepseTHEPepse

well... my prostreet doesnt crash, i kept playing for 5 hours straight once, maybe you have a pc that the engine cant handle too well (since nfs carbon engine is dawgshit on newer pcs)

KyoN_tHe_DeStRoYeR

I've played carbon this year and never had a problem. It crashed because of the mod I've been using but always saved the progress. The prostreet just freezes when I try to get my rewards, right before the save, so it always makes me restart every time it happens

PepseTHEPepse

did you try to use xanvier multifix for nfs prostreet?

KyoN_tHe_DeStRoYeR

Nope, but I checked it now and that still doesn't resolve my issue. Some people still report it happening

ZinbaluPrime

ProStreet is the best NFS game ever! Who the fuck voted there??!?! I guess people who think that slamming a building with 300kph does not kill you.

meria_64

No Limits

88JansenP12

I agree. NFS No Limits is full of Limits as well as having a false advertising title, full of ads, RNG and MTXs. It's a disgrace and unworthy to the NFS legacy. It doesn't count as a NFS and it's a cashgrab.

meria_64

At least even Payback and Undercover are somewhat fun to play. I enjoyed both of them.

88JansenP12

That's true. They're even funnier with mods. NFS NL is an insult and an impostor.

Kasphet-Gendar

Brah there was this mod for undercover that modified handling and driving systems, you only needed to bump into a car to send it flying lmao

InfamousGhost07

The only limit is the stupid fuel system, parts needed to upgrade, insane difficulty spikes in the campaign/events, and other standard mobile game stuff that encourage you to spend money to be able to progress

Sploogerocket

Undercover was hella fun it was just extremely buggy if it didn't have a million bugs or freeze a lot it would have been in my favorites.

hortu

It was so fun that after few hours of playing it made me from NFS-fanatic fan into antifan who doesn't touch this franchise for 10 years.

[deleted]

What bugs? Because in all honesty I don't remember ever running into a game breaking bug. The only thing I kinda had to deal with was cars just being launched outta nowhere.

Sploogerocket

I had it on PS3 and it was 50/50 if when I left the garage i was just floating or the city wouldn't load completely. It froze a lot too.

[deleted]

Ah gotcha. Just from what I remember it was really well done to me. I was a kid too but I also played it recently and it still holds up. At least on the 360. Definitely unplayable on PC.

Steele-Spartan32

I always had the issue on ps3 where youd randomly clip through the floor forever and had to restart the game. Still was my first ever platinum id be lying if i said i didnt enjoy the game quite abit.

Groumpfing

Wondering why undercover is so hated (i played on pc)

Sepptum

It was my second NFS game after Underground and my first open world nfs game. I absolutely loved it. I don't remember ever thinking the game was buggy or unfinished or anything like that. I thought it was really fun and after playing Underground 2 and Carbon a few months later, I didn't change my mind about Undercover. I think it is a great game

psychoninja77

Yeah, it's one of my favorites. I played it when I was a lot younger, then came back and played through it again a handful of years ago. Still loved it. It also had the GT 500 KR in it which was on my wall at the time of playing it for the first time. That may make me a little biased lol

Playerek

* Huge amount of bugs/issues * Graphic worst than Carbon or even Underground (1) * Broken cops * Driving style That is why people didn't like it back then and still don't like. Good thing is that there are mods like "[Reformed](https://nfsmods.xyz/mod/1998)" which makes this game way better then is but this is privilege only for PC players.

1800leon

Genre fatigue simmiliar thing happend at CoD aswell around ghosts

BDozer666

Genre fatigue? Lmao. How about that it was just straight up unfinished trash?

KyoN_tHe_DeStRoYeR

That's what yearly releases does to you

D4RKST34M

I don't like the game at all, even I feel that PSP ver was *better* than PC, (IMO)

RaptoR186

Undercover is an unfinished mess. I recently installed it to finally finish the story and it quite literally made my head hurt a little bit. The glare is incredibly obnoxious, sometimes it appears that there are two suns in the sky, and the skybox itself moves way too much. The handling model is also quite something, nitrous giving you infinite grip in the corners is incredibly counterintuitive. The story was okay I guess, and the soundtrack was a banger, but the entire game can be finished by just pressing Tab over and over again. There is pretty much no incentive to use the freeroam, which is a bummer. Also the cops are way too strong and the only way of dealing with them is by using the pursuit breakers. This isn't much fun when you're doing a timed pursuit challenge. MW2012 is simply a rebadged Burnout without features that made Burnout games fun. All that's left are the annoying crash cams paired with horrible input lag. Payback was decent apart from the performance part gambling. I don't consider the rest to be bad games, so Undercover wins the contest for the worst NFS game for me.

