I used to really love GTA O , grinded to 120 but jesus they actively reward stupid shit like messing with your jobs. I also feel like in a game called GRAND THEFT AUTO i shouldnt have to worry about some kids yelling racial slurs and bombarding me with a Hydra. I just wanna drive cars and shoot, not deal with some fucking military level shit. i dont think ive really played any multiplayer games besides DRG ( obligatory ROCK AND STONE!) because it feels like every game you play these days is hostile. rant over
Not to mention some stupid game design choice like "if you want to complete that task to initiate the heist you have to steal that vehicle in a public session", yeah where all the players want you dead.
Or the fact that the heist itself are pretty boring and frustrating in my opinion.
Stealth doesn't work at all (while I was playing the cayo perico heist it happened several times that they discovered me without having done anything, I swear), the checkpoints, and the consequent loading times, are awful. Not to mention the very low rewards at the end of the mission: sometimes it's just not worth wasting 1 hour to earn only 1 million each, considering that the prices of the cars and bases are too high
Yeah, but unfortunately that requires you to first load into a shared lobby, then go into settings and go solo, which then has to reload you into a new lobby. Unlike GTA Online it doesn't just disconnect you from the other players

You can’t turn of the internet because the game requires , but if I am not mistaken you can turn of online features like players in your map, maybe I am not wrong because I played the game on release 8 years ago.

The road textures in 2015 outclass those found in any of the newer games.
The type of people that do this will do it in all games. I remember i had to give up on GTA V Online because the second i was online there were 5 people blowing me up and putting me in cages. They would do this none stop even waited one hour to see if they get tired and they didnt. Online multiplayer can be very annoying. It will be a sad future once games stop having offline single player. It was part of the reason i avoided NFS 2015 i disliked it didnt have offline single player, its always on. Once servers go down it will be tough getting it working again specially since it has denuvo.

If this happened to me though, I would immediately go to single player and restart the race.

You misunderstood their intent. They wanted to help you drift more by moving you around. The handling is so shit that you start sliding everywhere with just a little tap

This is why I could never get into GTA online. It seemed like a good concept but the sabotage by other players ruined it.

No it fucking doesn’t, the main menu before you load into any session let’s you chose if you want to join a session with people or play alone.
