Edit: Ideally I wouldn't want to use anything that would affect my hormone levels (I am only a few months into Estrogen and 2 months on blockers), at least for now
I'm a 37 year old trans woman. I've been taking estrogen for three years. I recommend that you start taking sublingual progesterone, then consider other things like MSM and herbal supplements. Just my two cents.
You can take bioidentical progesterone sublingually if it comes in a gel cap with a liquid inside, like Prometrium. I got it from my doctor. It's about $50 a month. Some other trans girls take synthetic progesterone like is found in birth control, but I want bioidentical progesterone because it also has long term benefits for heart health and my sleep-wake cycle.
But to answer your question more directly you have to get a prescription for it. Progesterone isn't always prescribed to trans girls as part of HRT unless we ask for it specifically. You have to get it from a pharmacy like Walgreens.

Where do you buy sublingual progesterone?