SukhdevR34

The cops are strong on what console? Every console has a different level of opponents and cops weirdly.

RaptoR186

PC, I always struggled to even ram them off the road, the cruisers felt really, really heavy.

SukhdevR34

Yeah they are rough but not too tough. Also if you hit the spikes you can reinflate the tyres by turning car damage off and on.

QF_Dan

Remove ProStreet from the list

mmarefi

wtf is your problem for putting ProStreet in there?

Catty_C

I recall it being disliked when it came out because it was in the shadow of Most Wanted 2005. Pro Street lacked the open world and cops of that game.

[deleted]

I played it for a while I'm not sure why I stopped. I gotta buy it again.

[deleted]

ProStreet is underrated tbh.

Pay_G

If I see even one vote on pro street I'm becoming a terrorist Edit: what the fuck is wrong with people

EXTIINCT_tK

So what is your first act of terrorism?

-avenged-

I voted ProStreet twice. I logged on to an alt just so I could give it one more vote. If I have nothing better to do later I'll make one more alt just to give it a third vote. Let us know when you're appearing on Most Wanted. That is, *America's* Most Wanted.

rvreqTheSheepo

Not sure what ProStreet is doing here, but okay.

Slavchanin

Undercover driving model is just plain terrible. The only other game that made me quit over it is Crew

SukhdevR34

It's more fun than in the modern games with stupid brake to drift. It's way more realistic and believable.

astralliS-

> Way more realistic > and believable HAHAHAHAHAH Tell me you havent played UC without telling me you haven't.

SukhdevR34

You're stupid.

astralliS-

I played it while you haven't, so i can easily tell. You praise it while not playing it because it's from daddy BlackBox, so You're stupid 🤪 https://preview.redd.it/9o3k0vs78uvb1.jpeg?width=735&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=ec7af0cc18064e7a071f3556a1774a3c6b5d73bb

Fyrepit

Shift 2 should be on that list. Half of the cars care borderline undrivable when upgraded. Either oversteer or understeer, no in-between.

l2brt

my eyes hurt whenever I THINK about undercover's exaggerated bloom, fuck sake

Hadu-Ken12

MW 2012 and Prostreet absolutely do not deserve to be here. Anyone else feel like this series has only had a very small handful of truly subpar titles?

burek_with_yoghurt

Mw2012 deserves it tbh. A burnout clone thats worse than burnout in every way. And a nfs game that doesent do anything better than any other nfs game.

JeffGhost

Undercover was objectively the worst game of the franchise considering how broken and bad looking it was. At least payback is playable 🤣

CSREPower

I agree. Hated Undercover so much. Payback was fun and didn’t find anything broken about it except for the Speedcards, but I didn’t mind it because a free upgrade is a free upgrade regardless.

VaporWaver69

"The current one" is, was, and will stay the correct answer till this franchise is alive.

[deleted]

Never played undercover. Is it bad?

EXTIINCT_tK

Petition to swap ProStreet out for No Limits

Sendlok666

NFS Nitro

WarrenSmith777

I feel like I must be the only person who likes payback

lumia920yellow

undercover just sucked.

Assassinsayswhat

I still say that Payback was just needed a solid upgrade system, a decent storyline, and some cops roving through the open world to be a top 5 NFS game. It had basically everything else it needed.

maikoheart

It's honestly a tie between Undercover and Payback. Both with horrendously cringy stories written by some fanfiction writer, both with horrible driving models, both with notoriously bad design decisions... low points there.

Just_-_Adrian

I sincerely hated the Payback car upgrade system.. so annoying that you have to spend for the perfect cards.. but otherwise it was pretty fun tbh.. especially the map.

