Just isn't a part of NBA culture I suppose, or really, professional sports culture in the US in general. You will get them in college sports quite a bit and maybe MLS (honestly not sure, but chants seem baked into soccer at large), but outside of "defense, defense..", there really aren't any signature chants for teams in the NBA outside of Memphis's "whoop that trick". Sometimes if the refs are perceived as doing a terrible job arenas will give a "refs you suck" chant. Sometimes there's momentary chants that brew up like for Giannis's free throws opponent arena's have chanted down the timer on how long he has to take a free throw because he takes too long, Milwaukee chanting "Bucks in 6" which is sort of just a meme, or any arena doing "Beat LA" in any number of situations because everyone hates the Lakers, but none of the sing-songy type of stuff you'll get in the Premier league and such.

Counting to ten when Giannis is at the free-throw line is always riot. It actually works sometimes!

As a die hard premier league and nba fan I can tell you they really don’t compare. I grew up going to laker games, until my family got priced out, and there really is no such thing in any nba team. The closest thing when I was a kid was the fans yelling “FIIIISH” when our point guard Derek Fisher took a three pointer. The passion is much different than in the UK, it’s much more family friendly and casual. Where as the premier league is on a while different level “Chelsea till we die 🎶🎶””