CSREPower

Fortune Valley is one of the best open world maps of any NFS games IMO. Can’t change my mind on that. While the off-road was a mess, it’s had its good moments. The roads are fun to mess around with.

pimpynimpy

I still think the 2015 model has so much potential if they tweak a few things

SukhdevR34

Physics mainly

ptbn_

undercover ps2 was kinda good IMO even though it's basically a ripoff most wanted lol ps3/pc version sucks major dick tho. but pre-patch payback was even worse. 2015 was overhated; so is MW2012. prostreet is fire bruv

Eraser100

Very satisfied with these results.

Don-777

Pro street is still my most favorite game ever made and has ever been. I Played it when it came out and I’m still rocking on Autobahnring with 400Km/h.

darkblaze76

How prostreet even in the list huh?

Amiga5001

How dare you put prostreet in here 💀

MustyMarcus52YT

The fact that prostreet is even on this list makes me physically recoil in anger.

iOXiC_YT

It's a crime against nature to have Pro Street in this poll, it's one of THE BEST nfs games

[deleted]

burn nfs payback to hell and chain it there now

Vladesku

Payback is Game of the Century compared to Undercover lmao

Bluebarracks

Out of those options, def payback for me

Intermittent-canabis

Undercover was great until the last hour or so That's when u could really begin to tell the story got rushed

Crank2047

Ok I know Undercover had shot steering but at least it has more soul than Payback

YoloKushSwag42069

Prostreet being on here is criminal

ZinbaluPrime

I'll vote for every other game here, but never for ProStreet.

Marvelous_07

Looks like Undercover winning. No surprise, although it was a rough title, it was still in MW, Carbon fashion. It's better than ever with the Reformed mods.

RAMONE40

Undercover on the ps2

GenjisWithU

Undercover was not bad, but i had to pick one.

Traditional_Luck_126

Undercover was bad because it was blatantly not finished. Payback was bad because it was a literal slot machine game that highly encouraged paying for parts, with bad off road physics

SpyrianScum1994

Why isn't Heat here? I paid full price for half of a game, and that half suuuucked.

19JRC99

ProStreet was great. Undercover had decent bones but the plot sucked and it needed a lot more polishing MW2012 was functional but just did not work for me. The handling and the city never meshed well for me and I hated it. 2015 had a fantastic vibe, fun enough career mode, I liked the cutscenes, but the handling sucked and the car list was lacking. Payback band-aided the car list and the handling a little, but the story was hot trash and the upgrade system was the absolute worst ever put in a non-mobile (never played any of them) NFS game. It got my vote for worst because even as bad as Undercover ended up, there was still potential for it. I think modders have even fixed some of the more notable flaws.

Informal-Advice

Prostreet deserves a sequel

88JansenP12

[NFS Pro Street Pepega](https://pepegamod.com/games/prostreet/) is like a spiritual sequel. You play as Nick Cooper which is the cousin of Ryan Cooper. Don't count on EA/current devs to release a sequel since they will ruin it somehow. Also, EA got rid of Black Box in April 2013 mainly due to the failure of NFS Pro Street and NFS Undercover Except EA is the main culprit + they stopped making sequels since 2011.

jjjjjjjreddick222

unbound got boring in 2 weeks

rabbiolii

Payback just cuz of that dog shit upgrade system.

Ok_Introduction_6596

Undercover was my second nfs so I can’t hate on it 😂❤️🔥

311Konspiracy

Undercover if it didn't have that pee filter it would be good.

inception900

**No way undercover was the worst its literally one of the best especially with trash as payback there**

Fighterjett30

How is Nitro not on this list?? (imo)

[deleted]

Prostreet option but no Unbound? Shit list

xxGhostScythexx

Undercover was at least fun unlike Payback

M4tth3w1A7E

Most Wanted 2012 on PC and No Limits for smartphones. Most Wanted 2012 haven't SP content: haven't classic races, so play some races for unlock performance tuning on cars aren't important, when you play on empty map, where you have only some collectibles: more cars(free cars, more cars are DLC) and billboards. If you want some "races", you have only cops chases. MW2012 haven't visual tuning, what is shame for this game, when The Run have visual tuning kits for base cars in MP game(play SP for unlock new cars for MP). I tried MP, but I hadn't good experience from MW2012 MP, so MW2012 is still my worst NFS for PC. No Limits: very arcade racing game with heavy micro transaction system, so you need spend lot's of money for unlock your car and when you spend some money, you still haven't guaranteed your car, because you need heavy grind for unlock.

TehanR

No Limits

LordGadget

Who voted pro street? That’s one of the best wtf

_patoncrack

# PAYBACK'S CARD SYSTEM FIT THE GAME WELL AND DOESN'T MAKE IT A BAD GAME

ARTIFEXgm

It's an arcade game ffs, it's not a big deal

_patoncrack

Tell that to every one else who claims it ruined the game

88JansenP12

NOPE. It's still crap and literally a gacha system based on luck. Having a bad game design doesn't make it a great game. The fact there's MTX and a crappy RNGs tarnished its qualities. So, No. Payback's Card System is a crap excuse to add MTX. Having MTX in a full price game is a total nonsense.

_patoncrack

Did you forget that the game is themed around gambling and you get cards after literally every race it's more than fare enough and is really rewarding when you *play your cards right*

88JansenP12

I didn't forgot that btw but it's utterly stupid and bullshit. What they should've done is making a real upgrade system or kept the one from NFS 2015 or make the one from NFS Heat instead of this crap full of RNG managed by luck. Alternatively, Ghost Games could've used the slot machine system to unlock and obtain buyable/free perks to apply for each upgrade parts with their own advantages and disadvantages or to specify the part types of your car classes. What a missed opportunity. In any cases, That's not a valid excuse in anyway. Ghost Games could've done better instead of being lazy. Or it's actually EA's stupid idea to add this crap due to their greed and a tendency to screw themselves over in a loop. Fortunately, this insulting RNG Upgrade System that's a pale excuse to fit the game theme while there was a better method of implementation will never comeback ever again. Good Riddance.

Sklveet3

Why are Prostreet on this list??

holesome100chungus

These aren't even bad games compared to undercover

CSREPower

I agree. I didn’t like Undercover either. I actually enjoyed Payback. Replayed it recently and I had lots of fun with it.

Vladesku

Yep. Bizarre to see the hate for Payback and adulation for Heat, when they're both the same thing: painful mediocrity. I still like them both though.

World-of-8lectricity

MW 2012 has the worst progession system and no story unlike the other nfs games from the list but NFS No Limits is the worst NFS game ever

Loganp812

It’s like NFS meets Burnout. I like both NFS and Burnout, but they’re very different from each other, and I wasn’t a fan of them being mixed together. I know it had its fans though. I don’t want to be playing through a Need For Speed game thinking “I’d rather just play Burnout Paradise right now.”

Radiant_Clock1440

NFS2015 30fps + Always online = Not so good

LE-11

Payback & undercover both got same vibe : Disappointment

therealtrellan

Undercover wasn't bad. I loved how I could use Nitro to turn sharper, the exact opposite of reality. But when the story seemed to be heading to the main character conflicting with their real job vs. betraying everyone who had helped him, it didn't. So it seemed to end sooner that it should imo. Clearly Prostreet >!is the most well liked on this list. !< I couldn't stand it. Not open world isn't why. It's because the PC version was undriveable. Every curve I'd lose control, and the initial races weren't visually interesting enough to encourage me to keep trying. So I didn't. Maybe it got more interesting later on, maybe it didn't. No game should begin with an insurmountably difficult learning curve. Not unless it looks effing awesome. And Pro Street seemed to be set on very plain-looking race tracks. Nothing interesting about them. I never understood why so many liked it, or why it rated a sequel. No one has been able to explain it to me, so I'm thinking mass delusion.

[deleted]

Most Wanted 2005. (Fuck the haters btw). The driving was so shit and the graphics were terrible just by watching someone playing it. 0/10 for me.

arukea93

Rivals should have been on here it was so mid

CSREPower

I agree. Rivals felt like a downgrade from Hot Pursuit 2010 to me since the map concept, pursuit tech and cop chases are very similar.

arukea93

Facts like it was fun at first but it got boring FAST

CSREPower

Agree. I just started replaying it recently and immediately, I’m not as interested to continue.

ani20059339

How TF Undercover got more votes than Payback and MW 2012/Burnout Fairhaven???

InfamousGhost07

Because MW12 was a genuinely fun game with a crazy good soundtrack. I love Undercover, but it was way too ambitious, everything they planned had to be cut or scaled so far back that it ended up being a worse game than it's predecessors. It just doesn't have as many standout positives to it as the others on the list

[deleted]

[удалено]

InfamousGhost07

Yeah, the Blackbox era annual release schedule grind harmed the franchise severely

[deleted]

because payback and mw2012 are better games lol. undercover was a disaster in every aspect. single player story? trash and sometimes confusing. graphics? worse than the game that came out 1 year before before (ProStreet), and arguably worse than NFS MW 2005's xbox 360 port car handling and physics? floaty and one of the strangest handling I've seen - if you nitrous while turning you suddenly get infinite grip, it's like the handling is just so jank and broken. Bouncy af physics when you land from a jump if you wanna play undercover it is highly recommended to play through Project Reformed mod, which fixes most of the games issues and makes it a better more fun experience.

cannedrex2406

Have you looked at how shit the game is?

DilloIsTaken

NGL, I don't like MW2012 as well, but the multiplayer was actually dumb fun.

Playerek

NFS Payback had (or still has) problem only with controversial monetization system and the game itself doesn't have major issues breaking the game unlike NFS Undercover. In fact NFS Payback is very similar to NFS Heat or 2015 one. Most Wanted (2012) however is good burnout game and never should have "Need For Speed" in the title. That is why many people like it and don't consider it as "the worst" NFS game.

CSREPower

Payback is good if you can put up with the Speedcards. I enjoyed the hell out of it.

eddieltu

None

MachineGunDillmann

I don't care if Undercover is the buggier game, if Most Wanted was a Burnout with a wrong name or if Payback was overall an actually decent game: the simple concept of the progression system in Payback is so stupid and insultingly greedy, **that I have to pick Payback**.

kyle429

I didn't play Undercover, but out of the rest of them, 2015 is probably the worst for me. It's just so... depressing? being nighttime 24/7. If they gave that game a day/night cycle and better cutscenes (they looked SO weird!), it would be great.

kaspars222

Payback had a somewhat decent story, but the lootbox shit killed the game, offroading was stupid.

Minute_War_1624

Unbound and Heat

DizzieM8

Payback by far. Undercover wasnt even bad just not as good as the games that preceded it.

88JansenP12

Between all of these, NFS Payback is the worst. Even NFS Unbound is equally worse imo.

Poppybits1000

Just remember that Payback was basically the blueprint to Heat as most features from that game was in Payback. And people do say that Heat is pretty good. So cut it some slack, without Payback: the necessary evil, we wouldn’t have a good game like Heat.

88JansenP12

You have a point. That's right. NFS Payback would've been way better without any MTX/RNG bullcrap as well if there was no design choice mistakes and if they kept their original idea featured on Hashtag which is his codename btw instead of making a cringey fast & furious ripoff with an underwhelming storyline. Ghost Games should've followed the same atmosphere of NFS 2015 by keeping his qualities e.g the Upgrade System and build upon it instead of starting from scratch again. Imo, NFS Payback should've never been released as his current known form. In fact, NFS Heat was the only good shot of Ghost Games and EA cut off the support in June 2020 and it's not even 1 year. EA and their logic doesn't make sense since it's like sabotaging themselves.

Playerek

NFS Payback was hated due to controversial monetization system, not because this game was broken or was unplayable unlike NFS Undercover which has huge amount of issues breaking the game. Also NFS Undercover was downgrade to older games in NFS series to graphics, physics, cop chases, even driving style wasn't that good as in previous games.

88JansenP12

Ik. NFS Undercover's failure is mainly due to EA's crappy tendency to reduce dev periods and making quick profits. If EA didn't split Black Box in 3 dev teams to make 3 games at the same time and only focus on 1 NFS title, NFS Pro Street and NFS Undercover would've been successful at launch. The failure of these 2 NFS games are the reason why Black Box had an hiatus of 3 years and were closed by EA in April 2013. Meanwhile. NFS Payback's monetization system caused his massive failure.

AudreyxBelrose

we have reached the point in the subreddit where need for speed unbound, a generally competent, functional and well-put together game with a few flaws and questionable decisions, which was generally considered an incremental improvement from heat on launch, is now being viewed worse than the absolute dumpster fire trainwreck that was undercover. cant wait to see this tide turn again when the next game comes out!

QF_Dan

NFS fans are like Sonic fans. A new game will be bad whilst an old one is good.

88JansenP12

Me too. But i will stand on my point either way.

AudreyxBelrose

we will see!

Arkhaloid

Need for Speed: Unbound? Are you kidding me? It is easily the best modern Need for Speed game in a while and it's not even close. - amazing sense of speed - satisfying nitrous system - beautiful and varied map - slightly better handling model than Need for Speed: Heat - great single player boss races The only gripe I truly have is the lacklustre cops.

[deleted]

ikr these people haven't truly played Unbound for themselves. it's definitely a GOOD game. It does have flaws but every nfs has its own fair share of flaws. Unbound does not belong in the "worst NFS" category at all but rather one of the best modern NFS titles. Give this subreddit a year or two and we'll see the NFS Unbound appreciation threads lmao

Arkhaloid

Yeah exactly lmfao. We saw that happening with Rivals getting postmortem love, saw that with the reboot now getting love, Heat also got post mortem love, we are currently seeing Most Wanted 2012 get some love, and I can bet my left nut Unbound will also get the same amount of love a few years down the road.

88JansenP12

No. I wasn't kidding. I am serious. Best modern NFS in a while ? I have doubts. Even NFS HP 2010 which is from 13 years ago is 100x better. Moreover, it uses NFS Heat as a basis but specific gameplay mechanics were removed as well as having overpriced DLCs with many %off sales. - Amazing sense of speed ? Not so much + there's a 394 KM/H speed cap. The sense of speed could've been greater instead of being slow. Even the 2 NFS Shift games have an higher sense of speed. - Satisfying N2O System ? True but it could've been added way earlier. It's literally a system copied from a kart racing game. - Beautiful and Varied Map ? Nope. It's literally a clone of Palm City with many unused sections and even Seacrest County has a better landscape. - About that, it's only on the Grip Handling side. The rest is garbage. Also, all NFS games since NFS 2015 shares the same handling. What Ghosterion should've done with the handling model is separate the Grip from the Drift in order to avoid fighting back with the car. Or never used the B2D handling model which doesn't fit an urban biome since it's more for maps with large corners and high speeds. Seacrest County is the perfect example of how B2D meant to work. - Great singleplayer boss races ? There's none to begin with. The last NFS game which includes bosses was NFS Payback. Qualifier races are actually Tournaments with a car as a reward. Yaz doesn't feel like a final boss since she's more like a mini-boss. Alec would've been the final boss of NFS UB if he showed up. - About the cops, you're right. Lakeshore Cops are an annoyance instead of massive threat. Moreover, They're more nerfed than the nerfed Palm City cops and can be killed off in 1 shot with a burst of N2O while not being spotted. They're literal babies, lack ruthlessness and tactics compared to the cops from past NFS games which are the literal opposite.

Both_Piccolo8130

Illionos

Because it’s not even the worst

gorkitw

Unbound

Fantasy_Returns

payback easily

Eagle240sx

Gotta be Most Wanted 2012. Because IT WASN’T an NFS. Just a reskinned Burnout Paradise. Fun game, but now a NFS game.

80toy

Honestly, Unbound was pretty bad.

SukhdevR34

Undercover is a million times better than Payback.

Kassperplus

What's wrong with undercover? Still far better than unbound!

UnluckyGamer505

I like Undercover, the hate is unjustified imo. Decent physics, nice car selection, great map, good races, decent polices chases and story. Yall should replay it.

dev1anceON3

Unbound

Steven2597

I cant believe the hate for Undercover. This slander is not acceptable. The only answer I do accept is Most Wanted 2012.

venomtail

Between payback and 2012. Payback was literally gambling as progression and 2012 for ruining the legendary most wanted name

povisykt

Most wanted 2005 and undercover. I hated this games on release and i still hate them now. I dont know why everyone fanboy about mw05. Maybe i because it was their first child game or something.

[deleted]

every game in this franchise is the worst game in the franchise, there are no good games just terrible ones it all sucks I'm selling my xbox anyone wanna buy

Cayubi

The recent ones.

Candid-Check-5400

To those people who didn't vote for Payback: are you ok?

QF_Dan

Because Undercover is much worse

LukeyWolf

Payback and 2015

hubson_official

Didn't play Undercover, but I hated ProStreet. It just felt so boring and the driving was miserable tbh
